why when i think of the goodness of jesus it's hallelujah when i think about where i could have been or should have been it's hallelujah when i didn't feel like getting up this morning it was hallelujah why he allowed me to see another day so therefore i got another hallelujah yes lord yes lord wonderful jesus come on put those hands together one more time for god oh come on somebody put those hands together like you're meaning i said clap those hands like you got joy wrap those hands like you got peace this morning grab those hands like god did something like you're saved like you're sanctified like you feel with them come on put those hands together hallelujah anyhow wonderful jesus i don't know about you but i feel good down on the side this morning i feel sanctified down on the inside this morning truly god is good while everyone is resting on their feet today those of you that can't we're going to get ready to go to god and pray out this morning we want you to get your prayer requests on your heart and on your mind whatever you need from god we're going to petition god on this morning kind father god we want to thank you god for blessing us to be here today god we want to appreciate you god for allowing us another opportunity to stand in your present god to give to worship you in the beauty of holiness god we want to thank you god because we have the activities of our land god that we close in our right mind and god will just thank you god because we have a mind to serve you god we pray god that you will bless those that are on their way god those that are here god god we ask god you will just come in god and have your way into service today god we ask god that you will move god for the fool from the poor pit to the back door got it god let your anointing just shower down the dame god we ask god jesus come in god and he'll sick by god those that are sick god those that are bound god we ask god that you will set him free today god we ask god did you to come in god and just anoint your preached word today as it go for today from bishop lee god we ask you just to anoint him the more god we ask god you will bless our pastor god apostle those that have left bad situations at home god we pray god you will change that situation for him today god is only you can and god with your being so care for god to give you the praise god to give you the glory give you all of the honor in jesus name come on say man well come on save man today hallelujah he's worthy while you're still remaining standing today we're going to go to our scripture reading it's coming from the book of psalms 108 verses 1 through seven that's psalms 108 verses one through seven as always it'll be up on the screen and those of you that don't have your bibles you look on with your neighbor if you can see that for a man look at the screen today amen amen but i began reading at the first verse and then we'd alternate would read verse seven together amen amen psalms 108 verses one and reason oh god my heart is fixed i will sing and give praise even with my glory congregation verse 3 i would praise thee oh lord among the people and i will sing praise unto thee among the nation's congregation verse 5 be thou be thou exalted o god above the heavens and thy glory all theory above all the earth congregation verse seven together god has spoken in his holiness i will rejoice i will devise shookum hey man come on clap those hands hallelujah you may be seated this morning we're going to get into the hands of dr copeland with our morning observations good morning people of god and welcome on behalf of our apostle our pastor and overseer herman murray also our first lady lady danielle and our founding mother dr shirley murray let's give them a hand we thank god for them we thank god that we're able to be in this temple together and to all of our guests we thank god for you being here with us this morning if you're wherever you may be just wave your hands praise the lord and anybody who's far away or close just give them a hand or wave at them or something just let them know that we welcome them to be here and we thank god that they are here and for our guests just in case you do not know we have multiple services and we thank god that you're here today but we also invite you to any of those other services and our service times are sunday mornings of course our gates open at 9 30 and service begins at 11 a.m also we have night services sunday night tuesday night as well as saturday night gates open at 6 30 and service begins at 7 30. so we thank god for you and welcome you to come back again we are also following the cdc guidelines as well as the executive order of our governor which asks us to practice social distancing and we are doing that here as well as know that masks are not required but they are very much encouraged so let's continue just to be safe and so we just have a few announcements this morning on behalf of first lady brenda boyce and the scholarship committee the lobes-murray memorial scholarship committee wishes to express our appreciation for the kindness and generosity of our donors during the july campaign the july scholarship campaign has been established to recognize our founders birthday which is july 28th dr shirley murray organized the scholarship fund to honor apostle libias murray's legacy of enriching the lives of so many youth who have grown up and are now increasing the kingdom and strengthening society giving options are still open and everyone can continue to give again we say thank you and this is on behalf of the scholarship committee also this announcement is to all laymen licensed and ordained ministers please visit our church app under the auxiliaries tab you will when they said unto me amen it's time to go to the house of the lord amen i praise god for this place amen i thank god something is not right i'm sharing with someone earlier there is such an unease in my spirit until i almost feel like there's a nervousness even now my hands are shaking something is happening in the spirit that we don't see and the devil has been so successful on many of his fronts of attack that he's gotten church people to fall over into a spirit of passivity and we now are no longer standing up for what is right but we are being swept along y'all ain't saying nothing i'm gonna preach and i don't care if you get mad today i'm gonna preach this to god get the glory we have been so caught up in just being blessed and just being accepted we're all getting quiet today until we have not stood up for what we know is right and god says he's going to require it at our hands i want you to notice something today children of god to know better means to do better y'all gonna get quiet i'm gonna preach this touch somebody and tell them neighbor when you know better you do better it does not make sense for us in this hour with all of the word that we have heard with all of the messages that have been preached and by the fact that we have been birthed out in holiness i want you to know that if you are saved at all god has birthed you out in holiness and after god brought us out in holiness how is it now that we are so passive and so careless when it comes to the affairs of the world in this hour last week we saw something that shifted us into another place and some of us have just not really understood what was going on i was on an airplane thirsty held up and god began to speak to my spirit and god said that this nation is once again about to moan and groan because something is around the corner and god's hand is now being moved against this nation y'all gonna get quiet i'm gonna preach it until god get the glory i want you to notice something brothers and sisters we have just been so satisfied with getting money and we're getting health care and we're getting all of these other things until sin has been swept up under the carpet and the people who should be saying that wrong is wrong and right is right or sitting on the sideline nobody's saying nothing and god's going to require it at your hand look at somebody help me talk today tell somebody you don't have a right to do the wrong thing [Applause] that's what i want to talk to you about this morning you don't have all right well i feel it i feel it getting tight in here already look at somebody and tell them again you don't have a right to do the wrong thing there is a serious evil that's taking root in this land today let me say this brothers and sisters at what point did truth equal hatred truth is now the new hate speech you can't tell the truth or you hate me you can't speak up for what i'm doing and against what i choose or else you hate me what brothers and sisters hate is a matter of the heart and you can't look in my heart remember man can only see the outside so you can't tell me that i hate you because i choose to tell you the truth that's the ultimate sign of love and somebody's willingness to stand up and to tell you the truth even if it means i'm telling you i'm the error of your way my mother had to chase in me growing up and because i was such an unruly child she had to chasten me quite often but i never thought that she hated me y'all getting quiet now i accepted the chasing because i believed that when the chasing was over she still loved me and what she did brought me to me would sooner or later work itself out and i would be better because she loved me enough to chase me when i was wrong but now we're living in a time family when nobody wants to hear of the chastening of the lord well y'all gonna make me preach here today nobody wants to hear that god still has a standard of living for his people yes he does god does not just throw his hands up and say do what you want to do and live how you want to live but rather god says there is a way that seems right to a man but the end there are other ways of death but jesus said i am the way i'm the truth and i am the life and i want you to understand this morning brothers and sisters that the times are more serious than we want to act like they are what we're seeing going on now on the news and in our newspapers what we see being written about and blogged about on the internet this is a shift now in spiritual warfare and rather than children of god being on the front lines of the battle we just standing in the background saying stuff like that ain't got nothing to do with me i tried it ain't got nothing to do with my salvation who who in the world do we think we are as the children of god to call ourselves his mouthpiece and still be too scared to speak his word you can't be the mouth of god if you cannot speak the word of god you cannot be the body of god if you will not do the works of god he needs somebody in this hour who's willing to stand and speak truth to power and declare that it's still righteousness that exalts a nation but that sin is still a reprise to any people i wish you'd shake a neighbor's head and tell a neighbor you don't have a right to do the wrong thing [Applause] yeah we're in that time brothers and sisters when somebody's got to say something oh yeah somebody's got to stand up now and somebody has got to take the responsibility of bringing the minds of the world and their attention back to the things of god and not be afraid to stand against all that is in opposition to our god and in opposition to his holiness and in this time now when evil seems to be on the increase it seems like we're seeing a decline in the number of people who are willing to own up to salvation and righteousness i know what somebody said oh look at him yeah no but let me inform you something now i am not a democrat and i am not a republican i'm a child of god y'all getting quiet here hey man don't lump me up and don't groove me in the number because i ain't neither one of them i'm a child of god and i'm a preacher of the gospel of jesus christ and whenever sin tries to take its root somebody's got to be there with the word of god and lay their axe to the root of the tree and root up this stuff for y'all get quiet touch somebody and tell the neighbor holiness is still right we saw it we saw it almost two weeks ago now [Music] the leader of the nation i feel it getting tight [Applause] stood up and declared that as a christian my christian values lead me to the position that everybody has the same right two men have a right to marry into women now listen i ain't i'm just stating the facts these are just don't act like you didn't see it two men two women have a right well why stop there why can't three men marry [Applause] why can't a man a woman and a horse get married why can't you marry a dog or marry your hand y'all getting quiet i'm gonna preach this anyway today amen amen why stop there if everybody has the same right then where are we going to draw the line look at the church getting quiet i'm all preaching to the devil get mad and god get the glory where do we stop and where do rights start and where do they end i want you to know brothers and sisters we have gotten confused boy y'all gonna get quiet right through here uh yeah it's the prevailing mentality now that everybody has the right to do whatever they want to do but that's not the case brothers and sisters we have misunderstood the difference between having the power and having a right you might have the power to do a whole lot of stuff but that don't mean you have the right to do it if i got a gun i got the power to kill you but that don't mean i have the right to boy y'all gonna get quiet if you're a man amen you've got the power and the equipment to raise then you can rape hell god but that don't mean you have the right to do it you know the only rights we have the right to be saved the right to be sanctified the right to come out of your sins the right to believe on the lord jesus christ and thou shalt be saved take somebody and tell the neighbors you don't have the right time to do the wrong thing [Music] home to the nation that forgets the lord whenever a nation takes a position against the righteousness of god then god does not just judge the individuals he judges the nations so yes you ought to say something because when god starts judging he's going to judge this nation he needs somebody in this hour who's willing to stand and speak truth to power and declare that it's still righteousness that exhausts a nation but that sin is still a reprise can it be policy [Music] hey is oh my my my mind [Applause] [Music] it's amazing all the things that you do for me [Music] it would satisfy [Music] my curiosity [Music] the day that i see your face you gave me the gift of life before i even knew who i was you paid the ultimate price at calvary you shed your blood [Music] oh how i love you so yes yes you supply every one of my needs and i will always do you right cause you keep on blessing me it's just amazing it just [Music] there were times when i could feel [Applause] ever so close to me you were leading me and guiding me yes and protecting me i never have to walk alone cause you're always there [Applause] when evil is facing me yeah yeah i just know that i'm in your care somebody says [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] in a moment oh god in the twinkling of an eye [Music] we've never seen his face but one of these old days and when we went to the sky split this is what's gonna happen look at somebody say we should let me praise are you ready to have a little bit more church today are you ready to have a little bit more church today can i see you put your hands together just like this come on if you have your tambourine i need to see you come on take your tambourine out hallelujah that's it we come to have a little bit more church hallelujah how many know that if you call on jesus amen he will answer prayer can i get a witness does clap those hands to the lord on today come on we can do better not put those hands together for the lord on the day oh he's been too good to us but to panic this thing pop those hands for the lord on the day hallelujah i'm so glad i can call on jesus and he will answer prayer whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord the same shall be saved hallelujah while you're standing while you're clapping can you help me thank god for the apostle i'm presiding pretty late apostle hermano mary jr come on clap those hands for this great man of god clap those hands for lady danielle come on put those hands together thank god for our founding mother dr shirley mary would you clap those hands with a great woman of god and i know you're going to give jesus a great big round of applause because the lord has been good to us we got a right to lift him up we got a right to give him praise oh that men would praise him for his mighty acts and his excellent greatness for sure the lord has done great things so listen the spirit of the lord is in this place and we come out to have church on today we'll have anybody in the temple that want to have church with me on today i'll try it again as anybody in the temple that want to have church with me on today listen david said i will bless the lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in my mouth blessed be the name of the lord we thank god for these great men and women of god all these elders and evangelists all the ministers we thank god for you you may be seated and some of you are waiting on that you may be seated in the presence of the almighty on today certainly god is good he is greatly to be praised we're indeed blessed amen to be amen to the house of the lord with you on today we're so grateful for the opportunity to be here we thank god for our apostle as elder pj stated earlier he's getting some much needed rest and we thank god for that and listen when he comes back i know he's going to be raring and ready to go amen amen so we're just here as a placeholder aiming to fill in amen praise god to even speak a word to your hearts and souls is that all right amen unto that is that all right amen we come out to lift up the name of jesus give him praise they've been a magnifying thank god amen that he said anybody glad to be saved can i just see those hands of those just glad to be saved glad to be on the lord so glad to be delivered glad to be set free hallelujah we told you on last night whom the son set free is free indeed and what the spirit of the lord is there is liberty and thank god for the freedom that is in christ on today i want to call you taking the scripture if we could on today to the book of job the book of job chapter number one verse number 12 through 22. so it's a few scriptures you have to read this might catch somebody i love you behind on your reading book of job chapter number one verse number 12 through verse number 22 and when you have it and when you find it please indicate by saying amen the book of job chapter 1 verse number 12 says and the lord said unto satan behold all that he hath is in thy power only upon himself put not forth thine hand so satan went forth from the presence of the lord and there was a day when the sons his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house and there came a messenger unto job and said the oxen were plowing and the asses were feeding beside them and the sabians fell upon them and took them away yea all have they have all been slain the servants with the edge of the sword and i only uh escaped alone to tell thee and while he was yet speaking there came another and said the fire of god has fallen from heaven has burned up all the sheep and all their servants and consumed them and i only escaped alone to tell thee 17 verse while he was yet speaking there came another and said the chaldeans made out three bands and fell upon the camels and have carried them away yea and slaying the servants with the edge of the swords and i alone have escaped to tell thee while he was yet speaking there came another and said thy sons and thy daughters that were eating and drinking wine in our eldest brother's house and behold there came a great win from the wilderness and smoked the four corners of the house and it fell upon the young men and they are dead and i only am escaped alone to tell thee the bible says in verse 20 that then job arose and rent his mantle shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshipped and said came out of my mother's womb and shall i return this and the lord gave and the lord had taken the way blessed be the name of the lord in all this job sin not nor charge god foolishly may god bless the reading and hearing of his word on today we want to draw out derive our text from verse number 20. then job arose and rent his mantle and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshipped i want to talk from these words if i could for a brief few moments when the wounded worship when the worship when the wounded worship it's easy to give god praise when you got a new car it's easy to give god praise when you've gotten money in the bank or the check has come in the mail but it means something when you have been through some pain some heartaches and scars and you still have the ability to worship god it means something now uh not that it does not mean anything when you give them praise but it's easier to praise god and worship him when you got stuff but it takes a real believer to be able to give god praise when you lose stuff do i have any witnesses here it's easy to run around the church and shout and jump uh because you know that you ain't good and you're gonna eat good when you get home ah but a real worshiper when there's nothing in the refrigerator nothing in your belly you still give god your best praise i want to talk to those that know how to give god praise in spite of all the circumstances and everything you're going through because people would look at you and they wouldn't think that you have a problem in the world they wouldn't think that anything's wrong the way you gave god praise the way that you crossed over and put left over right and right they would think that's not a problem in the world but what they don't know is that i'm worshiping while i'm wounded i'm dealing with some things i have problems i'm i'm dealing with issues you don't know the weight of the world that's on my shoulder but i decided in spite of everything i'm dealing with i'm still going to give god my best praise i want to talk to those because if you've been saved any little time you've been through some things i stand here today and i talk to people that are dealing with scars and and dealing with wounds and dealing with heart aches and pain but you're still able to pull yourself together and come to the house of god god is looking for those type of worshipers that no matter what you face no matter what you go through you still have a hallelujah anyhow am i talking to anybody in the building today you still have a hallelujah although you've been hit you've been hurt and you've been wounded but you still decided i'm gonna serve god anyway i cannot talk to those people that have been through some trials and some tribulations and decided although i'm wounded i'm still going to give god my best praise lord have mercy because now we deal with adversity and sometimes we're so immersed in our circumstances we forget about who the real deliverer really is sometimes we get bogged down with problems and our head is hung down so low even though we cannot give god praise because we're more concerned about our problem than we are the problem solver but i want to tell you that while you're going through and while you're dealing with with all these issues god is still command and commanding or worship from you because our praise and our worship is not predicated upon circumstances but it's simply based upon who he is god didn't say i had to have money to worship and praise him all i have to do is have a willing heart to be a priest god almighty am i talking to anybody today i want to let you know that you're sitting beside somebody whether they confess to you or tell you or not they've been through some stuff they might be dealing with some things right now that they can't even feel comfortable sharing with you but i want to tell you know that god knows the heart of a worshiper and if you don't mind giving god praise in spite of what you're going through that's where the real blessing lies because there is a fragrance that is emitted from the sanctuary when people that are wounded still know how to worship and give god praise lord have mercy because you've been through stuff and you say in spite of everything i'm dealing with all the problems that i have bills that can't be paid children that have left home uh and all these issues i'm dealing with i'm still determined to come to church and lift up the name of jesus wounded folk know how to give god praise in spite of everything they're going through sometimes the weight of our burdens are not trials they feel so heavy like we'll never recover that things won't ever get better that we can't come out of the things that we're dealing with but as we look at the job's trial and the gravity of his trial it gives us really insight into the character of job because if we receive that type of bad news ain't no type of no telling how we would handle that if we received that type of news some of us would simply lose our mind and there's a fine line between giving god the glory and somebody said i'm going insane but i learned how to give god praise i learned how to tell them thank you even when i don't understand i learned how to tell the lord i appreciate you while i'm going through the storm in the rain i told you anybody can praise him when the sun is shining but do i have anybody that knows how to give them praise when the rain is falling in your life when people talk about you and scandalize your name and tell all kind of lies on you oh but you still say i'm still a worshiper in my heart i'm still worshipper i know what they said wasn't true but they told it so well they made some other body else believe a lot that they were telling us but here i am as a child of god i got to do something with myself now to make sure i don't lose my mind and at the core value of who i am i'm a worshiper and i'm a praiser so when things go wrong guess what i do i go back to worship and i go back to praise i ain't chasing down lies i ain't running down liars but i'm gonna give god praise for who he is because i realize they wouldn't allow me unless they want to be like me i realize now they wouldn't talk about me unless i had something they wanted i wish i had somebody here to understand god made me a worshiper it hurt it cut deeper than the knife but i decided although i got wounds i'm still going to worship life and people can deal us some crushing blows to the point where we get knocked down and some of us feel like we can't get back up we deal with some things now i'm not talking about a scrape i ain't talking about a cut i'm talking about a wound a scrape may remove skin a cut may pinch the skin or but a wound ruptures tissues and and gets down so deep it takes a while to recover can i talk to somebody to know what a wound is lord i'm talking about something uh the lord however you can't put a band-aid over wound needs guards a wound needs attention it needs some iodine and some peroxide and some antibiotics i thought i was talking to somebody that knew what a wound was that been through something and can i tell you that wounds don't heal easy they don't heal fast and that's why some of us are worshiping even with [Music] with our wounds we're still dealing with issues but i decided my my worship is more important than my wound and i found out if i keep worshiping him that the wound will heal the pain will go away i decided not to let the setback cause me to sit down and i decided that no matter what i'm going through i'm going to give them praise anyway i'm going to lift them up anyway because they were trying to set this to i feel the holy ghost there they're never trying to set this thing up to knock me out the box and to make me quit church and quit serving god but i decided my salvation is more important than me walking away my feelings were hurt my mind was hurt my heart was hurt but at the core value of who i am i'm still a worshiper do i have anybody in here that know that you're a worshiper and you know how to give god praise no matter what you face and what you go through let them say what they're gonna say but when you look my way you're gonna see me worshiping him when you look my way you're gonna see me giving god a praise didn't that affect them did not break them did not know because i got to go back to what i know can i get a witness here and when i don't know anything else i know how to lift my hands in the sanctuary and magnify the name of the lord when i can't turn to nobody else ain't nobody to call ain't nobody to talk to ain't nobody to lean on there was a friend that sticks closer than any brother his name is jesus can i get a witness and so while i'm going through my toughest anybody can hover over us trying to count us out saying that the fight is over but i serve a god that is going to allow me to make a full recovery i just got the prognosis now from dr jesus and he said everything's gonna be all right can i get a i just got the prognosis oh that you're gonna heal you're gonna recover from this uh the setback is not gonna be the final blow to you he said you're gonna make a full recovery and those that laughed at you and talked about you and scandalize your name god said finish his mind said the lord i ain't going to worry about listen god is too big for me to be worried about petty people uh daughters too i've got places to go miracles again blessings to walk into you think i'm going to waste my time with petty people that got little insecurities and grudges against me i'm trying to get what god's trying to take me to and i need a god to heal all of my what do you do when you don't know what to do got to worship the lord got to give him praise even when i don't understand it because there will be some trials that we we don't understand a wound by definition is an injury by definition it just simply means hurt feelings some of us have some wounds it means a rupture or a painful bruise it's an infliction that caused damage lord have mercy someone's been wounded so bad now it's damage our trust in people now we don't trust nobody because we've been wounded before and to protect ourselves from future wounds we just don't trust nobody y'all are going to talk back to me and lord have mercy am i at the right place today i want to let you know that sometimes those wounds change the way you think they change the way you feel and sometimes if we're not careful we'll walk around protecting our wounds will walk around uh catering to our womb because we know it still hurts there and we got to make sure that nobody hit us where it already hurts at so now with jaden now we're caged now we found ourselves a stand offish now because of the things that we've been through oh lord have mercy and the devil will have you feeling all kind of ways about everybody but i decided in serving god that i'm not gonna let what i go through change how much he treat my brother or my sister i i still love you i still appreciate you and i love those that despitefully misuse me i'm gonna go on in the name of the lord see this is important now because i cannot let this end up my worship because they that worship him [Music] must worship him in spirit and in truth that means it's hard for me to worship when i got a grudge it's hard for me to worship when i'm angry it's hard for me to worship when i'm upset i got to make sure i'm in the right frame of mind to be able to worship him because a part of worship is surrendering yourself and honoring god that is above you worship causes us to sacrifice ourself that's why even giving is a part of worship we sacrifice what we have for the glory and honor of god so to be a worshiper it's it's a mindset it's a hard thing so be able to lift my hands and make sure my hands are clean and worship the lord i got to make sure i'm treating everybody right i got to make sure my heart is right my hands are clean my heart is pure that when i worship the lord i'm worshiping in spirit and truth because the father seek out such to worship him he's looking for some true worshipers in the times that we're living now that don't mind giving him praise and don't mind lifting them up we are created to worship the king and i challenge you today in spite of everything that you're going through in spite of your hurts and your wounds to make sure before you leave here you worship him to make sure before you leave here you give him praise that's your challenge for today i've got wounds but i still got my praise i i've been going through some stuff but i'm still going to lift him up can i can i just say this to you you can worship him with your mask on you can praise him with your mask on you can stone the devil's head the devil had did all that he desired to do against job and our story today let me get to it he was trying to provoke him to curses god he touched all that he had when the sun rose job was a rich man the richest man in the east by the time the sun set he was a broke beggar lord have mercy old folks say if it ain't one thing see i know that one it's another if i ain't dealing with this lord knows i'm dealing with that if this bill ain't doing the other ones do as soon as i pay that and give god the glory here come the next notice y'all ain't sitting in here and we always seem to be dealing with something job went from being rich to being broke all in the same day i wonder could some of us handle that i wonder could some of us be able to function knowing that we lost everything we had what would you do then when people in our society when they found out they lost their money they took their life when they found out they were exposed to bad reputations they took their life when they found out things weren't gonna work out the way they wanted to they took their life but job lost everything he had this four-fold attack on job he lost everything of value to him job was wounded job cried with the afflictions satan insinuated that if i take all this stuff from him he won't still serve you and god you've got go go and touch everything just don't touch your soul take everything you have i'll show you how committed job is to the cause take all of this stuff and watch them still be a worshiper am i talking to anybody in here that could lose some stuff and still know how to worship lord have mercy you can lose your job walk up in church and clap your hands and give god praise like you just got a bonus y'all ain't standing here i'm talking about losing your car ride to church with a friend and shout like you just got to beings y'all ain't saying in here i need to talk to somebody that said in spite of it whatever it is i'ma still give god praise anyway i told you dave said earl i will bless the lord all times his praise shall continually be in my mouth he asks the question now in psalms 42 and 5. he said so why aren't thou disquieted within me hope thou and god and david goes and said for i shall yet praise lord have mercy for the health of my countenance i shall praise him for my help i'm going to give him praise in other words why are you sitting there so quiet don't you know that god's been good to you and people replied didn't you know did you hear the bad news that my job shut down yeah but god is still good did you hear the bad news that i'm not gonna get this anymore yeah but god is still good why aren't i disquieted within me anybody here gotta yet pray anybody wanna give god praise in spite of what you go through i told you when we give god a praise like that it sends up a fragrance to heaven and it smells sweet to the nostrils of god and i wonder is there anybody in here that want to help me give him a praise in spite of everything you've been through in part of everything you have to deal with and what's going on in your life right now somebody yelled at yet praise a yet praise i still gotta praise i i'm still gonna lift them up i'm still gonna magnify my listen i'm not going to then tell you that i don't hurt i'm not going to tell you i didn't cry last night and crime this morning before i walked in the sanctuary but what i will tell you that in spite of my tears in spite of my hurt in spite of the shadows in spite of my faith i still have a praise and i'm going to lift them up and i'm going to give them praise i just wonder do i have anybody in the sanctuary they want to have church with me but i still devil took everything from job and stood back and said watch what he do now what what what do they do now watch what he do now job read this man shaved his head went down the sackcloth and ashes as they customarily during the time of mourning and lifted those hands time to worship that blew the devil's mind he thought for sure he was gonna wave the white flag he thought for sure job was gonna check out he thought for sure it was over and out and job was done can i tell you you ought to mess with the devil real good and give god a break when the devil thought you were gonna quit when he thought you were done you mess him up real good and tell the devil i ain't going nowhere all you made me do is give god a greater praise than the one i had planned all i'm gonna do is praise him harder worship longer and get deep into my prayer you ain't changing nothing devil i i still love the law jesus now is entering to the city and they're saying hosanna hosanna blessing is he who comes in the name of the lord they got palm leaves and laid it down and when they ran over palm leaves they start taking off their coats and cloaks and landed on the ground for the triumphant entry of jesus into the city and the men of the city got angry and got mad and said you ought to stop them people from doing all that worshiping and all that praising and jesus said well i could but if they don't praise me the rocks and trees are going to cry out in their place can i talk to those that are sitting there hadn't moved yet if you decide not to praise them i just wanted to know the rocks and trees are gonna cry out in your place and i don't want no rocks crying out for me i don't want the trees out clap their hands god's been too good to me give him god i need somebody here to know i owe him a praise i gotta give him a praise my problem is no excuse my issue is no excuse my wound is no excuse i gotta give him praise for who he [Music] give him a praise and smile what you're going through still clap your hands up open up your mouth and declare worthy is the king worthy is the king i got wounds but i'm still always i hear the wounded worshipping that's what i hear the woman worshiping yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah i'm dealing with some problems but i found deep down in the building in the city of my sacrifice i still gotta pray i still feel like telling them thank you i'm not believing the doctor's report but whose report will you believe we shall be shallow we shall believe the report of the lord his report said i'm healed his report says i'm free i believe the report of the lord it's been buried upon the layers of heartache and pains misery and sorrow but when i start peeling back the layers i find the praise getting deep down in there and i hadn't forgot how to praise him i hadn't the god of dance i forgot how to run i forgot how to lift my noise but i'm gonna give the lord praise he's been too good [Music] that's it it's something about when the wounded worship those that really know god and those that know who he is those with their hands up that don't understand but they know that all things work together for the good of them beloved lord i know they're called according to his purpose bc the please i just need a few more minutes and i got to get up out of here [Music] i got wounds it's true preacher i've been trying to hide him been trying to cover him up with nice outfits but i got wounds i've been trying to cover it up with my great big smile but i got wounds it's true preacher i tried to cover it up with laughter so nobody knows how bad i was hurting oh but i feel your spirit today and god said in spite of the wounds learn how to worship me learn how to give me praise you'll get your breakthrough and i can start the healing process anybody ready to start the healing process i gotta trust him i gotta believe him that everything is gonna be all right somebody let me cover this got to close where was god when i was getting wounded why did god let this happen to me it could have been anybody else but me but he's chosen me for the furnace of affliction i wouldn't have this wound if he would have stepped in and been merciful and kind and blocked it but why did god in all of his love and wisdom let me be wounded why did god let this happen to me if i could just get some clarity then i'll be able to understand and we struggle in our humanity with his divinity but his thoughts are not our thoughts and neither his ways our ways said the lord but i'm glad to read in scripture that he won't put no more on you than what you're able to bear it's a wound but you can handle it now can i get a witness here it's a scar but you can handle it paul said i've been shipwrecked three times i've been beaten with wrongs oh lord have mercy i suffered hunger some of the nakedness some of the perils of the sword of my countrymen i've been mobbed i've been beat up i've been talking about lying on mistreated lord then but scorn talked about as sure as you're born what is the refrain saying it's wrong but as long as i got king i don't need nobody else i've been through a whole lot of things but thanks be to god that whatever i've been through god has been able to see me through i had to bend but i didn't break because i wouldn't build a break god made me strong enough god made me tough enough i'm fearfully and i'm wonderfully made he put me together that i can handle this other folk can handle my trials but god put me together that i could handle this and he knew that job wouldn't break under pressure he knew that job was a worship at his heart he knew that job wasn't going to change his mind he knew that job wasn't going to announce his allegiance and he was going to serve him for the rest of his days so when tragedy hit when the trial struck when the assault began job said i'm on worship and i'ma give god praise he said i came into this world shall i return this and the lord giveth and the lord taketh away but blessed be the name of the lord and i'm here to tell you that no matter what i've gone through i'm still lifting my hands and said bless be the name of the lord we brought nothing into this world we can't take us with us i might as well give god the glory the honor and praise that's doing to him i'm going through some things dealing with some problems but my frame of mind is still good because his grace is sufficient it's all i need i'm not operating at a deficiency but i got everything that i need lord have mercy when i do an inventory of myself and i count up the stuff that i lost the legend steal in my favor because i got god i have my joy and i got my praise is there anybody in here that when you do inventory you say yeah i lost this and i lost that the bible said let the redeemer the lord say so and i got a right to open up my mouth and keep going i wonder can i find about a thousand people it didn't break me it didn't make me bitter but i got better it didn't make me weak it just made me worshiper it didn't make me quit and i'm still here by the grace of god it's amazing how job responded he responded like a worshiper does hallelujah he lifted his hand and gave god praise he wrenches metal yes shaved his head as morning does but in the bible times that morning only lasted about 10 days and after 10 days you had to get about your face and wash your face and go about your day can i come to tell somebody that you cried about it long enough you moaned over it long enough been saddened by dust myself off and get back in the light i know what the devil was trying to do trying to silence me trying to stop me trying to break me trying to kill me i know we're not close but just prone to somebody and just say it backfired it backfired what he wanted to happen it didn't happen all it did was push me closer to the presence of god all it did was make me want to give god unrestricted praise all it did was call me to make up in my mind that i'm going to bless the name of the lord i'm going to serve him with my whole heart i'm going to give him praise in spite of what i'm going through although the fig tree shall not blossom the label of the island shall fail there shall be no meaningless songs the flock shall be cut up from the fold there shall be no hurt in the skull habakkuk said for i shall yet praise him for he is the caller but my strength he calls me to walk upon my high places he's my god to the chief musician of my string instrument i gotta give him praise i i've been through a whole lot of stuff but i'm still here can i get the wounded to lift your hands and say i'm still here he says in job 5 and 18 he make a troll he bound it up everything's gonna be all right and what i need is for you to stand on your feet and help me send them a sweets ravens gotta give him praise is there anybody in here wanna help me worship him anybody your hand upon your people god and god those that have not outwardly acknowledged that they have hurts their wounds god i'm asking you heal those wounds right now god god those that are going through that have been shy guided and ashamed about what they're dealing with god i claim total victory in their life on today touch them right now from the very crown of the head to the souls of the zika god those with uplifted hands gone use those hands at the point of contact god just stricken them right now god in their struggles to them right now god in the pride in the battle with the dealing with right now god i pray strength god see what natural strength that they might be able to make of god and god i pray that you to raise up that worship that's been buried upon so many issues and problems god raise up that worship god bring it to the forefront of god let them know they need to worship you to be strong with god and look god let them know god they need to praise god in the name of jesus touch right now god and we think of a total and complete victory in this house covering every need for every person in the name of jesus we pray and the people of god say amen come on clap those hands with the lord real good come on come on clapping real good hallelujah i'm going through but is this something special about when the wounded worship is just something significant about when the wounded worship been through all these things paul says his best he says none of these things move me i'ma give god praise anyway i'm gonna worship him anyway i'm gonna lift him up anyway i'd have to tell you what the wound is but it's there paul said i'm validated by my scars i've been through some things i've been through some struggles and listen i encourage you i even challenge you to worship him even with your wounds to worship even with your hurts and pains everything have to be perfect to be a worshiper but worshipping make everything feel like it's perfect clap those hands one more
