Don’t Mention the MARK OF THE BEAST - Fr. Mark Goring, CC

praise be jesus christ we're living in apocalyptic times because we see humanity reaching new lows lows it has never reached before and that's why in this time we see blood flowing from the wounds of christ through the saints and mystics saint padre pio blessed alexandrina da costa saint myriam of bethlehem the visionary from argentina gladys approved marion apparitions in argentina the visionary with with the stigmata and so many more the lord is trying to get our attention he wants us to see that humanity is going in the wrong direction now what's very interesting is in this time if you mention the mark of the beast people freak out and to me that's very telling you see the lord commanded us to read the signs of the times and we've always been instructed to be aware now let's read what revelation says about the mark of the basis in chapter 13 of revelation it says john says then i saw another beast and he goes on and says also it causes all both small and great both rich and poor both free and slave to be marked on the right hand of the four on the right hand or the forehead so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark that is the name of the beast or the number of its name this calls for wisdom let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast for it is a human number its number is 666. now this this scripture passage it's filled with biblical imagery and symbolism that we won't get into here but we understand so much of what this is pointing to and the church has always taught that what we hear about in revelation is things that have already happened and been fulfilled at the time of the writing or shortly after the writing so they've already happened and been fulfilled and these are things that also manifest themselves in every generation so a high school student has a conversion to the lord jesus starts reading the bible reads about the mark of the beast and says wait a minute that's kind of like my high school people have to do this bad thing if they want to be in the in crowd if you want to be in the in crowd you have to be in a sense marked by behavior that is offensive to god and the the high school student realizes this is manifesting itself even in my time so the mark of the beast has already been fulfilled is being manifest in each generation each time and there will be an ultimate fulfillment and so there's nothing wrong with looking at the times and discerning is there some manifestation of this today or are we headed towards some manifestation of this and the reason i bring this up is we're living at a time if you mention the mark of the beast people freak out they uh ridicule you and they try to silence you and to me that's very telling perhaps we are headed in the direction of some great manifestation of the mark of the beast and i'm allowed to say this the lord commanded us to discern he commanded us to to read the scriptures to be wise now the gravity of our times we need to be aware of them saint faustina the the lord she reports the lord saying to her speak to the world about my mercy it is a sign for the end times after it will come the day of justice you will prepare the world for my final coming tell souls about the great mercy of mine because the awful day the day of my justice is near and there are other passages similar to this now i want to be very clear i don't like people who kind of do deep dives into all of these different conspiracy theories to me if you have saints approved by the church if you have apparitions of the blessed virgin mary approved by the church things like this yes hear what they are saying see what what they're what they're pointing to but keep your eyes on the lord jesus don't kind of get swept away by the latest conspiracy theory filled with fear we're not supposed to be afraid we're supposed to be fearless but we're also supposed to be awake and discerning and wise and we're supposed to read the signs of the times viva cristore
