Stay right there! This is my last day. I appreciate the opportunity
to work with you. The most difficult thing
of walking away from this job is leaving those guys. We're not going to hurt you. We need to get those kids
out of there. <i>Put down those guns, man.</i> I don't like this. (man)
Kids, kids, kids, kids, kids, kids. What's going to happen? [rock music] (man)
Barricaded suspect, armed and dangerous. (man)
Suspect is inside. (man)
We're going to hit
the ground running. (man)
βͺ Adrenaline's running higher. βͺ βͺ Strap the metal to my back. βͺ (man)
30 seconds to the target house. Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Pull! βͺ βͺ Police!
Police! [rock music] βͺ βͺ I was a young man
when I first came into the SWAT. As you age
and your body breaks down and the injury time
takes so much longer to recover. 48. <i>Aging.</i> I feel like I'm 106. <i>[laughs]</i> In a week from now, I'm going to be transferred
to Narcotics, and actually,
it's a lot easier on the body. I don't get
the early-morning call-outs at 3:00 in the morning, the 5:00 a.m. workouts. You know,
those are certainly things I'm not going
to have to do over there. <i>(man)
Over in Narcotics,</i> you're not going to see him
running on a treadmill. (Fuller)
If I stay here,
I keep wondering, "What's the next injury
going to be?" And I used to tell my team,
you know, that, "One more surgery,
and I'm out of here." It's time for me
to move on and get somebody younger
in this job that can, you know,
be more of a contributor. Now I've got to get ready
for a briefing on a drug warrant that we're doing
later this afternoon. You got three potential entry points. You got the alpha, <i>the delta,
and the baker side.</i> (Gordon)
Today we're going
to make a hit for Narcotics and ATF,
which stands for Alcohol, Tobacco,
and Firearms. We got a search warrant
on the location for them. There's a high probability the suspect may have
high-powered weapons, so we're going
to make the hit for them. <i>(Fuller)
They are possible
gun dealers,</i> possible gang members,
you know, so we want to take
the fight out of them. [speaking quietly] Larry, I need you
to be a breacher, <i>okay, for us
on the baker side here.</i> Okay. Misty, I need you
to come over here and deploy the bang
with this team. <i>So as we move up,</i> <i>you move up
with this team here.</i> Primary entry point, alternate
entry point here. As a third option, it can be this door
on this side. We roll this team around <i>and breach this door
as a third option.</i> Do you have any intel
on this place or these individuals? (man) <i>(Fuller)
So the intel we have today
is incomplete,</i> so we're going
to really need to be <i>on our toes today, guys.</i> <i>(Lee)
As far as the C side here,</i> because of the trees
and all the different foliage, we couldn't get anything
from aerial or any other intel. <i>I do not know
what's back there.</i> <i>Our intel states,
"No children,</i> <i>no elderly,
no surveillance."</i> But there is a good eye. That good eye is armed. Basically,
a good eye is a person that hangs out on the street,
looks out for police. They would alert
the people inside that we're coming either by walkie-talkie,
maybe cell phone, or maybe even
just a hand signal. The suspect can arm himself. Suspect maybe could
destroy evidence or maybe even flee the location
prior to us arriving. <i>(Fuller)
You cannot be out here</i> without soft body armor
and a raid jacket. If there are shots
fired out here <i>on our approach or whatnot,
we will lock it down,</i> and we'll handle it
as a barricade subject. (Gordon)
A lot of those crack houses
we deal with are using high-powered rifles
like AKs, SKSs. It presents a problem, because high-powered rifle
has the possibility of going through your vest. <i>(Fuller)
All right, guys,
let's go to work.</i> They're allegedly
selling drugs and guns out of this location, which gives us two things
to worry about: one is that they can
run back inside and destroy the evidence, or two, they can grab
their weapons and fight. So we have to be very prepared
for this one. [suspenseful music] βͺ βͺ This is a diversionary device. We call them bangs. It creates a really loud bang... [explosion] A really--a big flash and some smoke, and that allows us
enough time to get inside of a room while that person is still
confused and distracted. In order to deploy
a diversionary device, you have to hold the spoon down,
pull the pin, and then safely toss it. On three. On three. (all)
One, two, three, hit it. (Fuller)
You can never know exactly what's going to happen
on these warrants, so you have to prepare
for everything and anything. Stay focused, guys. [suspenseful music] βͺ βͺ <i>(Fuller)
Okay, let's unload.</i> Let's load onto the boards. Come on, guys, let's go. Okay, moving out.
Moving out. Seventh house, Mike,
seventh house. <i>It's the stone house
right there.</i> Curb.
Hold on. Excellent, excellent. [glass shattering] Let's move. Let's move. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. [glass shattering] Bang, bang, bang! [explosion] Get on the ground. Hold it.
Going in. [siren wailing] [glass shattering] Let's move.
Let's move. Let's move. [siren wailing] I got a positive breach
on baker, <i>positive breach on baker.</i> [indistinct shouting] <i>[Fuller over radio]
Alpha, be advised</i> <i>you've got a prop
on baker and delta.</i> [siren wailing] What's going to happen? It's okay. (Lee)
The guys are going
to be running <i>a Narcotics warrant today.</i> Our intel states no children, no elderly, no surveillance. <i>(Fuller)
They are possible
gun dealers,</i> possible gang members. Excellent. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Bang, bang! [explosion] They've got elderly <i>and kids inside.</i> What's going to happen? [both sobbing] (Fuller)
Also understand
that we believe this structure to be full of gang members
and guns and things of that nature. Do you speak English,
ma'am? [speaking Spanish] No English. <i>Tell them
that everything's okay.</i> Ask them if they're connected
to this side. <i>[officer speaking Spanish]</i> [together]
No. So it's separate. [speaking Spanish] <i>[speaking Spanish]</i> Okay, 850 to 880,
this a separate location. It's not connected to yours. It turns out that this
is actually a duplex, and these are separate
family living units. It looks like
it's all one structure, but it's actually two. Don't worry. Tell them
don't worry about anything. <i>Okay?</i> Medic. <i>Hey, doc?</i> We got an infant baby inside. Just check it,
because it was in a bedroom
where we did a-- Inside here? <i>Yes.</i> Into there, straight ahead. Just double-check the baby. Make sure the baby's okay. As a precautionary,
you know, we're going to have it checked with the medics that we have
on board with us, you know, just to be
on the safe side. (man)
I found out from the lady
it's a duplex. It's not a different address.
It's all one house. Apparently what they've done
is, they've taken a house and illegally turned it
into a duplex, so you have two different
entities living inside. You got one that, based
on what we can tell this far, doesn't know anything
about this group, and they're leasing
this side of this house from somebody else. <i>Tell--don't worry.</i> <i>Tell them, "Don't worry
about anything."</i> <i>Tell her it's okay for her
to put her arms down.</i> You know, it's very dangerous
for the Narcotics officers to scope out these locations
to get quality intel, and so we had to kind of
split our resources here. We want to make sure
this family's okay, and so I'm having
that attended to now while the other guys attend
to what we came out here for. <i>(man)
Police. Come on out.
Police.</i> We got nothing. It looks like something
over to the right. Keep your hands up
and stay right there. Stay right there.
Don't move. <i>[man over radio]
We have one suspect in custody.</i> I believe you, dawg. I believe you, big dawg.
I believe you. You going to search it? 885, 882, we're going
to search the garage. [door banging] Police! Police! Come on down. Don't make us come get you. <i>Down slow.
What's in your hand?</i> Got a runner.
Got two of them. We did have several people
run out back, so they were all
taken into custody by the perimeter team. When we came inside, we were coming up the door,
we saw this. I mean, they could have been
waiting for us inside, watching all our movements. But luckily all the suspects
were in the back of the room. <i>(Wellhouse)
Dallas Narcotics and ATF</i> is doing a search
of the house right now for illegal contraband
that they believe is inside. We got a hole in the floor
back here. Narcotics search yielded some marijuana,
some methamphetamine. They also found
a bunch of weapons and, apparently,
some Black Talon ammo, which is armor-piercing. I think it's nicknamed
"Cop Killer," so it's good to take
those rounds off the street. <i>(woman)
Can we clear this?</i> (Fuller)
Yes, yes, you all clear that. Here, I'll take these ladies. You all clear it. Don't book anything. <i>(man)
Is there one more kid
missing?</i> (Fuller)
Was he wearing
a green shirt? [speaking Spanish] (Fuller)
All right, 850 to 880,
hey, just be advised <i>as you see another
kid back there.</i> <i>They're missing one kid.</i> The child's name
is Jonathan. <i>I repeat, his name
is Jonathan.</i> Are you Jonathan? Okay. Your mom's in there. <i>Hablo inglΓ©s?</i> You speak English? And Spanish. And Spanish.
Oh, you're smart. As a father myself, my heart goes out
to the families, because it's
a traumatic experience for a child
or a family to have to go through
having a search warrant executed on their house. (Fuller)
Jonathan, come here. We'll take you
up to your mama. Infant, small kids,
and women inside there living next door to gang members
and drug activities probably going on all hours
of the night, so, you know,
it's unfortunate for them to have to live
in this type of environment. Okay, here's Jonathan. Tell her he's fine. Jonathan's okay, back with the mother. The infant's okay.
Everything's fine. In the long run, those kids won't have to live and grow up next to
some dope dealers. It's been cleaned out of there,
so they benefit from that. (Fuller)
Every operation's
a learning experience. What the guys probably got
out of this one is, is that things aren't always
as they appear to be. Plan for the unexpected: being able to read
the environment, read the changes,
and then, you know, make the right decisions
after that. [electronic music] βͺ βͺ [baby crying] Hey, bubba. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.
Good morning. I can't believe that he's already
five months old. Seems like just yesterday
that he was born. And now he's just getting big. His teeth are starting
to come in, and he's just
growing up fast already. Go change your diaper? It's not always easy
with my schedule to help out my wife
as much as I'd like to, so when I'm here,
I try to do as much as I can. So even tough SWAT guys
can change diapers. Oh, perfect. See, Daddy's pager's going off. Let's go see what it says. [sighs] I got called out. Some robbery suspects
robbed a drugstore. They've got them
in an apartment complex. Oh, really? Yeah. I'm going to go. I love you. I love you too. I'll call you
when it's done. Okay, be careful. Okay. We got a white female
and a black male <i>that robbed a drugstore.</i> They didn't show a gun, although they said
they had one. They knocked down the clerk, and they ran off
inside the apartment. Danny. (Baker)
We're hearing
that the suspects have possibly stolen
some baby supplies. Doesn't sound like something
that's real dangerous or something that a SWAT team
might need to handle, but allegedly they have a gun,
so what was a simple theft has now kind of
turned into a big deal. (Emberlin)
We were supposed
to work at 10:00, and my pager says about 6:10. Ruined my whole
coffee experience. <i>What were they looking for,</i> money or dope? That's why I wouldn't
have another baby. It's too much trouble
and expensive. [laughs] Where is it? It's the last apartment
on the very end. The suspect vehicle <i>is the beige Olds
parked right in front.</i> <i>(Emberlin)
Okay.</i> You can tell
they caught them <i>right in the middle there.</i> <i>Ah, Vince,</i> nobody stole
one cup of coffee and left it
out front here for a brother. [laughs] I'm getting
a quick front schematic of what we're looking at, how the door opens, how many threats
we're looking at. We can shoot straight in <i>if we hear any gunfire
or anything like that.</i> <i>Okay.</i> (Byas)
We have a witness that says that his daughter
is babysitting in there who has nothing to do with this. We'll try and figure it out, see where your daughter's at,
all right? Apparently, this is not
the alleged robber's apartment. Why they chose
to run into this one, we don't know yet. We don't know
what the connection is. We don't know
if there's any friendlies that might be there or anyone else
that might harm us. 862, we already got
a floor plan. What you got? Right now, <i>there's going to be
three kids inside,</i> <i>a possible fourth.</i> <i>A possible four kids</i> with one, two, three, possibly four,
five people inside. (Baker)
We can't be sure exactly how many people
are inside the apartment, but is entirely possible
that the babysitter and the children are being held
against their will. I don't like this. Especially if
there's kids in there. <i>Which way does
the door face?</i> <i>Is it facing--</i> I haven't even
taken a look yet. <i>Somebody's coming out.</i> <i>Heads up.</i> Suspect's at the door. Come straight here to me. <i>Come straight here to me.</i> (Byas)
We got a white female
and a black male that robbed a drugstore. [siren wailing] And then they ran off
inside the apartment. There's going to be three kids
inside, plus one. I don't like this. [rock music] βͺ βͺ <i>Somebody's coming out.</i> (Emberlin)
Suspect's at the door. Suspect's at the door. <i>Get your hands up.</i> Get your hands up,
both of them. (Baker)
Come on, both of you. Right here. Hey, officer,
step back, please. <i>Turn around for me.</i> <i>Walk backwards to me.</i> <i>Come on back.</i> <i>Okay, come on back.</i> Come on, come on, come on. [siren wailing] Behind your back. What is your name? Amy Mundy. Who else is inside
the apartment? Listen, okay? <i>We are here because
we understand that you</i> possibly were involved
in a robbery. You came out. Me and her were walking out to get a cigarette
out of my car, and y'all just put guns
in my face. Okay. (Baker)
We've ID'd the white woman
as the female suspect. that allegedly robbed the store
for baby supplies. What drugs
did you take today? What drugs
did I take today? Yes. I smoked some marijuana. That's it. What time? Way earlier. Way earlier.
Okay. Have you taken anything else? Are you sure? Okay. (Baker)
Now we're going to speak
to the other woman who apparently
lives at the apartment and see if she can give us any more information
about who might still be inside. Okay, you live there. This is my residence. This is what
I'm understanding: there's you, this young lady here, <i>your boyfriend.</i> What is your boyfriend's
name again? Carneleous?
Spell that. C? Carneleous. I ain't never tried
to spell it. I don't know. He's your boyfriend,
not mine. Trust me, I know. Two females have already
come out of the apartment, and they left
all the kids inside. Okay, we just want
to account for everybody. Okay? All right? (Byas)
From what we understand, the apartment owner's boyfriend,
Carneleous, who allegedly
robbed the drugstore, is still inside. There's also two other males, a babysitter,
and four kids: a lot of people
in the apartment, and it's getting
more and more complicated. I'm going to show you
a layout of the apartment, and I just want you to tell me
where everybody is so that we know so that if we have
to go in there, we know where your kids are
and we can take care of them. Who's in the bedroom? My two kids.
There's two beds. There's a boy
and a girl in there. Do you or anyone that
would be in there have a gun? Nobody has a gun. Nobody has a gun. <i>I don't let people--
I have kids.</i> <i>I don't let people
in my house with guns.</i> Okay. <i>I am not
that type of person.</i> Right now,
you're not in trouble. Okay. But because we have a situation, we have to make sure
everybody's secured, and we have to make sure
everybody's safe. <i>It'll be all right.</i> <i>What are your kids' names?</i> Deandre,
Nevaea, and Arial. Okay. They'll be all right. We're going
to take care of them, okay? There's only one entrance point
to the house right now, and this is it. So if we make entry,
we'll do it from this side. We got four kids
in there, and that changes a lot
of the things that we do. This is what I'm worried about
right here. The children become
our main priority, and if that means we have
to make an emergency assault to get them out safely,
that's what we'll do. We're about to try
to make contact with them. We're going try a loud "hello"
over the PA system, and a hopefully we can
get the kids out if nobody else
wants to come out. <i>KJ, we're ready
when you are.</i> Okay. This is the Dallas Police
SWAT Team. We're outside your apartment. Everybody needs to come out
the front door right now. There's nowhere you can go.
There's nothing you can do. For the safety of yourself
and the kids inside, you need to come out
of the front door now. <i>[Baker over radio]
844 to 880, it sounds like
they could be trying</i> <i>to knock through
an interior wall.</i> We need to check this apartment. <i>(Emberlin)
The patrol guy
said they cleared it.</i> <i>Yeah, but it sounds like</i> <i>they're digging
through the walls.</i> Oh. <i>(Emberlin)
That might be our suspect
burrowing in there.</i> They're trying to dig
into the adjacent apartment, so we have to make sure
they don't get in there. This apartment's
all been evacuated. <i>The ones on the back.</i> <i>The ones in back
are clear.</i> (Baker)
We never want to try
to damage property that belongs
to a innocent person, but in this case, they're trying
to get through the walls from one apartment to another. Looks like we're going
to have to break into the apartment next door just to prevent
that from happening, because we can't
let them escape that way. (Emberlin)
Bust out this window,
and we're going to go in here. <i>[man over radio]
Roger that.</i> Hello? We're ready to go? <i>Yeah.</i> Everybody inside the apartment
needs to come out. There's kids crying
in there. So you need to be smart. <i>You think about it,</i> <i>there's no reason
for you to stay in.</i> <i>Why don't you come out
with the kids?</i> <i>We can't change
what has happened.</i> We don't want this
to get any worse. <i>Open the front door.</i> <i>Nobody's going to hurt you.</i> <i>But we need to get
those kids out of there.</i> Door's open. There you go,
open the door. <i>Come on out.</i> <i>Just send the kids out.</i> <i>Nobody wants to hurt you.</i> <i>Here we go.</i> <i>Come on out with the kids.</i> <i>Everybody inside
has to come out.</i> <i>(man)
No, no, no, man.</i> <i>Put down the guns, man.</i> It's policy.
Nobody's going to hurt you. <i>There should be
just enough people,</i> <i>if everybody grabs
one of the kids,</i> <i>and get this thing over with.</i> <i>There you go, buddy.
Walk out with the kid.</i> <i>Nobody's going to hurt you.</i> <i>We're trying
to help you all.</i> <i>Come on over here.</i> <i>(Jackson)
Is that everybody inside?</i> Come on, lady, come on. It's okay, baby. Who else
is in the house? <i>(man)
That's it.</i> Ain't nobody else up in there. Nobody else
in the apartment? <i>(Byas)
You got them both?</i> <i>Are they all okay?</i> All the kids are out. We've got two males
and the babysitter. We still don't know where our main suspect,
Carneleous, is. Listen, we need to know if there's anybody else
inside there. Who's ever inside
could get hurt. We don't want
anybody to get hurt. Is there
someone else inside? Huh?
Okay. 10-4, there is
one more person inside. <i>Repeat, there is
one more person inside.</i> This is the Dallas Police
SWAT Team. We got a white female
and a black male that robbed a drugstore, and then they ran off
inside the apartment. <i>Somebody's coming out.</i> <i>Hands up.
Get your hands up.</i> (Emberlin)
Two females
have already come out of the apartment. <i>(Jackson)
For the safety of yourself</i> and the kids inside, <i>you need to come out
of the front door now.</i> Put down those guns, man. <i>(Byas)
Is there someone else inside?</i> Who's ever inside
could get hurt. 10-4, there is
one more person inside. <i>Repeat, there is
one more person inside.</i> 10-4. (Baker)
From what we understand, the apartment owner's boyfriend,
Carneleous, allegedly is the one
that robbed the drugstore, and he's still inside. (Byas)
All the kids are out.
They're all safe. Let's take care of Carneleous. Does he use drugs? Could he have been
smoking dope or anything? No, no. And then just, you know,
not coherent enough? No. Okay. Carneleous, we know
you're still inside. You got to listen to me, man. Everybody else is out.
Everybody's safe. <i>I can't change
what happened earlier.</i> <i>That was your doing.</i> <i>But we don't want this
to get any worse.</i> There's no real reason
for you to stay inside. <i>This deal is over with.</i> You need to listen to me and walk out the front door. <i>Nothing good can happen</i> <i>with you still inside
the apartment.</i> <i>Carneleous.</i> Suspect's at the door. <i>(Jackson)
Now, listen,
there you go.</i> <i>Put your hands up
and walk on out.</i> <i>Come on out.</i> I need to see your hands. Stop right there
and turn around. <i>Back up.</i> <i>Just back up.</i> <i>Back up.
Don't get on the ground.</i> <i>I said back up.</i> That's what
I'm talking about. <i>(Jackson)
Back up.</i> <i>Just lock your fingers
on your head.</i> <i>There you go,
perfect.</i> <i>Walk back.</i> Okay. You do try to calm
the situation down, because it's already intense when they look out
and the Dallas SWAT here. So I assure them, especially when you
get somebody out first, that it's simple after that. Catch your breath. Yeah, that was
outstanding, sir. I just do what I can do. We've still got
to make entry, though, and make sure
the apartment's clear. All right? Suspect tried to get through
the wall in here. Tight for him to get through. He was a little guy,
though. I think he could have
made it through it. Oh, man, yeah. (Emberlin)
Absolutely successful. Got those kids out. Got the suspect in custody. He gave up
because it was futile. Now I'm going to go
get my cup of coffee. [sander buzzing] Now that I'm leaving SWAT, I'm having a little get-together
here at the house, my wife and I are, as kind of
an appreciation dinner for the guys
that work for me. I'm going to carve
some SWAT boots for them as a momento. I don't know if they're
even going to like it or not. You know, you're talking
about SWAT guys. They're probably not
into little craft boots. To me, this more special than
anything that you can buy, because it's handcrafted. It'll be around forever. I love the SWAT job and I love the planning
and the ops, but the most difficult thing
of walking away from this job is leaving those guys. All righty. Later on today, we've got a warrant. It's my last warrant
as a SWAT team member. There is some
superstition involved in your last deal, because
there's so much riding on it. And I've got horror stories from guys that
at their last deal where things just didn't click the way you want them to, and those guys
right now are retired and they talk about it today. So I'm not going
to let that happen. I'm going to stay focused. I'm going to walk out
of this job today feeling good
about what we just did. We're going
to go down to Narcotics and meet with Sergeant Bardin, who's got a warrant
for us to do. She's going to provide us
a little bit more intel. This is the layout
of the house. There's usually four,
five suspects in there. They're black males, 18 to 25,
various height and weight. <i>What kind of guns were they?</i> <i>Do you remember?</i> <i>Semiautomatics.</i> <i>But so there's no kids that
I'd have to worry about.</i> <i>I'll see bikes
out there,</i> <i>but that's because</i> the good eye-- the good eyes
ride the bikes. <i>So if they were
to see us coming</i> on the APC on the bike, They'll be able
to let them know. You know what
we may have to do? <i>What about, like,
lead up with a van</i> <i>so the van--</i> Yeah, is blocking. <i>Yeah, blocks APC.</i> <i>Yeah, that's good.</i> <i>That's good.</i> Let's get started, guys. We're going to run
a warrant for Narcotics. <i>There's anywhere from
four to five young males</i> inside this location. <i>They've seen three
different types of handguns.</i> Depending on their mental state, they could fight. <i>They could just try to flee.</i> This here has a good eyes <i>that ride around the perimeter
of this location here,</i> <i>looking for us,</i> and then they have
walkie-talkies <i>that they communicate
with each other,</i> <i>and let them inside know</i> that you got the police coming. And then next thing you know, they're out and gone, <i>so we're going
to take our vans.</i> <i>Be aware</i> that somebody
could be running in there with a pistol popping rounds,
not looking at you, and I'm going to expect you <i>to take care of your business.</i> <i>Any questions</i> from the tactical personnel? All I want to say is that this is my last day. <i>I appreciate the opportunity
to work with you.</i> <i>I just want you to know</i> that wherever I'm at, you know, you can always
come and contact me. <i>I'll help you any way I can.</i> <i>I've thoroughly enjoyed working</i> with the SWAT division, and I enjoyed
working with you guys. <i>And that's basically
all I have to say.</i> I appreciate it. <i>Let's go to work.</i> I have a couple guys
that work for me, and they asked
if they could come along and help out on my last warrant, and of course, I was pleased that
they would want to do something like that
when they're on their day off. It's kind of
a bittersweet moment, Sergeant Fuller's
last warrant with us. Hopefully, we won't
send him off with a bang. You guys ready to load? <i>Start thinking about</i> what your assignment is. Rehearse it in your mind. Be ready for the unexpected. Right turn in a minute. It'll be the next street. <i>We're about a minute off.</i> A Narcotics detective
is out there right now, <i>giving us
real-time information.</i> <i>He said male left the house.</i> He's walking down the street,
keeps grabbing his right side <i>quite a bit like he might
be carrying a gun or something.</i> <i>(Fuller)
Which direction is he going?</i> South. 2855, is he heading
towards our arrival point or away from it? (Lee)
It's a bad combination: drugs, guns, and us coming in
to bust them. <i>(Fuller)
Did they give a description?</i> <i>(Fuller)
Okay, you say he's in front
of the target, correct?</i> <i>We can see the good eyes</i> are on bicycles, riding around
with walkie-talkies, you know, trying to alert the
people inside the drug house there the police are coming. <i>It's critical that
the element of surprise</i> <i>be there for us
on these warrants.</i> I hope this good eye's not going to mess things up
for us on this one. We're going to run
a warrant for Narcotics. <i>There's anywhere from
four to five young males</i> inside this location. (Lee)
A Narcotics detective is out there right now giving us
real-time information. A male left the house, might be
carrying a gun or something. (Fuller)
I can see the good eyes
are on bicycles, riding around
with walkie-talkies. <i>I'm not going to allow
this good eye</i> to ruin my last warrant here
in SWAT. 2855, is he heading towards our arrival point
or away from it? <i>(Lee)
Our undercover officer</i> <i>doing a surveillance
spotted a good eye</i> about three blocks
from the location. If someone doesn't grab him, he can compromise us. We'll lose
our element of surprise. <i>(Fuller)
Okay, if you need someone
to get him,</i> just have disruption
take him down if we get up on their sight. We're turning onto you
right now. That's the black male. He's got red cup. (Fuller)
Further, further, further. Right here. Right here.
Right here, stop. Let's move, let's move,
let's move. [glass shattering] [all shouting] [grenade exploding] [grenade exploding] [loud explosion] [glass shattering] [grenade exploding] [all shouting] <i>(man)
Line up, line up!</i> <i>(Guzman)
We got two suspects.</i> They were immediately
sitting right on the couch as they made entry right here, and we're taking those
right now into custody. (Fuller)
Hold on tight, now. Walking out. <i>(man)
Got one walking.</i> (Fuller)
