Dude was wasted. I actually feel bad for the guy. Don’t get me wrong he needs to be fired and face criminal/civil consequences, but obviously there’s a lot of shit going on in his life. This is probably rock bottom in his journey through addiction. Really hope he gets the help he needs and is able to build a successful career in another field. He’s lucky he didn’t kill someone instead.

This is so sad, I feel for everyone involved. I'm really glad they didn't just let him off too. While his police career is likely over forever, it's probably a huge wake-up call and might put him on the path to recovery.
