Dark Souls 3 But It's Pokemon (Day 3)

yo what's up guys chase the bro here welcome back to another dark souls 3 pokemon mod playthrough run hello everybody hello what is up and how is it going what's up luno uh vail hello uh demystics hello uh sebastian wesley paulo how's it going man calvin ben laddersmith and sir wet biscuit and friggin yeah yeah i actually was debating trying out the 1440p but uh i don't know some people told me that it would make it rough on people that uh can't watch it in 1440 so i don't know much about that i might give it a test one day soon just felt like today wasn't the day for that so we shall see uh what's up guys how's it going oh yeah so we are continuing the pokemon through i don't know if you guys caught the other two but basically what this mod does is allow you to capture monsters that are in the game you know like the silver knight things like that and they become your way of fighting i actually can't do any damage with weapons so i have to rely on the things that i've caught in my party basically so yeah we've done up to lothric castle i believe so we're gonna go there continue er wait wait we killed the dancer yes wait do i have anything that i can do while i'm here let's look at my roster really quick yeah i was gonna look at them right as you guys said that so i have the cathedral knight got the silver knight because he's like the best like i don't know humanoid one i find for damage he's very aggressive cathedral knight has the arrows that's kind of useful for distance battle pontiff knight's super aggressive stray demons like my big heavy tank the jailers op against bosses because it drains their hp and the rig knight's just kind of like my monster that like you know saves me no matter what my save point we'll see though i think it's good jailor is pretty awesome uh sometimes it doesn't work though it worked against yorm and that was really all i wanted it for was yorm so we'll see how it goes give the big i did use the big crab i did i used him quite a lot i might sub out the jailer at least until we get to a boss room because the jailer is pretty useless till then so if you want big crabbo is i forget which ones are tier three there are a couple that are two three that i haven't used um was it the spider that was tier three or was it uh the fire witch no the super centipede the gargoyle blackness the black knight is awesome but sometimes he's like really chill and he doesn't fight so he's not like super aggressive he's strong though so maybe i should just keep another black knight just in case maybe hmm got me thinking actually i don't know what do you guys think hola what's up guys if you want black knight i'm down i have i have a ring night i have a silver night i may as well complete it with black knight if it comes down to that choice also i'm blind where is the black knight up top i remember him being the big crab deep accursed is really good is it the spider okay i mean i haven't really used a spider so let's try it they kept jumping off the map in certain areas but maybe the this area in the archives would be better for it so grey warden is pretty sick too you're right it's aggressive does bleed not very tanky but oh wait wait what am i saying this thing how do i not have the elder grew never mind i take it back elder guru is insane oh thank you we i mean gavin yes hello uh yeah the giant crystal lizard it's pretty good actually you know maybe i'll give that a try too we'll see how this goes for our walk through the lother castle and then we'll we'll take it on from there there we go hello danny how's it going yeah yeah i'm gonna definitely finish at least the playthroughs that i've started before we move on to anything else uh but demon souls is coming because i want to prep myself for the remake i think i'm gonna i think i want to go the route of lother castle before i do osiris i don't know i just that's what i usually do we shall see though okay so oh yeah it's not the mod i've been editing the ascended playthrough so i was expecting like a thousand things here but all i gotta do is basically survive while my my dude my homie does the rest of the work hey you that's right we're teaming apparently they're gonna they're gonna update it someone told me last time too gotta catch a crawling pygmy huh yeah i'm trying to catch everything do these things count those things will count as hollows and these are just gonna count as lothric knights so not too yo cathedral night wanna wanna put in some work here homie there you go oh that was strong no he's no this is this is bad this is very bad um they're gonna keep getting healed i need to get by them for the healer all right and then we gotta pull out something aggressive get it thank god i killed it come back here okay okay let's let's see can the elder grew do some work in here or i guess he's just not gonna come here at all okay that's fair let's get our monster back that's true i could use i could just throw some of the abyssal flasks instead of fighting everything sometimes also true but i like killing things feels like i'm completing the mod that way okay by the way uh i'm testing on my baby how does the stream look by the way i i have it i put it a little higher than i used to because my internet's been amazing so like the past day okay come here let's get a pokemon battle going on here stop chasing me another ability that it has what's he do d protection or something no they die you gotta get a party of six and then once they die you have your defenseless essentially so got to be very careful with what you use cathedral knight come here come here buddy yeah there you go okay now this one wasn't the shields of the problem can i kick no why didn't you do that okay uh oh there's actually enemies down oh [ __ ] there's three ah cathedral night i kind of need you come here come up here there you go up further yeah if they die you don't really get to use them unless you set it upon firing rest yeah i wish my wooden shield did that okay oh wait did i catch a winged night yet i forget because i do have no flasks wow i don't have any flasks i need to buy some flasks come here all right yeah while the pokemon are out they naturally regen themselves so that's kinda good and that was an amazing ability thank you there we go yes okay you're getting kind of weak let's bring out your your silver knight counterpart there we go let me grab this nobody please okay i guess he's a fan of the arrow can you maybe pay attention to the one here you do have a sword you know there you go nice okay yeah we'll see actually i mean we're already like uh almost close to end game since there's no dlc's that we can access yet so got this the archives and the optional bosses that was funny god yeah this one next please hit the snipe go artillery get [ __ ] yo low-key i like the silver knight so much i just like stun them and he like sits there finishing the job for me i love it oh boy okay there we go we reached the next destination i'm doing good i'll show you man getting a little bit further in the pokemon mod today this is pretty solid it is it is good fun like if you're looking like for a way to mix up your playthrough this is fun i'm not gonna lie to you oh yeah they actually have the elite four in this oh frames okay which is pretty cool uh do i have the cat ring i do i already have one of these uh i have most of the things in this castle caught i think i should get the prisoner's chain actually honestly it's it's whatever unless my pokemon die like will they will that boost my pokemon by any means or no like if the p chain doesn't work on the pokemon i don't really care about it because the the lloyd sword and shield rings actually do work so right now that's more my priority i'm fine i don't really like need that many heals this area is always shitty frame rate oh my god what the [ __ ] uh i didn't even hear it what the [ __ ] it's really weird the dragon didn't make any sound hang on feeling like my game's glitched sometimes that'll happen with mods uh siddharth yo no it's random but wanted to ask if i get a ps5 just for demon souls no their games interest me wanted opinions honestly man that's one of the main games that i'm getting the ps5 for so i i wouldn't judge you on that i think a lot of people that play the souls the reason they want it on day one is for demon souls and the community that's going to be their day one so like if you're getting if you plan on getting a ps5 anyway and you have the funding to do so for the ps5 i'd say go for it you know because i don't know souls games are just so like magical day one so fun to be there but even like within the first week you know like i mean the europeans don't even get the ps5 until like a week late so some of the community won't be there but like i'm pretty sure that's the reason lots of people are getting a ps5 because it's not so much of a big deal if you miss playing like what else is coming out as a launch title not not too much it really is oh my god this i guess i didn't notice that this mod really eats your frame rate sometimes dude it's also about to be paid to win i mean it gives you some souls and i imagine the all the everything but the the scythe would be in the game and you just start off with it so i guess it'll make it a little easier for the people that download it but anybody who knows how to play a souls game would have been fine regardless so i don't really call it pay to win unless those items are amazing like dark souls 3 is pay to win ring city dlc that's all that's all you got to say that's that's that has some of the best items in any souls game it's got all the best rings tons of amazing we actually we actually talked about this maybe it's the shadows you're right i do have everything maxed the [ __ ] out but if it's getting skips randomly like my actual game i'll just send shadows off because they don't do much anyway okay i guess this works yeah well it kind of is if you don't buy the dlc the ring city you're missing out on really really good rings and weapons and for pvp that's kind of pay to win i thought you could still win with the base items like obviously like you know but i'm just saying that that stuff does actually help so i find it like depending on how good the weapons are in the demon souls remake that you're given i don't know yet okay let's go this way the one of the rings in the ring city the ring of favorite plus three uh the the stone plate ring or the steel protection ring plus three um a lot of the good plus three rings is basically the chlorine during plus three yeah as long as you can get that thing i can see why people would be sad if they didn't get the pre-order if like those random new like items aren't accessible in the game that's going to kind of suck for sure because then you can't like get everything obviously yeah oh this crossbow man is a legend wow don't kick his ass cathedral you're getting your ass kicked that's the opposite of what you should be doing uh yeah it's not great but it's still it's still good and the weapons are really what carry it ring nice straight swords amazing the paired ring night ultras are insane for like gank teams um just there's so much man dlc even the ashes of a variant had some good stuff most of the weapons though and one of those dlcs is kind of like but yeah it is more costly what is it 10 more us dollars for the pre-order edition or something like that so it's cheaper than a dlc but all you're getting is those items so i feel you okay y'all yeah i don't even know like how that site is where'd my slovrene go sir oh it's 20 more yeah yeah i'm not gonna lie i got it i want all the items so i did it but then again like dark souls is like what i play every day so get him positive night [ __ ] [ __ ] okay you know what this was a good choice that guy is mega aggressive i know the pre-order doesn't cost more than the base game if you get the deluxe edition which is the one that comes with those like pre-order items then i cost more i got it as a digital download i don't really use hard copies too much anymore yeah it's just a preference i also find i don't know how quiet the ps5 is going to be so we'll see you know kind of assuming it'll still make noise because it's a disc running but uh yeah that's bad come here right i guess we're going to take on a boss that was pretty quick to get to a boss honestly ah do you think now i probably have to summon it did anything die oh my cathedral night is dead oh [ __ ] okay um you know what we'll try it anyway let's try this silver night strat first all i'll go aggress and then you you use your arrows okay what kind of [ __ ] is this silver knights do something homie my silver knight is glitch rip oh my plan like i cannot get bruh oh rip this little spider oh that's not a spider that's a demon not not a bad choice though not not overall not terrible oh boy i'll help that with firebombs with my 19 damage hit him please demon what the [ __ ] hit him again there we go i need some work out of you oh come on you that would have counted it would have threw him right off the ledge okay now that he's focused on me it's kind of good loki no no ah okay well ring knight here we go get him bro thank god that leg was still intact i'll stay full health oh better wait what's that oh yeah that's my uh metronome thing okay ring that kind of in a bad situation here i don't have many left what did he kill feels like everything elder grew i guess let's go okay this is a faulty this is rough because so many of my mons are legit not able to fight here i guess i think we're gonna have to leave this boss fight unless like i can fully face tank everything oh no i don't think i have any fightable things left there's three of them that are like just doing nothing that's overnight died is this dead that's nice oh now he's dead okay yeah i got none left okay wait wait why is the cathedral light alive no it's not okay well then okay i guess we're gonna switch that up that was sad do you remember which ones didn't fight i think it was the silver knight didn't fight the that would be so lore friendly but no i'm the right tier for these ones so silver and i didn't fight elder didn't fight okay i can get two replacements um giant crab oh yeah let's try giant crabbo where is he giant wait is that crab or giant crab that's crab this one's giant crab okay and then we'll go for um what else would likely fight in that room like this is tough they let me down man what about the giant i think he's good enough oh ryder knight you know what i think that's a good call it's aggressive it's kind of aggressive anyway jailor jailer we'll bring out if we have to chris it's a bit op i did it for your because it would have taken way too long but yeah we'll see what we can do with this at least a silver night might be oh you know what i should pet them yeah that's true i should have but like some of them didn't fight even when they got pet so like the silver and i did not like yeah the jailers are amazing it destroyed the arm i caught one because i was in the dungeon and i was like hang on if they actually use their like ability where it drains your health op and he actually did after i pet him so i think you can revive if you buy like revives and stuff but that wasn't worth it three of them didn't fight so would have been a waste oh yeah this is the longest elevator in the game forgot about that ie would i like a full pvp based soul game well i mean dark souls has pvp incorporated everywhere in it already but if you're talking about like ql for a lobby we have arena for that too i love the way dark souls does it already they just kept making games similar to this playstyle even if they changed the name and stuff i'd be happy i like i like how you can traverse through areas and have people invade i like this in arena for the people that like arena you know kind of caters to both so that's my favorite balance all right so it's tough i gotta like make him aggro me and then uh maybe i'll throw a crab it's like super high tank defense battle royale souls like i did something like that with my community once where all my friends like set up the world and prepped it with random weapons and [ __ ] and that was fun obviously that was cool okay low-key crab doing [ __ ] work homie oh no he's stuck oh that was actually good okay all right or night get off me oh he frost bit him that's gonna make further physical damage so much better okay that hurt me a lot oh my god oh my god cathedral night getting dummied okay come on demon i need your tankiness right now maybe hit him off the ledge that would be great not you though please don't you go off the ledge that'd be terrible this one's a lot easier this time around get him demon no come on don't let him best you yeah good [ __ ] good [ __ ] that's better good job this one's my giant he's my homie i love him uh i'm pretty sure i don't know why those are actually in the game and do damage everything else does one damage but firebombs do 30 like 10 or 20 so they must they must have a reason for being there i'm trying to think of like in pokemon what you can do that was yeah would have been first if my pokemon would have fought but three of them didn't fight i actually have plus of a man oh they're like rocks in the safari zone that's genius you're right though they do throw rocks to distract pokemon you're right great okay that makes sense that's a legit it's a legit thing right there they do so much damage 18. that's right you can throw rocks look at you guys damn how recently have you guys played pokemon because [ __ ] i didn't think of that can you catch that we're gonna find out hang on before i go in here i'm gonna go buy a bunch of uh flasks to catch people that's true throwing a a really hard rocket a weedle that might mess him up dude have i played pokemon of course i think i've played every pokemon generation up to date yes as i have trying to think of i missed one i might miss the one one of the versions but ultimately every gen gen's one to four what's that uh red and then silver and then ruby and then uh pearl drift yeah that makes sense i guess if you count like emerald but that's still third gen so uh what am i doing here oh yeah shop that's right and yo teddy good evening good evening sir thank you i appreciate the love man uh you know what i'm gonna keep buying wait do i have any i have zero of these how many of these did i waste on that whatever the hell wait oh okay i have a hundred thousand souls so i'll get 40 of those it'd be great you know what i actually don't have that good of luck using the great balls i have better luck using the regular ones so there's a gens yeah i know well the newest ones are actually pretty solid even there's like the pikachu version and the eevee version and then uh anything else that i need i can level up i suppose i should keep sacrificing stats yeah i haven't really leveled up much but i need 10 decks for the max cast speed i need 10 intelligence for a reason for getting it my attunement is my slots of pokemon and my vitality is already as low as it goes i think so yeah we don't have anything to sacrifice i would need to legit just level up to keep doing that so let's do it i guess what gave us the best stuff was it stamina stamina up the max hp of the pokemon it's funny to see that you're playing this because i'm watching podcasts thank you man i ever seen because it kills itself every time he has it really the hollow thrall okay i didn't i don't think i've pet it so i didn't notice that's freaking hilarious dude thank you man yeah i think uh me pratt a few others are playing this i don't know if lost is going to continue it i think he told me he wasn't enjoying it as much but i'm not sure sacrifice self let's go uh yeah endurance sacrificing gave us better hp so we'll do that cool catch the judicator yeah i actually have one there we go yeah the dlcs aren't prepped yet in this uh mod so i'm not going dlc's yet i'm doing base game first and then we'll we'll go to the dlcs when we can so we're gonna go to the grand archives next and siddharth your favorite music type i guess alternative maybe or like hi yeah alternative is good i also like like any type of like band music basically like for not really rock but like alternative like like you know when you have like screamo bands but they're not heavy on the screaming so it's like they have like some vocals that are screaming but most of it is just good vocals and good actual instruments i don't even know what you'd classify that as but that's kind of like my favorite killer here maybe the ryder knight for a use of only loot bugs in this area joking kinda also have you watched jiu-jitsu kaizen yet or jujutsu kaizen yet new animated country role i haven't i kind of wait for the new season ones to pile up a couple episodes at least before i watch them because i don't like waiting weekly so i'm kind of watching like old stuff right now okay internet i choose you are pretty yeah they're not the best they're really strong in packs not gonna deny that after what i experienced but yeah they're not the best i already have a lizard uh like the little ones and the crystal sage is dead so we can just go up here ascended do you think this i don't know i don't know if you could pair mods that's that's going into a new territory that i've never really experienced i wonder if you could pair mods ascended pocket souls that might be terrifying slash could be fun you know in its own way could be good bad [ __ ] i did a lot of damage i know i'm gonna grab a wing night i forgot the one that was in the lothric castle i'm gonna grab the next one or maybe the golden ones are they better or are they different in any way at all i don't think they're different probably but i'll catch the old one ascended randomized good luck maybe on the base mode i figured out what the difference where uh was between the base and the the hell mode uh the hell mode has uh everything has lifesteal all the bosses all the enemies uh the passive region i think is stronger uh i don't know when but most things have tears and later on they stopped having them i don't i don't know some things had tears it was it was weird but the base ascended is a lot easier just just off the bosses not having lifesteal alone so you guys try it and you want to enjoy it more than hell like try the try the regular one the hell one's a bit a bit tough and a bit out there i send it on slot oh my god that might be terrifying no you know i don't even care about twinkling titanite that ring though might be worth it depending on the situations later there we go i think it'd be really cool to try pokemon battles if uh me and another streamer don't really care about our account because it'll get banned if we go online but i think it'd be really fun it was like a joke stream pretty sure you can't pair mods with mod engine true the the file changing ones i probably could but i don't you're right mod engine does all the work for this one so i have a gargoyle right i do yeah catch havel i don't think you can catch npcs so there's that i actually have a gargoyle actually so i think i've caught most of things in the archives except for well all right then sir you uh chose maybe i i've never tried to catch an npc and these these knights are the same as the other knights right or would it get its blessed sword hang on if it gets the lothric ultra sword that would uh that might be better honestly oh [ __ ] okay let's try fighting it then unless i think i remember you guys telling me that what is with this [ __ ] certain pokemon don't like to fight in certain areas it's very difficult okay he's actually doing something no he's not i think it's when like the game glitches out like this guy's like part see-through he doesn't make sound anymore come here oh yeah ring night don't care right night's a deal this guy thinks he's tough homie this guy thinks he's tough and then he gets wrecked good job ring knight thank you yeah that's a tough thing we do have an already yeah i think i honestly have caught everything except for the stupid fire demon he died on me somehow by just like being stuck in between like the roof and the floor because he was too small for it and then he just died it was sad but i got the stray demon i just didn't get the fire demon no i've already had a thousand years of death of this you are nothing on your own stop it once i can roll away i'm leaving you yeah bye okay i know i got yeah both of them did die wait was there two yeah i killed one with sigurd to do this quest line and then i tried catching the one in the before the demon ruins and it it went up to where the mimic was and it just died it was just standing there just died like to to glitch you know you know it's tough okay let's see how we can do you boys want a battle well i choose obviously kingler hey you stop no no fair kingler tingler got hit by the magic that's not fair oh kingly keep no keep on this one he's weak he's weak kingler no it's okay go get him haunted night get him yeah wind that [ __ ] up yeah nice okay now forgot the mage mage is a just always does that chain attack no you can't catch the npcs yeah crabs are weak to the nerds sadly it's okay though in the end we destroyed them we're gonna go try to catch a wing night oh okay and then after that dude get the oh oh does the one you catch affect what one's gonna be in your roster if so then yeah i'll try to make sure i grab the dragon one i mean the halberd one uh true i don't know man like are the wing knights all the same instead of catching a gold one should i should i go for i should get the other shortcut though just in case the mod is awesome dude wait legendary here oh what oh is this a pokemon battle go get him god damn it the cathedral has legit been like the best thing up until this point so this is very disheartening he does that in bursts of three okay nice getting ready to pet him nice now get the pet nice start your next pokemon let's go let's go yuria no that's not fair you came out attacking look at that look at that dishonored why did that thing have so much activity what is it is that thing it's like a scholar but it's more beast okay you come back because they tend to cheaply hit you at the beginning that's not fair all right both at the i'm gonna i'm gonna go up to the wig nights now uh i'm gonna just go sit to regen the pokemon that died though that's solid just gonna send hate mail that hurt a lot actually wow oh true i don't think the pokemon can but i'm surprised that he didn't do his self-heal yeah i'm gonna remember you're right you're right or like the cathedral night is solid but he's not working in this area so they all work other than him what else can we add to the to the roster here um i mean the silver knight no it was glitch too right that's why i switched it out it wasn't working well it wasn't working against the boss but i guess the terrain's kind of the same maybe the black knight we'll just throw on a black knight just cuz sullivan's dog could be useful but i find the big ones though they're very useless when it comes to trying to like hit a specific target they're like they're strong in in like herds but maybe to catch a winged knight i'll try to use the tankier ones that are less huge no uh becca you can't catch bosses no npcs no bosses but you can catch everything else basically uh the vault hunter hey chase i want to start at dark souls 3 or dark souls 2 play through my channel today and i was wondering if you had any tips i'll see people's games finally honestly if you're just doing playthroughs i'd say just you know try to conversate with anybody that comes into the chat and always kind of narrate what you're doing like when you start streaming uh you're probably not used to like vocalizing everything that you do but that's like a huge part of streaming especially kind of ps5 that hopefully will make the p or the bloodborne game 60fps that would be solid in my books i'd be very pleased with that as a pc main player though i would love bloodborne but i mean it's a big selling point for sony so one day there won't be exclusives but currently i don't think that's gonna happen oh you only need one ticket to challenge them yeah i don't like i don't see why a lot of the games won't be 60 fps i know they didn't really confirm it but like it's on the same kind of software as ps4 just more powerful and i guess if the game is locked in at 30 fps they would need to do like a patch where they unlock the fps to 60. but certain games have unlocked fps like dark souls 3 i'm pretty sure so that's why you get variable frame rates on the ps4 pro so i'm thinking at the very minimum ds3 will be 60fps because of that i don't know about a lot of games but for the ones that have variable frame rate and unlocked frame rate i think so just like uh yeah ps4 pro is 48 yeah and it fluctuates backers so they have it unlocked so that means it could probably hit 60 on the 5 but that's just me speculating and guessing but i don't see why they wouldn't and future games will all be at least 60 fps so that's a win yeah at least four in pokemon you just go one after the others you have to really prep with heels and stuff for in between the matches ah they're i'm not using pontiff did a lot of damage but then he died in like one little combo so um dude it's so funny we've been having a good time with it uh what does petting do usually it brings out a buff that they normally use like let's say the lothric knights right if you pet them or i guess i can give you an example with like the ryder knight uh it usually gives them a buff of some kind or makes them use a certain ability i think this one makes him use the ice breath more like encompass it into his attacks from what i've seen and it gives him power within or something it usually buffs them in some way i already have a black knight though and the only sad thing is that i wish that they had all the different types of each of the pokemon like the different swords that they use you know they don't sadly whatever one you catch i think is the main one or whatever one's coded in is the main one which is fine uh some of the the beginning was kind of rough in some areas of io but it's not very difficult like in terms of the mods this one's not super hard i guess it can be if you do it badly like and you don't level good stats catch good pokemon you know you actually can you know i'm gonna say this i had to actually manage my souls very well to buy the pokeballs and stuff because some of them are hard to catch and you need some like tier threes to be set like in pokemon you have the badge system right where when you when you get badges you are able to you know have a higher level pokemon obey you this is kind of like you have to catch a certain amount of pokemon to get to the next tier to catch the better tiered pokemon so it's kind of like that and yeah you have to get kind of lucky with the cat traits too it's really fun though it is uh wait are the eyes over here yeah oh wait no no wait yeah there we go my fashion is just whatever i can wear to be honest there's no fashion souls here it's glorious though in its own way yeah it's basically pokemon i think they did their best to that's getting the buffs so they have the trainer here that allows you to sacrifice your your main stats for the pokemon stats so if i sacrifice endurance my pokemon get plus hp uh what i just did was hp regen so when they're out they normally regen a certain amount of hp but i want it to be high as possible for ongoing long battles um yeah and then if you play you'll see that if you sacrifice faith intelligence decks they all do different things so okay what do we have left oh yeah our dragon peak okay so i'll go to the dungeon wherever you may be mr dungeon uh wait did i okay i did thank god sometimes i don't grab distant manner and that's a problem but we're good so far so uh plus of a man is okay for the elite four okay i'll keep that in mind i have it so we have that going for us thoughts on a one twelly hall or a 120 hollow bleed build i did one kind of recently um it worked kind of well i mean sometimes if you get true combos with some mix-ups that i had going the bleed would kill them and finish them off by no means the best build but you can make you can make bleed work i made it work but like it's not not the best i'm not lying to you like definitely not the best
