Exploring Dead Xbox 360 Games before it's Too Late (emotional nostalgia)

[Music] it feels like it was yesterday you it  Microsoft reports 310,000 Xbox consoles sold Bros and literally having the best time  of my life go in the water boys I am in   the water no it's time fly I don't  [ __ ] have [ __ ] and with some of   its multiplayer games still up and running I  thought it'd be a good idea to revisit them   and explore how dead or alive these Xbox  360 games are in 2024 so let's get into it I'll never get tired of this introduction  to this game honestly like I just had such an   amazing time with this specific version  on this specific console damn over 10   years this [ __ ] going to bring a  tear to my eye right off the bat too early all right so I think the multiplayer is  definitely mini games yeah I remember I I I didn't   really play a lot of this I know there's like that  fighting one like the Hunger Games type beat uh   the gliding one and the shovel yeah tumble yeah  we've been playing it on stream a couple times   recently but let's just see we could find uh yeah  public game wait wait wait oh no join yeah all right wait what damn that quick yo I'm down  oh wait playing Minecraft Let's just change   the skin real quick another classic one oh  my God I remember taking a screenshot of   this skin and my homie in 2012 when we built  a terminal plane from Modern Warfare 2 oh my   God what a throwback I literally remember  that image so vividly let's get it damn bro   there's two people [ __ ] man [ __ ] Legends  play a quick game I'm so happy like I don't   know like people really do stick to their Roots  when they really love something that's just I   feel like it's really wholesome man oh [ __ ]  I don't feeling these guys are going to smack me oh [ __ ] okay oh [ __ ] I might actually [ __ ] him   up hold up come here right now it it's   a bit trippy to think about how there's  only me and the Speedy demon guy in the   whole like server database right now unless  there's like full games or games that are   unreachable somehow but yeah might just be us  to too for battle right now go check out the   rest of the mini games tumble AKA spliff oh  damn hold up damn nobody's playing tumble at all [ __ ] think anyone's going to join if I host  for a minute or two oh man time really does fly   when you're not really paying attention a lot  like I just feel like I don't know I feel like   we're never going to appreciate the moment  enough until it's really gone you know like   we could keep it in mind like oh enjoy while it  lasts but it really it really starts to hit when   it's nothing but a memory you know I don't know  there's just such a a weird nostalgic feel when   looking back upon things yeah I don't think  nobody's joining let's try last but not least Glide rip I don't think our look is with us slad  let's try battle one more time just oh now   there's nobody on battle Minecraft Xbox  360 Edition mini games activeness is safe   to say it's more more or less hanging on a  Lifeline at this less just going to enjoy the   environment Ambiance and all that you know but  yeah let's start off with Avatar laser Wars 2 one   my favorite Indie Games I play play pretty often  and last time we actually played a bit on stream   that was dope first game in like 5 years that was  incredible but most likely we'll be just walking around 3 are there all righty  let's see and we are alone alone alone it's just crazy man like there's literally a  whole generation that has never experienced the   Xbox 360 which is okay but you know I feel like  this console would have made everyone's childhood   every Gamer's childhood like the culture the  community toxic or not it it still made the   time feel so Lively and busy you know it felt so  like personal with a lot of personality if that   makes sense you know like from the Xbox sound  effects to the games itself the exclusive the   Indie Games the avatars like Xbox was offering so  much at the time and it's fading before our very   eyes literally before our very eyes but that's  okay even though nothing lasts forever memories do you cherish every moment you  [Music] have from the future on hell yeah [Music] all right it's been a minute since I played  this one but let's check out Ye Old Castle   Miner Z like I don't know I feel like I'd be  able to find a game on Castle Miner zy it's   like arguably the most popular indie game to  ever exist exist like I don't know all right   Castle Min Z oh one of these days I'm going  to find a random game I I just know it come on I guess we'll just try survival see if anybody   joins doubt it but [ __ ] it we'll  just enjoy cast Miner Z AKA walking around I miss how simple video games used  to be before the battle passes before the   microtransactions before the overly priced skins  before times changed I remember I used to play   Castle Minor Z like specifically like I think  it was like March or may but it was like like   the weather it is now it was like rainy and like  stormy outside I don't know whoa whoa whoa whoa   whoa whoa whoa buddy I'm trying to speak but yeah  I remember playing this when it was actually like   raining and storming outside looking out my window  and even Minecraft like man Minecraft yo playing   Minecraft in the dark while it's like raining  and you see like the the great Cloud light come   through the window and it's just I don't know  the ambience is just so awesome so nostalgic   as unironic as it is the zombies make this game  feel more alive even when you're walking around   alone and the dragon of course God damn always  seen that Dragon not trying to get merked by him   honestly let's go this way like just I don't  know the art of indie games and just Xbox 360   games in general that included your avatar  made it so unique man I just I loved it holy   [ __ ] man I just feel like we're never going  to get that same type of magical feel to a like   a video game culture or experience again maybe  the new generation will but our time was just a classic oh the music kicked in Dr for what  no [ __ ] way someone joined the game as the   music Started dude my heart is pumping bro  this is not it's just like I don't know knowing that some of  them will never wake up again is just crazy at   one point we all played you know it is what it  is but honestly revisiting these games in 2024   was not only hella of fun but such a Bittersweet  Blissful time like seeing the lack of popularity   yet the very few players I came across got me  feeling hella happy and Hell emotional from   how times just shifted and like I said with the  marketplace disappearing this year it's another   indication that the tides are shifting truly  the end of an iconic era in gaming history I   want to thank you
