FiveM | UPDATED ReShade TUTORIAL 2024 (Crosshair + Presets GUIDE)

what's good YouTube you already know zeyer also known as SpongeBob back at again with another video and in today's video I'm going to be showing you guys how to install Reade right now for most of you guys reshade is currently not working and now you got to do a couple extra steps just to actually make it work and do its magic so that's what this video is actually going to go over and I also be teaching you guys how to install crosshairs and then also reshade uh plugins and so you make your game nice and beautiful before we get into the video I'm just going to tell you guys this right now as always just make sure to leave and like And subscribe it's all I'm asking for it's the only that's going to keep me motivated to be making these types of content for you guys get no money or ad revenue or just anything making these videos other than just helping out with the community so yeah if you can just you do that for me it's perfect that's all I'm asking for but I'm going quit my apping we just get straight into the video okay so the first thing you guys want to do is go to the link in the description and download the older version of Reade that's the only oldest and latest uh version of Reade that's going to be working for you guys so that's what you guys need to do just go ahead and install that there going to be reshade setup 5.8.0 once you install that just double click on it you just minimize B Explorer doesn't really matter press browse and then instead of um instead of relocating where your GTA is you want to find where your 5m is click on 5m press open and then click next press direct x 10 11 and 12 this is optional if you would want a preferred preset like a you can select where you want your presets to be installed that's optional just click next doesn't really matter press uncheck then check all and then click next and then after it's done installing all the that it needs it's going to pop up successfully installs res shade just click finish now what you're going want to do is not open 5m cuz I'm an absolute buffoon lagery I don't know what the I was thinking anyways after you're done installing reshade what you're going to do is come here you want to find where your fm is you're going to want to right click on it and then press open file location and then you're going to see all this other right here just click Windows e it's going to open up another file explorer like this what you're going to want to do is come up here to where this little bar is I want to click on it it's going to highlight all this crap do contrl c to copy come over here click on this bar and then do contrl V and that's going to paste it and then press enter so the reason why you're making two of these is because one you're going to want to relocate these six files and put them into your plugins so I'm just going to do it with the right one go to Five application data go to plugins these bottom four right here just drag them in these top two right here drag them right in here too all you're going to want to do you can close out of them now I'm probably not going to close out of this one just in case I'm forgetting a step but yeah so once you've opened up 5m obviously you're going to tell you don't see the rade up here and you start clicking home it's not going to pop up so so what you're going to want to do is Click f8 scroll up and you're going to find something that says add-ons reshade 5 equals ID and then it's going to tell you an ID this is different for everyone it's not going to be the same so if you try copying mine it's not going to work it's different for everyone's what you're going to want to do is come here to open log going to open the log here let me just switch this real quick going to open the log what you're going to want to do is just scroll down just start scrolling and you can just find this real quickly it's going to say add-ons reshade all this other crap you don't really want to be copying any of that so just copy this and then this folder that I already have opened cuz I knew I was going to forget something I'm just going to click on five application day it's going to back me out you're going to want to go to Citizen effects you're want to go here hold shift and then press enter two times so it makes a space in between these do contrl + V and then then what you're going to want to do is go back to this uh citizen effects log that you've opened you want to go here just copy this put it on top of this and make sure it's like this has to exactly has to be like this otherwise it will not work after you're done doing that just click file save you just close out of it close out this right here you don't be needing this anymore more just close out of it and then after that just open up 5 them and then we're going to see as you guys can tell by this it says reshade is now installed successfully press home to start the tutorial now is when you press home it's actually going to pop up if you want to do the if you want to do the tutorial you can but you just press Skip and then you have all this other right here so now I'm going to be teaching you guys how to get crosshairs and a Reade plugin again make your game nice and beautiful what you're going to want to do is go into the L description join sins leaks Discord server or just type in do gg/ sleeks and what you're going to want to do is you're want to come down here to reshave there's going to be nothing in there okay that's better now we actually I actually put in my own preset that you guys can be using which I'm going to show in this video if you guys do not like it you can find a different one or you can create your own using the reshade menu there's only matter what you're going to want to do is download it which I'm not going to do cuz I already have this downloaded right click on five them again on file location double click on here go to plugins C on Reade shaders not Reade shaders sorry sorry sorry sorry and just drag it in here for your Crosshair what the was even that okay for your Crosshair go back into the Discord server want to go to crosshairs and just choose a random Crosshair that you might like I'm going to choose this nice dark blue one right [Music] here now Windows e create another one of these go to download see where this blue dot we want to rename it to layer not Layer Two I'm not too sure why it's making me do Layer Two that's why this is's another one called [Music] layer yeah yeah bro are you kidding me to not lay her don't lay her whatever you do don't lay her layer reshade textures and then drag this in replace the file destination and just close out both of these and then just go straight into 5 okay so once you've loaded up into 5m just click on home it's going to pop up with this at the top where says reshape preset just want to click on my preset right here do select and then boom nice and beautiful now for the Crosshair you just want to click on layer right here and then boom you got your Crosshair right here make sure this is 500 and 500 otherwise it's going to be off it completely off its axis right here so make sure it's on that and just copy all these settings if you guys need to just these personal settings right here and that's going to be it HP into an RZ so as you guys can tell when I've loaded up into this you can tell that my game is now a lot more vibrant and I also got my Crosshair but yeah that's basically how you get re that's how you get a reshape plugin and your own custom cross here you guys enjoyed this video like I said like I
