Flaky Jamaican Patty Crust 🇯🇲 (Dough)

[Music] hi guys welcome back to the channel so today we're going to be making flaky Jamaican patty crust so here I have some ice-cold water some cold butter that's been cut to small pieces I have a vegetable bullion some powdered seasonings which is turmeric and curry combined and I have my other dry ingredients flour salt and some sugar so let's get started first thing we're gonna do is add the spices and then give that a good stir so everything is evenly combined okay next I'm going to add the vegetable bullion because that I have to crumble so I'm just gonna take the bullion and crumble it into small pieces here you want to get out any little lumps next we're gonna add the cold pieces of butter now we're going to use our clean hands to work in the butter into the flour [Music] [Music] okay guys now we have the butter combined with the flour and we're going to add the cold water add the water slowly because it's sometimes hard to say exactly how much I just add it I see [Music] alright so now I'm going to go in with my hands to combine this [Music] you we don't want to knead the dough too much we're just combining beer again now I'm going to place it in refrigerator for about 15 years [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
