Don't Take Off Until You See This! MSFS2020 PMDG 737 Start-Up Tutorial Made Easy | XBOX & PC

foreign [Music] what's up good afternoon everybody pilot 83 here continuing our tutorials on the pmbg 737 I'm gonna go ahead and throw this video in here before my sim brief video that tutorial will be out either late tonight or tomorrow in this video we're gonna do our code of dark start because a lot of y'all requested for me to do it after I told you all I would if I needed that help let's get to it let's make it really easy to do boom We are on the Xbox console we're on the series X but for what I've seen it's working fight all the s as well but okay let's go ahead and get it going so if y'all are in this plane and your plane is already started up and you're not sure why that is I will show you but first to get to that point let's go ahead go to our overhead panel guys now I'm going to make this easy as possible we're just going to click All Battery okay go to standby power we're going to click that to battery so we're going to go two dashes to the left and I'll keep it by these switches are a little fitticky so my power close that Okay so like I said if your plate is already turned on you're not sure why you go to your FMC right here if you go to podg setup right here you'll see startup state if you click this you'll see options right here click the word you what they click execute then press pause and then just restart your flight and when you go back here the plate will be cold and dark all right so we're going to return go back to menu and go to FS actions we're going to go to groud services we're going to request ground power GPU foreign so once we have that connected up we'll go back to the overhead paddle and we're now going to switch all the ground power click it down all right you're going to hear I'd always change right there so you'll know that if you have that correct then let's go ahead and go to our window Heats there's going to be four switches we're going to click two on the left two on the right boom all right at this point uh this is what I do this you can go to your IRS mode left and right click both of those two notches over to nav okay and in this point here this is what you would go to video you can go to FLC we'd go ahead and light up our IRS right here as well so you did go to position initialization click on the last node position and we'll put that in the empty boxes down there there you go okay so we got that now let's go back to the overhead panel again we're not going to turn all our Apu power there is a on and a star we're going to click it down two notches and hold it till it pops back like that okay we're not gonna wait for this blue light right here to come on it takes it a minute as it would in real life so we'll wait for that and then after that we're going to turn out our Apu generators left and right just these two right here at this point we can also turn on arm left feel right here or left aft so there's two switches click both of those all right you see that light just popped up so now we're going to click that down until it does that it's gonna pop back up for you both those orange lights are going to go off that were up there go ahead and turn on our Apu bleed okay let's go ahead and now turn on all our fill pops the other four that are remaining now let's also turn on our hydraulics maybe two switches right here click those down perfect all right now we're going to start starting the engines so first we're going to go to our right digit we're going to click it to ground look right here this is going to start climbing when it hits 3.2 where are they going to come down here to the edge of to start we're going to take it from cut off to idle 3.2 there we go click engine 2. y'all now hear the engine coming on we're starting to build we're gonna wait till we hear a click for the overhead pedal and then we will move on and repeat that for engine one boom we heard the click through engine one to ground waiting for the same process to happen gonna wait for that to get to 3.2 and then we will go back down here and we will click engine one 3.2 go ahead click I absolutely love the sound of these engines on this plane the yellow lights are all going to turn off once this engine is up this should go off once we hear that click there we go all right so we now have both engines running perfect all right so back to the overhead panel we're now going to switch away from our ground power so let's go ahead turn on generator left and right so click these down our AP generators left to right we're going to click those back off if you just click it like I did there because that switch is fit a key ah just click that back down okay I'll power off turn our Apu bleed off now we get turned off our APU the light's gonna go out let's go ahead turn all the left and right packs all right you go here those fans right there you go hear the air so you know you got that going turn your yaw damper on go to your emergency exit lights you're going to arm those all right go up here to proheats left and right turn those on you see where we get rid of all these orange lights all right now the plane is fully started we're going to clear the Smasher call best set which we're not doing in this video but uh this wouldn't we could all put in our F of best wish we could do that before but you could put in your flight plan and set all that up as well and get all that configured for this plane this video is just how to start the planes engines and get it ready to do all those things but uh that simple guys go ahead close this boom um you can set your cabin altitude all that depending on what you put your Echo best system at this point but uh yep guys it's that easy not a not uh hard to do um you then you'd want to go back to your menu by the way and you know what to remove your chalks at this point as well so we go back to growl services here we go we could also get rid of the stairway or you could just re-click this again like me it makes it easier then
