Farmall vs. John Deere | Antique Tractor Pulls

[Applause] all right well i've made it to the stoneborough fair here i believe mercer county and you can see some of the antiques sitting there getting ready to pull some john deere's and farm balls and this and that and the other thing so and no i'm not using a gimbal so you have to move your head with the sway of the phone let's check these out well there goes a minneapolis moline u and his nose down a little bit got the wheelie bars in the back so he's ready to pull check out that machine right there it looks like maybe a farm all 350 could be a 450 well just just going by the paint scheme uh but big tires on there i'm gonna call it a 450 we're gonna get a better look on the side see what that is that's a yeah it's a four 450 you can see right there and i'll zoom out so they must be weighing in and lining up oh what a cool track they got here they're gonna pull right here and you can see the bleachers seating and the tracks like i don't know 10 feet in front of you so i guess uh they pulled here long enough that must be the pullers over there getting registered and whatnot i don't see the scale i don't matter if i do or i don't but there's a bunch of them here a lot of red a lot of red a lot of green typical pull got some oliver there we got a super c here uh with the fast hitch there you go we got a little massey harris there and it is small it's i don't know between a cub and an a it'd be interesting to see that pull if i brought my a that's what i'd be pulling against i'm certain of that and we can check out some of these tractors here an oliver super 88 we got an oliver row crop 66 pickup sticks and there's a case ski and i wonder if that case is uh one of the ones that pulled down in lawrence county uh we're only one county away so we might get some cross over here i don't know for sure so yeah and uh one tractor that's interesting i've never seen before yeah i used to own two david browns and uh this tractor here is a david brown 900 which must be an older model david brown but we're going to see that poll today too like i say oliver case john deere farm all there's a 400 diesel right there we'll see that thing explode and a bunch of farm balls down the way we got a ford master 961 and we saw a 960 a female contestant full over at the wattsburg fair she did quite well most people think the fords don't pull well but at least at that pole in and of itself maybe it has to do with the condition of the track not sure but it did well so let's go let's grow got a 10 10 there there you go that's one i've never seen pull at least the model have you ever seen in all this chalmers painted all black there you go short chrome stack on it female contestant we'll get to see that pole there so area golf [Music] well and i finally found the scale and i think she's gonna weigh in here um digital of course nice little setup here i kind of like it ah the the fair itself i've never seen anything like it it's in part on a hillside up there there's your uh you got your rabbit building there and i don't know what else is there but the howard patent wildlife building wildlife displays up there actually when i'm done here i'll walk up there and check it out probably got some nice wildlife mounts up there taxidermy and whatnot so oh she was smart she put the little kid on there for less weight oh yeah yeah and check out this oliver super 99 diesel 1955 owned by ralph and linda dolphin out of fombell pennsylvania it's a town i've never heard of but uh it's poland today it's pulling in the 8 500 pound class and the 7 500 pound class so you're gonna get to see this thing throw some smoke and then right beside it we got a 450 and uh boy this thing's weighted down oh my word i wonder that looks familiar i wonder if this is a tractor that was up at lawrence county huh maybe maybe not but boy is it weighted 16 9 38 which we've become familiar with it's going to pull in the 9 500 pound and the 80 500 pound class so we'll get to see it pull against that oliver right there oh and we got a cocky eight sitting here just being all throaty but uh in the meantime we gotta farm all 400 hitting the scales weighing in for the oh i'll call it a middleweight match and uh boy there's a way to dangle it underneath and toward the front andy warren eat your heart out there's a 340 and uh coming up on the scale it's a gasser and uh boy you compact little suckers you don't realize it until you're away from them and then you get to see him again but he's got a bracket there on the front but he doesn't have any weight on it he's got some weight in the rear and again we're going to see that pull he's pulling off of a fast hitch there so yep should be coming right up he just crossed the scale checked his weight and uh running a little bit late most tractor pulls do not start on time and i had counted on that as i got here a little bit later than i wanted to but i'm still able to do somewhat of a preview so good to go all right here's a super mta wide front looks like it's got the schwartz front end on it um and this is for sale and i can tell you price is most definitely right we're going to walk around the the back and uh ron with a 352 area code we'll walk around the back and check this thing out but uh sheesh luis okay so this is ron the owner of the super mta and you know they only made these one year so it's a 1954. got the toolbox got the lights got good skins on it i can tell you that but ron will tell you more and if you notice right there in the uh sediment bowl he's got one of those filters in there that i showed you in one of my videos right there and i've noticed a lot more people must be using them because the price of them went up so ron won't you talk about your tractor that's for sale here yeah i picked this tractor up a few years ago it was redone about 10 years ago it's really a good pulling tracker i've really enjoyed it but it's got the factory wide front end on it that came with the tractor got all the hydraulics on it everything works on there and the live pto and so on and uh yeah fun tractor i like outstanding that's my rider tracker too i'm up here for the summer yeah right out of florida nice several months that's my driver that i drive around the community out of florida you're down there at paquettes yes right yeah all right well down there too he finds out you have this he'll probably want it but i hear the national anthem so i'll cut it off and we'll listen to that so apparently ron pulled this tractor down in the lawrence county fair pole antique tractor pull and out of about 16 18 tractors he took second with it so the tractor's as good as it looks um it wants to run so much even sitting that the uh rain cap stays up so hey that sucker right there is a this is running even in its sleep and uh well check that out after he hits it i just i cut it yeah i can move it in and then i can hook there for my you know 18 inches out and 18 inches i can adjust it if i go to a place to pull 28. and i see you you turn that pto shield into a nice step and uh you know getting on and off these for some guys it's it's the great impossible like climbing mount everest so yeah i do i have my wheels tucked in you see that yeah i do see that i see that i just tell everybody because i fit on a narrow trailer okay but that's not why i'd still pull them in like that right yeah i've been to pulls over the years i just found it works better for me if i keep these in i'd pull it in closer if i could so basically the motto is end to win yeah exactly you want to win yeah go in and check out that that steering wheel cover man that that's got some meat on it so you know when you're white knuckling going down the track you get something to grip but this is a nice machine um you know you can just tell it's well maintained and i see you got the price set to sell yeah it's not yeah 49.50 it's not i mean by the time you get into skins you're halfway there anyways so so uh but nice machine and good luck today we'll get you on video poland what weight class are you in 75 70 500 so two and three because i want two hooks yep and i'm guessing that remote works oh yeah there you go so you got a you got a puller or a field tractor either way you can go either way with this or both so all right ron good luck and i wanted to get the other side of this tractor and you can see it does have the ih distributor there um yeah just to just to check that out i know a lot of guys will inquire about that you know whether it has the delco or the ih and uh yep okay so we're getting ready to we're watching an mta and he's gonna pull back that torque amplifier and get her rolling there he goes right there up in the air a little bit but he went from the wheels that slips the grip he's pulling we just missed the 450 in the first hole [Music] [Music] and that's it down for the count didn't quite uh pull where the 450 did but a good pull nevertheless all right the next tractor to pull is that 450 female contestant that i caught walking in here and uh we're gonna see how she does weighted down galore and there's a bee that just swarmed around my head so let's check this 450 out well here she comes tractor's sounding good got them small wheels on the front see how long it takes her to go nose up probably about right now so oh you can hear that thing just thunderous [Music] a whole new tractor at that point check out the deflation and then fires oh that's a good pull already i can tell you she's sidewinding but winning's [Music] i think so far of three all right looks like we got a super m coming down to delaware and uh we'll find out if he wishes he had another pair here in a minute because he ain't skipping a beat he's coming down the track at a good flip he's not slipping not nose up not nothing a little light in the front end but knocked out the thunderous other super mta is what that is he's getting ready to pull that torque amplifier back he just did and up we go listen to that belly bass it's up in the air oh creeping that's what gets you right there boom down for the count chrome stack call stack moving steady about the halfway mark and uh boy he's belly loaded on that thing uh [Music] [Music] oh no oh no [Music] out of franklin pennsylvania and uh so far it sounds great he's got two front weights on that front bracket i'll zoom in on him zoom in on the situation there [Music] a little dicey there now he just went off [Music] ta back he's definitely up yeah he's in it to win it about 30 degrees oh he's got that 720. there you go red power red power and he just wanted nice [Music] hey let's try to keep the front end now very accomplished [Music] i always talk about the zamboni at the pole we got a 2850 massey ferguson and john stevens you should be in heaven right now you got a tractor about five times the size of that so yeah there you go it's just a straight end he's pulling good so there's not going to be any uh fancy dancy torque amplifying that i know of unless i got this one wrong but no that's an m that's a straight m must be a little dicey area there because p side sidewinded just like the last guy and then was able to straighten the sweat out so he goes up farm all m right out of the factory uh tested at 36 horsepower [Music] he's getting it there's nothing wrong with that hole there this next contestant is a 12 year old girl first year pulling and that's her dad walking beside her because there's an age restriction i guess 16 in order to pull without supervision so she's a poland she's getting it apparently she's uh she's won before so she ain't new to winning that's a formal 400 and she's starting to sideline there too like everyone else did [Music] there you go [Music] my is she pulling uh i got news for you folks there ain't nobody gonna beat her and a story well there's that super 99 diesel oliver getting ready to pull so won't be long now they're starting biggest to smallest today all right this is the farm all 450 that pulled first very first and i was doing an interview with ron and i missed him pulling but i didn't miss where he stopped and he had a good pull that last time so i don't see why this time would be any different but he's got a tall task beating that last pull that's for sure [Music] oh [Music] i gotta tell you it's gonna be close i think the girl might have beat him [Music] on him drives yep i'll zoom out get a little bit of he's not nose up or anything stupid like that he hasn't even touched the torque amplifier yet i think he's going to wait until right about well he gave it a little bit of pulled it back here finally again a decent pull different class i should say on that 450 they had a good down down in the front end which starts to think that helps quite a bit saw burnouts involved last time at wattsburgh he has that thought of touching the ta yet [Music] oh man it's a good pull oh there she goes oh no [Music] yep that'll do it that's going to be up there we got a 450 coming down the delaware and uh it's got them blue weights on the front those are ford weights [Music] and if you've watched a channel long enough to know you know forbes stands for first on race day so he put those forward weights up there knowing he was gonna be first [Music] and he's getting it at a good real nice clip here absolutely incredible i'm shocked [Music] well the next stop for him would have been sandy lake here we go with bright and shiny sounds good looks good got the chrome stack on there it's just moving great drive tires are beating steady drum forward [Music] about three miles an hour straight ahead i'm gonna go out on a limit say it's a super mca because that's exactly what it is [Music] there he goes he just pulled the ta back and i think he's gonna go a miracle mile two he's working him breaks yeah he's done but it's still a good pull this is a wd-9 pulling and listen to the thunderous beast that's a belly power there i'll be honest with you i've never seen one before not a wd-9 not up close and personal things just are rocking and going steady oh that was a good good pull here we go with some more red car reaction and uh boy he's stacked up in the front you can see those black weights in that front end he's moving steady too not having a problem super mca right there you go a lot of super ftas falling here today [Music] there he goes [Music] so [Music] [Music] yeah he's going for broke and that's a straight farm all m so there won't be any torque amplifier being pulled back what you get is what you get keep going all right we got a john deere 620 coming down the pipe could be one of them slow and steady wins their racers most definitely seen them call chrome stacked on that [Music] [Music] end but it's still down oh look at the belly weights it's well-weighted boys [Music] [Music] so [Music] all right that's a decent pulling at 6 20 actually a little surprised back to back green here we go and i'm not exactly certain but this could be that 720 on a different class [Music] today yeah that was a good pull right here we go with a subscriber or spotlight this is paul hunter on a john deere 60. and the nice thing about ball is color don't mean anything to him because he's pulling a 60 then later he'll be pulling red and i can't remember what you said you have for red an m a 400 a super mta i don't know but right now he's on his 60. and let's hear for paul hunter that's uh that's a farm all fanatic right there on on green i think he's going to be one of them guys that's slow and steady wins the race because he's a pop and he's up in the air but now we'll see [Music] they obscured more toward the red beating the green but [Music] always root for a subscriber because he watches farm all fanatic regularly so he's gonna watch himself now there's thunder and heat coming out of that pipe about 35 degrees up he is going and growing and getting it hitting it's not spinning he's got the right deflation in those drives oh you get every inch out of that hole check that out he's a beast mode there he can do that with green wait till he gets on red yeah there you go good pull this is the first tractor other than red or green and that's gonna be a case don't know the model maybe we can figure that out when it gets here but [Music] poking along digging getting it not spinning of course you just started off lindy's trucking i know you like uh you're a case fan ever so slightly light right now on that front end but it's not up yet [Music] [Music] go with the massey harris this is the first of the day [Music] looks like it's going to be as slow as steady got somebody in the background he's changing weights out into a different cracker [Music] deflated there he goes he's got everything he could out of it now we got more red power this one's in its work clothes and uh we're gonna see if it indeed does work rather quickly [Music] up in the air and it's talking [Music] yeah that's interesting looks like it hit a bad spot on the track and just regrouped the first time seeing this track or full so [Music] and oil they've got some wheel weights on there that's a thunderous sounding beast there got the rain cap just uh lifted got the owner demographic tag on the front [Music] he's up a little bit but make no mistake that's a 48 m and he's pulling proudly oh that's a good pull really good pull for that class man yeah all right in this case tractor pulling looks all too familiar and i'm gonna have to go back and watch the footage of the lawrence county fair because this could very well be that same case tractor that pulled over in lawrence county or i should say down in orange county south of here and there is some crossover uh fuller's here pullers that work at wattsburgh fair up at uh up in erie county so then of course you got your home boys and girls with your first station area [Music] seems to be that one funky spot in the track that somebody's gonna have problems it's gonna be there but problems no more [Music] dc it looks like from here i can't really read the first letter you tell me and uh that's decent pull well here we go with uh ron kind of a subscriber spotlight special here he's even got the for sale sign he's toting that sucker up front for an extra what probably two ounces are not gonna be swarming me figures but listen to that super mta and uh i never asked if the weights go with it he just hit that ta he didn't wait till he died he said that's one of his tricks to the trade and i want to tell you he's going strong i might have to stand up for this oh he's getting it and hitting it oh he's going going out the back side of the gate with that bowl oh wow they're gonna have to stop them best pull of the day right there folks and that tractor is for sale we got we got some applause in the crowd [Music] here [Music]
