DEADPOOL lives in the SAME UNIVERSE as X-MEN 97! — Cable, Avengers vs X-Men, & Secret Wars Explained

are the Deadpool movies in the same universe as X-Men the Animated Series and did X-Men 97 just give us the origin of Josh Brolin's cable we're going to take a look back at Deadpool 1 2 and three as well as X-Men the Animated Series Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness the Marvels and Avengers endgame connecting in all these dots to prove that these four universes are one and the same and in the air these timelines are so confusing we see the fox era X mansion from the previous movies but then we have a totally different version of Colossus from the one that we saw in those X-Men films a version that is damn near identical to the Colossus that we got in X-Men the Animated Series why do you fight Colossus little one protein bar good for BS there's this running gag that's funny yet simultaneously Eerie where Colossus and negasonic teenage Warhead are the only X-Men in the Mansion the big house it's funny that I only ever see two of you it's almost like the studio couldn't afford another X-Men where the is everyone it's always just you Nega Sonic teenage longest name ever now granted there was that one Cameo appearance from the younger X-Men cast in Deadpool 2 but these films have always taken place in modern day which makes that scene really make no sense but we've always excused it because you know it's Deadpool but I think there may be a Sinister reason behind why the X-Men are missing in the Deadpool movies and characters like Colossus don't realize but a fourth wall like Deadpool does with Deadpool and other Fox era X-Men now officially joining the MCU Multiverse we have to start making sense of this inconsistent and timey wiy Fox X-Men universe and how it fits into the Multiverse Saga and guys I think we may have cracked the code to how every on-screen version of X-Men including the cartoons are connected and Cannon to each other and Deadpool's two movies are a prime example of how messy reality can get when time travel is played with and we think the Deadpool 3 could be the breaking point for the fox universe and reveal the dangers it brings to Loki newly formed multiversal tree yeah I'm going to pee on that tree real good someday what nothing go Rong so at the end of X-Men 97 episode 3 we see the time traveler Bishop take baby Nathan AKA cable with him into the future likely the year 2055 that this version of Bishop came from in the original series and this 2055 future lines up pretty closely with the future that Josh Brolin's cable comes from in Deadpool 2 unlike in the comics where cable was taken to a much more distant future [Music] future in the comics cable had a very similar origin to what we saw in X-Men 97 Mr Sinister orchestrated his birth with the clone of Jee gray meline PRI AKA The Goblin Queen Young Nathan was infected with a techno organic virus in X-Men 97 it was Mr sinister's doing but in the comics it was apocalypse apocalypse the baby apocalypse infected him in hopes of eventually possessing Nathan and taking over his body Palpatine style a character named esani then took Nathan to a distant and Alternate future in the 38th or 39th Century so thousands of years in the future as opposed to a few decades like an X-Men 97 and dead po too now we should also mention that in the original animated series it's established that cable comes from 2,000 years in the future but in this episode Bishop says he knows a guy in the future who might be able to help Nathan that guy being Forge who we met a younger version of at the end of the episode as we'll discuss in a moment time is always changing so this future where cable was from 2,000 years in the future could be a future that no longer exists in fact we see his future being Rewritten in season 2 of the show somehow the past is being changed and the time stream is realigning and now that time has been Rewritten with baby Nathan instead being taken to 2055 in this episode oh sir in Deadpool 2 cable comes from the year 2055 well remember 2055 is is where we're saying that baby cable was taken but cable is at least in his 40s in Deadpool too so let's just say his future is definitely before 2100 now it's never mentioned in Deadpool 2 the exact year cable comes from but we do get a hint here I bet 50 years from now we're best as buddies 50 years from now you're very dead your entire generation is planted into a coma it's unclear why Deadpool specifically said 50 years maybe cable told him off screen maybe he's just spitballing maybe he knows because he can break the fourth wall maybe it's Maybelline nevertheless Deadpool 2 takes place in roughly 2018 so 50 years in the future would be about 2068 and if baby cable was taken to 2055 that means that in 2068 he'd be about 13 so this lines up with cable being a young soldier in an apocalyptic future and that would explain why he would have such disdain for those responsible for the world he grew up in it's also worth mentioning the future cable comes from looks a lot like the apocalyptic future scene in X-Men Days of the Future Past a future where most mutants are dead but that Days of the Future Past movie is different from the one in the Animated Series well remember Doug our theory is that all of these timelines are in the same universe play the clip these timelines are so confusing time travel Works differently in the X-Men Universe than it does in the MCU and that's the key to these many timelines existing in the same universe they're being written over and over again in Avengers endgame the Hulk explains changing the past do change the future and in Loki we saw that altering the predetermined path of a timeline just creates a branched timeline but in the X-Men films changing the past does change the future in Days of the Future Past we saw Wolverine bishop and others travel back in time to change the future in Deadpool 2 we see cable and Deadpool travel back in time to change the future in the Animated Series we see various characters including cable use time travel to change the future and then X-Men 97 we get this crucial line from Bishop time isn't some history book man it's always writing flipping back back a few pages rewriting things skipping forward which is the same thing we heard Kitty Pride say in Days of the Future Past as long as you're back there past and present will continue to coexist but once you wake up whatever you've done will take hold and become history and both of those X-Men lines Echo another line we heard from Hulk and Avengers endgame when he was talking to the ancient one because once we're done with the stones we can return each one to its own timeline at the moment it was taken so in that reality it do now this line contradicts his initial statement of time travel not working that way earlier in the film and in a way it combines the two methods of time travel removing the Infinity Stones created a branch timeline and two Futures existed like Bishop Kitty explained and returning that infinity stone made it as if that timeline never even existed history was Rewritten just like in the X-Men continuity so we think that with time travel being so common in the X-Men Universe the X-Men timeline is being Rewritten again and again and again the timeline is constantly being torn apart and put back together and that is causing this single Universe to become unstable and vulnerable to incursions an incursion occurs when the boundary between two universes erodes and they Collide destroying one or both entirely this would explain in Canon why Deadpool's Universe looks like a shell of several Past X-Men properties it would explain why Deadpool is confused by all the timelines his ability to break the fourth wall makes him aware of the past versions of his Universe the X-Men Universe we see in in the Deadpool films is dark and gritty in appearance and it feels a little empty almost as if the universe is slowly dying after having been Rewritten over and over again and that could explain why in Deadpool 3 we'll likely learn that Deadpool's universe is dying it's reached the end and that is why we're seeing all these Fox era X-Men in the void each time their timeline is Rewritten pieces of the old timeline are discarded and left behind and don't forget we've seen universes end firsthand before in both the show Loki and in the show what if one choice can destroy the entire universe you know Ryan this would also explain why in Deadpool 3 we have Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in the classic yellow costume these two Wolverines are one in the same and they always have been I mean we've already had a ton of reasons to believe that the X-Men animated series Universe was coming to the live action based on what we've seen in previous MCU films Multiverse of Madness gave us Charles Xavier in his signature yellow chair same suit and tie all accompanied by the CL classic animated series theme this universe is called Universe 838 and also has characters like a Fantastic Four that has been around for a while based on the fact that Reed and Sue have children then there's Miss Marvel who was revealed as a mutant accompanied by that same animated series riff and finally there's the Marvel's post credit scene featuring beast but not just any Beast Kelsey grammer's Beast combined with the Beast from the Animated Series it's also worth mentioning that in the X-Men animated series we saw Echoes of Deadpool as well but we never actually saw the true Deadpool what do you mean well we see Deadpool in the original animated series three times once in the memories of saber-tooth alongside Wolverine and then two other times we saw morph transform into Deadpool when fighting Wolverine we think it's possible perhaps even likely that Deadpool resides within the same universe as every Fox X-Men film as well as X-Men 7 and the universe we saw at the end of the Marvels and universe 838 because all of these versions of these characters and these stories unfolded in the same reality a reality that was manipulated by Time Travelers again and again and again this single Universe has been written over many many times like an old VHS tape the strand of tape is the universe but the contents of that strand are the events of the timeline and those events are being written over and over again and Deadpool's time travel banan at the end of Deadpool 2 finally wore down that strand of tape aka the universe and we're going to to see the consequences of that in Deadpool 3 your little Cinematic Universe is about to change forever Kevin feig's on record about his love of X-Men the Animated Series as well as the fox era X-Men movies which he was heavily involved in as a producer in their early days it's clear to me that before fogy reboots the X-Men he wants to pay homage to what came before and give the fox era a proper sendoff and we think he's doing that by combining all the X-Men stories that came before into one single universe and we think that universe is going to go to war with the Avengers of universe 6 616 come the time of Avengers 5 it was already teased in Multiverse of Madness that Universe 838 and 616 are having an incursion Stephen you're rival here confuses and destabilizes reality you caused an incursion and we're going to fix it and then again in the Marvels we saw 616 Maria Rambo enter this X-Men Universe which we think could be Universe 838 aka the fox X-Men Universe aka the Animated Series in 97 Universe aka the Deadpool Universe a universe that's on its final legs because time travel something forbidden with he who remains was in charge has shred this universe thin and this will be the Catalyst for the X-Men and the Avengers going to war in Avengers 5 forly the Kang Dynasty giving us a battle like one we have never seen before between two Juggernaut Marvel franchises of their own right a battle that will feature two groups of well-meaning Heroes facing a moral quandry like no other eliminating an entire universe to save their own and what is an X-Men or Avenger story without a moral quandry you have the power to destroy the storm you must do it on please the Rings are moving too fast just shoot it I'll kill her we think that we'll see a scenario in Avengers versus X-men where neither Universe can bring themselves to destroy the other like Captain Vision said we don't trade lives Vision we don't trade lives Captain this will result in both universes being destroyed and both teams being sent to a place called battle World from The Secret Wars comics and it's there that we think our heroes will band together to restore a new single Universe put together with broken pieces of their old realities semi- rebooting the MCU well guys that's our theory on how every single X-Men Universe could be one and the same and lead into dead pool 3 and Avengers Secret Wars starting back in the 9s with X-Men the Animated Series all the way to present day Deadpool big
