so there's a DLC leak that has been circulating the Dragon stma 2 Community for a couple of days now and while it seems this Anonymous leaker is just mirroring the needs and feedback from the community some of the information revealed here could actually make sense when looking at information we already have from the dark Arison expansion and dragon stma online therefore in this video we're going to do a thought exercise and analyze all the information laid out here what parts of this can be true and what is clearly just FSE false information that would not really make sense here let's start with the title the composition of this title art looks a little bit off in my opinion but it could also just be an early design proposal we see here from a design standpoint it would make sense for them to create a new dragon and not just change the Hue so that it looks blue instead the blue tint on the dragon we see here does hint at another game Capcom released after dragon stma that was initially dubbed a sequel only released to the Japanese market and shut down a few years later made Dragon stma online a Hidden Gem only a few people in the west got to try out the community have over the years actually brought back this game and it's playable for everyone in its current state but the reason I bring up this is the title The leaker is suggesting here the dragon princess although I don't have a complete understanding of the deeper lore in the online version on a surface level we know that there was in fact a priestess of the rift named missel who served as the spokesperson for the white dragon the guardian of lania maybe they want to further build on the current lore they already have presented in the MMO there are theories being developed in the community that suggest the lore in these two games are connected in more ways than we realize yet but I'm going to create a separate video to go through that in detail for now we know that a dragon princess could make sense from a Lura perspective but how it will play out is still hard to guess at this point all right we have covered the title so let's take a closer look at the notes here it says that DLC is considerably bigger than dark risen now looking back at how much that DLC added to the game in terms of content it was absolutely massive a new underground realm to explore featuring over 30 new enemies and a final new boss 58 new level three skills over 100 pieces of new equipment 14 new augments and a new equipment enhancement system that let us upgrade Beyond Dragon forging so saying that the DLC for Dragon stma 2 is going to be considerably bigger than dark risen implies this DLC will have more than new enemies more equipment more skills and augments considering the amount of enemy types in the sequel is actually reduced from the first game it sounds a bit farfetched to believe a DLC will actually have more content than the base game this could be capcom's way of creating a complete package with main game plus DLC that gives us the full picture of what Dragon Dogma aspires to become as a game in the future of course we know for a fact that ituna and his team already have been working on a DLC alongside development of Dragon Dogma 2 since they have been asking the player base for feedback on what we want in an upcoming DLC so a DLC for Dragon stor War 2 is to be expected we just don't know where they will take it personally I'm hoping we get to see parts of this DLC unfold on the moon since this was something they planned for the first game that was cut from the final release the next thing they are suggesting here is that the DLC isn't planning to alter content from the base game now in the first game the changes the DLC brought with it was for the most part confined to beer Black Island but there was added some changes to the main game like the addition of an eternal Fairy Stone and four more Port crystals to be collected from quest locations making travel a lot easier we already know they have made travel much harder in the sequel so these changes are welcome in DLC package there are other gameplay tweaks and balancing I think the base game could benefit from so I don't really believe what they write here will be the case and I would expect changes to the base game as well now this next part is interesting it states new area is swamp and Tundra of a country called galassia based on northern European countries it's about the size of the main map in the game batal and wenworth it will be accessible by some points in the east of wenworth the first part of this seems to be written by mizaki and a swamp area is something I wouldn't expect in the Dragon stma Universe but a tundra and snowy area filled with new enemies that would fit this biome would be amazing it's something I always wanted in Dragon's Dogma but the name galassia doesn't really make sense to me then again neither does windworth or batal either way the snowy region suggested here could be realistic For an upcoming DLC so while these locations could be true I have a much harder time believing that these new regions will be as big as batala and wenworth combined looking at the map here there is not much space left for such a big expansion unless it's an island like B black Isle or the area from which the DLC is entered from to the east of wenworth reveals a much bigger map on the right side here if this is true then what they State about the price of the DLC at around $30 sounds about right they also state that this DLC will be the biggest Capcom have ever made which let's just face it will be hard to pull off after Monster Hunter iceborn next they state that there will be around 10 new big monsters and around 35 new enemy types A giant snow troll a spidered bear poison wyvern and curus and that Hydra and cockatrice are not one of them considering we have around 19 enemy types and 12 big monsters in the base game getting a DLC that adds 45 new enemy encounters versus the 31 we have in the base game is pretty unrealistic but again a welcome addition to the enemy variety that is somewhat Limited in Dragon storm one 2 at the moment I would say reduce the amount of goblins and add 5 to 10 new enemy types you can encounter often and remove the [ __ ] harpies one thing that seems strange to me is what they call a spidered bear there is no way this could be an actual spider bear but when I go Google's spined bear I found that it's an actual plant maybe we get an enemy variety like the giant Elden ring flowers that spew out poison because they are also mentioning poison wyvern hair poison and infected enemies is something first introduced in Dragon stma online where we got many new vars of enemies that had this infection growing on them this added a completely new mechanic and those enemies and bosses needed to be tackled differently which was a great addition to combat that felt new and rewarding to fight it's funny that they mentioned the cockatrice and Hydra since these enemies are kind of brought back as two of the five Defenders of the brine you fight in the unored world lastly they mention the release date is in November which sounds way too early in my opinion but if ituna had a team working on the DLC alongside the base game over the last 5 years then yeah November might not be all that unrealistic anymore
