FiveM Reshade Downgrade To Version 5.8.0 (Easy Fix)

in the new versions of 5m in reshade you are no longer able to use the reshade 5.9 version so if you try to do it then press f8 then it says you need to download the older version 5.8 but how do you do that well I will show you how you can do that and replace the old files with the new ones so you will play 5m so what we're gonna do is open up our Google and here I have a link in the description and it's the reset download for the 5.8.0 so if you go ahead and click on the link and click on enter that should appear a download and this download is from the reshade guide itself so you can verify that it's free shaded me slash downloads and then you need to open the download so either click here or go to your downloads on your file explorer and open the setup right here what we're now going to do is search for our GTA so either search GTA right here and otherwise you will have to find it in your steam or epic games so then click on next here use Microsoft DirectX 10 11 or 12 and then instead of update Orange install we're going to click on modify so click on next here you can click on Skip and uncheck all and then check all so everyone is selected then click on next and now it will modify all the files so what this will do is remove the old files of the reshade and now download the new files and upload it to them so when you click on finish then we can go to our files so either press Windows r or search right here and then search for percent app data percentage so click on this folder and now click on app data right here so you will see local click on local and here is 5m so click on 5m and then click on 5m application data now here you have the plugins and this is where your reshade file should be so in your case there are either old files or it's empty so just delete the old files that you have and now open where your GTA is located if you have steam installed go to your library go to GTA manage browse local files and then your file explorer should open with GTA if you're using epic games then open up epic games launcher go to your library and then look for your GTA let's say this game is GTA then click on this three dots right here go to manage and then go to this folder right here click on it and your photo should appear so when you have your GTA ready what you will need to do is copy the following so click on reset shaders then hold down Ctrl click on this dxge.dll then scroll down then hold down Ctrl click on reset.ini and then reset preset you show the four files and then click on copy here or press Ctrl C now go right here click on paste or press Ctrl key now it should copy these items into the 5m files and now you can close down everything so when you've done that please open up ifm and now you should already see that reset 5.8.0 so you shouldn't update it this is the only version that works right now if you now press f8 in the console you don't have any errors alright so when it's installed successfully you can press the home button to start a tutorial so here you can skip the tutorial starter control and then you can use 5m with the region options how you would like to do it so I hope this fixed your problem and I'd say thank you for watching please like And subscribe
