Is it just me, or does this begin with the opening bars of La Marseillaise? I feel attacked.

Love it. Though the pictures of the big breakfast and the roast dinner looked absolutely horrific

just chuck it oh that was a that was a header from a football game which is something is very British very British hi I'm Emily Blunt and I'm James McAvoy and we're here to discuss a typical British day breakfast also known as sometimes brekkie brekkie yeah kind of like that I would say that is a full English that's a full English breakfast you might also have fried bread on a regular day I still like to have some Marmite on toast now I'm trying to train my children to enjoy this fantastic spread the problem is that when you actually look at what it is it's yeast extract but I absolutely love it I used to have it twice a day breakfast and then ran home from school I had it again it's full of vitamin b12 and if you're in a malaria zone apparently eating a daily dose of this will help keep the mosquitoes at bay it's really good for you John no never dabbed on toast with lots of butter I'm really strong I feel like in America you've got New York Times and you've got maybe a couple of those that are those like highbrow ones we've got a handful action yeah The Times is what my dad reads still here we have a tabloid I don't know if you guys have a thing such as the tabloid we can say this is very classy paper an allotment is a piece of ground which is given over to small very clearly defined gardening patches and you apply to the government or the local council for access to and allotments a very cheap piece of land and grew whatever you want on it and you get whole communities of people like doing different things and sharing their produce and it's really beautiful the other thing oh this is nice roast beef those roast potatoes are not looking strong though I have to do those like chips Yorkshire pudding you must never ever make it from a mix guys ever it basically pancake mix so you do like a savory pancake mix and you bake it in the oven and it good but you know that wrote the trick is to leave the batter out all day I need them at Christmas and then what votes they came out like that oh I loved countdown it used to be on just after I came home from school so you come home you be a bit tired from school and you've got some mail and your watch countdown yeah it's the most elaborate form of Scrabble can I get a vowel please consonant please yeah but there's a lot of please and thank yous in Britain in general shopping or messages F fuel in Scotland you don't go for the shot and you go for the messages I'm just popping it again some messages and our ghost is a catalogue shop so you get like a big huge book and it's got a million different sections with a million different goodies in it from electrical to make up to toys TV watches TVs you pick what you want tape and a little computer go pay for it and then you've got to the counter and they just bring it to you and they've just got a warehouse of stuff behind them it usually takes a bit of time help me with some Becky's mama Oh fantastic come on go and go don't crack ammo we're taking this home this is what we call the builders T which is incredibly dark powerful strong team you're describing it like is the Dark Crystal is T I'd see this is stronger I think both of these it's like you put your spoon in it would just stand up right yep this light it's delicate that's what you get when you're in America a lot history people give you that and I'm always like aha HobNob classic dunking biscuit I grew up on these custard creams it's digested morning you know the thing that you used is a cheesecake base that's this but it's good dark chocolate you had a chocolate covered pop yes uh-huh you only got arrested but it please remind me of my Nana so much you always had them in the car when gums wine gums yeah I think they usually constantly have alcohol in them but you don't anymore Oh monster month they are hideously tart and salty I once I once knew a girl who traded herself on a Friday night going out and getting a two-liter bottle of soda she would empty Oh like I thought of it fill it up with vodka and then crunch their stuff into the top shake up and that would be her Friday night is this necessarily dinner material may be like a classic school huntingdon with beans baked beans on top and it smells like a charles growing up together what's casseroles no and what's the spaghetti bolognese that's basically only pasta the British people think exists all that other stuff it's just like cool people from Brooklyn invented those the British pub maybe not part of a chain there's no brewery that ones it's independent the floor should be a bit greasy and sticky from like centuries of booze yeah the carpet looks like it came from 1942 so does a landlord maybe and a proper good English pub bath or a British pub I think people know your name yes a bit lecturers I've only had one in my lifetime it was a pub called the Bank of friendship when it was everybody knew you when you went and it was great I usually like to have like a cup of tea before I go to bed my gran Ben's do that they're like oh we never sleep in like because you have caffeine before you go to bed yeah that's just a typical British day it's like we finish each other's sandwiches
