[Music] hi everybody everybody i'm back everybody genie young is back and i'm back with yet another amazing recipe i am so excited today because today at the young's house gina young is going to share with you all how easy it is to make birria tacos this recipe right here so easy to make it doesn't require a lot of ingredients and you know making dinner young salads gonna be so tasty you all never had my video tacos before you better make you some here are the lovely ingredients you will need of course you're gonna need a nice beef now the beef that i chose to use is the chip beef roast this is a boneless chuck beef roast and i've washed it off with lime juice salt and water and then i pat it dry with a paper towel you will need some sweet vidalia onions and we have two large garlic cloves you're going to need some lime and also right here we have some yellow corn tortillas make sure you use corn tortillas and not flour tortillas right here we have some beautiful dry chilis i have a hard time pronouncing it but you see how it spell you're also going to need some fresh cilantro and a couple of spices so we can spice everything up here's what you'll need over this way you will need some pepper some allspice right here we have some beef better than bouillon base and we have some chipotle peppers and adobo sauce you're going to either need beef bouillon or chicken bouillon you will need paprika a little bit of accent and cumin you're going to need some salt and back here we have some parsley make sure your hands are impeccably clean let's get started with this really easy recipe to the young style okay everyone we have prince and polo here prince is right there on the right and polo on the left i have a little snack for them i have some little tiny pepperonis we're going to give them before we start the video i couldn't be more excited to do this recipe for you all i've had tons and tons of requests to make these birya tacos and i'm going to show you how to make them gina young style so you can make them for your family and friends and loved ones okay so the first thing that we want to do is season our meat okay i'm just going to season it right now with some salt and pepper and what we're going to do is today we're going to be using the insta pot okay the instant pot will allow this meat to get nice and tender and the nick of time i mean like superman time right okay so we got the salt one we're gonna put some pepper on as well and we're gonna season both sides now we're going to sear the meat in a uh saucepan or a frying pan with a little bit of vegetable oil and what we want to do is we want to get a nice beautiful golden brown color onto the meat and when you sear your meat you're not trying to cook the inside you just want to get it nice and crusty so it locks in that flavor and all of your juices so what i'll do is i'm going to take this over to the larger stove i'm going to put it in my frying pan that has a little tiny bit of oil once both sides are nice and seared i'll be right back to show you what we'll do next okay so while our meat sears up on the stove let me show you how to address these peppers it's really simple so what we're going to do is we are going to take off the stem okay you can use this with your fingers you can use scissors or even you know a butter knife open it up and the purpose for opening the chile is to get the seeds out get as many seeds as you can get out okay if you can't get some of them out don't freak out and then sometimes there is a stem if you can get the stem out take it out so this is what we want what we're going to do is we're going to rehydrate these beautiful peppers and it's going to help to make a beautiful sauce and it's going to give this meat an amazing flavor so i'll show you how to do two of these and i'll do the others off camera so here's the second one and you can really see that vein coming out along with the seeds open it all the way to the top and see you know how many seeds you can get out so i'm happy with that and we'll move on when i come back i'll show you what to do next okay everyone so you can see that our chiles are in some water and they're just steeping it's only going to take about eight minutes to get them nice and limp like that that's what you're looking for okay and it's going to get that you that water in there nice flavor from the chile and also we have our beautiful chuck roast here and you can see that sear that we're looking for i'm gonna turn it on the other side and achieve the same thing okay everyone so while we wait on the meat to get nice and seared and our chilis to continue to steep for a little bit let's get started on these veggies so what i want to do is i want to cut excuse me i want to cut our onion just like so and i'm going to take these garlic cloves and we're going to put them into the insta pot okay so the onion we'll get chopped just like this just gonna sip this right down into flavorland okay so let me peel this i hope you all are having an amazing day today let me know in the comment section below if you've ever tried beeria tacos if you've tasted them if you make them at home and if you do let me know your recipe okay so there we have our onions i'm gonna give that garlic a nice whack just like so we're going to put this garlic whole right into the insta pot with 32 ounces of either broth you could use a beef or a chicken broth or you can use water like i'm going to use today and my purpose for using the water today is because i have this better than boy on beef base that we can mix into our water and voila you have beef raw i need to wipe my eyes because these angry onions are killing my eyes be right back okay everyone time to make this amazing sauce it's so easy don't be intimidated by this sauce so i have a small onion in here with a whole piece of garlic and some of that liquid that we used to steep these peppers and here are our peppers okay so i'm using the magic bullet today the nutribullet that's going to help me to blend these up okay remember after touching these you want to walk wash your hands because you don't want to burn your eyes okay can also burn your skin as well so what we're going to do is we're going to get some seasonings in here when i make berry tacos i always like to use a little bit of allspice it gives an amazing flavor to these tacos trust me but you know when you use allspice don't use too much don't get crazy with it that's enough that's all you're going to need for this whole dish okay so we're gonna go in with some of that chicken powder or if you decide to use beef that's fine as well we're gonna put some paprika in just like so not the smoke kind a little bit of accent i know some of you all are going to have a whole fit when you find out that i'm using accent but if you don't want to use it don't use it okay and it's that simple so we're putting cumin in all right just like so and then we're going to squeeze some lime juice a whole half of a lime let's get all that beautiful juice out of there if you get a little bit of the lime pieces in there guess what it's okay that's all flavor it's going to make it taste delicious okay so what we're going to do is we're going to get this screwed on just like so we're going to blend this until everything in here is well mixed let me make sure there we go okay everyone so we're here at the insta pot and you can see where we have the nice sweet vidalia onion and we have a whole garlic clove how about putting a little bit of that chicken powder in there and then we're also going to put a tablespoon of the beef bouillon paste just like so we're going to put 32 ounces of liquid whether that's your broth or your water but if you're using the bouillons you you know you only need water okay that's around about 32 ounces there and then we're going to take this beautifully seared meat that we have here and it goes right in and you see that i've cut it so we can make it fit okay just like so beautiful and then i want to add one chipotle pepper all right and we're gonna put some parsley flakes just to make everything nice and beautiful we're gonna squeeze a little bit of this lime juice in okay a half of a lime squeeze that in there we're gonna turn this insta pot on meat and stew which normally gives you about 35 minutes of cooking time when i come back i'll show you what to do next okay everyone before we go any further i can't don't jump the gun gina you're just so excited for these tacos we want to put that amazing sauce that we made right on top of the roast you don't even have to mix it in now i'll come back okay so now we need to take this time to chop up our uh cilantro and our onions and your lime the lime is going to be used as a garnish but also you can squeeze that lime onto these tacos and it makes it superb okay so i've washed my cilantro off and i'm just patting it with a paper towel just like so and i already have the onions nice and chopped that way i don't have to go through the anguish of crying again because of the onions so when i have the cilantro for these tacos i really like to go in and chop it up nice and fine okay as much as i can we're going to put this cilantro and the onions inside of the birya taco and you can put some on top as well okay so i'm happy with the way that looks so what you do is you just take your nice bowl and you mix the two together or you put it side by side like i'm going to do and there's one ingredient i do not want to forget but it's never too late let me show you you need that mozzarella so we have some gorgeous mozzarella here this is going to give you that nice cheesy pull that we all love now when i come back we're going to take a look at that gorgeous meat and i'll show you what to do next take a look at this first thing i want you to see is this beautiful sauce before we lift up this gorgeous meat look at that in the meat here it is like butter it's so tender it's so soft beautiful so when we go over to the island you will see that i've taken i've skimmed off some of the oil that naturally forms at the top just by doing it you know like a motion like this because i'm going to show you what we're going to do with that oil when i come back okay so remember i spoke of uh getting some of that oil off the top of the sauce so here's our oil okay you can see how it coats the bowl all right so it's not the sauce it has some sauce in it but it's more of the oil you take your corn tortilla you want to give it a nice dippy dip sauce is hot okay now watch this we have both sides nice and coated put it on your flat top now don't worry if you don't have a flat top i don't want you to freak out you can use a frying pan okay you definitely can use a frying pan in this situation okay beautiful and if you have it on low these corn tortillas will turn into mush so be very careful you want to turn it kind of like on a medium heat all right so what we're looking for is we're looking for a little bit of a crispiness okay and you'll start to see it you're gonna take your fork here in a second and we'll take a little peek underneath and see what what it's looking like but right now it's we're not really able to move it because it will tear on us if you have a situation where it tears on you because it can possibly happen don't worry about it just use another one okay once you start to get golden brown we'll flip them over i'll be right back okay everyone so now look at that beautiful and you'll know when it's time you know when you can turn it like that one i feel like it's still a little sticky so don't bother it so now but what we will do is we'll address these two and start making our tacos we're gonna take some of this gooey mozzarella cheese if you like um whatever kind of cheese you like but if you want that cheesy pull use the mozzarella okay it's great all right just like so we're gonna take some of that lovely beef i'm gonna put that beef on there just like this oh yeah baby see see now we're talking you're talking to my taste buds here all right just like so a little bit of onion just a little bit a little bit of cilantro just a little tiny bit and then we're going to flip it over just like so and we're gonna hold it there for a second all right i'm gonna do the others and i'll be right back okay everyone so you see and you kind of take your spatula and you mush it down a little bit to where your corn tortilla forms a taco shell just like that there's our onions little tiny bit of cilantro if your family members are not fans of cilantro don't don't put it in there okay just like this beauty beauty beauty when i come back i'm going to say an amazing prayer you all are going to get that
