wars and the reason why i know that because certain homeboy of mine called me up the other day and we was talking and then we got on the subject of youtube and he was just like man i i appreciate you for not doing those food wars anymore he was like because man every time i watch one man you ruin a restaurant or one of my favorite restaurants or one of my go-to so but that being said here we are with another food wars that's the type of homeboy i am man i can't help it that's the name of homie i am so shout out to you bro i got you you said you didn't want him so here you are and uh but in all actuality it's messing up one of my spots you know what i'm saying not so much today but back in the dado dominoes bro dominoes for me at the time when i was a struggling college kid was everything bro i had three homeboys that i went to uh school with right and uh all three of them worked at domino's so struggling college kid with three homeboys who work at dominoes what does that equal well when you showed up at my house it equals a stockpile of domino boxes of trash from where we just constantly ate dominoes bro now thinking back on that probably wasn't the healthiest thing at all to be doing but hey man you had to eat how you had to eat back then it is what it is bro i mean man i tell you one story bro where i might have told y'all this man before but if if i didn't here it goes um we used to go kick it do all kind of stuff man but one day we ended up back in my homeboy house all of us and we was we were sitting there and was playing a video game and we was just all just mad starving bro and it's probably about two o'clock three o'clock in the morning right so uh one of them was like man y'all want dominoes i'm like god he must be true he got to be drunk so i keep playing the video game he got me drunk he's like man let's go open dominoes up so i was like okay let's do it thinking back now man we all went to jail bro we could have all went to jail but yes we did proceed to go there open the store up they had keys open the store up turn the ovens on turn up man and commence the making whatever it is we wanted to make bro oh my gosh that was terrible fam i don't encourage anybody to do that we could have all been in jail when we think about it bro but we weren't thinking all we know is we were some starving uh uh dominoes uh starving college kids with people who worked at dominoes and man amount of food that was given out of that place because the owner she was terrible she was terrible the reason why a lot of people was doing stuff up there is because she was jipping them on they pay so they figured they'd get it back out of food i just happened to be friend of a friend that was a beneficiary of that but anyway man so needless to say without saying all of that was man i ate a lot of dominoes bro so this is probably gonna mess me up too in this food war so here we are us versus uk domino's full wars let's go from calorie count to portion sizes we wanted to find out all the differences between domino's pizza in the uk and the us well if we judging by the box right off rip it looks like the uk gonna get us bro in every category they're gonna win it looks like look at the look at the proportion of the box bro size proportion that's crazy this is food wars this is the smallest pizza you can get in the uk it's called an individual and it measures 7 inches across our smallest is believe it or not the small here it is and it measures in diameter 10 inches the next size up is a small which measures 9.5 inches next size up for the us is our medium which is 12 inches [Music] this is 11.5 inches [Music] one star hey i grabbed the slice i'm starving this pizza smells so good let's get breakfast [Music] next picture next up for the us is our large which is a 14 inch diameter oh hell yeah we ever smell dominoes coming right out of the oven bro oh my gosh there's no way you can resist it man what's with the way they cut your large pizza harry it's ridiculous look at that and not to be outdone the u.s has one more size the extra-large of course we do of course why would we stop at largest no no diameter 16 inches bro look at the size of this thing so 2.5 inches now listen i'm speaking to the fellas right now because you know ladies be watching their figures but man it was one point in your life i know it was i'm speaking to your soul right now it was one time in your life when you can crush that entire box of pizza tell me i'm lying you can't you cannot you can't tell me i'm lying yo man i used to be able to crush an entire piece of myself bro yeah i mean like my my blood was probably thickest gravy but for me being able to do that fam blood pressure was probably terrible too but yeah man it was one point in time in my life where i can't do it now one slice maybe two would do me now i'm done but back then oh yeah one box was for me this difference might not sound like a lot but if you factor that into the surface area it's actually 58 square inches wider than the uk's largest pizza which is almost a third of an increase am i looking at this right is it supposed to be six slices it's six slices that can't be right six slices for a extra large pizza look at the size of these slices [Music] in the u.s at a domino's the extra-large pizza will cost you a very reasonable 13.99 is 201 square inches which breaks down to roughly 7 cents an inch nice now shockingly 13.99 will only get you a small pizza in the uk a small pizza is 9.5 inches across and that gives it a surface area of 71 square inches now if you divide the 13.69 price tag by the 71 you find out that you're actually paying 19 cents per square inch what 19 cents and i guarantee you're still hungry look at that they look like one of them like personal pan pizzas that you get from like pizza hut remember getting one of those personal pan pieces or winning that from like reading in school back in the day or something like that y'all remember that huh what was that used to be called i don't know because i didn't do a whole bunch of reading but i remember kids winning it i wasn't one of those kids no i might have won it once but i didn't really do much for reading no anyway ultimately it means that if you went into a us and uk dominoes with 13.99 to spend you'd be able to get more than double the pizza for your money in the u.s store yeah that's what this is what i'm afraid of right here here we go let's compare large cheese pizzas in the two countries this is what a uk large cheese looks like and this is what a large properly cut domino's cheese pizza looks like in the u.s it's cut into 10 pieces and each slice contains 176 calories that means that in total the pizza in the uk is 1760 calories instead of 10 we got 8 slices that means each slice is roughly 280 calories which makes the whole pizza 2 240 calories and according to the thing that was written for me that is almost 480 calories more than the uk large but why is that exactly let's see if we can get any clues from the ingredients prepare yourselves especially us in the us prepare ourselves for these ingredients i'm pretty sure it's going to be disgustingly nasty what we're about to hear we're probably in taking let's start with the foundation of any pizza which is the dough in the uk the dough is made of wheat flour a wheat and milk pre-mix rapeseed oil water and yeast yes but here in the u.s our dough is made of enriched flour we oh god i hate reading this stuff enriched flour which is wheat flour iron thiamine mono nitrate niacin riboflavin and folic acid niacin all right i've heard of niacin but nice inexperience i've had or so i've heard about was people or you taking niacin when you might have had you know some marijuana in your system or something like that you've had that you take the niacin to clean out your system and it it'll give you you know what i mean undetectable urine that way you can go possibly take a urine analysis so i've heard about niacin you know what i mean you could pick that up i like your local drugstore or something like that you know so niacin only thing about niacin i remember man is you have to drink a lot of water or feel like the top of your scalp is burning off if you take it and not drink a lot of water man so i've heard all right water soybean oil and it contains less than two percent of the following sugar salt whey maltodextrin dextrose joe conditioners such as sodium sterile lexa lactolate i don't know it's on the screen you read it out loud enzymes calcium sulfate absorbic acid calcium phosphate l-cysteine good for hangovers i hear yeast and cornmeal uh yeah much different a lot more chemicals who saw that coming [Laughter] how about the cheese domino's in the uk refers to its cheese simply as mozzarella and it's mostly because the ingredients are just that in the u.s domino's doesn't possibly can't call their cheese mozzarella instead they refer to it as pizza cheese so the domino's in the us's pizza cheese has the following ingredients part skimmed mozzarella cheese okay pat which is pasteurized milk cultures salt enzymes modified food starch cellulose cellulose non-fat milk whey protein concentrate natural flavors and sodium proportion now let's look at the pepperoni most of the ingredients in u.s and uk pepperoni are actually pretty similar they both contain pork salt dextrose spices sodium nitrite citric acid flavorings and starter culture you know the only difference is that our pepperoni contains beef also preservatives butyhydrate hydrolazines and buddha hodlin blah blah bha and bht i can't pronounce them use they're bad it turns out bha and bht are actually subject to restrictions in the european union and can't be added to foods such as pepperoni this might why am i not going to want to hear this ah i don't want to hear this why am i not going to want to hear this because studies have shown that vha can cause tumors in rats and is therefore reasonably anticipated to be a carcinogen in humans they're killing us they're killing us they're killing us and putting it in our food and letting us just hey enjoy killing us oh my gosh and is therefore reasonably anticipated to be a carcinogen in humans oh well i'm gonna die doing what i love eating banned chemicals we reached out to domino's to get some clarity on the pepperoni situation we got our info from their ingredients webpage however when we checked with them they told us that their information was incorrect and they've updated it since to say that bha and bht have now been removed from the pepperoni i think this happened at some point during 2018 they couldn't say exactly when but joe it sounds like you're okay after all you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you except for pre 2018 all the pizza we ate oh my gosh bro man sucks for us don't it [Music] and imagine the ones of us who ordered extra pepperoni with extra cheese on everything i was that guy oh let me get extra cheese let me get extra pepperoni yup just extra killing myself is what i did [Music] oh let's talk about it yeah i used to get back in the day chicken kickers uh uh uh cinestix uh uh the wings yeah here are all the items you can only find on the menu at the uk dominoes and here are all the things you can only get at a us dominoes let's start with the pizza itself so firstly it's the crust options now in the uk we can actually get stuffed crust but what we've gone for here is the italian style crust apologies to the country of italy for this one now the italian crust is basically the same dough but just thinner and therefore a bit more crispy there are a few toppings that you can is that corn on a pizza are getting disrespectful only get all your pizza in the uk these include some options we've got here like meatballs sweet corn and red onion so that's y'all about the piss me up man listen bro if y'all don't get out of here with your corn barbecue sauce heaven uh mayonnaise uh uh whatever it is spinach artichoke whatever it is you think of putting on your pizza bro keep it traditional man all this extraness man stop ruining a classic that's not all you can also get things like catalan chicken which is a chicken and a kind of paprika spice you can get tandoori chicken which is chicken with some indian spice blends and you can also get tuna on your pizza whoa wait did he say tuna tuna on a pizza no no way so this right here is a pizza of the hat why whoever thought of combining the two oh i want tuna oh i want pizza you know what tuna pizza no no stop jeez as everything you can only get at a us dominoes first of all the crust it is our thin brooklyn style crust instead of tomato sauce we did an alfredo white sauce we got banana peppers on here salami feta cheese and also parmesan and cheddar this should be known as the us only like pizza hut should have this on the menu you go give me the u.s only and this is the pizza they give you yuck you don't get this [Laughter] yeah i hate that i could grab a slice see what you think so here are some uk sides that you won't find on the menu at a us dominoes first of all we've got the garlic cheesy bread chicken kickers which are just like nuggets with a spicy coating pretty recently they've added these popping chicken bites to the menu which are kind of similar to kfc's popcorn chicken you can also get chicken strippers which is just kind of like chicken tenders potato wedges if you wanted some kind of potato option to go with your pizza and then you can also get a tub of coleslaw i don't think we have garlic cheesy bread but we do have this which is like a stuffed cheese bread also the side they have these uh chicken pieces and then these right over here these parmesan cheese kind of bread nuts also i think it's pretty cool the dominoes will hook you up with a side of grated parmesan that's pretty nice chicken carbonaro which is a pasta dish what looks like obviously chicken bits of bacon onion in the u.s domino's offers a lot of different varieties of sandwiches get the italian i forgot about the sandwiches yeah man i can't can't leave the sandwiches off get the italian telly bro yeah yeah you're about to make me hit dominoes up man um i just picked one i got the chicken parm sandwich let's take a look at that right there look at that chicken parm how good does that look classic garden salad we found something green on the menu which is call me weird but i'm not a chicken parmesan kind of guy man i can't even i think i might have ate it once in my life and i don't even think i ate it like all the way i think i tried it that one time and i really wasn't feeling it so it maybe was the person that cooked it probably wasn't the best at it so if y'all know some good places to get like some chicken parm where i can actually try it let me know and don't say olive garden because i've given up on olive garden man they're a tradition trash trash i'm getting up on our garden man so don't say them just nice um okay tomatoes onions cheese lettuce croutons who cares now the default dipping sauce that will come with your pizzas is this garlic and herb dip in the uk there are also a couple of sauces which are exclusive to the uk these include a little pot of frank's red hot sauce and we can also get a honey mustard the dominoes in the u.s has their own exclusive sauces uh this kicker hot sauce um the sweet mango habanero sauce this one is really good uh ranch you guys don't have ranch thought you did guess not blue cheese dressing and of course marinara sauce and finally if you're someone with a sweet tooth domino's has some exclusive dessert items to the uk firstly we've got domino's cookies which are actually like really good especially if you get them when they're warm and they kind of stay warm when they rest on the pizza boxes and then you can also get a range of ben jerry's flavors from domino's in the uk they're like a licensed fender which is cool and for dessert in the us you can get either these marbled cookie brownies or these chocolate lava crunch cakes uh they also they sure don't make it easy for you not to be fat around here do they like oh my gosh threw in this the sweet icing i'm sure it's amazing so you can pour more sugar all over the sugar let's put some icing on the lava guy oh that's too much stop i gotta get i gotta i gotta get this i'm gonna like eat this whole tray i gotta get out of my face i'm ready to destroy these brownies man listen whatever y'all order man just make sure y'all save me a plate all right after this you should want to run and go eat healthy eld i'm trying to save us man us you see i said us i'm including myself bro but if you do get dominoes as
