David Blaine Magic Tricks on 'GMA'

I'm gonna get you out of this because I'm gonna bring somebody who's gonna show us all of the illusions you don't wanna bring it to the table the one and only David Blaine [Applause] you got special on ABC tonight tonight all right tell us all about it in I've worked 2 years on it I think it's it's I think it's the most interesting one that I've done because it's not just magic tricks per se it's kind of a documentary that goes into the secrets behind how I actually work on it to actually see it it is the maze I got to say it I think some of the stuff you're doing is just blow your mind because I'm like why would you want to do it you have good reason diving so deep into these tricks but you tricked a lot of stars who was the most surprised and they're so good in so many ways it's hard to isolate one I picked all my favorite people and was lucky to be able to just jazz out with them by the way I brought you these special ABC decks of cards can everybody stand up except for Michael because you'll make us look sure so but Michael I mean my trick but Michael Michael you know how to shuffle correct yes sir can you shuffle the back a couple of times an examiner absolutely can I write on the back of absolutely so I'm gonna write something I'm gonna write some words down Mon Michael shuffles so you see I write e SP what does that mean - es PA yeah psychic whatever right right here and then I'll write V whoops v.i.p what is that and then I'll do now like this and oh stop again now can you hold this for me Shores it now Michael you shuffled the cards can you spread them face up right here so she can see them all right yeah face up face up VfB great good so we can see all of them so yes right go ahead spread them out yeah you could make here's what I want you to do perfect okay put your finger at the top of the deck like this and I want you to slowly move across the cards but you're not thinking about a card specific just slowly move across the back and yes slow down as you go great and keep slowly moving across yeah basically gonna stop anywhere so wherever you want to stop yeah I guess stopping lower your finger where you so you stopped on what card three three diamonds three of diamonds push it forward so you could have stopped anywhere but you chose to stop on the three of diamonds do you know why you stopped on this card I don't know I'll tell you why because because of that subconsciously your brain read that differently can you turn it so we could read it this way if flip it this way yeah yeah what is it say flip it like this what does it say wait like this what does it say read it [Applause] your brain actually processed it but you didn't you weren't working to stop there consciously we're gonna watch your show it is David Blaine beyond magic [Applause]
