Why did Bill think spade is ugly bec he kept saying “guys like you and me”. I’ve always thought David was handsome and fun ! That’s why us women like him. He must have been like “uh why are you grouping us together. As much as I love Bills mind, he’s no looker
Bill finds a way to talk about trans people in every fucking episode. And Spade was having none of it just answering with “erm”s and “um”s and trailing “yeaaaahhhh”s like “I still have a career I want to keep thanks for dragging me into this though bill 💯 appreciate this.
The best part of this episode was behind the scenes information about something that happened on snl (the woody harelson stuff).
And then I find out that that's precisely what Spade's podcast is about.
Already listened to two episodes. I'm hooked.
So this is at least the second time I’ve heard Bill talk about Woody’s SNL monologue and the “backlash”. Am I nuts? I watched it live and remember noticing how it made zero waves on Twitter and the next few days I don’t think I saw a single mention of it.
My thoughts on it at the time was it was just really passé and he was revisiting something people were exhausted talking about when they were there for a comedy show. Was there outrage somewhere?
I watched last night. I always enjoy Spade’s razor sharp wit.
Isn't this just Bill interviewing himself?
Bill Maher staying hip by bringing young up-and-comer, David Spade, on his basement podcast.
