hey guys in this video we're going to be showing you guys a portfolio review for a remote developer alright this guy lives in Colombia and he's been working on Fiverr you know he's been working on different clients online alright so definitely check him out especially if you're looking to become a remote developer or you are like an international student or somebody that's just a digital nomad and traveling the world maybe you could learn a little something from this portfolio alright guys so this is Andres little portfolio ok shout-out to him man so basically he's from Colombia he's a front-end developer multimedia engineer building cool stuff alright I like it right shoutout to to him I like this whole layout that he has here has some pretty nice colors nice gradients okay I like that Wow okay let's talk okay I like it alright very creative okay I could tell that he put in time on this portfolio okay everything's pretty smooth says he has three years of experience extensive professional experience skills in html5 css3 javascript jquery bootstrap sass bm7 pattern specializing in PSD to html5 semantic conversion working attention to details working knowledge of design tools such as sketch illustrator Photoshop currently learning react 16 and WordPress team development a very smart man okay if you are a remote developer or pretty much anybody that's working internationally right this is pretty much what you need to be learning because you know react is poppin and WordPress there's just a lot of opportunities day especially for freelancing he says I believe anything can be overcome through commitment hard work always up for learning new things yes that's the spirit okay so let's get ready so let's see what he got here ain't let's look at what he has okay he has thing where he says the process I like it right he's explaining his process of building websites he shows his qualifications multimedia engineering Universidad autónoma de Occidente even if you just put in information about some random product like try to do that it's better than having lorem ipsum because what what happens is that if you have lorem ipsum it looks like this is not a website for a client you want to make whoever comes to this website feel like them this guy's working for this brand this brand he's working for this company he's working for this other client etc even though you might not be working for anybody again but you want to make them feel like hey this is a real website okay now all the animations everything and it looks like j-man you know very good job man okay let me see what else what else you got here okay one thing I would do just from a user's perspective like try to make this clickable because if I come here and I look at this I can say hmm I want to click on it for whatever reason I'm just trying to click on it you get what I'm saying like I'm expecting this image to take me to the website okay you could have this things here right but make this image here be clickable to take you directly to the website because even though you have this button here and it's pretty cool looks nice but at the same time like the user is going to be clicking here like if I'm clear gonna trust me doc done Terrence that's him regular users is gonna be trying to click it okay hazel Izzy was the next one okay click here see a live morph cam okay nice I like it pretty cool all right nice what else we got here camera kits lens controls stabilizers latest nose this website looks pretty nice man I'll be honest with you it looks pretty damn legit it just looks clean right the animations look nice everything is working exactly how it supposed to okay let's see is a responsive let's see inspect element okay there you go pretty small pretty responsive nice you even made the menus responsive as well okay so I like it okay pretty damn nice let me see what I'll see half here let me see if I could close this you know what let's also do a little inspection let's do a little audit okay we usually don't do audits that much and this reviews but I feel like we need to start doing audits okay so we're gonna come here click on audit let's start with mobile okay run some audits see how it goes okay I know currently you have your your projects connected to directly to your portfolio I think maybe you should figure out a better way to do that just you know for whatever reason but performance wise is pretty good accessibility could use some work best practices probably could use a little work you can make this a progressive web app for sure especially since most of the things in here so JavaScript and it wouldn't take you that much again to make this into a progressive web app but as far as like how long it takes to paint it it looks like ok this is a real web site that he's done for a client there's something pretty cool a lot of details into this website okay and I wonder me for somebody that's not Portuguese I wonder how difficult was it for you to build this website and with all this different languages or this different language right let me see fala conozco okay pretty cool I think so far as far as the portfolio I think like this might be one of the best ones okay and at the same time you still have more here says show more okay you can see there's other ones alright nice animations okay websites look legit I wonder if you made this designs yourself or you had another designer because if you made it yourself it's like damn bro you know you the whole package right now so congrats on that man let me see okay pretty simple nice nice animation okay put in some details okay go back let's see what other projects he has nice now this is one of the things that I tell people at a time like you need to put yourself out there okay I don't know if you guys noticed but if you look at what undress he has he all right he put in like yo hire me on Fiverr rainy some of you guys be like oh man I don't know about fiber I'm gonna pay $5 as I bro it's not $5 you make way more than that okay so look at this Wow under this little 5.0 right so he's cutting in fiber right now okay you guys can definitely learn a lot from him like right he's from Colombia right so I don't even know how much money is let's say dollars to Colombia Colombian pesos it's a pesos three thousand four hundred twenty nine so damn that sounds crazy $1 this can't be true like the currency is crazy okay so $1 to the mid-facial Colombian pesos that sounds crazy let me see we I don't know maybe that's an old currency can be Colombian currency seriously especially like that damn okay so alright so let's say five dollars is 17 thousand pesos now I could imagine he could buy a couple of things with with that right I don't know how much he can buy but look at this man he's he's killing he got 450 projects that he's done man shoutout to undress yeah we need to get you on an interview bro just so you know see what you're working with and maybe people can learn from you okay because there's a lot of international students out here you know international developers that we want to get into something like fibre or what's the other one up work and all the other platforms and and they want to learn from somebody like yourself undressed see how you did it how you build your your platform okay cuz he got nine hundred and twenty three you know tasks that he has done it could be anything for five dollars and up okay cuz I like a look at this I will convert your PSD to responsive HTML right click here Lorraine and then let's see get quality or quantity okay five okay it's not bad man extra fast day ten fifteen dollars so it's not bad I mean I don't know how much money it is and you know you know fifteen dollars in Columbia but he's eating you know I mean he's eating out here right like you can't be mad at it okay and even at that he's already a level two seller so if he decides hey I want to start charging a higher price right and this is something that would love to to talk to hundreds I mean do most of his orders are on five dollars or can he get more than that because I know a lot of sellers day they start at five dollars and then once they get the reviews they'll bring it up to twenty five thirty dollars you know I've seen guys charging $150 for one page so I wonder you know like how much he's charging and if it's just five dollars every single every single thing okay and everybody seems to love them give them you know five stars so shout out to him but yeah like I said man definitely check out undressed little dot XY Z alright shout out to undress okay but yeah this is a very good portfolio and be honest with you guys this is why you want to be putting yourself out there on fiber and all this different platforms because as you can see this is real websites guys this is real websites for companies that he probably created through fiber right and it shows right it's not a to-do app it's not like hey guys check out my little JavaScript calculator like bro nobody cares about that right you gonna say so this is definitely something that you can you know jump on and just build your portfolio get real work okay and of course I know some people be so scared that this is beautiful this website looks nice people get scared all the time and they be like man I don't know you know I don't want to work for ten dollars five dollars or whatever you're charging online but you gotta remember this if you ain't doing that in your home and some money's coming in why would you deny it and at the same time because you're building real websites you're gonna get experience and the next job that you're gonna get now you have things to show for instead of just showing hey I just graduated from a boot camp I just graduated from college season my little degree show me some white boards like you get what I'm saying like now you have real projects that you can show for
