Fighter Guide | Dark and Darker (OUTDATED)

what's going on guys it's techno and welcome to my dark and darker fighter guide I'm gonna get right into the perks and skills here you need to be level 15 to get all four of these so the first one we got is weapon Mastery you're gonna unlock all primary and secondary weapons regardless of the class with a 10 physical damage reduction applied to them so not too bad you're going to be able to use bows daggers rapiers bunch of different weapons that you're normally not allowed to use so over here we got combo attack physical attack power temporarily increased by 10 with each successful melee attack within two seconds so the boost on combo attack is going to negate the 10 reduction from weapon Mastery so these perks are very good to use together down here we got defense Mastery this is going to increase your armor rating acquired from armor by 10 so if you come over to my armor it's at 29.4 and let's switch it with adrenaline Spike and now it's at 26.5 so definitely doing a lot to the armor rating and protecting you more the final perk here is Swift and this reduces the base movement speed penalty from Remember by 20 and this is a pretty good perk to use with defense Mastery because it also requires armor okay now heading into the skills down here we got Adrenaline Rush increases your attack speed by 25 for 8 seconds after the duration ends reduces action speed by eight percent and movement speed by four percent for four seconds I would recommend activating this before every fight even PVE it's like a 28 second cooldown so it's a long cooldown but if you're using it on cooldown you should be good and the other skill we got here is second wind recovers half of your HP over 12 seconds additionally Second Wind alleviates the side effects of adrenaline rush so this is going to be good to use when you're low HP or just when you're about to enter a fight alright now we're gonna hop into some Dungeons and I'm going to show you guys how to use the abilities properly and how to utilize your your fighter to get the most out of your class so here I'm chasing a rogue in the goblin caves and there's a centipede right behind me that poisons me and he throws a knife at me so I use my second wind and I'm just showing you guys don't be afraid to use this even if there's a shrine or something near you like it's better to use it and not die than not use it and die so I'm trying to clear this room out and I see there's a Skelly archer in here so I pop my adrenaline rush and smack him a couple times and just showing you don't have to save this ability for only players I run up on a fellow fighter here and I pop my adrenaline rush pretty early and he pops his ability too and he is a different sword than me I think he's using the Army sword and I'm using the Falcon so I'm swinging a little bit slower but I'm doing more damage than him so I win the fight my Archer spotted a group of three over here so I rushed them and got in their face popped adrenaline rush and killed that Archer got hit by that cleric there took him out and then finished the last guy just running away for easy 2v3 if you find yourself dying a lot in melee fights remember to bring protection potions and if you are bringing them remember to drink them because if you drink and the enemy doesn't you'll probably win that fight so another tip for melee is try baiting your enemies attacks out before you get your swings in so you can do this by pretending to run at them and then tapping W or just backing up and then when they swing they'll leave openings and you can get your hits in I made another build just in case you didn't like the first one and this is for shield so the first perk we got is barricade when in defensive stance the defense rating bonus is increased by 15 percent then we got Shield Mastery movement speed is increased by 10 while in a defensive stance and upon successfully blocking an attack the next block is 50 faster so these work really well together and then we got counter attack up here successfully blocking an attack increases your movement speed and attack speed by 10 for 3 seconds then we got projectile resistance reduces damage taken from projectiles by 10 and I thought this would complete the build so down here we got some skills we got perfect block the next defense completely block any attack and then we got Shield slam and Flix 25 physical damage on the player and reduces movement speed of the hit Target by 20 for two seconds I got a couple clips of me using the shield build here I like the bash but I wasn't using the block as much oh okay I've got one final build for you guys and I call this one the Rogue fighter so we have dual wield equipping weapons in both hands increases attack speed by 15 percent then we got adrenaline Spike when the Fighter's Health reaches below 15 they become flooded with adrenaline and gain 15 action speed then we got Slayer cannot equip plate armor but gains five weapon damage bonus when holding a weapon in each hand so that goes well with dual wield and then we got combo attack physical attack power temporarily increases 10 with each successful melee attack within two seconds and for the skills we got Victory strike the next attack deals an additional 20 weapon damage if the target dies from this attack you recover five percent of your maximum HP and Sprint movement speed is greatly increased for six seconds so you can run away I got a couple more Clips on the Rogue fighter class I like the victory strike a lot for the extra HP but the Sprint was helping a lot more thank you [Music] [Music] let's head into the merchants now I'm gonna go to the weaponsmith he's got a bunch of cheap weapons in here we got the arming sword for eight and the Falcon I would recommend the Falcon over it and we got the rondelle dagger in here and the Castilian dagger these are also good options very cheap short sword for 11 Morning Star there's sometimes a Morning Star in here for 11 and I would recommend that for sure let's see the armorer so he's got a bunch of items in here that are worth like nine gold so Barbuda Helm nine gold plate boots nine gold Kettle hat eight gold plate pants 12 gold armit 20 gold dark plate armor 13 gold yeah so you could get like a full set in here for about like 50 gold which is pretty good and then maybe 60 plus a shield if you have the perk weapon Mastery equipped you could head over to The Woodsman and he saw some crossbows here he only has one for me right now but he usually sells like two other ones he's got a long bow in here bolts arrows campfire kit in here for 24 gold six gold for a hatchet some pretty good stuff from The Woodsman some typical loot I would bring into the goblin caves is a low-level melee such as the hatchet flange mace or Viking sword I'm gonna grab the Viking sword and grab a bandage a healing potion and a potion of protection and this should be all you really need so if I was running trios this is probably what I would take instead I'm gonna put on the arm it I'm gonna put on plate pants dark Blade armor plate boots and heavy gauntlet and then I'm going to grab this arming sword I'm going to grab this Shield um and I'm gonna grab a campfire kit and then I'm gonna grab two healing potions a potion of protection and a bandage if you made it to the end of the video I
