David Blaine's Two Card Monte (Tutorial)

we had hands on it you ever seen the cartridge mildew in Las Vegas where they have three cards Las Vegas just to hustle people free exactly just like the cards like all right [Music] [Music] sure [Music] I seen that I seen the card on the car but how'd he get the Queen in the same basically Omo I saw your change the card we pulled from the death I know how to get the Queen in his hand man oh the the first one you put in there you showed oh yeah no the first thing one dime aces and hearts for those who don't know to color money this is one of the greatest tricks probably one of the most simple tricks definitely that you can do with the normal pack of cards with where you can ideally set up the deck in front of the spectator so these are the cards you're going to need two red aces two black Queens so the initial setup is you tell a story about or you know three-card Monte about where the peoples are spread through the deck and people know that game or the pea in the shell game where it's just like you scam people out of money and while you're going through all this you want to grab these cards out of the deck and you can do a ton of tricks and then finally oh so you know three-card Monte well I know this way where you want to just take whenever you see your card you want to take it and put it at the top you don't want to like out jog and wait till later because you want to seem like you only have two cards so you can say like you're taking the Joker's out or you're just explaining this whole time about three-card Monte and how you do it better because you only use two cards and this is the setup you want you want ace the two queens and the four their days so you're like all right take your fingers like you'd hold the card like this so they do and while we like you're trying to explain to them you want to push out the four cards and then when you push them back you want to get a break under all four cards so all right take out your hands in the hole like this so I take it and they're holding it like this and you're like alright diamonds right just diamonds don't think don't think ace just the suit it's easy to remember the suit that's how you play three-card Monte is this by remembering suit so what card is this whatever they say you just remind them that it's diamonds so they're holding on to it and you're like all right if that's diamonds triple lift if that's diamonds what do you think this is hearts so what you really did is you have your break under these three cards and you flip them all over as one card you still want to have like a break under all three of them this is just like a really quick show like all right if that's diamonds what's this hearts alright so I'm going to take hearts now you really have a queen so I have this you know alright I'm going to switch it so fast you're not even view I'm here first I'll show you what I'm gonna do I'm gonna go like this and take the card out from underneath see I have diamonds now and when you want them to perform this you really want them to not look at this card because like when you're first drying this I guarantee people are going to flip over there their card you have to work your own style to make them not look at this card so if you hold on to it if they're holding on to and you're like see look I have diamonds now and you make sure like they don't flip this card over right see I've diamonds now now I'm gonna take diamonds here's the real switch right there right there now without looking when you didn't switch them at all they still have Queen you didn't switch them all right there now without looking what card would you say is on top and while you're explaining all this as soon as you make that switch you have to say without looking without looking at the cards because this like this is like a betting game without looking so they're not gonna look at that Queen of Spades you want to take this card while they're holding this and you want to do this quick move where you push off the other Queen push off the other Queen steal it peel this ace onto the top and now you're holding the Queen so the real move go back and watch anyone do to card bonding I guarantee you'll be able to figure out how it works how that when they switch the card how they did it their explanation of how it works so here's yeah so I'll start from scratch really quick again so they have these cards all on top with the pinky break all right this is hearts remember how it's not AIT's just the hearts if that's hearts what's this you just did a triple what diamonds right so I'm gonna take diamonds I'm gonna take diamonds I'm gonna show you what I'm gonna do I'm gonna take it from underneath like this and switch it out see I have hearts now because you really just took that card from them see I parts but here's the real switch right there now without looking without looking what card would you say is on top and you just switch down they have two queens what car would you say is on top I think it's hard I don't think you switched it all right you want bet money on it bla bla bla no I don't have that money on it and then when they finally flip their hand over their impressed and while they're hooting and hollering you can give one hand to cut it and show that the Aces are completely gone this was a rushed tutorial because I don't have someone here to hold the cards with me to help hold the cards so I'm sorry about that and but for real you can this could be easily the first trick you ever learned like easily so master that trick and this is a trick this is another one of those tricks where you can ideally do it to the same person probably like 10 to 15 times like over the course of a month or two month or whatever or have them see you perform that trick to someone else a bunch of times and they will not figure it out they have to really be cracking down on your hands to be figuring out that's why you shouldn't be showing the same tricks or the same people more than once like in the same like two weeks to a month even so this is a great trick easy easy easy easy you can perform this like within ten minutes of learning it so learn this trick and do it to a family member today
