CVS Kidnapping Attempt Foiled by Dad of 4-Year-Old Boy: Cops

get on the floor get on the Flor a Florida man attempts to abduct a 4-year-old Child by grabbing the boy from his family in broad daylight literally the baby like literally just reached in the store and just like that was it like just try to grab yeah just like that straight like that and a tourist who just happened to witness the abduction comes to the rescue what did you see try to take the baby and where was he at was he inside a car entrance no we was all in the entrance of the CVS the baby how old is the baby I don't know I I couldn't really see but all I know oh close it for me close it for me yeah so the baby let's go over here so he he doesn't hear what's going on the baby you I turn around happening like they're fighting in right there like he tried to snatch the fing child bro I have five kids so this is like a you know I just felt his pain like you know like everybody was just looking around like bro this guy's about to get away hey so I just ran him down so here's what happened it was February 8th in Miami Beach Florida the little boy and his family were inside a CVS when this man identified as 26-year-old Nicholas meich sternaman reached in and grab the boy broad daylight try to snatch the just like that out of nowhere that's Devin saraja paal who witnessed the entire thing he was in Miami Beach visiting from Tampa how you were involved in this incident from beginning to end like maybe when you left your place that you're staying until this is so I left I came down I literally just parked on uh the on the side of the CVS that's CVS right CVS CVS and Walgreens yeah I hope I I hope the parking man doesn't give me a ticket no the officers are there okay so I I just now parked I literally get out cuz I'm looking for my Burberry glasses so I see the guy walking up on the sidewalk he has on a full jacket but he's looking so crazy like hard like I'm but you know I'm really not paying him no attention so I get out um I put my glasses on or whatever and I got to walk into the Walgreens now this guy did not follow me in there I just walked in there you walked into the CVS or the Walgreens c CVS CVS Sor okay because the CVS is across from the Walgreens well we we I don't know is CVS we was in yes CVS so we walked into the CVS I just walked in there and I just asked the gentleman can I used the rest ofro I turned around within 10 seconds I wasn't even in this building 15 seconds 10 seconds it was happening okay and alls I see was that this guy just like I didn't actually get to see it happen but this guy was trying to catch the baby cuz the girl the lady was so distract like she was just going crazy and then that's when him and him was fighting him and him who the the the father and the the suspect because he tried to take literally the baby like literally just reached in the store and just like that was it like just try to grab yeah just like that straight like that and then that's when he was like somebody call the police please and I'm just like oh my gosh this is happening so then me being me I just went outside and I seen him I was like bro this this guy can't get away no hell no so that's when I immediately call the cops and I just start jogging after him Devin says that as he was chasing after the suspect Nicholas he grabbed at other people who were along the sidewalk he takes off his shirt now right after that happened he takes off his shirt throws it on the ground there's two women that's standing on the sidewalk he approached one of the women and even try to grab her okay and then he proceeded to to like it looked like she just like what are you doing like get off me like that and he proceeded to run down and and I was on the phone I even said listen he's trying to grab even a lady so he starts jogging Stills jogging he Stills jogging I'm just jogging after him I tell um him come on let's go you know come with me and um we're just jogging I'm telling the police offic 73rd 70 72nd I thought he was going to come up the alley and that's when he came right here and I'm like this guy's going to get away cuz I thought he was going to like book it even faster and then that's when he came around I heard the sirens and then they got him right here on the floor okay the arrest is caught on body camera video too it shows an officer driving to the scene in his squad car before rushing to Nicholas when he gets eyes on the suspect get on the floor get on floor get on the floor I don't know I was just the officer then checks Nicholas's pockets and asks for his ID 972 in custody slow units down we're going to be at 6953 Hardy sit down sit down sit there cross your legs cross your legs cross your legs right there identification on you some people are homeless have stand up Nicholas is fairly Cooperative until it comes time for him to be put in a squad car take a seat put your fo inside put your put your foot inside put your foot inside put your foot inside at this point officers mom or the dad and the mom but you didn't see like a baby carriage a stroller no the stroller everything the toys everything right there so he was trying to take the baby from the stroller yes okay that's how you saw it and then what happened there was a struggle there was a struggle he they he was trying hold him to call the police everybody's looking fcking stupid so grabbing him saying no let go my baby what was the mom doing the mom was holding on to her her yeah yeah screaming while he's fighting this guy off because he tried to take hising child okay it's crazy bro okay that's wild that people and then they ran this way con Avenue 71st Street he made he made a ride came down this way yeah I started chasing his mother Deon and the boy's father chased after Nicholas until the cops finally caught up with him you were just you were just in theore I was just helping my guy I don't know him a good W because yeah AB get him separated absolutely run down Fu that come here I got five kids myself vacation take away I started chasing his and then I toldo let's go this is running okay this is broad daylight shit what if what if we would another you know and then on the way running here there was two young ladies just standing there he tried to grab the fing lady like on the way chasing like he tried to grab her again like that's crazy RA in bro like wow it's all right I know trouble to say the least but because Nicholas was shirtless when he was arrested the investigation soon turns to his clothing hey did you guys see him take off his shirt oh he when he was when he was walking down he took the shirt off right by the CVS on the left hand side he took the shirt off and threw it on the floor right the right by the uh CVS like on the way on way on the way to the on the 7300 BL so so by the Walgreens or by the CVS uh I'm here on walk he had on a jacket though he had on long sleeves when I seen him he had on a jacket first and then he T the jacket off the jacket off and he had a jacket and then he took off the jacket and then he took off the shirt and no it was lighter than that it was about was it a jacket or long sleeve shirt it was like a jacket it was like a jacket it was like tan not tan or like kind of like grayish like a grayish grayish jacket and the shirt yeah and the shirt what color was the shirt it was like white and the shirt was kind of whsh
