How To Download Discord On ANY Chromebook

hello and let me show you how you can install Discord on any Chromebook so here's what we can do I'll show you two different methods first to the Play store and then with the Linux environment so first of all of course we can download the Android app which if we go to our Play Store we just search for Discord right here then we can download this Discord app this will be the Android app as you using your phone now of course this comes with limitations such as sharing your screen just how fast it is so if if you would like to download the desktop version then I'll show you how you can do that in order to download this we can't just download it normally on a Chromebook we have to use Linux and it's pretty easy to do let me just show you so we'll have to go to the settings of our Chromebook then right here you should go to Advanced and there should be this thing called developers Linux developer environment click on turn on then click on next username can be anything dis size 10 GB is enough you don't really need that much so you can leave it with that click on install and it will now install Linux as it says it this may take a few minutes so just wait three or four minutes max if anything like this opens up don't get scared just close it down real quick and I will show you how can do that so now we're going to start up our Linux so just go right here and search for terminal terminal like this open it up and then click on this little penguin right here it's called penguin click on it and this should be the right one okay now keep this open and go to your Google right here search for Discord download and then you have discord.com and there should be this thing which is get Discord download for Linux then click on the dab file so click on it it should now be installed go to your file section go to your download section and right here you should have discord. P.D right click on it click copy go to Linux files right here click paste like this and you should have pasted the file here after you've successfully pasted the file right here then click right click on it go to rename then make sure to select every single thing press contrl a press contrl C and then go back to the document now right here replace the version that I have right here with the version that you have installed so it will look like this and like this so then copy the first line which is this pseudo dpk we will basically now install the package now all you have to do in order to past is press right Mouse button like this press on enter and it will now install if it says error missing a package or it doesn't work then what you'll have to do is the following command so basically just copy this right here sudo upcat install install. F now basically paste it in once again by right clicking press on enter then it will say do you want to continue yes or no you say yes press on enter and it will now install everything needed in order to download Discord once again if it didn't install the last time then we're going to try again so copy this right here contrl C then paste it right here press on enter okay so you should now have this app called Discord on your Chromebook so as you can see here I have Discord it's in my Linux app right here or it's also here and let me just uh load it up for you guys to show that it works here it is I now have Discord the same way as if I would be on my PC or on my laptop if this helped you I'd say thanks for watching please like And subscribe
