FLYING A FIGHTER JET IN VIRTUAL REALITY - VTOL VR

[Music] hey guys drew ski here and today we are checking out VTOL VR this is not your standard plane simulation game this is fully built for a virtual reality headset which means it's a simulation sort of game but also it's simplified so that when using a VR headset every single control in your aircraft actually does something and this is kind of cool coming from DCs and learning some of the planes in there if you hop in one of these jets you'll understand immediately what's going on and be able to start the aircraft really quick it's really really cool so I want to show you guys some gameplay today so enjoy that is so cool okay so I think all we do is all we do is accelerate and then it launches us so let's go afterburner sure Oh oh man that's cool yeah that's pretty cool I'm okay with that dang look at that look at this scene this is so cool I mean like I would have never imagined this is what gaming would be like in 2018 when I used to play like what I used to play uh man Ace Combat shattered skies on the ps2 can I get the theme of Ace Combat shattered skies playing right now and just dude yes this is what I'm about right here this is what I'm about actual moving ships there's even a wake behind the ships like like you have to actually land on a moving aircraft carrier how cool is that it just said that this is a very very tough mission so I'm guessing when a dialog we got something over there styles over there so we'll go in we'll go into the island and then we'll push up like that let's see where we go from there sorry microphone let me move you for a second microphone is right here oh wait whoa we just found something all right yeah I just locked on really quick to whatever that is it's like little a guns or something I'm not really sure okay we got bogeys to the left I hope these guys will be able to help me with them I can I can focus on the ground targets I think if I can figure this AGM out correctly I've also got GPUs I could launch on to them there we go okay okay I don't know more a GM's no I don't I have a gvo though I could drop a GPU on them I'm gonna try to get away because these bogies are all over me actually as a missile coming - how do we drop a bomb this isn't good oh yeah this isn't working I'm gonna go into valleys I don't know how the GB works oh yeah it's like a huge missile system thing okay there's one more coming after me oh that's fun that's exciting I've got a hit with guns I guess I don't know how to use the bombs come on come on oh gosh hello [Music] oh that one was close what is that right there is that another I don't know what that is where from where from oh man that was so cool that was so cool alright yeah this time we're definitely going to try to kill a little bit more of those ground targets because I think that was the main problem fry guys up in the air this those a guns with their a missiles because those a missiles are a lot better than the ones that the aircraft have I think at least ok so one of the AA's is on the opposite side of the city yeah that's it ok probably got a missile coming at me Hey hey guys hope you like my GM's man okay oh there's something where did that come from oh that came from like a building all right see you now all right we're going in for it got one AGM left Oh looks like he's looking at me too ok-hee fire think he fired yep he did dive dive dive dive dive dive dive dive faster yes we made it Jessie there way over there oh no oh my gosh that was coming for me the whole time oh my gosh let's see the hits come on come on no so close okay that should get him nice heck yeah sorry microphone so yeah it's gonna be on me whoa whoo it's our lunch yeah I've gotta gonna dive you're gonna dive and get out of here cuz there's a hole on top gosh they keep paying me we ran out of juice I ran out of juice I ran out of fuel that missile we can get away we can out speed the missiles if we just go fast oh gosh oh my gosh it's still being hit with missiles or guns oh no oh my gosh this is such a cool game where where where where where where where is it oh there it is okay hello okay I ran that one out of feel sweet oh wow oh gosh we got a turn we got a turn I think that was the coolest game okay so there's anything I need to turn on I think I'm good on everything right now oh come on no this land just land there we go whoa I did it I landed the semi-realistic plane wait a second can I Drive my plane into this oh my gosh I'm driving my plane into this yeah I'm gonna take off in this tunnel that's something to do I'm gonna take off in this town and then we'll fly through the tunnel a little bit have some fun oh my gosh oh my gosh there's a start box whoa oh man okay oh yeah that was cool okay let's go back and do that again that was kind of uh wow that's kind of spoopy oh man who oh my gosh we made it we made it ha ha yeah oh my gosh it's so dark I can't see that was not a good idea to do when I'm inside the tunnel heck yeah wait there's another tunnel right there let's try to go in that one instead that one looks like it could be longer we could shoot a little bit slower Souls down oh man this is oh gosh we're good whoo yes [Music] I'm perfectly fine everything's okay everything's perfectly normal here oh my gosh oh that's a cliff oh man and just look around the cockpit when you're in there oh my gosh and then and then here's my two hands oh wow there's right yeah there's my two hands and you can click on the triggers to close your hands and move little buttons around so like see the see the buttons in front of you on the on the dashboard you can click every single one of them that's what I'm doing right now I beginning what am i in here yeah yeah you're in the same plane oh this is what they really look like kinda they're a little bit more complex but oh look that go up yeah holy cow yeah so what I'm there's the simpler okay okay got it alright so I wonder why you kept pulling me that way it was okay so with your right hand with that grip button that's over here feel that yeah oh you're grabbing the joystick right now actually so you can hold that and you can grab the joystick and fly around with it I cannot even tell where I am oh look like look the gate right yeah that needs to be whoa too much your 5000 meters about the ocean so your your clear that food air thanks one read here cuz you're pulling Julie we pull up you're reading out let me let me get you has spin oh gosh one say because you got to think of it as a joystick you can't move your hand too far yeah so there you go okay yeah look behind you dad look behind you in the sea oh whoa whoa whoa you can let go this is like other joystick yeah that's what I sure that oh wow look coming out of the exhaust yeah missile yeah you wish so much shooting at me maybe just look around to your right oh yeah yep there's a dogfight happening up my right path yes yeah oh there's some that's him right there right there yeah that's him yeah he's got a red thread parentheses around coming up yeah he's a bad guy you're gonna have to dodge the missile dad grab your joystick Oh [Laughter] [Music] [Music]
