Curly Dan is having his big sale! Picked a bunch of cast iron today.

so at dan's he's gonna have a sale uh this friday saturday and sunday so figured we'd go check out uh what new he's picked up in the basement hopefully uh hopefully we find something good all this is going to be in the sale it's supposed to rain later today so i'm not going to uncover a bunch of the tarps that thing's weird well see what he's got we're going to his dungeon every once in a while he finds something pretty interesting here cool picasso litho man he got a lot of new stuff what is this thing guess it's like a sifter a greater pretty cool he's definitely going to have a good sale i was like the blue and white royal copenhagen that's a crazy painting like an irish flower almost oh wow holy jadeite this is number it says two i know that sets decent see if he's got a little bit of hotel wear i know it's always thicker fire king oven don't look like any pie plates or anything odd like that hey dan so are you going to have the sale yeah it's going to be nice friday saturday and sunday um what's the address again what do you want on the mixing bowls by the way they're going to be like around 20 to 35 a piece depending on like you have what's there oh there's a ton of them there i think you have with the one with the handle plus that stick there's like about 10 mixing bowls i don't think there's ten i think there's five one two three four five six six well if you want to call these mixing bowls i guess absolutely there are now you know what it is anything anything in the safe i don't know i can't get it open really all this stuff's gonna be and then it got the bell safes are always fun especially when you can't get them open where was that from down in burlington did a whole house and it was in the closet very back how much for the mystery safe 40 bucks i might have to do that all right i'll do that i had fun with the last safe oh it doesn't count yet you have to split anything you find in the woods uh that's fine but then i get back my 30 bucks unless it's attachments for this thing but then i get back my 30 bucks oh yeah you got a lot of a lot of stuff look at the shutters yeah these are all they have all the old strap hinges on oh i missed the really tall ones you don't see those too often there's a great stainless steel bed this was made in manhattan in the 1970s for some lady down here this thing yeah it weighs like 100 pounds because she ain't moving it where'd you get the shutters at whole farmhouse is that what are they 10-foot they're just different sizes like there's a whole nother that's what i meant that the back ones are probably yeah because this is eight right here yeah and they're probably nine or ten but the best thing is they have all the hardware on them so like this one's a broken one obviously here but there's a ton of great hardware on them my buddy does a lot with shutters always like these wood sculptures some old christmas ornaments good old mercury glass ones another one uh a bunch of wheaton bottles my kids always uh are they wheaton or are they taiwan i made in taiwan [Music] that's actually a good old bottle really good old bottle well gabby always sells those and this bottle right here is a good poison i wonder if there's any other miniature poisons or anything hidden are they all wheaton and sweetened glass well let's see what he wants on those two turtle's kind of fun i wonder if that's wood put that right here i don't think i want to get any of the jadeite yeah the turtle's kind of fun too his head broke off at one time but this carved good these are cool oh this griswold this is a 768 this is a 947 cake pan number nine it's kind of fun eerie pa well that's a good large label that was a two it would be some serious money i guess they got four but they have the whole set five oh small label six i know the bigger labels are better [Music] nice big seven seven oh one d i guess this would be an eight then awesome definitely [Music] some nice skillets i haven't seen this square one before [Music] i don't know if it's as good as the the large label ones still thinking about this picasso print too i think we have to get the griswold oh put that over there oops incense all right go clean that up this japanese pot is pretty cool this is new i wonder who made this nobody i know this almost looks like it should be linux not it's english nice little daisy pattern every once in a while he's got some really good plates though [Music] i don't know who this company is made out of baltimore postcards are actually pretty nice i have a bunch of postcards i have to show a paper or mousse so she can go through she always does a ton of paper actually some here's a decent photo post might be a bunch of that in here now that's what go for the most there's old photo postcards basically a penny snapshot but the photographer used to go through the town i guess and sell sell stuff at different ends this almost looks like another one that's kind of fun looks like it pulls out or something that has all the little photos it's definitely cute let's see what he wants on that too nope all right i've got my piles the griswold the ornaments and the bottles we'll see about the postcards what i grabbed i found the box of griswold that was right here all right um these are the marker yeah mercury glass bulbs and then this was up there the little bottles here yeah the wheat and bottles and stuff so any of those boxes 15 a box 15 christmas christmas and then 15 on that too all right so that would be 45 and what what do you want on that two and a quarter for everything all right yeah that's eight of them and you're selling this yeah i got this um about two weeks ago or no about a week ago so anyway it's probably from the 1950s it's one of those prints but it's cool uh like 50 bucks and you had postcards what did you want on the box postcards for the whole box but there's tons of them there's like 1000 postcards in there and they're all early a lot of local stuff a lot of pennsylvania stuff are you going to have all this out of oh i'll be out and everybody can come by the whole collection they can buy pieces everybody can come win um friday start coming friday friday morning it stops raining thursday night you can call me first and it's uh give them the address one more time dan 52 south bird is b-u-r-t-i-s in hamilton thursday afternoon if it stops raining you can call me at 609-306 uh dave here's some stamps hey my buddy there you go a lot of good stamps in here all right well i'm going to take the griswold and the and the bottles you got it uh trying to think of it once the whatever you got so thank you dude well i figured i would show you guys what we picked up i spread spritzing a little so the griswolds are all in the car um was happy with the like the teapots i think there's two three of them there's another one definitely uh better in uh christmas ornaments i always like these that have the windows but uh i wanted to go through this bag of bottles or the box of bottles for 15. i guess this one is that's a knock off wheaton but there is a few wheat in bottles that looks like it's from a collection but the only reason i say that has a nine written on it well i guess this one has a 12 and that has a 13 i guess she numbered all of her bottles here's a fun medicine one it has a crack but it's still a good early bottle more of those knock off wheaton miniatures new skin company i guess it's a green another old medicine bottle this has water in it this was that really good bottle that it definitely was dug kind of looks like a flask by this king royal this actually looks like it could be an older bottle definitely has the look and the color royal patton i'm trying to i don't see that one could be actually a really good one got two older ones see here's the knock off of that you see the bases are different this one has like a little puddle almost you never know what you'll find in the basement his sale uh is this friday if anybody wants to go it definitely will have a lot of treasures that need to be unpacked i always seem to find something there um but it is good to get a call when he's gonna have a sale if you here are definitely uh definitely pretty great all right it's starting to spit again so i'm gonna get out of here i haven't decided what i'm gonna do with the griswold yet but i know that they were uh there's one another little one in here i know that the bigger the larger labels are pretty good what was nice about those is doesn't look like they were ever really used much or they're just they were just seasoned right and put away give all these little bottles to gabby put put these two away she does like selling them at the flea market all right thanks again peace this one's kind of cool i
