Exploring The Hills of PUNCAK, West Java

this is the scooter that i've rented for two days here in bogor it was pretty handy because they dropped it straight to my hotel you guys also told me that bagor is called the rainy city and it's pretty funny because included in the bike they gave me two rain jackets which i've never seen before when you rent a bike [Music] so i'm just driving down a pretty narrow road following google maps which isn't always the best idea in indonesia people told me to come and i here see lots more of the tea over there i can even see pirate people paragliding maybe i should fly my drone [Music] as you guys can see there's a lot of activities here there's horse riding and then over here you have boogie off-road adventure and then in here you can see people picking tea pretty cool quad bikes off-road buggies taking photos in the tea tea plantations it's so so beautiful here guys and it's also i wouldn't say a lot cooler but it's a little bit cooler than in bogor definitely cooler than jakarta as you're up in the hills a little bit and you can kind of walk through the tea plantations here a lot of people are just standing around behind me taking photos with tea and yeah there's a lot of activities here so i think i need to go get a cup of tea sounds like a busy place to come on a sunday the traffic coming here was crazy everyone's just sitting around chilling having picnics there are definitely a lot of photo spots here i can just see a lot of locals like sitting on platforms and sitting on swings there's like another platform on this tree here behind me and you can walk all the way down i don't know if you can see but this place is massive it goes on and on apparently you can hike for about five kilometers to these hills over here [Music] funny i don't know if you can see this properly but it's actually a carpet so i guess it's like having a magic carpet ride so funny i love this swing as well look how many bikes there are it's crazy everyone's just pulling along at the side of the road and then there's like [Music] so [Music] i've just come into a little whirling here at ryung which is like a viewpoint at the top of the hill here in punjab there are food stalls the whole way along the road there's literally hundreds of food stalls probably thousands of people parked the whole way along the road the whole way up the hill sadly it is kind of cloudy or misty today so the view isn't as good but as you look down you can see trees in the valley and a lot of tea plantations i just came in here to order some food i haven't really eaten very much today and so i just ordered the menus up here so i ordered indomie teleware which is like kind of like those instant noodles but then they cook them and add an egg so it's a pretty basic meal [Music] just having a simple lunch today which is uh indomie with talor coronet i don't know what cornet is is that meat [Music] look at this view okay [Music] there are two different types of ticket guys uh 90 000 for um entrance and then four ride tickets or else sixty thousand if you don't want any ride tickets so i actually got one for ninety thousand i don't even know if i will go on the rides but we'll see oh my god look at this place it's so kitsch little venice this is pretty funny oh my god this is crazy they have literally made a replica of venus [Music] wow so here i am little venice this place is pretty random it's actually not that busy i thought it would be very busy like the tea place and the hill going up to the from the tea was super super busy and this is quite quiet i'm definitely like the only adult that's here like on by themselves as an adult everyone else is just like here with families it is definitely for families like you know there's these little ducks that you can go out on these little boat rides yeah and don't think it's like meant for just adults but whatever i have fun wherever i go and oh yeah here's a little mini eiffel tower oh i see a phone box from england check this out the eiffel tower let's go check out the phone box running look phone box from england hello the old school phone [Music] it's a better view of the park a vespa from italy this looks like a shrine from kyoto so you can go on a boat ride or you can go out on these little ducks these little paddle boats there's another boat heading out right now so i think this might be one of the rides one of the rooms let's see so this is like a photo room where you can take like fun i guess instagram pictures this place kind of reminds me of that museum i went to in jakarta which was the moja museum where each place you could take a really fun picture oh this is funny it's like that claw machine you know where you come and you have a pretty cool lightroom where you can take photos this one is super fun wow a cloud and then the mirror effect is pretty cool canals okay as i paid extra for my ticket i think i have four rides included i don't know what that means exactly but i'm gonna go down and check out these boats here's some of them mississippi boat gondola bumper boat let's see [Music] [Music] um [Music] i've just stopped off at the side of the road here because the views are super beautiful and i've noticed this really cool accommodation over here looks super cool all these sort of like individual huts or villas and i also see a zip line was just driving along and i looked to my right and i just seen this woman on a bicycle suspended above the teeth stopped off for some fried chicken at the side of the road and i met these guys hello guys and i'm going to show you their bike in a second they have a vespas vespa right bike is this one yes yours so this is your bike right how old is it how old hello guys so these guys want to be in the youtube you have to watch my youtube now look at this guy with these sunglasses you gotta love their bikes look at their bikes look at this one [Music] so to be honest guys it was a little bit of a stressful day today um the traffic was absolutely crazy i wish i had known that i probably shouldn't come to bogor or punjab at the weekend because i went up to punjab from bogor um today which is a sunday and it took almost three hours i think to get back to bogor and i think if you were in a car it would have taken probably five or six hours and it was just 30 kilometers just 30 kilometers so my plan for tonight was to go out and try um a pretty top rated nasty pedang restaurant but i'm too tired i don't want to get back on my scooter i don't want to go anywhere so i've actually just ordered domino's pizza not very cultural but i'm sure you guys know what it's like after a really long day of going out adventuring and getting stuck in the craziest traffic going back to jakarta all i really feel like is a pizza and watching netflix in bed yeah so sorry vagor i will not be eating your traditional food tonight because i got myself some domino's pizza
