hey you all carpetbagger here coming to you live from the southern region of California more specifically Anaheim California and even more facility that I am at Disney Land I'm a huge fan of roadside attractions amusement parks and museums and whatnot but I also huge fan of the Disney parks and they're not filmed a lot of Disney parks on this channel I have not had a chance to visit them as much as I'd like there was a time when me and my family would travel almost once a year and visit Walt Disney World in Florida but my wife had been staying home with with her grandfather we're not as much fun to travel as a family I didn't like going as much without the family we've got a plan to go to the Walt Disney World in Florida later this year but I figured since those in California we'd stop and check out the original recipe Disney Land if you will follow me [Music] [Music] check it out many miles dressed in there which is casting spells presumably not evil spells nice spells I would imagine here's Main Street USA now in that Florida there be a very large castle right there but here there is a tiny castle that has those charms of its own it's very evil shop to see on the streets of Disneyland to see the book of shadows over there with a poison apple and um that looks like it might be a version of the Necronomicon you can see the statue of Walton Mickey right there the partner statue of your Sleeping Beauty's castle then looming over the park is the massive Matterhorn you have some clown powered popcorn from now on I'm only gonna eat popcorn that was made by mechanical clowns alright start the day out a little bit of roller coaster action going on the Big Thunder Mountain every fun little coaster here here comes our train it is called IM loco we are off hey how's it going Oh No Barty take a little possum here but if I should have three possums hanging from that branch back there I missed them busy screaming and yelling like a banshee a banshee oh this popcorn here looks like it's being turned by an old prospector one of my favorite ice Pirates of the Caribbean this versions are a lot more expensive than the Florida version they have whole massive scenes cut out so while I love the Florida version the the California version is truly a sight to behold all right happen in the back of the boat here [Music] this is Lafitte's landing actually the beginning here is almost a New Orleans swamp theme see fireflies dancing through the swamp here look at all these treasures to badias to seize they can no longer enjoy them octopus [Music] [Applause] this scene here used to depict human trafficking with them updated it burning down the village here and this one guy looks like he's stealing 800 hats gives your teachers a little busy [Music] there's a little possum right there [Music] getting ready to hop board Splash Mountain this is another one of my favorite attractions as I'm finding myself saying very frequently here this is a a water flume ride themed after Brer Rabbit and those stories from Song of the South very interesting history - Song of the South if you want to look that up and you give you a little souvenir baggie to put your crap in so it doesn't get all wet is that awesome [Music] he's actually our single-seaters right here I'll be sitting in Adams lap for the duration of this video that's it was that the big drop right there oh no that's the big drop right there you see that briar patch oh no keep it dry back there [Music] there's rare bear caught the trap they hold upside down that no good for a fact there is Brer Rabbit talk over the turtle oh there's the possums up there be not the bees Brer Rabbit stocking with money [Music] water we got a little wet oh yeah yeah I got spritz love this alligator pad and there's the two bravest men in Southern California check out this to have a custom penny smasher specifically for Splash Mountain let's actually try it out quarter quarter penny oh there we go check this out the Haunted Mansion one of the the greatest dark rites ever concocted and here in Disneyland during the holiday season they convert it to Nightmare Before Christmas theme and overlay now I have mixed feelings because I'm haunted mansion to me as I'm perfect attraction so why would you mess with it but I want to give it a fair shake I want to I'm gonna want to experience this because I do love Nightmare Before Christmas but I think I love fun imagine more so we'll see see how things how things are on the inside [Music] very spooky music happening out here the teacher was peaceful free sleigh rides this way don't come down it will blow down and be the clothes for all children [Music] Wow terrifying [Music] we'll find the Brazilian booth an addict there's the hatbox ghost oh my god they like our Christmas Sally okey-dokey okay so that was pretty good I really actually loved that that the Noori skinning of haunted mansion you know a la imagen will always be back and always appreciate the Elephant Man but it's interesting to see a little remix here at the South Seas traders there's apparently a something interesting so this is shrunken Ned he is a apparently a colonel that unfortunately had his head shrunken and he is now in this machine where he dispenses advice step forward to put y'all hand in mine Oh put your hand right there oh good heavens I haven't seen a case of this since I was Lord Kitchener's personal physician in the Crimea you've got oh Mogo on the go-go the back there's no cure mostly because the good news is there's no disease ina mad so just follow the instructions and in two weeks you'll be worse than ever and thank you so much for patronizing shrunken med the juggles on their self service witch doctor how to make shrunken nerves jungle juice longevity cocktail it's a recipe the recipe later advanced case stick out your tongue and go ah no this is worse than I ever imagined will we'll have to remove the entire head what me hear this attack the boat they did that to six of our boats yesterday but don't worry only for mine I'm gonna scare these two off with a gun here's Fred Oh Oh prized possession that's Ellie yeah Ellie is a really ugly dog near the wind the cold icy wind blowing off the Matterhorn of course you can't go wrong with this it's a small world some people find the song grating the the figures outdated I think it is pure heaven and charm [Music] writer mighty vessel has set sail check out the Loch Ness monster there is that Pedro I got someone walrus fishing over here into the mountie there got a bird on his head see all the wonderful colors all the swirling children Peter Pan right they're being chased by Tinker Bell some burlesque dancers oh yeah check out that clown in that air balloon right there goats down there the cuckoo clock all these flying carpets hovering over our boat that supposed to be Cleopatra right there you can hear those hyenas they're just chuckling chuckling and madness love the glowing hippo right here the big ole glowing purple hippo we're now entering under the sea it's the Ariel and her mermaid friends enjoying your time here on small world and mountain do you find that's people all right it's very cheerful platypuses very vigorous hula dancing going on I've always wondered if the last scene where all the children are dressed in white if it's supposed to be heaven it's just toontown an area that doesn't exist and Walters your own Florida anymore here's the unique attraction to Disneyland it's the Roger Rabbit toons spin Roger Rabbit was my favorite movie when I was a child oh no it's a bull in a china shop [Music] [Music] wow you're getting married tonight guys well once oh we gonna propose first no no this is done I heard you might be seeing other people I don't know okay well congratulations on your proposal your wedding and this is presumably your honeymoon after that now here's where we really dig in Fantasyland in Disneyland so that really sets it apart these old-school dark rides some of the best attractions here you're snow-white scary adventure this was one of my favorite rides in Florida but they shut it down I decided to see it still here in operation I'm gonna grab the Apple oh jeez jump scared by a freaking Apple oh there's Snow White and their animal friends all those silly dwarves Oh [Music] things just took a bad left turn Evil Queen evil witch there's one they never had in Florida kind of exclusive Darkrai Pinocchio's daring journey all right headed into strombolis puppet theater [Music] [Music] the children donkeys being shipped off to the Salt Mines I'm worried we're about to be swallowed by a whale looks like bells hanging out with Beast Gaston is gonna be so disappointed and this here is one of the all-time classic Disney dark rides mr. Toad's Wild Ride here is mr. toad himself fireplace [Music] putting so much pressure on it Oh [Music] something happened in there [Music] do you know the secret there's a secret to pull the sword out of the stone yeah as far as you know that's the secret now there's no lever you gotta have the right touch you gotta have the right technique don't strain yourself don't pull a muscle no go yeah all right it's stuck can you get it I don't I don't want to give any spoilers all right in line for Alice in Wonderland this is another Disneyland exclusive dark ride you like dark rides Adam me too I like that it's a good one [Music] hey meri Papa's in line for Peter Pan's flight kind of a classic dark ride so a little bit different of a car that hangs from the ceiling right away we know [Music] maleficents signing some autographs usually not so nice to children I guess she's feeling good today there's no entered galaxy's edge which is the newest was elaborate addition to she definitely under that they star wars-themed section a little marketplace yes it's like a little alien pet shop in here the cages hanging in the rafters what is that some sort of alien frog monster you can see I'm breathing a wart what is it here what is what is that thing I think it's the baby from Eraserhead there's a little snail creature right there Adam what are you doing did I rip your eyeballs out oh good that's over space barbecue up here this is actually barbecuing some horrific beasts so here's the pit master right here soaking up some good barbecue it's in here apparently here you actually make your own droids somehow to the droid parts dangling from the ceiling there's some discarded droids guess destroyed parts come out and kids can pick them out to put together a droid you can see all the different abandoned droids up there on top only $25,000 you can buy your own functioning r2d2 so visiting galaxies edge it's customary to get some blue milk blueberry gift is it tastes weird you get to tell me there were spoilers it's different that tastes like nothing else I've ever drank I've had this a few times and I still can't describe it I know it's something almost alien to it it's weird weird but looped ranked it so that makes it good enough for me you doing the whole loop mustache yeah just like chugged it down it'd be hard to shut down very thick now check out this the Millennium Falcon that's pretty pretty cool alright heading in we're gonna ride the Falcon it's like some sort of space garage it's like maybe someone's broken into the extra supply of space popcorn it looks like okay apparently I'm a pilot what are you Adam you're also a pilot where I thought there's only one pilot / no two pilots now to power are you ready Adam powers the gym Oh No but you do a nice light beam Oh Oh every girl likes me hey what's going on here alright we're waiting in line to meet this man right here Darth Vader deceive us we will find the plan we will find the spy hey it might be him I do not know I'm just a play such misguided allegiance No well that looks painful Oh water why that was slightly punishing to my tailbone yeah I might need to see a chiropractor [Music] [Applause] [Music] the world has never had a good definition of the word Liberty oh look at this you can see Goofy's bones thank you for joining us here today at Disney Land here in California I like to see other amusement parks other roadside attractions other haunted attractions other random weird thing please check the interactive map in the description as I help support the channel consider buying a t-shirt consider donating to patreon its get out our more donation will did your postcard once a month all that information is in the description but for now this one's in the bag
