Finally...Gold Paydirt That's Worth It??

[Music] everyone welcome back to another episode of gold prospecting at home this is episode at number 77 and today I have a pay dirt that we're gonna go through completely from a company that's been requested more than any other company I can think of the company is called gold Bay and actually I've been in contact with the owner now he doesn't know that I'm purchasing pay dirt from him but he does know that I'm planning to purchase it so I did buy it through a third-party so he has no idea that this bag here actually went to me the reason I do that of course is just in case you know vendor wants to add more gold to my bags of pay dirt for you guys to see to promote more business now the owner Dave here I know he wouldn't do that besides he has a minimum gold amount guarantee so we have nothing to worry about alright so here on the website you can see that he's been selling golden nuggets in pay dirt since 1999 I'm not gonna go over all the details of the website just because it would take forever and I want to get into this bag of pay dirt but I will show you the product that I purchased so he does have a bunch of different things for for sale here you can get gold pay dirts up to like five or six hundred dollars twelve hundred dollars here I'll be honest I didn't really look through everything usually when I buy a bag I'll get like they're you know they're most commonly sold thing and I think that's gonna be their one gram bag here alright so for this one you can see it cost fifty five dollars and fifty cents the shipping is eight dollars the grand total for this would be sixty four dollars and forty-five cents today these prices are gonna change all the time depending on the spot value of gold right here is the most important part of the entire description one gram of gold guaranteed that way you know that for that amount of money sixty four dollars and whatever it was you're guaranteed a gram of gold guaranteed now it might not be 24 karat gold but it's gonna be natural placer gold which can be resold for pretty close to 24 karat value so I got this pay dirt here we're gonna go ahead and take it down to the pan and station will chop it open and we'll take a look at it all right here it is the three pound one gram gold guaranteed hater from Gold Bay let's take a look at it the pan nice alright let's go ahead and rip this open I'll take a closer look at it as you can see here at the top it is not sealed but it is heat sealed above the top it's like fold it over and then heat sealed so even though it's getting through the ziplock there is no breach so that's good alright let's tear it open Oh check that out I can see gold already [Applause] this pay dirt is a little bit damp so we're going to go ahead and squirt that out make sure we don't miss anything do that into a separate pan so we don't wet everything up let's see if we missed any gold that was stuck to the inside of the container nope we're good so it looks like we've got a lot of plus quarter-inch pebbles in here maybe some plus 8-inch stuff so oh wow look at that right away we found a nice flake gold right on top I mean we are guaranteed a full gram that's a pretty thin piece probably doesn't weigh very much but definitely pretty big and since it's damp like this we're going to go ahead and wet classify it just to make sure that in case there's any little pieces of gold stuck to these rocks and stuff it'll wash off and we'll have good clean classification so the way I wet classify is I'll just take the material put it through my custom arbor fabricating kitchen strainer links in the description for all the gear I use in every video just add some water and wash it through Wow take a look at that so this is I just flipped over my first classification and you can see all types of gold flakes in there hopefully you can see that on camera it's all gold right in there awesome alright here we have our plus and minus kitchen strainer but as you can see this now plus kitchen strainer size there's all types of bigger rocks and smaller rocks I don't think it's classified good enough we're gonna go ahead and classify this 2 plus and minus quarter-inch that way it'll be a little bit easier to work okay here we have our plus and minus quarter-inch plus our minus kitchen strainer we're gonna go ahead and pan out the big stuff first because as you can see these things are I mean if one of these was a gold nugget it would weigh like six or seven grams and I'm certain 100% that we're not going to find any gold nuggets in here so we'll knock this out first okay so normally I would bring over crusty rusty and we would do all the panning in there but you can see it's not very deep so we're gonna bring over crusty Rusty's big brother from autozone that's Otto we'll add some water and some jet dry that's just a surfactant to break the surface tension of the water that way any really small gold can't float away all right here we go let's see there's any big gold in here [Applause] yeah there's no gold in there I mean if we did find one piece of gold that was anywhere near that size that would be you know our one gram plus right there okay next I actually want to do the really small stuff I'm gonna do the smallest classification because I know in here there's all kind of big chunky pieces it will save that for last right see if there's any gold in this see how muddy it is and I already cleaned out the water three times still pretty muddy I don't mind when the Peter it's muddy and organic like that no big deal all right let's go ahead and spin this back and see if we got any gold there it is there we got some nice gold all flakes I don't see any flour gold in there some pretty small pieces but yeah I would consider all those nice flakes so I'm gonna grab all that with the snuffer bottle and I'm gonna continue panning this until I don't find any more gold a little more water though there we go oh cool I found a little piece of wire gold that I missed right there it's pretty interesting a couple of these pieces were kind of tricky I got them here on the second try yeah we got everything all right oh there's one piece right there that I missed right there shout out to outdoors inspired Dan heard he got Chris from bogus prospecting pioneer poly and lanky white guys on here somewhere oh there it is right there okay and on to our last size here where I know we're going to find a lot of gold this is our - quarter inch plus kitchen strainer size right here [Music] all right we're getting close to the end I am expecting to see pretty close to a gram of gold here for sixty four bucks men that's almost spot price this last little bit always takes longer because you want to be extra careful as the gold hiding right underneath that there it is I could see the gold I'm gonna stop we're gonna spin it back we're gonna spin it all right let's spin it back and get a close look at it here we go yeah man holy cow that's a chunky piece right there that's a really chunky piece right there we'll get a nice high-definition picture of all this gold here at the end but man we got some nice gold this piece right here is chunky awesome all right let me clean this up we'll pour out what's in the snuffer bottle and put it all together dry it up we'll take it up to those scales we'll weigh it up and we'll get a value on it that's really a good value for what you're paying and what you're getting back I mean that's got to be you know if it's guaranteed one gram or already at 90 percent return on investment but let's go ahead and remove this blacks and I'll try it up and we'll take a closer look at it [Music] [Music] [Music] all right 1.15 7 grams I was not expecting that much usually when somebody guarantees a gram you'll get exactly a gram and I can tell you right now even with 18 carat purity even with 18 carat purity I think we're gonna be pretty close to making our money back right now the gold spot price is sixteen hundred and eighty five dollars per troy ounce and then we'll get the 24 karat value as well forty seven dollars for 18 care of purity and 24 carat purity we got sixty two dollars and sixty eight cents we paid sixty four dollars and fifty cents or something like that I mean that is how is this guy making money I don't know and it's not just me you ask anybody that's got this pay dirt before and it's I mean you can't go wrong with it how is this guy making money I don't understand very cool I mean I'm just blown away by that Dave thanks so much for don't know if he does that on purpose or not but that's a really good way to keep it challenging cuz I mean yeah I could bake it and dry it out and then remove the magnetite but if you take the pay dirt and just pan it out like I did it's gonna be a big challenge I would suggest doing a little bit at a time because there is a lot of black sand that's not easily removed since it's wet anyway if
