ELDEN RING: Strength Build Invasions!

yo what's up guys chase the bro here and welcome back to another elden ring invasion stream hello everybody hello no i am not late i'm always on time what do you mean hello prince hello tom what's up man hello nate what's up dallas how goes it ultra sin i'm good man how are you what's up one sec here hello how has everyone been hello okay there we go yeah today we're gonna be doing some strength invasions i haven't gotten to invade the past week as i've just been making content for uh the trip i'm taking in about a week and a half uh so yeah here we are strength invasions here's the build all the weapons that i plan to use for today it's kind of similar to when i was testing ashes of war but i put on the ones that i actually enjoy and i still have some unique ones that were a little bit of fun like i loved the the waves of darkness that was that was fun yo what's up uh yeah yeah i'm actually leaving at the early june basically for two weeks so i've just been making all the weapon showcases for you guys editing invasion content that i had and now now i have time to stream though so we'll be back to like semi daily streams for the next two weeks until i'm gone for the vacation but actually what do we want to start invading today i wanted to do some lane dell as i don't get invasions there on the showcases ever i try i really do but no one's there 120 so uh yeah i'm just taking a trip to colorado for two weeks strength means you can make stuff happen with the jar cannon of course that's why strength is my favorite right now actually there's just a lot of fun ashes of war on strength builds that's really it i can put anything i want on them i'm not limited to like let's say just the lightning ones if i'm like a faith build with the sacred ones or i guess strength has fire ice and heavy i don't know i like i like strength the best hey what's up the great brit how goes it man okay dude i don't know you think linda would be very active at all times you know because it's a big core city but for some reason it really isn't uh let's try see the wider terms oh yeah the halek tree is a good place for cannons for sure this character is level 80 to mix it up though as i've been 125 the past week for all the showcases and all the invasions for them so i just wanted to do some 80 again see where we got to invade uh yeah i know i might do that dallas uh we have the jar cannon so it's not too bad okay we got mega chad okay good first invasion no i hate getting spawned here though i always get cooked that's true it does turn into the action capital make but i am the level that most people would be at for lane dell so that's why i find it funny like i think in my playthrough i went to lanedale at around level 80 or even maybe 90. so i yeah i like the way this armor looks and i'm at least hitting the 61 uh level poise break that i enjoy so it works it's fashion and also good boys i'd like more but this makes it look decent at least hello guys what's up you guys are my first invasion is that a wizard how can you be a wizard and a mega chad that's just a lie that's just a bold face lie oh okay we go around this guy's running attack i don't know what he's about to cast but he's about to cast something sniper beam i haven't had to deal with that in a while mega chad doesn't have any health that's normal i suppose dodge sniper beam by sound and sound alone okay so he's got that shield just to be buffed up huh let's try for the fun of it oh he's going to be above me in a second or not he didn't go above me is that rivers of blood or is that moon veil they don't roll man they only know attack they're so brave yo garrett thank you so much man have i tried the night greatswords i don't know i can't say that i have not it doesn't come to mind the night's great sword i've tried of most of the great swords though oh my god he was going for the moon veil slap oh i didn't have the poise to tank that because i must have taken a hit earlier without noticing moonvale i just realized i don't have my buff going what am i doing may as well make ourselves even more powerful get our buff going i wonder if this will one shot the wizard now because it almost did and now i have the the strength knot which gives me 10 more strength so um these zombies aren't much cover i suppose okay we're gonna go to the castle oh well actually okay so he's got a bow that's not a big deal we can dodge that i care more about the moonville clipping me so i gotta watch over that unfortunate that we didn't hit him there oh stuck on a rock and the blue has the bloodhound stuff okay i just need to realize where i am okay this way leads forward i still have to do a soul level one run as well it's gonna be interesting with some of the bosses to dodge the wizard in the back or he would have died um okay we just need to hit the blue very hard i think oh i can't get his panic roll if he's got bloodhound on though okay although that almost did kill him so that's something let me think i wonder if i can get him with yeah i probably can't get him with this to be honest that guy's so smart he didn't he ran right through the fire oh my god the volcanic activity blue dead strength builds are so fun honestly hey why did we back off all of a sudden what happened maybe we can i haven't really found the sun bro at all he's done like absolutely nothing this is kind of like existing that would kill him oh my god fun fight though boys got hit by the horolu ash war the wizard had 800 hp i think i will never not say fought in seth it's too it's too embedded in my brain the jellyfish buff it doesn't make the wizarding uh hit hard but yeah okay that was good at least we got an invasion there what about the castle let's try the poison castle thank you so much though garrett i will try that out though eventually we're going to try every weapon for the weapon showcase so eventually i'll know every weapon yeah it's interesting also if you're guarding while you crouch you actually come right out of the couch so it's like speed crouch that's fun uh yeah i've tried some higher level ones myself cydra but they're only really active in a few areas like limgrave uh some parts of the lake of lyonia you don't get as much area variety as the other levels have i tried claymore with lion's claw no i've only really put that on ultras i guess that could do it does give you the instant hyper armor right so that could be fun let's go with the axe um oh well if that was a cliff i would have died hello there what is that is that a whip hmm whip flame whip okay i think he understood my plan what does that whip even do although we're not really learning because he's not really hitting us was it with it but don't fight in it was the that's the giant spray right or the flame giant with i think i think it was uh yeah i do want my my dual show cases at 125 as well i don't know i i've heard core requests to try some at like 150. i could give that a try to see how active the actual duals are at 150. there we go um let's try caleb giant's red braid that's what it's called aha i always forgot the name of that because i haven't used it uh yeah yeah i beat millennia at level 50 on my first pvp character say i had to be melanie i don't have to be melania but i like her helm so i did for the character 150 is just as busy at the main gate as 125 nice okay i mean i could try it out for certain weapons that might benefit from it i guess in the showcase so i'll look a variety up until now i've only been 125 for those duels though i do i believe the eldering hype has died down i think the the hype for the people that aren't into souls games yeah for sure like it it was like the the mainstream game for a couple months that it was released and you know then they they go to like whatever other game is new but the people that love souls i mean this is the newest souls game so it's going to be the heavily played one uh akinjin way sorry sorry if i pronounced that wrong uh but yeah i'd say the people that aren't super heavily into like souls games are probably gonna slow down on the the content of elden ring until the dlc but the people that enjoy it for like the pvp and it's their favorite type of game overall they'll be playing it that's why the player base is still pretty damn high for uh a souls game um this way i feel your pain i did her at level 50. yeah i at least had a bleed build so that helped me this way yeah thank you so much the man i appreciate that yeah yeah i've tried some of the higher levels me and my my other youtube friend lost tried invading at high levels but yeah again like it's active but it's only active in like certain areas we really want a soul level that lets us uh hit up all the areas of the map so like 80 and 138 seem to be my preference for activity um i do want to do some more horolu ash of war they're fun i don't know why i just really enjoy it um damn all right let's hope the bloody fingers bring us down there you can't bring yourself to go past 133. uh yeah i mean it's the same ish i think with 138 will only invade like a few levels higher and you'll get a few level lower so it's not a big deal if that number is nice for you what the guys i say that one thing they need to do in an update though fix these fingers they're just not it just go up it's worth up i think they're below me though yeah there we go pretty sure they were down here right or did i [ __ ] up heavily were they above me i was really thinking they were down here it is it is entertaining to see how people will handle horolu maybe they weren't down here maybe they were up higher oh wait i see him can i get up there though i assume i can yeah okay there he is that's that's nice for once the fingers worked for me oh i gotta go all the way over here hello boys all right we either kill them or we die because i want to try something nice worth it what do you think of that rip as a blood user we timed it well oh i love this ash of war it's so good it's just such a good time in uh it catches that one panic roll so well and it does so much damage so if you do panic roll it oof taking some high damage um okay we could do and kayla i don't think we'll get limb grave so let's go try over here maybe strength all the way i mean strength couldn't english there we go this area has always been kind of creepy but i enjoy invading it uh can you jump poorly you can so uh like just the best way to fight it i mean i'll put it on just to show you oops wrong weapon where is my oh there so when you get screamed at just don't panic roll and make sure you roll that or jump that so like this might stun you and then you need to time your roll accordingly for that uh then you could also jump the second half of it right so if they go for the second one you could just jump over that and heavy them uh i think i did it in one of the weapon showcases for the invasions but the reason it's good is it just confuses people when they first get hit by it because they're not expecting it right and then uh they panic roll so they get hit by the second part but yeah you can jump it have i ever been a blue in this like a hunter no not an elden ring yet elden ring is like the the strongest gank potential already like at least in dark souls 3 if you were a team you know you could be 4v2 and it sort of worked out because they had the environment but an elder ring it's like 3v1 so i don't really want to be a blue 3v1 wanting the same one but i guess it could be interesting if i did like a not very powerful build maybe like a meme or something maybe i'd do that uh let's go to the east capitol uh but the gravity spells like gravitas you can't jump yeah they have like a bubble that pull you in from all directions you can pull people off cliffs with that from above you it's pretty good i actually have it on my rapier just so i can use it for that reason oh yeah i need to try some more of the beast incantations because they scale off strength anyway right so i would just need to invest in a little bit more mind to do that with this yeah i'm really impartial and lovely and all but it just doesn't seem to be it we'll try the underground area though imposter blue that'd be pretty funny i don't know what you could really do just can't hit the teammates but that'd be funny oh damn this place is really good for the horolubor as well oh hello speaking of follow them ideas don't mind if i just oh my god well it was fun okay we'll put that away we'll put that away my god why does that work so well that's stupid how good it works that's two double kills yeah thank you you're right i forgot about that it's because they're always so close you it's it's the reason it's so effective is because like teammates are always like right beside each other ready to rambo you right and like they both get stunned by the scream because they're right on you and then they both roll and they both get hit by uh it's such a good like counter gank ash of war you really can't spam it though you gotta like pull it out of nowhere kind of like i do so they're not expecting it because then they'll probably jump it or dodge it they'll know but at that point but uh the black flame tornado yeah that could be good i have it on here oops i forgot to hold it ready sorry you have to spam it wait i've used this a bunch of times oh yep this is one you actually have to hold unlike the goat that you have to just uh spam l2 with yeah it is hold it you're right i used it on a corner once in a blue i forgot that you hold it that could be good i don't know it's hyper armor amount uh i don't know how useful that'd be but it could work the same way that horolues works we got weeb a fellow weeb um up top i'm guessing this axe looks cool as well someone told me to try this out for a weapon showcase soon so i was like hey i'll just give it a test for invasions as well oh it buffs itself oh i didn't know that what's this move set like okay that's not terrible oh yeah i they haven't had an update patch but i still have waves of darkness on my ultra or all my colossal even though i can't do the heavy attack follow-up that's sad because it's such a cool ash of war and if it also had that it would be like definitely one of my favorites [Music] oh hello there wait did he not have a son bro [Music] what what i'm i'm just more in awe that this did an aggro i've never ran by this and had it not be angry with me is he fog walling us or what's happening well for one i don't trust that he just triple buffed up there what weapons you got going on okay i should have known better than to trust the red that hit me dishonest red i don't trust you hmm [Music] okay i guess it is what it is i was going to stay in hmm it's got a lot of poise mega thank you to you okay we'll take this out then well he's got his buff flask going so that's something how many people expect that i guess uh fog walled me okay i guess this plane didn't go as well as you thought it would hey you get what you get if you attack me as a red you get what you deserve buddy all right let's get on here yeah there was a bounty on my head right there apparently this is the way yeah that red was very tanky damn dude i think i had to hit him like nine times i actually don't know how he was so tanky if you summon a red high level as well like that does it not get scaled very well just like regular summons that could be a thing because like regular high level phantoms don't get scaled that well in elden ring they'll still be very tanky because it doesn't do away with their equip load burden um yeah oh red down scale is even less oh geez really oh man okay that makes a lot of sense because yeah there's no way i could tank that amount of ultra pokes on this build um okay we go down here oh they're actually over here he had 2200 hp diddy hmm get full vigor i guess so yeah you can you can summon like a max level phantom as a red probably hello guys what is going on you hiding in the trees i see you um i mean i've gotten a lot of horolute kills today so i don't know maybe we'll mix it up with something else let's get our buff going hey hello there oh you hurt you hurt a lot okay let's go this way yeah i don't think he someone would like get their health like that with i don't know maybe he was like a full vigor built and just with a little bit of bleed um i need to get the wizard off me that's a wall what are we gonna do here i wanna try this but i need to not die to his a thousand damage and it comboed oh that's pretty cool i'll take that that's a that's a cool little pocket swap um what else have we not given a try to let's try a flaming strike give it some more love here the sun grows right on me i like that okay i probably could have hit him with the heavy right there but we didn't star wars that does good damage though oh where does the host come from what a sneaker i wasn't expecting that i have to say that called me really off guard he just snuck right around smash man oh good dodge i wasn't expecting it you don't like the lance sneaky wizard indeed the other one is not even a wizard this is a sneaky melee oh that does chip very high um okay maybe we'll do the horror league like this guy will get caught by it does he know there's a follow-up oh i'm out of fp no my meme entirely smash what do i have here glenstone pebble okay when you jump the wizard here's a wizard spell for you sir oh you can jump that that was entirely not on purpose i actually went to hit circle which makes it even oh god the sunbro is very laggy huh maybe that takes into account why oh that actually did hit me okay we're gonna have to watch out for that surprise okay now maybe he'll run into the second part no surprise okay you can get in and get it that's a good test though good to know good to know good day welcome boys welcome okay we wasted semesters testing some fun ashes of war that's okay though oh god he's just gonna reactionary dodge and do that huh okay let me think if we're going to be taking trades it's got to be like this actually you can do this as well oh enough to roll out of that lucky lucky yo marlin thank you so much for the membership man also in ambience thank you dude i still have one estes but we're gonna make him think we don't stay crouched menacing crouch uh the latency is so high with him what about you ladies he's not that high with you you're spoiling us with all the content chase keep doing that thank you though i appreciate it man that's because he's getting like packet lost this guy every now and then i can see it maybe we'll go with the [Music] i don't know what would be the best type of thing to pull up against someone with super high ping on this build that was a bad choice you were winning with what you had what yeah and now we'll pull out a halberd into rapier finish i guess there we go okay once we got him stun locked right there he was not really good at dodging yeah i think the mage is out of fp as if that hit him eli you got smacked by that that's unfortunate play more um this is better at chase downs and then we send this oh oh eli well fun fight fun fight fun fight in ambience though thank you so much man yeah i've been loving doing the showcases for you guys we'll get to do a little bit more streaming before i take that vacation it's pretty good i feel like this is good at uh hitting people that are just running away from you as well let's go with hmm where's interesting the the scarlet rot pit ah true true name invalid if i was a wizard i would have that ability currently we're not a wizard though yeah star max does have a follow-up um you can just hit l2 again and it does like two more hits but i believe those last two are not always a combo with the first three so depending on the situation it might be worth it to go for it but other times it might not if there's like a team of enemies around you you know i would say it's a bit risky but star wars wait which one yeah i have used acts of godfrey actually really close to when the game first came out it was like one of the like earlier invasion weapons i tried this as well this actually has a good combo spinning slash on the axe i wonder what other weapons that full combo is on because it comboed on the nagakiba that i did for the showcase so i wonder if there's a limit to like what weapons will get a full combo out of spinning slash like would it would a great sword be able to full combo maybe not yeah the dog akiva has really good range so that's why it works so well but if it works on a claymore or like a great sword that'd be also pretty good just for the damage output right yeah it depends on their poise as well for sure but i meant like that's why it would be cool to see if uh it works on a great sword because greatswords have really high poise do i think double naughty kiba is good for a blood build yeah i mean wielding in general i think is definitely one of the ways to go for bleed build up as you get double the bleed build up right when you land the double hits so yeah this does yeah it gets more crit damage can we admit that's the dragon slayer great axe yeah i mean it's almost it's a little smaller but the way the axe look uh yeah it's basically the same it's hilarious when you think about it um a scythe a little bit i don't what do i have on this slice i have double slash okay do we all the whips yeah the haslow and what what is the other whip the blood whip i don't have any whips on my strength build right now but dual whips are very good let me try the storm axe out a little bit more as well um up here excuse me my throat is dry hello there big ting man oh god okay you know what i've been meaning to try this what does this axe have has like a regular r1 okay hey big ting how are you man duel wielding halberds um we'll go with this yeah no buffs this feels like a a weapon showcase i'm not yet accustomed to their mooses oh i guarded before that so i got hit because i'm smart okay maybe the lance isn't to play here go with this pebble on one of those all right i don't fight double halberds like ever so i don't know what's running attack moveset yeah good attempt at the jumping attack though i think i'm better off with just this yeah so tanky okay 270. what do i have on this ice spear this would be a little bit better if it was this i have a means to an end here one thing i do have to get used to from dark souls 3 to this is not guarding between roles because it eats your input so sometimes if you try to like reaction roll and guard first you'll get smacked double the lens hmm that's got an interesting run attack but other than that dot didn't know that i had that ash board that could have been very bad it was funny it's my own bad though wow that almost beat my trade of my ash of war fun fight man very fun you should probably learn what ashes wore on my weapon i did this out of nowhere that's so funny dude i thought i don't even know what i thought i had on this uh my voice seems different new mic new software a new voice did you watch a video of mine from like five years ago cause then i have a new mic but if you watched a video recently the no although my throat is kind of sore today feels raspy i just got old i'm 29 i'm 27 i'll have you schedule lately so this is like close to when i wake up that's true ben that's true no one can predict you if even you don't know what's happening one of the best ways to fight surprise even yourself invasion here i'll try i doubt it though yeah would be cool actually let's go into the ancestral woods uh will you try the spear uh the bolt of grand sacks oh for sure the bolt of gran sacks is great i've used it quite a lot in invasions but yeah i'm definitely gonna make a video for it uh i turned 28 in september this year so i'm pretty close to being 28. [Music] or knock stella let's try knock stella j raid recently me and the boys have discovered the four person limited game your thoughts on this man really you went through thinking it might have six no i miss it too jared i miss it too that was one of the first things that uh we took note of when we tried the network test can only have four people in a world i hope one day that increased that but i kind of doubt it definitely is something i preferred to the dark souls 3 series though the player limit was better at six in my opinion yeah it is young and you are i wish yeah there was something about dark souls 3's 4v2 system that was just so good like it was it was good getting 4v1 was tough sometimes but at least you had the added bonus of usually having a co-invader so but yeah maybe the dlcs will add something who knows i mean it's their biggest game their most successful game perhaps they'll keep adding on to it um hello wait why is this in my head what did i want to try wait uh usually lone host cool hurry you have a teammate something suspicious about you this nothing appeared at me okay well i thought he was gonna get a surprise attack from some mimic but i guess not uh when would you give robots and drawstring grease a try i should give those a try i use them a little bit on my strength field at the beginning but then i kind of didn't because like crafting them is a pain in the butt and they don't usually yield that much damage increase but they can be useful for sure thank you renee i will give them more love though i should uh and isaac i should have waited for the ps5 now and stuck on xbox is the performance bad on xbox for this i haven't tried xbox in quite a long time so i don't know yeah i wonder how double slash would work on that shield about to find out we frosted him through the roll but it didn't do much so smack smack dodge i should have waited for the ps5 yeah i know the ps5 is probably better performance right because i haven't really tried anything on xbox in the longest time though fun fight cool warrior isaac thank you so much though man but also to be fair ps5s were definitely hard to get a hold of even now i see people still posting about when stores restock them so are they not sitting in stores yet i haven't gone out looking for one so yeah i like pc because it makes my recordings look the best right i can record in the 1440p my frame rate stays pretty damn steady like 90 percent 99 of the time i know there's some areas that i know give a little bit of frame loss but overall pc's performance for recording and content creation is like the best for me how do i stay so chill i don't know i'm just a really lazy guy to be honest rigen i feel like that accounts for a lot of my calmness you have a series x and it runs amazing that's good to hear i'm glad i wouldn't want it to have like really low fps issues on xbox yeah it's because you know i don't i don't even know how i would i guess you could use a capture card for console right but i've had the worst luck with capture cards my audio always desyncs and like i've used it for uh like exclusive games in the past like when i played demon souls right had to play that on playstation but yeah the audio was always a pain for me i always had to manually sync it pain in my butt oh wait a second could they be in the okay so they're either in the cave no they're over there okay i can go down i believe it does the same for you on your xbox as it is your playstation that's good oh the snow giant yeah the giant the snow giant's a weird boss it's because they travel so far from you when it rolls away um okay i'll just use the bloody finger i don't think i can get down there easily yeah it'd be really interesting to see like if playstation posted like live player accounts like steam always has that for steam charts right but playstation never does so it's always hard to tell like which one has a higher player base if you're gonna buy it based on that it was the same issue with like uh dark souls 3 as well fire giant yeah did i say snow giant oh i read snow giant my bad i think they mean the fire giant in the snow area i got what they meant snow giant hey that's the dlc i'm spoiling [ __ ] uh do you have to be in the cave to invade in the cave there yeah you would never invade someone who's in a cave while you're in the open world they're different like online areas so if you did it see this see how there's like a fog wall here this is this is the perfect example by the way as if the game brought me here but yeah this is the what these fingers man bringing me one step further each time it's funny i know all right oh there we go like what is can we talk about their like summon range i warp the same spot then about 10 feet away and then oh like i don't even know where i am now they were lower though they're definitely down here they're not on the mountain because i was up there and i saw their health bar are they in the swamp hey chase been watching you forever now trying to get an invasion with you what austin thank you so much of war though hmm though i think the best weapon would be something that can maybe uh stun and then roll catch with the lions claw but i haven't found the weapon that does that yet i tried it on the colossal sword it worked pretty damn well but it never like roll caught combo so you know maybe it would be good on a great sword to pull out of nowhere because people don't expect that kind of hyper armor on them anymore or um i had success with it on this vihander and the the great sword trying to think of other ones what is it limited to certain weapon types i'm so dedicated to this invasion yeah at this point i am i wasted all of my damn bloody fingers or what are they called recusant fingers if i don't find them soon we'll leave but i'm committed right now maybe on the gold stitch or on the stitch here with the running heavy yeah i don't know what the limits are for what you can uh attune that one to i know some like require colossal swords you could uh oh there you go there's certain ashes of war that only let you put it on like halibuts and stuff like the ice beer i almost forgot the name of it where are they jeez i am committed is he just standing here this is where he was right below me i just couldn't get to him my luck that's my luck okay let's try the warp docs a little bit hello there sir you see me i see you oh actually this might be the perfect opportunity people are used to hiding behind shields right so oh wait oh he's far rolling okay well smack in my face with a claymore wait is that a claymore are you a claymore enthusiast as well sir all right wow that actually does that much damage on the startup of it jeez all right ice spear is good for shields for sure where is this summon he summoned somebody did he not yeah they're pretty fun china honestly yeah all the weapons have been pretty good for the duels excuse me definitely less difficult than getting chased down by three people but you know you get to try out more fun things that way like i i tried out a whole bunch of interchangeable ashes of war in those series so it's a it's a good mix i like it is my outfit just for fashion it's like half and half so like i want 61 poise usually the minimum i want is like 56 to be able to tank like light weapons like a katana a straight sword a spear like take take their one-handed attack but i do enjoy having 61 to be able to survive the two-handed ones as well just one just poise tank one of them so 61 poise minimum and then i just like the passion so yeah i've been wearing melania's home since my first invasion i guess this is my helm that i like uh wait what about over here these are always ridiculous but we'll try it oh they're very strong marwin 100 especially if you use the buff on both of them this is ridiculously strong for sure uh yeah like i sometimes i'll have my strength build tailored to have the great sword if i have more equip load that's really it um the move set is nice because you get the r2 other than that though like it's really mostly the weight load the other weapons like 10 units higher almost right of weight so i need to weigh more investment into the endurance thank you dylan thank you so much man uh what's the best face said class so i didn't see that part of the question sorry uh the vagabond for the most part will be your best starting class unless you're gonna be like an arcane build obviously has the lowest arcane but uh if you're going strength or decks or something like strength something it's got a really good balance stat said that no matter what you reallocate to you'll most likely be the most optimal or be like one point under the most optimal class for all of my builds vagabond has been one of the best unless you're gonna be like a pure wizard then obviously you know you gotta go with the sorcerer but vagabond's been great for me yeah samurai and vagabond are like almost was what i went for unlocked all the areas all the map right did everything and then anytime i wanted to collect a weapon i had access to the area to do so and then you just create a backup save so like time i want to go reallocate now i still have all my larval tiers after i used one or two of them because i have that backup save state right so i can revert my game to before i reallocated so now i just my one character is my all-purpose character except for my wizard i did have to go through the game as an astrologer to be a wizard because they have better stat spread for a wizard so okay let's just go back to this area yeah exactly 88 you can save your save what you should do on pc because you might run into someone who's cheating and they might give you some invalid items uh that happened to me once i got given some unused content for the game so had i not backed up my save i would have got banned happened to a few other people yeah it's it's easier than you it's not easier than you think like it takes practice with the bosses nathan but uh using like the right build setup helps a lot bleed is your friend i i did i got i got the stupid what are they called again deathbed just look for people in the correct soul level and weapon matchmaking level and i really thought that fromsoft was going to do that for eldering because it's an open world game it's gigantic but they mean the bubble is pretty bad but if you're just gonna heal in someone's face uh the bubble would be good paired with the heel i suppose it's almost like a a free heal um bayonet i think strength by a little bit but i think decks can be more effective because lightning infusions can be more powerful than all the other elements because when you stand in water your lightning defense is lower if it's raining your lightning defense is lower i think overall lightning has the edge because of that and on top of that i can look at my stats right now no matter what build i have and my my flat lightning defense not my armor but my character's defense is gonna be the lowest at lightning always there's no like one stat that boosts it kind of like faith does holy you know uh strength would be my fire int is your magic it doesn't seem to be a stat that increases lightning defense yeah so i think technically lightning infusions are the best for damage output i was wondering how you run while you're in your inventory so my third hand no so my my thumb my right thumb hold circle and my index finger hits start and my that same thumb while holding circle is also hitting x so it's like i have the right half of my thumb hitting like holding circle while the left half clicks x to select the weapon i know it sounds weird it's not a normal way to claw or whatever but it's how i've always done it and i can't change it now at this point so it is what it is i use my third leg yes that's how it goes that's why i hold my controller in my lap uh yeah the star seals can be very useful depending on your level of vigor and like what you need from the source seal i don't really need it for this hey yo yo i wonder how that would work i wonder if there are people that have like some foot paddles uh for certain video games have like jump bound to like foot pedal that'd be so useful actually can't even lie that would feel natural too right because you're stomping your foot and jumping that's something i'd have to try out one day get one of those racing setups you know but use a controller instead you still have the gas pedal make that jump or something that'd be cool is that the claw seal yeah i'm just using it for a little bit of regen i don't often throw the be steel sling i have to swap on a ring to be able to use either of those heels or uh incantations so i use the one i need to that's really it yeah the pedals would be a good way to make up for anything actually i guess some people have like uh pro controllers as well and have the back paddles but i find those so uncomfortable am i weird like maybe if it was a button back there but not like the little like paddles they have find it not comfy to hold elden ring with a drum set oh my god oh like the rock band it on a blue in a corner and then i never used it again because i i was locked into it so i was like no oh yeah if you're going with the fire physic bayonet for sure and any fire buff that'll make it do ridiculous damage yeah what's more like the reason i mean they're not broken for roll catch they're just that's how roll catches should work the reason that light weapons and stuff are kind of worse than elden ring is active poise right so in dark souls 3 everything stunned you if you weren't in hyper armor frames so if someone got hit by a sword and they panic rolled you could roll catch them so if they just kept trying to spam dodge out of panic you'd be able to roll catch them but in an elden ring you need to use weapons that have enough poise damage to stagger somebody right so um straight swords and stuff just don't do it the same but those light weapons have really high burst damage as well so kind of makes up for it and they usually have like bead or something on them uh have i tried rosie's axe no not yet that's the intelligence x right i believe would you be willing to try a dual straight sword build and try the square off fascia four yeah i actually i used a little bit of do wield straight swords i put storm stomp on them uh just so we could get a trade out of it and go with the like 1l1 i did the same with uh curved swords as well but yeah maybe i'll try different ashes of war on the dual straight sword build we could try a whole bunch of them tokyo i'm gonna be trying everything eventually any recommendations on the best straight swords you guys like i haven't used them a lot so yeah that's fair chris i mean yeah the timing is tight for some of it you really have to like react roll it but against the three-man team you know chris that'll happen to you no matter what i feel your pain um let's go with actually i kind of like this helper we'll try it out a little bit more i was enjoying that the noble slender yeah they seem like one of the longest if not the longest one that i've seen about to try those out one poison and one rot on a straight sword that's evil yeah i haven't actually is there a base long sword in this game i haven't used it i um hello give a bow so if you have a colossal likes vihander let's say you can poke oh wait this one has a better ash borer and you'll get a combo into the what is that sword spell called frank why am i forgetting i used it quite a lot piercer slasher whatever won the slashes carrion slicer there we go my english fun fight bidden why am i calling a carrion piercer yeah carrying slicer so uh i believe i had max cast speed on the build yeah i think you need max cast speed so i i want to hand it to this right-hander i crouch poked and then i was able to combo that into the just the slicer it worked uh colossal pokemon to catch flame combos too oh so it works for both the faith caster iron in caster okay that is cool or alternatively you can uh poke with a sy and probably roll catch with the carry and piercer it just seems like that would line up and work well you'd even combos with low decks and lose that stuff really alien i only tried it on my max cast speed one because i was holding the uh what did i have oh yeah the talisman that gave me plus 30 and i had 40 decks that was my like really high level character that i was just messing around with on lost pain train oh god you can make it hit the third wave and the panic roll right and then after that i did an r2 but you can do a lot of mix-ups yeah it's it's good r2 for sure it's a good one uh i did do a lot of pve stuff for my wizard build uh silly because i had to i had to go beat the game again right but since then i haven't really i've been mostly uh testing out weapons pvp i definitely will do more pve runs in the future though yeah there's benefits to zveyhander great but like the most thing that people think people use the most on like ultras is definitely the poke and the greatsword just has so much damage so depends on what you're going for i guess no i haven't i mean i used war cry a little bit but there's certain weapons that i've i've heard get interesting moveset mix-ups because of war crime i have to figure out which ones have like an interesting r2 yeah well no i mean the r2 is fine it's still a thrust attack philip i just meant like the the sorry i meant the thrust attacks or what people use the most right so yeah this then this fight handler has the rt thrust whereas yeah the greatswords r2 isn't as good does more damage on the poke though depends on like if you want to be comboing the poke and the stuff or what yeah some of you what's this one have the slash i really think i would have preferred the the overhead slam but this is a good mix of still you can like crouch come out of crouch confuse people and try and throw off the timing with it it's hard to say what i like more but how'd i become good at spacing honestly just time investment fairy i played like dark souls 3 for its like lifespan so i got used to like spacing weapons and stuff it does look cool though yeah at least you can recover out of it pretty quick like the running attacks not the worst oh yeah i lose from time to time i shot i just i just win a lot more so like on average if you're watching you just won't see me die much but i have a loss every now and then on the invasions ever range huh so they're kind of like three casters which is kind of difficult i don't have much long range capability i have this he's fine they're gonna ambush me though i can tell i can tell maybe not odd now they're up there i see you that doesn't even like insta combo anymore it still works i guess but i definitely see it a lot less wizard we play the patience game when there's multiple casters souls 3 because it's a peer-to-peer connection right so with a server or something lagging doesn't really benefit the player lagging there's been times where like you know you can trade with somebody uh and they won't take damage because they have packet loss so then they could like spam roll and dodge the damage after because they take the incoming packets after just because of the way the connections are in elden ring and dark souls 3. uh thoughts on bloodhound claws i've actually never really used them um i've used the other two claws but i assume bloodhound's very similar this has can swap to these four that i like for different reasons and same over here for this right hander and uh so forth kind of build around certain weapons yeah it does damage you're right just not the gives you a damage reduction buff cool i've never actually been beside one that did that i guess this is just the glaive i think it's how do you set up your builds you get it by farming behind celia running first unless you're a keyboard player like here let me show you like i'm running right if i open my menu i have to keep holding run the whole time but then you have access to running movement while in the menu on keyboard though if i go into my menu first god i'm slow on this because my my mouse dpi is really low right now but uh i can run while my menu is open you can actually start and stop running whenever you want with the keyboard i've always wondered how do you control there's some bonuses but what i do is i just i run before i open it you have to be already running he claws oh no i think he meant like how do i how am i able to run but yeah you have to run before you open the menu yeah sometimes if you're running like if you let go of run while in the menu you you have to hit circle again to run which will put you back one menu and you have to reopen it so yeah i can see why it's annoying on keyboard they at least get to do it whenever i don't know why i guess because their space bar is bound to run not exit menu whereas uh assange controller our circle is run and both exit menu at the same time so yeah you gotta run first i don't have thumbs with three digits what
