Fishing a MASSIVE Spillway (the Kinzua Dam)!

nerdy folks well here we are on the Kim to a damn here's a bunch of cars circling down there by people feeding them bread and whatnot you have to catch a big this year always school big carp there third one anyway where we're going to be fishing later is down here I could be wrong comes the wet so correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the kids with them is like the biggest dam in the Northeast and thought this must be like the biggest snow in the Northeast I'd only live about an hour away I don't know why I haven't actually fished it yet but we're going to fish it today and see what we can catch the kind of sucks the great where I'm standing right now on top of the dam this spots only about 40 minutes from my house but we get down below the spillway where the fishing is that's an hour ride it's 20 minutes to get from here to down there with those guys are fishing which kind of thought we should just run across the dam and run down the hill but sure I could but not legal so we're going to drive another 20 minutes get down below the lake do we catch me up about two and a half hours before dark I already folks what we made it a guy here a lot it took me a lot longer to get here that was a long crazy freaking road to get here but I suppose it's all worth it this says a reputation for being one of the best fishing spots in the freaking world so I guess it makes the ride worth it wish I had more time to fish here management way too long messing around at that trout stream today hopefully I'll get back here before the summer is over good news is look at the sky right now it's absolutely perfect fishing conditions what's doing catches multi species fishing like I said the sky has a reputation for being one of the best multi species fishing flats in the world well it's just a lot of crazy places got to say this is probably one of the craziest I think I have any weight big enough to handle the person here right now crazy in 300 that was fishing up there right below the dam I decided to come down here where the currents a little bit more manageable on them a little bit better equipped for fishing guys magnify upset they rocks back there fishing the other exercise all right little rock that nuts on the board there are athlete a pretty good size men up go by he's taking me into snags he's dating rock back he's taking me under rack probably had a website stop like my line fish decent can be a while I feels like a walleye okay well I actually not 100% sure what kinds of a needs rules are keeping them make it 15 inches in Pennsylvania help in the start No at fifteen and a half fifteen and a half look up what the rules are keeping in Pennsylvania appreciate 15 will double-check that looks about by pretty sure was fifteen but I confirm that fifteen inches and they're actually allowed to keep six of them so the rules are less stringent than they are in New York on walleye the cool keep in there no no okay I'll explain it I thought I had an on the wall I am snag I already folks well we are calling it quit to a crazy day of fishing ignore the absolute mess that is the back of my truck right now and one time it was nice and clean and organized back here just like and didn't seem like it was that long ago anyway guys thanks for watching only caught that one walleye and the rock bass below the dam there this were biting at the end I just kept getting snagged so whatever was biting kept bringing me into snags maybe it was rock bass maybe it was walleye who knows this was just one of the craziest places I've ever fished I'll definitely be back here eventually at some point and hopefully have a different strategy to to catch these fish thanks for watching be sure to subscribe we'll catch you in the next fishing adventure [Music]
