Trying GOAT MEAT SOUP For The FIRST TIME!

in my last vlog i visited the haunted ghost palace hotel tasted exotic fruits at a local market and showed you around the mountain town of better ghoul in today's vlog i will be visiting the famous ulan danu beritan temple checking out the famous handara gate as well as tasting some goat meat soup at a night market outside of bedugul salah everyone from another beautiful morning here in bali indonesia we've just woken up in badougal in our beautiful homestay and now we've come to this super cute little cafe for some morning coffee so the name of the cafe [Music] seems they love is here the place we were at last night also had lots of vespas and there's a view out out onto these vegetable fields and we're sitting at one of these tables here thank you oh i decided to order pisang goreng hopefully i am saying that correctly fried banana pizza for breakfast it comes with some sort of sweet syrup and just a coffee to start the day and we have this quite nice view and i think it's [Music] strawberries [Music] we are starting our day here at a famous temple in central bali which is called ulan danu beretan it is on a beautiful lake and it is quite famous as the temple itself or part of the temple is in the water and during rainy season water surrounds the entire temple and during the dry season which is now so we'll see you can actually walk out to the temple which is in the water it's very beautiful there's landscaped gardens and it's just a very nice place to visit here um in badugu it is 75 000 rupiah for the ticket and they say that this temple here this temple used to be on the old 50 thousand rupiah note wow oh my god at the lake [Music] ulun danu beretan because we got here so early it actually feels like me and jeanette are the only people here let's see another tourist which is great for us oh there's a lot of water i wasn't sure because normally in dry season uh the water doesn't fully surround the temple but it looks like maybe maybe it does how beautiful is this guys so this one you pretty much always need a boat to get to this one in dry season normally you can actually walk out to flowers flowers everywhere [Music] ready just met this lovely family and now they're heading into the temple to uh say their prayers i guess look how beautiful this is [Music] [Music] [Music] i want to give you guys a few facts about this beautiful scenic temple here in fedugal so ulan dani veratan is set on this beautiful lake which is veritad lake they say the temple was built in the 17th century and because it is totally surrounded by mountains on almost all sides you've got munduk behind us um you've got more mountains in this ferugal area here it gives this kind of this dreamy very scenic um aesthetic and it kind of reminds me of tana lot and uluwatu temple which are two other famous temples here in bali so it's kind of like a dream for photographers as you can see the temple normally reflects perfectly in the lake which is normally quite still and calm except for a very light breeze blowing through you can actually hire boats and go out in the lake or you can go around the temple wow guys look at this mountain view low-lying clouds and then the beautiful baritone lake so guys last time i was here this wasn't actually here this wasn't built so looks like a sort of children's playground area where you can take photos you can walk across the leaves the lily pads into the middle across the bridge and all the way around hello god guys these photo spots are a little bit funny oh look oh look it makes a love heart like oh in the ground the reflection look it's not open yet but you can tell there's going to be lots of little photo spots here all the fake lily pads so you can go check out this dragon's head so because the water's so high they've put this plank so that they can get across to leave the offerings oh looks like jeanette made a new friend or two to make a new friend jeanette making friends here you can see all the little swan paddle boats that you can rent and you can also see one of two of pedigree's masks in the background so if you want to come to hand our gaze you have to buy a selfie ticket this is hilarious and it is 30k for maximum five minutes okay guys so they wanted to charge us 30k per person just take a photo i'm like i don't really need a photo i've been here before but jeanette wants a photo so she's paid 30k for her selfie ticket i didn't pay i'm just gonna take a photo of her and then we're gonna leave so we're trying to work out the best angle but the shadow is really cool here [Music] so we decided to actually check out the handara resort golf golf resort i guess it is um i've passed by the gate many times but we've never actually been to the hotel singaraja beer golf club golf course view we've come here to a little local market for dinner this place specializes in ghost cambing what have you ordered jeanette [Music] it's like some kind of soup i think we're actually copying what this man has ordered [Music] and then tempeh [Laughter] [Music] okay so we've got our daddy goat satay uh rice and then ginette that looks so good that's so good whatever like the spices are i'm gonna leave you one of these guys try oh yeah i'll put on your plate it's okay it was really chewy oh it's peanutty wow you guys found the gem here this is so good goats goat soup this guy does go stuff so this is goats making the soup okay guys so we finished our goat starter you could say and now we've come across to the next stand because the lady was super friendly and we've ordered some i am going which is just oh i still got some peanut stuff on my face it's a fried chicken with a few vegetables sauer and loads of spicy pasta is that spicy pasta i keep getting it wrong no don't
