Elden Ring Seamless Coop Mod Tutorial | How to Install & Set Up!

the multiplayer and Alden ring kind of sucks I'm going to show you how to fix that with the seamless Co-op mod alright so first thing we're going to want to do is head on over to nexismods.com I'll leave a link to this exact page on the top of the description once you're here you're just going to want to scroll down hit the files tab and hit manual download and once it starts downloading you may get this message you can just hit this up arrow and hit keep so now once you have the folder you can open it once you open it up you're just going to want to extract the files so these are the two files you downloaded next we're going to want to put these in the Elder and game files so I'll show you a quick and easy way to get there if you don't already know how so on Steam on the home page just go to your library find Elden ring right click it go manage browse local files and it'll open them right up so once you're here you're going to want to click game and this is where you're going to copy those other files that you just downloaded into so just drag them put them in here so you got seamless Co-op and launch Alden ring seamless co-op.exe so first before moving on you're going to want to click seamless Co-op go into seamless Co-op settings a little notepad will pop up and this is where you're going to set a password for your Co-op world so others can't join you only people with the same password as you so you want to go down to co-op password equals and this is where you're going to put your password so in this case I'll just put Elden ring one two three and if you're happy with your password you just hit file save now you can close out of this now once you're back in here you're going to want to go down to launch eldering seamless Co-op this is how you actually launch the seamless Co-op it's different than the actual Elden ring launcher itself so one thing I like to do just to keep it simpler so you don't have to come into this folder every time you want to launch seamless Co-op you can just right click on this create shortcut it'll create a shortcut right underneath it just copy that and paste it on your desktop one other thing you could do really quick to make it look cleaner is you just right click it hit rename and name it to whatever you want now we can just go ahead and click on it to launch the game so once the game launches you're just going to want to hit any button you're going to get a few pop-ups don't worry about this you just skip through them so on the main menu you're just going to proceed as normal you can either click the new game create a new character or you can actually load in an existing character you have from the original game which I'm going to show you guys how to do later in this video if you're only interested in that just skip to this time step on screen but if you're creating a new character I'm going to show you some things you got to know before you can get right into Co-op so on your new character once you get to this first outside Grace site this is where you can actually start playing with other friends when you go to your inventory you're going to notice there's four new items that aren't in the actual game itself so first you got the tiny gray pot this is what you use to host the world for you and your friends so you would just hit select use yes and now your world is open to your friends to join the second item is what you use to join a friend's world and because we set that password earlier in the files if your friend has the exact same password in that file when you use this it'll automatically link you into their world this third item is the separation Mist basically what this does is when you're in somebody else's world and you use this it just disconnects you from theirs and puts you back into your own world the fourth is the rule book when you use this this allows you to turn friendly fire on and off so now I'm going to show you guys how to import an existing Alden Ring character you have on the original game to the co-op mode so you're going to want to open up your file explorer go down to your C drive and from here you're going to want to click on this top view Tab and you're going to want to make sure hidden items and file name extensions is checked both of those have to be checked so now you're going to go down to users you're going to click on your name you're going to go down to app data roaming and I'm going to find Alden ring click on Alden ring and you're going to click this top folder with the numbers and from here these are your actual saved files for your existing characters so you're going to take this one that says dot SL2 so you're just going to right click copy now paste this to your desktop really quick and on your desktop you're going to want to right click the file rename and you're going to want to get rid of this SL2 input CO2 and just hit enter and when you hit enter you're going to get this pop-up just hit yes now take this file and drag it back into here when you drag it back in you're going to get this pop-up just hit replace the file in this destination and once you do that you can just close this launch Elden ring Co-op again and now that you're on the main menu you're just going to hit load game and the character you just imported from the original game should be here and you're just going to want to
