Drift fishing for Catfish Basics: Real Action

it's where I won't be 54 foot of water we are directly in the main river channel of the Tennessee River the old riverbed we're going to drift down these contours get my game boy hooked up there so I can stay on that ledge we're gonna start alright a lot of guys asked me how often I changed my baits the first drift we made this morning I put all fresh baits on and we worked them for probably an iron iron 15 minutes we soaked them in the water that long they probably would catch some fish but I just feel better if we go ahead and now win a new new spot to put all fresh bait on it but I guess the answer a lot a lot of guys questions about our iron half especially when you move to a new spot again we're one big fish so I'm gonna cut big baits in my preferred presentation method today there's gonna be a suspended drift and we're gonna control that drift I like to sling out after like that and it kind of keep tension while I'm letting it to the bottom on it so so doesn't that big bait doesn't start twirling and wrap everything up by the time it hits the bottom you just got a big tangled mess we need to go cross river alright it hit bottom we'll crank it up three or four or five times till we see what they want I always stay in contact with that sinker feeling it as it drops down it would save you a lot of time from the tangle like I said any hit bottom yeah that sounds getting right now all right let's get our drift starters and hopefully we can nail us a Big Daddy oh that one air I can today now take what I've settled you here and apply it to uh you know other rivers and Palmas can have rivers or creeks to run to get on those Creek edges or channel edges and drift some banks suspend some baked over and the catfish one hopefully will bite your line two I'll leave there will be a 60 pound hit that okay guys again thanks for watching my videos hope you come back and check us out again
