Found Tools in the Trash | Junking on Garbage Day

good creepy foggy morning yeah welcome to the scrap impound on channel we're gonna try to find some stuff on the curb or in a dumpster or something our journeys gonna start right now [Music] now I little bit just in case someone thinks that they can salvage it yeah so I just washed all of my gloves yeah there's nothing like the feeling of fresh clean gloves and I'm wearing my leather ones because a fog has made everything wet so these are thicker thicker leather this is a spot where I got that humongous barbecue Mungo a barbecue it's not even a word it's like that movie Mungo Bungo likes barbecue all right Mungo yes please all day oh that's cool that young I took the door off for safety cool so it's 8 o'clock and I'm just now laughing ah you can see that I'd bet my ride everything is wet okay just get this thing loaded up I'm racing the garbage man and I just grab the corners like this and should walk things over better than scraping it on the ground did you drag it actually walking a dog when I was stopped over here about two months ago probably and he's okay I got something some stuff for you some of you all's remember yeah all right now this area has been very profitable all right let's find it let's get the good stuff you can see a little bit of metal is it buried though cool this is all full of tools hey speaking of tools do you see that here that driver brand new hose paint sprayer of some sort all right let me take this to the house or to the truck I better hurry up yeah and I just stopped fellow piece of hell let's get dremel tool also is in here definitely definitely is this thing sponge it stick seda flair it's a dynamite tools tools hey let's convene it all right dump this right into my truck I'm gonna grab that whole little garbage can wait there tools in there I think even she was telling fall it's totally heavy too all right so that guy's broken but actually my dump it out right here and then fill up the garbage can full of the garbage those more tools then you know I'm not gonna do that here taking the whole thing now I want to finish my route just cuz I'm over here but I'm so curious what is in that pile of stuff in the back of my truck it's so fun you know people ask me all the time you know Paula why do you scrap because of stuff like that it is just a fun and some people were saying hey Paul why don't you do this or do that you're gonna be so much more efficient you're gonna do and I'm yeah I just like doing the activity you know and it's I'm not gonna speed it up you know cuz I'm enjoying the process so yeah I'm racing the garbage man right now let's stay ahead of him getting my scrap get my stuff so you know and I've made this analogy before you know what I would I go into a movie or rent a movie just a fast-forward during a bunch of stuff just to be more efficient at getting to the end of the movie no I want to sit there and enjoy the movie or enjoy the song or you know I'm listening to an entire album you know do I want to just you know let's just get to the good parts I'm just want to listen to just the chorus because the course is the best part of the song no you listen to the whole thing it's like this scrapping I'm going to enjoy the whole process and no one's gonna stop me I see two drawer filing cabinet yeah let's get it way to go through that stove roll Oh what do you guys think I'll mellow out finish the route then hit my storage unit so I can look through that stuff at my leisure at our leisure house' probably a hundred trucks and they're too bit of illuminati that's right homeowner it's it's not completely altruistic I am I have a motive and that motive is to announce that hey I'm a scrapper and I'm scrapping metal [Music] and by saying hey do you mind if I scrap some steel or the you know something like that a percentage of the time platter I'm not sure what it is twenty thirty forty percent of the time some will say hey I've got something for you and they'll say hey I got something for you oh it's vile just rusty vital bummer man oh so yeah often times they'll say hey I got something for you and they'll bring something out or whatever because people are generally helpful Wow I love that tree every time I Drive by here I take a look at that tree man I think you tell stories it's probably a hundred years old seventy five hundred years old okay so it looks like eleven point eight three miles for 51 minutes and 41 seconds so I've been scrapping a little bit more than an hour and I'm gonna do a snapshot here of this yeah so we're done with this so this area but there was one dumpster that I just want to take a quick look into how you doing sir alright just looking in your dumpster for any metal all right thank you sir no none Oh is she all storage unit and I'm gonna take off a few things just so we can get to those tools and whatever is in that pile I have no idea all right it is definitely a good day not a good hair day but it's a good steel scrap some busted up fingernail clippers is that a knife set what is this scrap so just do a socket and then plug something in just blade used doesn't look bad scrap what else you got here - definitely definitely keeping sockets bunch of sockets is this thing so clip of some sort more blades that is the best even though it's brass and I but I'm not going to uh but it's it's the best hose some now so keep ah perfect this is what you use on the end of a power a power washer you put this on the power wash and then you can have the hose up to it yeah I had to actually make one of these for that I have two power washers at home now I don't know why I want to keep it but I'm done can you keep keep brand-new heat just so something in their stead of blade for Wow Wow it's dangerous scrub it garbage scrub now that is a true rat tail file that is nice super nice not sure what I bet it works oh let's broke it off Oh oops remember to get that that's not what you want in the road the garbage man when I do the interview is what does he think of holes and garbage bags I think it's no big deal because a garbage man can just pick it up and toss it but I don't think a garbage man's gonna pick it up from the bottom and oh it got loose it's all over the neighborhood I don't think that's gonna happen but I'm gonna ask him see what he has to say let's get right down to the truth yeah this is definitely old some ass crap this guy soggy Oh totally soggy what is in here that just rainwater yeah there's no smell to it well muddy rainwater cigar oh it's the guard juice that's why it's brown scrap a whole bunch of nuts and bolts and thought that was a socket it's not oh yeah first time I ran in five years all right keep not gonna keep all right just think there's tools in here I hear something I hear more that yuck water [Music] hey there's something in here alright we're not actually in here here so this tests I think it lights up and there's a voltage but there's oh those under that guy so this if you ground this and then test and if you have a place between high voltage and ground there's going to be a path for current and this thing will light up let's jump drawer type stuff that I think I would want different with the wireless yeah the rest that stuff just scrap this is garbage alright what else do we have here some type of ranch that scrap Hammond they'll hunk of brass right there let's pray a pound that's a dollar right there scrap but it's definitely used you see because it's pitted I'll bet it doesn't work it off but that's definitely capable in scrap what else you got here ah that's for tapping yeah so let's say you have a stripped bolt you can this is a much harder steel and that steel will cut threads into your bolt that's very good part of a tap and I set it staples staples that go to that gun okay where are you going what is this write it for tap and tapping no clue scrap definitely keep [Music] trash buckets getting full yeah you know two hoses so that's closed and that's open cuz it goes along with this more for tap and die a little piece of brass scrappage Bostitch staples yes this guy he's come in handy definitely alright you guys see anything else of interest and II definitely han't even has a little ground right there that's cool that a glue gun it's an old school it's broken definitely kept and died no clue but it's probably a tool of some sort scrap that's old school right there so basically you push it and it spins for you so one of those funky little hand tools yeah super small tap and die all right cool this is a voltmeter sure if it works I can always test it so today if there's so let's say AC often curtain which is in your house 120 volts or if there's a 240 this will light up ideal they're actually from this area majority of stuff is made right here in DeKalb County ideal tool base goes this is brass brass with rust no it's W magnetic but it's cool little hammer straight to a lightbulb really that's old-school hey I need a light over here let's plug it in go light alright slow this stuff back up take my keep life put it there throw in my trash and hit the scrap yard okay so I took the aluminum off and a couple other things I'm gonna keep that bears Cup and this kind of a Swiss Army knife looking thing yeah it's probably it's like a Swiss Army knife I doubt if it is only in dekalb driving down the road it's all good dekalb iron and metal company good stuff kaitland all right I see four thousand forty pounds yes [Music] Dadda man yeah and it's muddy [Music] yeah here's my idling right here must pull up a little bit it's not quite as loud all right so I dropped off that aluminum and other stuff at my house and it's $100 in that ton so it was 300 pounds and so half of 300 is a half a 30 is 15 15 bucks or again it's been one hour since I left I'm sorry two hours since I left my house you probably didn't catch that person drove really fast in the parking lot here anyway 15 bucks I'll take it I'm excited about it and yeah I got a bunch of tools and things thanks God you are good god I'm just gonna ask that that we just rest in you you know we got life's problems we have drama in our lives we have just issues and things god I'm just gonna hand them to you I'm gonna ask the gear Angels just clear the path that we don't have to struggle and pine and claw our way into making things happen that that you give us that drive to make things happen and that you clear the path thank you for your son that we are in [Music]
