Found Gun Underwater in River While Scuba Diving! (WRBL News Interview)

[Music] hey what's up guys Jake here today I'm out the river located in Columbus Georgia and today we're gonna be scuba diving for lost river treasures if you guys are new I love coming down to the river to look for lost items Raptors kayakers and even fishermen may have lost while coming down to the river to enjoy their day so last time I came out here actually found some insane I actually found an old gun I love coming down here to look for River treasure because you have no idea what you can come across man but most of the time you do just find a bunch of fishing lures but on special occasions you do come across some insane stuff just like that gun I found this has been insane man we've come across so many guns lately that even our news station wants to do an interview so we're actually about to do an interview and talk about all the guns we found and that's gonna go live today for weapons are now in the hands of law enforcement after being recovered from the Chattahoochee River those four guns were found in the last three weeks by a local dive team that made the discovery so it always starts as a deep dive for treasure sometimes ends up bringing potential evidence to the surface there's so many opportunities with the river to find guns GoPros and phones and you never know what you're gonna find each dive so it's super crazy your weapons in three weeks these professional YouTube personalities say they'll continue to dive and search the river when we first started finding them we were like okay well getting back to the police this is the right thing to do and then you know it just kind of dawned on us that you know somebody could potentially be getting closure or there could be some real help with finding a firearm in a passion they started for fun they now volunteered to dive when needed we don't take it lightly we really really do like helping and this is a big way we can do that according to the divers the Columbus Police Department's first steps when receiving the recovered guns is running the serial number from there the weapon is either destroyed or kept in evidence so before we get out there and start scuba diving I wanna let you real gun I don't know but it looks like a real gun and I found it right in front of the bridge and it looks like it's been there for many many many years if there any chances the ryokan what are you what is happening bro see I like it has a little air ya know and it says it says BB Cal and they look like just a pain killer gun it does know when you pulled it out as I my face is a light that's why I had to record you guys I was like yes I gotta get your first reaction I can't tell you guys how I feel right now like when I first found it I was thrilled I would feel hard bro my heart was just beating and I was like oh my gosh I found another gun and this one's freaking huge like this is crazy I showed some raft guides and sure enough he's like yeah that's a BB gun Jake you know when you look at this weapon I was just thinking the worst this is potentially a murder weapon like there's a reason why this is in the river it looks crazy the biggest gun I've ever found in my entire life the adrenaline you get when you find a gun is just so crazy man and it's a little bit of a letdown that it's not that but the plus side I can keep this in my collection I could put it on my wall or
