I grew up in Duck Lake it was a huge area during the rebellion. The history of the Metis is strong there. I grew up learning our history in school and got to work at the museum for a year, so as a tour guide had to learn alot about the history. Some of my friends are ancestors of Gabriel Dumont. I hope this sub stays active as I appreciate the culture in which I grew up.
