Diagnosing why Lawnmower dies afters only a few minutes of running.

welcome to inside house garage and today we're working on this Torah lawnmower and diagnosing why it stops running only after a few minutes of use this is only the diagnostic video if you want to watch the repair video click the link in the description basically every time you try to use this mower five minutes after you start it it runs out of gas and if we check the oil there's no indication if there's any internal problems either so let's fill it up with some gas and see the problem for ourselves an immediate restart yields nothing at all however if you wait a few minutes it will start right up again and as you can see for yourselves it didn't even make it a full pass [Music] [Music] if we check the air filter it's an almost perfect condition and if we check for spark using the spark checker we can see we haven't lost that either if we take the gas cap off and try to run the test again it'll make very little difference so the gas cap is venting air like it should be that means it has to be a carburetor problem [Music] now if we take the bowl off the carburetor we can see it the float is not parallel with the carb edge that means that the needle seat has swollen and is restricting the floats motion and therefore restricting the gas flow to the bowl remember this is just the diagnostic video if you want to see the video on replacing the needle seat click the link in the description thanks for watching inside house garage like comment down below and don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already and I will see you guys next time
