and we continuously give you the there's no praise like you but we thank you for the word that residing in our hearts lord we know if the word desires in our heart again through faith all things are possible lord we can heal the sick men broken relationships lord through the word again we thank you for the word in your holy spirit we thank you for your holy spirit lord that guys in the way that we should go and seals us lord until the day of redemption lord we give you praise for that lord thank you jesus and all that you do [Music] [Music] this is a part of the service where we all get to be cheerful and smile and be full of joy because everything that we have is because of his grace and his mercy if you can hug someone that you love you thank god he put them in your life if you're able to have a warm meal or remember the people who just went through the hurricane we we alone have enough to supply a lot of those people because of the abundance that god has given us as pastor amen okay our tithing pledge goes as follows it's also on the monitors let's say it together i am a tither and i support the kingdom of god on this earth i believe that the parkview christian life center is doing kingdom business and therefore i plant my seed into great ground that it will bring forth prosperity in every area of my life i have no time for doubt or doubters i am taught to obey the word of god so that the blessings of christ shall overtake me and the favor of god shall find me and my cup shall run over hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah it's sea time we also want to remember best you get the best you get the best the best of everything i always think about when we thought i was thinking about giving god the best and i think about the first fruit of the morning that's when you wake up when god has woke you up you're dealing with the first fruit of the day now what do you do with it do you waste it or you get up in the morning and give him the praise that he deserved you all uh on september 10th parkview will host a community food drive from five to seven pm we are asking for volunteers anyone who wants to volunteer please stop by at three pm we're going to have the truck and we're going to be unloading the food we're going gonna set up tables and do a full distribution we have flyers at the welcoming table the welcome be table we have flyers and what i ask of all of you here is to be an extension of the church you're more than welcome to grab a flyer bless someone's life in your neighborhood in your job in your schools wherever you may feel led by the spirit to touch someone so that they could come and receive a free meal because for us it's not just about food for us it's about building the kingdom and establishing a relationship within the community and the body of christ where they could come and get fed just as we are receiving the word of god every week to god be the glory and the honor and so just want to make sure i run through everything uh we have the welcoming sent uh desks the flyers if everyone wants to be involved uh also we would like to see if uh if you don't need food per se if you're someone who has been so blessed that you don't need food at this moment i would like for you to be extension of the ministry of help be an extension of the ministry of help receive a bad come receive a bag or two and give it out to this month it's that's a wednesday it's going to be from 6 15 to 7 15. those of you who come into bible study or you want to come to both or one or the other if you come into the marriage class in relationship class it's going to be from 6 15 to 7 15. if you come into the bible study you're going to be a regular time 7 30. you want to go to both come to both you're more than welcome but that's what the lord lay upon my heart it doesn't uh have me come out another day we're already getting ready for bible study i pray that if you come just come come with by yourself come with whoever you're in relationship with now let me straighten that out you know we're christian based we believe in man and woman so let's not get mistaken so amen i don't say that to i just say it because that's what we are we believe what the word says now 6 15 to 7 15. i know they're going to be pressing for some of you who are getting off work but that's the time no matter when i sit it's going to be set the time it's going to be inconvenient for somebody so that's the time now i'm going to announce it again next week and we're going to cover four topics before wednesdays we're going to cover four topics and then we're going to start over i'm asking certainly some of our ministers that are able to come early come to both because today every time i need you to step in you're already there and you're learning i'm gonna certainly try to do the first four if you're someone i've picked up i will let them share some and i'll share some we'll see how it goes but um we're going to do four topic communication and that's a deep one it covers so many areas getting on the same page touching and agreeing going to cover um well let me just stop right there i'll give you all up next week you got enough information to download right now uh that one there is enough for now and we we're going to cover uh well i'll give you two i'll give you two more we're gonna cover uh the blended family that's always a tough one we're gonna cover lord either this is gonna make you or break you we're gonna cover the finance that's the number one cause of separation and divorce when it comes down to that all four and you say i'm good you're good if you're not not you can go through them again or you can pick the one you want to come back to again whatever you want to do every wednesday night from 6 15 to 7 15. amen well let's get god our praise often for what he's going to say uh what he's going to do looking forward to it i'm excited about it every time we get together for marriage and relationship it is amazing what god says and do i remember the first time we ever did had the classes we was in the former sanctuary and we was having it in the choir stand i was standing you know at the in the pulpit and we had the participant those who were participating in the choir stand within about what about a month we had to get out the choir stand and get in the um pews and then i looked up people was coming not just from haines city in our church they were coming from lakeland winterhaven and probably other places temple too well it was a blessing and i look for the same thing again so you make the sacrifice uh if you're working uh you don't have to go home uh come on with what you have on amen and we will have the social distance now we're going to try to start in the back here we have tables i think we can get we'll see if it's get too crowded back there we'll move in here but we're going to start back there where we can get at least 40 or 50 people in there so that's where we're starting so you come here on the 15th go right in the back and uh again uh we're gonna do our very best to have bring your mass we have sanitizer we have all the things we need to keep you as safe as possible and uh we will separate the tables that there's much distant as possible and again if we get too crowded back there we'll move in the main sanctuary all right to god be all the praise cares of the world before we know it we haven't talked to god at all amen so it's so important god we ask you that you give us give us that peace that passes all understanding god recognizing that you are the one that keeps us in perfect peace the old people used to say he'll keep you if you want to be kept amen so god we just want to thank you right now for keeping us helping us to remember that you are the holy one the holy one of israel nobody like you god there's nobody like you god the word says let every man be alive god is the true one if his word makes everybody else alive well then acknowledge you in this moment god that it's you god that we worship god it's not something we do on sunday it's the way we live monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday hallelujah is you it's you to you god we are your temple also [Music] for the holy spirit dwells and so god we present ourselves by way of the holy spirit to you today for spirit agrees with spirit the spirit of the whole the holy spirit brings the revelation of what you're trying to reveal unto us hallelujah god we are the redeemed of the lord [Music] hallelujah lord and god we thank you now in jesus name amen hallelujah glory be the god all right let's go to the word of god let's turn to philippians chapter 2 and beginning at verse 14 and verse 15 philippians 2 14 and 15. you know i wanted to say so much more but i'll talk more about our classes that we're going to start do want to say that you don't have to have relationship problems to come to the class matter of fact the best way not to have problems is to come to the class amen and to make what you have better if it's already good all right now look at uh philippians chapter 2 verse 14 and 15. y'all got it the word of god says this do all things without my marines and disputing that you may be blameless and harmless the sons of god without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and god knows it's true in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation among whom you shine as lights in this world in the world you may be seated in the present our lord and savior jesus christ now the bible says plainly that uh we are that we ought to do all things without what murmuring disputing arguing you know complaining yeah mummering disputing and uh whining some of us don't murmur but we do wine disputing meaning you're into a argument confrontation and the bible use the word all things do what all things without murmuring complaining disputing simply mean that we have to get close to god i the only way a person is not going to murmur about something and complain about something is they have to see god working it out and then they have to see that mummering complaining never helps now if mummering and complaining is solving your problem i'll say my mom if it working for you then do it but i know the bible is clear that murmuring complaining disputing it doesn't help it never solves problems emotionally in our spirit and psychic of the mind it always make things worse it's like gasoline on the fire you already got the fire the fire's already burning you throw gas on the fire it's just gonna flame up worse that's what murmuring complaining does it never helps the person mentally emotionally whatever you're doing in all things whatever it is god said that murdering and complaining number one is not of the kingdom of god jesus never murmured he never disputed if you were to enter into the kingdom of god you won't hear that in heaven in god's kingdom so it does not come from god it's not of god god does not give it to us but yet as human beings one of the main things we do is complain about everything and not just the world but the christians now we find a reason to go on and on and on it's different between making a comment or giving constructive criticism or constructed instruction than just finding something to complain about number one it never pleases god now praise pleases god exhortation of god pleases him but mummy and complaining god has never looked from down from heaven to say boy i'm so happy with you today boy you've been complaining all day i am pleased with you he says we already live in a corrupt uh world this world is very corrupt the word he used here he says in verse 15 in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation what god is saying that he needs somebody that's so filled of wisdom knowledge and holy spirit that the same thing the world is complaining about you shine light on it i imagine if you work on a job a lot of your co-workers complain all the time god said you are not to join them or you're not initiated we say we live in a perverse and crooked generation he said what we are to do is to shine light by looking at a situation and seeing the good in it now the bible say all things do work together for good for those who call a call of god and to his will you know sometimes things look like a working uh against us but god said if you were to understand that i'll take something that looks bad and if i can get you to put some praise on it come on now church what god says it looks bad but god said our all things are working together for you good but don't go by what it looked like know that god is on your side [Music] and he'll take a pit remember joseph was in the pit he'll take up a pit that you're in and he you know god expected to do he expected us to praise our way out [Applause] god expected to do what come on church praise our way out of the pit how do we stop mummering about everything how do we stop arguing and and in confrontation and dealing with all this animosity and anxiety that builds up in our minds and our soul and robs us of the joy of the lord again let's start with knowing that god is in the midst of everything you're doing and knowing that if you complain god is not working on your behalf i want him on my side amen and so i love the word he says all things doesn't mean on the job if you're going after your career and you're in school that's in your relationship that's in some of the trials and tribulation that we face unexpectedly out of nowhere we're living dealing with a lot of tragedy and unexpected homegoings of loved ones there's a lot of things going on god says all things whatever it is he said victory never comes when we complain now some people some people love good god almighty some people can find anything to complain about don't even like today today you say to them good morning and they'll say well what good about it first of all you're in the morning you're alive god woke you up and this is the day he has made and put you in it amen complaining doesn't help relationship it never saw a problem it never gives promotion in the kingdom of god it never bring revelation of the next thing god wants you to do so paul says now all things now he used the word a crooked and perverse nation what he was saying paul was saying i know that this world is crooked deceiving and as a perverse nation this is our nation this is though every nation there is the world is not um a friend of the kingdom so god says now need ambassadors to represent the kingdom hallelujah of god ambassador an ambassador is someone that's in another country representing the country which they are from why do god call us ambassadors because we are not of this world we are in the world but we've been sent on an assignment by god and so we have to learn about attitudes having the right attitude amen somebody and not allowing the devil to rob us of that type of i mean attitude is everything when you have the right altitude you'll reach the right longitude i think i said that right altitude london to altitude y'all know what i'm talking about uh yeah altitude you'll reap the right altitude with the right attitude i want you to look at something with me in first samuel and put it on the screen first samuel chapter 20 chapter 17. let's read verse 24 and verse 25. first samuel chapter 17 verse 24 and 25 everyone heard me samuel chapter 17. it's on the screen amen the bible says and all the men of israel when they saw the saw the man fled from him and was so afraid and the men of israel said they said here come the complaint in memory i'm getting a lot of feedback if you just can knock that out and and the men of israel said here we go have you seen this man that has come up surely to defy israel is he come up and it shall be that the man who killeth him the king will enrich him with great riches and will give him his daughter and make his father house free from israel y'all know the story right oh david and goliath oh my god david was a little short the bible called a rudded fellow fair continents goliath was about eight feet over eight feet tall a giant he was trained to be a warrior from his youth in chapter 16 and uh david is uh uh anointed he is anointed in chapter 17 he's anointed king come on everyone say he's anointed king y'all know the story how he was out keeping the sheep and samuel came to anoint one of jesse's sons to be king of israel and jesse david's father told him you're just going to keep the sheep the prophet coming to one of my sons to be king of israel but you don't have to come just keep the sheep in other words his daddy didn't think that he was worthy to be king you keep the sheep i know they're going to not one of my son today but you don't have to come because certainly the lord hadn't chosen you watch this now still don't remember when people are close to you discount you call what god has for you can't nobody stop it don't don't don't don't murmur my daddy my daddy didn't do this my my my mom didn't do this quit the mummy about what wasn't done because if god got a plan for you if god has a plan for you he'll override what mother and father didn't do if you quit blaming them you grown now come on now you're an adult now it's time to seek god and what god has for you so his father didn't even recognize him as worthy to be in the lineup to be king of israel dave out there keeping the sheep and and and when samuel come he he he get ready to try to anoint his first elder and he was such a strong or tall handsome looking man that samuel says surely surely the lord anointed is upon you you look like a king you tall with a long curly hair broad shoulders you look like a king and the lord spoke and said to samuel i have not chosen this for god don't look on the outside of a man god looks at the heart of the person see quit comparing yourself physically to people that you think look like you want to look know who you are know whose you are you'll spend your whole life trying to look like somebody else and once you and never be satisfied because you're only going to be satisfied when you discover who you are glory be the god god said i have not chosen this so he went on down the line up all his son came in all of a sudden lined up one after another samuel has the ram horn full of the anointed oil he got to pour it all on the head of one of jesse's son and he go through the whole lineup and he can't pull the horn on none of them because god didn't give him permission and then samuel said wait a minute i know i heard from god glory be to god he said i know he told me your house and one of your son so he asked jesse a question he said now do you have another child somewhere you gotta have you got to have another son somewhere and jesus said yes i do but he out keeping the sheep i don't have one left and he with the sheep and the prophet of god said unto uh jess and the father he said well you go and get him send somebody to go get him use the word fetch him go get him and i want everybody in here to be standing up and you cannot the prophet told you y'all can't sit down until david come in the house can you imagine he wasn't even invited to the lineup but they can't sit down until he shows up so can you imagine them standing saying i know god had looked over us and chosen him he comes in and the prophet now anoints him with the or pulled the whole ram horn of oil on david head all of every drop right before his father right before his brethren he is anointed king of israel he is anointed but yet god has not appointed him to be kings saul king saul is still king the anointing is on david the appointment is saul sometimes although you are anointed you got to still wait on your appointment and while you wait on your appointment you got to know how to behave and carry yourself now now listen just because god have anointed you he may not be ready to position you and some of us don't know how to behave and carry ourselves while we wait on promotion we're too busy complaining about who's there now and how much better you are and they need to sit down so you can go and do your thing instead of carrying yourself humbly before god knowing that one day god gonna lift you up hallelujah matter of fact you want to hear what after david was anointed you won't know you know what he was sent back to keeping sheep wait a minute didn't you just get anointed king and you got to go back keeping sheep and david didn't complain he kept them sheep well he did his assignment of that moment well you may be supervisor material but can you do the work of a servant oh lord jesus lord jesus lord jesus oh lord jesus lord jesus help help us in here can you do the job they gave you on your job now you hear some people i'm overqualified well you ain't promoted yet sometimes god is testing us and our character in our integrity god is testing us with little things he's going to make us rule over a big thing after a while but what god would do he'll test us with the things that displeases us and see how we handle it what you know sometime and i'm talking about we're going to start a beautiful relationship marriage class sometimes one person in the relationship is not doing what they should and it requires that the other person stay humble good preaching there pastor and don't complain can you show light oh i feel your spirit in here now like pastor you just don't know oh yes i do god knows how to test us before he promotes us david kept the sheep to a point where david says he was learning about leadership with sheep he had to be a provider protector a leader he had to be out there to make sure this see the sheep have all their needs met he was learning about leading people y'all they hear me by leading sheep that's why david when he got ready to write he wrote the 23rd song by saying the lord is my shepherd how you think he wrote that 23rd song because he was a shepherd he understood how he must keep the sheep and then he turned around and said just like i keep the sheep if the wolf come i protect the sheep then he turned and say and the lord is mine shepherd and just like my sheep shall not walk i shall not want he make me lie down in green pasture he leads me beside the still water and although and although i may walk through the valley of the shadow of death i won't fear no evil because my shepherd he is with me [Applause] come on church give god a prayer listen david said i learned they were saying i learned so much about god with the sheep although he is anointed king god said i want you to do this and one day so i don't hold you all day one day the philistine in israel is in a battle goliath is the champion they call him the champion or the philistine he is the warrior and he put the battle in a ray for 40 days 40 days 40 days you know what goliath did for 40 days he would come up on the hilltop and shout across the valley and this is what he said 40 days before david showed up meaning everybody had an opportunity to fight goliath because he'd done this for 40 days and david shows up and for far today goliath was coming out and he was saying say this send me a man send me a man that will fight me and if you win we serve you if i win y'all serve 40 days he did that israel was like a lot of church folks the army of israel it was like a lot of church folks i didn't say warriors people churchill they they got dressed for battle every morning they were dressed up for battle they looked like they wanted to get in spiritual warfare they looked like they wanted to uh get into promotion they looked the part but they when it came down to doing the part they didn't do it a lot of times people come to church they look like they're ready to solve some problems but we're only dressed up sometime you dressed up and you're smiling and you got all that cheerfulness and you take your dress-up self back home and fuss with each other you ain't ready for battle you just look like you're getting along you're ready to talk you ain't ready to deal with things of life god said quit dressing the part come on church 40 days and one day one day one day jesse called david from keeping his sheep and he says this to him he says i got i have some posh bread i have some cheese and i want you to take this lunch now he don't turn david the anointed king of israel into a lunch boy can y'all hear the pride of a lot of folks do you know saying do you know who i am jesse his father says come from keeping the sheep today and he left his sheep with some people that will protect them he says tomorrow i want you to take this lunch to your brothers and to the captains of the army and see how they fare if your brother needs something have a request bring it back to me the bible says that david will call to carry a launch you know what he could have done he could have started murmuring complaining disputing i am not a lunch boy he could have told her daddy don't you d when you there when they anointed me but even in what we call a meaningless task he had the right attitude and he didn't remember the matter of fact he said the next morning he got up early in other words he could he had anticipation that night that he at least could get to the battle it was the lunch carrying of the lunch was his step to promotion of being king of israel he get up early in the morning he get up early in the morning watch this and i i want you to read something you get a birthday in the morning he get his carrot ready he get the lunch and he he he he he gets any rush and then when you get to where they are fighting he leaves his carrot in the hands of the carrot keeper and he jumps out the carrier and he runs toward the battle he watches he's he's not murmuring he's not complaining he come on church what do we do he runs he don't drag his feet like man who they think i am man look he runs and because of the anticipation and running when he got there he was there in time that goliath came forth if he had dragged his feet murmuring complaining he would have missed the perfect timing of what god had for him so he runs with great anticipation and excitement he gets to the front of the battle and they said also the johnny of goth goliath's come forth at that particular time right on time he stepped forward and for say the same thing that he'd been saying for 40 days the bible say but the only difference this day david heard it he said david heard it and he said when he came forth david saw something he never saw in his life now listen church i want you to hear why god say don't you mama complain he never murmured about being a lunch boy he never mama about keeping sheep and when the goliath came forth the man of israel fled the warriors the battles the men who fight on the front they ran and they looked around and said what and then they began to re say this to david and everyone have you seen this man have you seen how big he is who can go up against him he came to the father um of the living god they ran and then they went to complaining about how big the man is david didn't run david didn't look at the size of goliath here's a problem it's a problem today watch this here's a problem today here's a problem that is facing israel just like you and i have a problem here's a problem and the problem need a problem solver god called you to quit all all your memory complaining and become problem solvers here's a problem god needed problem solving he called you to be the prophet solomon he is a giant of a problem but yet david looks at it and say well why are y'all running and then he asks a question who is watch this who is is uncircumcised philistine that think he can defy the army of the living god you know what david you know what david was already adding god why are y'all running do you know who's on your side matter of fact later on david said that right before he got ready to fight goliath he said you come to me with a shield and spears i want you to know the battle is not even mine the battle is the lord how many of you know that the things you fighting today it belongs to god david david said who is this uncircumcised philistine that think you can defile the armor of the living god then david said to king saul i'll go and fight him by the fact he asked he asked he asked he asked he said rehearse that again to me what you gonna get if you take him out he said they said uh you're gonna get the first of all you're gonna marry the king daughter that's going to put you in a different set of company [Music] oh lord jesus he's going to lift you up to another level then he's going to bring great riches then he gonna set all your family free david said really i was just gonna do it for nothing just because he defied the army of the living god how do y'all know who we're serving today all of this is once you know watch it you quit complaining once you know who you're serving and you can look beyond the problem in the moment more people complain because all they can see is right then right then right then god said i got something bigger and you ought to praise me for it and so king saul he even said to dave he said david david david he said you can't fight you can't fight him you ain't you you you're just a youth you this man been warned all his life your youth how are you going to fight him they said let me tell you something that you don't know about me while we're keeping the sheep god anointing came on me i wish i had a church now he said i was keeping the sheep and one day i experienced the anointing of god like never before he said a bear and a lion came into my sheep and they took one of the lamb and he said all of a sudden something inside of me rose up there with the holy spirit and he said i went without even thinking i went after the lion i went after the bear he said i didn't complain that the lion in the bear had it now let me stop you got to be ready for spiritual warfare you know lions and bears don't work together they they don't even like each other but that day delany and the bear teamed up to take what david had y'all better get what i'm saying sometimes the enemy who don't even like each other y'all hear me they will come together y'all better hear me just to knock you out that's why you got to be able to be steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the lord hallelujah somebody and david said let me tell you something because i got to go and find a place to close david said let me tell you something king saul goliath is going to fall he said you know you're gonna fall he said because i have past experience of how god gives victory when you quit mummy and complaining you start remembering when the lord brought you out can anybody look back over your life and remember a time when only god brought you out come on now y'all come on now can you remember time when it was god and only god that stepped in your situation and brought you out and david said what i remember this is how i know king saw or or um goliath is going to fall he said that lion and bear took the sheep holy spirit rose up at me i went after the lion and the bear i took the sheep out of their mouth put it on my shoulders i was coming back home the lion in the bed decided to team up and come after me i saw the lion i slew the bear i slew both of them he says the same anointing that brought me through yesterday [Applause] come on church that same anointing that i had when i had a problem yesterday is the same anointing that can bring me through right now listen listen never go around your home or in your mind and spirit giving like lack giving like too much praise too much credit some people walk around talking about what they don't have you're murmuring too much i don't have enough money i don't have enough this if you're mummering too much you're giving like too much credit quit giving lack all that credit if you don't have enough don't mummer you turn around and say the god i serve he's able to do it seemingly y'all hear me abundantly turn that thing around say god is able to do it seemingly abundantly above all i can ask or think i doubt i dare somebody look let's just start right now give god praise let's give god some praise right now come on let's really magnify he shall supply all your needs [Applause] you'll be surprised if you quit complaining about what you don't have give god pray for what you do have how god will add to what you need he is a healer he is a deliverer he is a provider he is a protector he needs somebody to know it and act like it is anybody here know god will step in [Applause] right on time look you are children of the living god he said my eyes on the sparrow you much more than a sparrow god said all i need you to do is give me some praise but have some trust and faith in me and god said i'll bring you through how many y'all hear me preaching today [Applause] hallelujah sometimes sometimes because of our human nature things come in our mouth before we can uh even understand it before we even notice it we don't said the wrong thing that's why i call it the pull down effect whatever you don't send up you can reach up and pull that thing back down and say lord i didn't really mean to say that i cancelled that now send up what i need to send up anybody say something this week you need to somebody said i am the head and not the tail i am a lender and not a borrower i am more than a conqueror now you're sending up some timber now [Applause] then and then lastly king saul gonna tell david he said david huh take my since you're going into battle take my shield take my armor and david told king saul i don't want that stuff you want me to take your armor that you won't use [Applause] he said i got all i need i got the lord on my side i don't need what you have for victory in my life i will use what god has given me and to get me what god want me to have i hope y'all hear me preach again that's why i said quit murmuring because one of the things that caused us the murmur we look over and see what somebody else have and you really do think that if you had what they had you will be better off you already know the price they paid to get what they got and don't be fooled don't be fooled by all this social media stuff but folks having a great life on facebook preach fast amen everything you see in social media ain't like it really is behind closed doors [Applause] everybody have this great life they can post it but they can't live it amen somebody matter of fact if you were living it you wouldn't post it so much yes because if you had such a great man you ain't gonna advertise that no lord jesus when you and your great man out you're gonna keep that to yourself you're gonna let all the women know how great he is that's your greatness hallelujah somebody sometimes that posting is because of lord jesus sometimes it's low self-esteem and they need to be built up and one more thing only social media because some people get upset about which i really don't care but i wanted to let you know everybody make a positive comment don't mean it everybody hit like don't like you you need to know who you are know whose you are and know where your help come from know how to look to the heels quick come as your help and declaring all of our help [Applause] man come from the lord we got to get back to god so david said i don't want that stuff you keep that for yourself god will give me victory no mummy complaining and and now watch this goliath say it to david you little ruddy fella you come to me with that little slingshot david said no this is not listen i'm not coming to you with a slingshot you can say anything you want you don't get me complain i'm not worried about how big you are see it's not the man in the fight it's the fight in the man hallelujah it's not the woman in the fight it's the fight in the woman if you got some fight in you and the holy ghost anointing on you you're gonna get through anything and you're gonna quit complaining about it [Applause] hallelujah jesus whoa lord jesus hot god is good all the time jesus beaten thorns a crown of throwing on the head on the cross father forgiven they know not what they do ain't got no time for complaining god's too good let me close uh in the bible paul and silas is sent on an assignment and they do the assignment so well they are beaten and thrown into in a prison from preaching and teaching the gospel they're told in a prison after they have been striped and beaten stripped and beaten they are thrown in a prison at midnight hallelujah somebody the midnight came soars on their bike from the whipping in a dark morse drizzly jail the prison is full with inmates and god puts them in the midst of the people who have no hope who don't know god who's confused and depressed and at midnight paul and silas had every reason to complain and mumble but they thought about how good god is and at midnight they reflect on the reason they were put in prison and they counted themselves worthy to be beaten in the name of jesus they basically said if you whooped us and beat us in the name of jesus we must did a good job today that y'all were so upset to beat us and put us in prison and at midnight they reflect on god must were pleased today and they began to do something at midnight that most christians might have missed he said at midnight they began to sing and give god pray and sing and give god praise and singing and praying singing and singing and praying at midnight it wasn't so much about the singing and praying although that came from the inside they were singing and praying and not complaining because god was good but the reason the the the uh effect of that was because what happened was that prisoners was in the prison and the bible said all of a sudden at midnight there was a sound went through the prison and the sound of praying that they hadn't heard before and the sound of praising god that they hadn't heard before and they're singing and praising coming from one of the cells and all of a sudden god heard the singing and god heard the praying and god didn't hear murmuring complaining and god act at midnight god sent down a holy ghost earthquake and shook the place that the shackle fell off their hands and feet all because they began to give god praise the devil think he got you shackled down but if you were to open up your mouth and give god some praise the shackle will begin to fall somebody that know god let the redeemed of the lord open their mouth and say god i praise you hallelujah the devil think he got you bound but what he don't know that you know how to give god praise hallelujah even if you down to peanut butter without the jelly slap it on two slices of bread give god praise for the bread and the peanuts peanut butter amen and eat it and give god praise in the midst of eating something else began to happen god opened up new doors god opened up new ways hallelujah god will drop shackles off your feet hallelujah somebody the prisoners watches the prisoners said what is that who can give god praise in a jail who can give god praise after being beaten and they was inspired and all the shackles fell off their feet somebody waiting on you to give god some praise so they can be set free hallelujah somebody don't let the devil shackle down your home don't let the devil shack down your relationship don't let it shackle down your money and your prosperity open up your mouth right where you are oh listen i don't know how my uh uh you know summertime we used to go spend time with our grandmother up in alabama union spring and grandma had us i guess i don't know what happened i don't know what happened i don't know how it happened but my grandmother did what she would do she would cook breakfast it was she kept three of us and herself she would get a teaspoon dip it in the grits four people and she was she said these grits got the last so she say one for you two two three four and i said myself ain't no way in the world no grandma ain't no way in the world number four teaspoon of grits they're gonna feed four of us i was trying to figure out how it gonna happen but my grandmother my grandmother prayed gay god praise over the grinch and while she were praising the grips it began to swell [Music] come on somebody and the more she praised god the more the grit swole and when the water was done with the grits we all had more than enough i'm telling you god want to swell something up in your life that don't look like it's enough but he needs you to open up your mouth with the little you have and say god i give you praise and god will take the little and give you much where are the praises in part of you today that will give god praise right now for what he's doing in your life right now give god a shout pray [Applause] he will swell you overflow you with the abundance not only did the grit swell i will stomach swell god god is good church i need the redeemer the lord to give him a shout praise up in here hallelujah he know how to increase the praiser hallelujah hallelujah god i thank you hallelujah i learned the praising i learned to say thank you even when there is a reason to complain don't you do it don't you do it because god deserve praise hallelujah praise him for the blood running warm in your vein praising that your heart being right on time praising that you got eyes to see praising that you got a mouth to talk praising that you got ears to hear praising that you got legs to walk let everything that has breath give god a praise today praise it for your house praise it for your car praise it for your family praise it for your job praising for what you have quit looking over the fence the grass is not always greener give god pray for what you have glory be the god god i thank you for all your goodness and all your mercy you give god praise for what you have he'll give you more don't pray for a job then get the job and you're on the job that you pray for thought about this that sometime in the body of christ we got too many bells and whistles that's aiding us and sometimes when you take away the bells and whistles we'll find out what you're about amen now we had to run that same race everybody met again the next week the guy lined up one called his name the guy lined up and it was so hot that you could see the rays steaming off the asphalt on the track no wind and they shot the gun and he ran faster you already hear what i'm saying he ran faster that week than he did the last week with the wind so coach our coach walked over to other coaches and he says to them that when you got it when you got it you got it when or no win when you have it you have it amen somebody and you and i we have the lord on our side whether we have trouble or no trouble we're gonna still give him praise amen amen we find out what you are when you have no wind to eat you but you always have god on your side most important part of the service to me is when we take time to give an invitation to people to come to jesus no decision you're gonna make in your life gonna come close close to the decision that you say lord i need you in my life you are my savior i want you to be my lord and savior the bible said if we confess our sins before him he's just to forgive us of our sins so we're going to stand if there are anyone here today that [Music] have not received jesus christ as their lord and savior in a minute i'm going to tell you come and then if there's those of you here and you say well you know pastor i've already received jesus i'm just looking for covering i'm looking for a church home i need that covering and some people understand spiritual covering how important it is even though they are saved they know they need to connect to a local ministry so whether you are coming to receive christ or coming now to become part of this local church so god can use you where he has put you and you can grow where he planted you when i should to know us and give spiritual direction so i'm going to also announce that that we will be doing that there will probably be at least one once a month where we will meet right back here early maybe from 9 to about 9 45 and that way new members can talk with us also so i'll announce that next week we only do that once a month and that will give new members an opportunity to feel a little closer amen and uh because like i said we don't have 30 or 30 some people to join in the last four or five weeks and uh we definitely don't want them feeling nobody noticed me we love you and we thank god communion every first sunday after service and jesus said that often as you do this you're doing the remembrance as of me and we decided once a month god we will have communion in jesus also mighty you can sit if you desire to sit don't want you to get your grape juice on your clothes but if you do don't worry about it amen take them to the cleaner don't worry about it all right jesus got his disciples around the table and he took bread the significance of taking bread was that this bread was going to be dissolved in the body of his disciples and they will be one with the bread and the bread will be one with them so that's why symbolically he took bread he says put it in you so shall i be one day and he said eat in remembrance of me same thing with the cup the cup would be part of their body and the body would be part of the cup once they drunk it so this cup represent the blood of the new testament which i'm going to share for you often as you drink this cup you're doing the remembrance of me then he said unto them as often as you drink this cup eat this bread you do it unto the lord death until he come back again amen to god be the glory amen now you may be seated or she quick story i know everybody go home but there was a young man that played football and he never took the game serious every day he goofed off just never played never practiced never never took it to heart so one day his team made it to the state championship and the starter running back got hurt so the coach said i needed the running back he got another running back and he got hurt but another one he got hurt so finally he said well i have no choice i got to put you in he put the young man in and he scored six touchdowns six touchdowns so the team had him on the shoulders running around with him and the coach said put him down put him down i'm gonna he said yo man what guy didn't you never practice hard you never would took anything serious what happened why did you perform like you
