DUBAI TO NASHVILLE | Qantas Airways | Home for the Weekend!

foreign hello okay we're coming doors closing going down first floor doors opening the passport everything you said i hope so ah that looks super weird let's just hold it we finally made it to the lounge finally got some coffee good morning from the dubai airport first of any today today we have a 30 hour i was gonna say 30 hour travel day but i guess that's actually more than a day we have 30 hours of travel to go home for the weekend to attend a wedding and then we are hitting the road again so we are officially leaving the gulf states and we're both a little sad about it it's been a really good month and we know that there's so much more to do here so we have to come back like there's no doubt in my mind that we are coming back our long travel day starts with the eight-hour flight to london [Music] getting on a double-decker plane we are flying on a qantas a380 and an a380 is a plane that has two levels all the way across also we are really hoping that we have this out all to ourselves we only slept for about four hours last night my eyes bloodshot i'm just tired thinking about how tired we're gonna be by the time we get back to nashville please nobody sit next to us please nobody sit next to us also i can't see anything out the window the wing is so huge and we're sitting right over the top of it it's just white metal so no views for the flight today it's boarding over did we get seat are you the seat oh it's okay nobody's sitting here alexander there's nothing to worry about nine hours it's gonna be so much more pleasant i don't hate people i just like space welcome to the spirit of australia and have a great flight [Music] please make sure your window shades are up and your seatbelt fastened for the landing everyone's getting off the plane it's finishing your show eight hours later we have landed in london it's a great flight i seriously love quantus they all the people on every qantas volume had been so nice all the old seas food was good had tons of room so i got some good sleep watch some good tv travel day is off to a good start yeah it's really good we're in the terminal that we're flying out from now i have a straight to a while for a shower layover i think i need to look at that okay turns out we do not have four hours we have ten minutes our price hurts the four minutes we're gonna make it we're gonna make it not helpful the good news is we're getting our exercise so when i said we had 10 minutes we hadn't even cleared security yet thankfully there was not a line at security we're definitely going to make this flight i can see the gate i think the mistake somewhere i saw that we had four hours but that didn't take into account the four hour time change from dubai to london so that's why we're rushing target i don't know where i saw that we it was it would have been super likely for us to go sit in a lounge and just not even look at the board for another hour you would think we would be better at this after two full years we're gonna make it it's all good oh there's our gate and we're stuck on this we're stuck on this walkway jump over the ledge let's go to dallas we made it it's not even we did make it on the flight but we were one of the last ones because cara got a special safety check again for those of you who have never had the quadruple s before it basically is like you're a threat to getting on the plane security you really need to watch this person so you get a bunch of extra checks since you're getting on the plane but she passed the lady did have a lot of questions about what we've been doing in the gulf states for the past four weeks though but they're very nice and we made it and this plane has tvs and outlets let's charge my computer edit a vlog unfortunately we don't have a window seat we're stuck in the middle so no takeoff or landing shots let me go with an extra seat i think it was worth it could be worse [Applause] it never fails every single time no matter how hard i try it takes a picture before i'm ready i think they do it on purpose it's like smile for the camera but it's already taken it we haven't had like any lounge time on this trip but we are about to redeem it because we just landed in dallas which is where one of our favorite domestic lounges is and we have just enough time for tacos bye thank you always had to leave that place but happy we're going home one more flight last spot of the day is always super let down it's like this tiny plane no food or drink served you weren't even gonna tell me we know you have lots of choices so thanks for choosing american we're happy to be your have a handheld airline please switch it to airplay home now please pay close attention and before you know it we'll be off we are arriving at c10 that's charlie 10. our alarms went off about 28 hours ago in dubai and we have been on a plane for about 24 of those hours one of our most efficient travel days also some of the least time we've ever spent in a lounge while we've been traveling this long oh it's been kind of boring normally when we come home we're home for a very long period of time this time is totally different we're only home for three days we're here for a wedding so the next video that you see will probably be us leaving for aruba for another wedding sorry today's video was kind of not interesting it's kind of hard over a span of almost 30 hours knowing if you really have a story or what you've captured especially when we're happy and when you're sitting in the same seat for pretty much 20 well three different seats but like sitting in a seat for 24 hours not near a window my dad's here to pick us up [Music] so for our 100k giveaway we are giving away a free trip for one person and a friend to do the ever space
