Crazy day of Red Snapper Day 2, wasn’t expecting this!

all right guys we are back out here for day two of red snapper season and hopefully we'll have the same thing look as today as we did yesterday we're drop right on them but um you know just a little update I just kind of check out the boat I think there's no uh you know structural damage I think I didn't see any cracks or anything like that if you weren't following along from last video uh somebody hit us when we got back to the ramp uh and then you know they kind of took off and got stuck on The Sandbar luckily we got their information and stuff they were the you know they were friendly enough but uh uh it looks like it's just hopefully superficial we're probably gonna have it checked out but right now we're gonna chop up some blue Runners drop it down on these fish and hopefully get on some so we're just going to send out some more Blue Runner just like this and we're gonna go straight to the bottom see the slack let me throwing bottom just lift up a little bit and hang on okay there you go you know what you're doing all right and keep going keep going there you go there you go yeah there you go that's that's a good one I see that's just a grunt well hold on to him yeah all right you keep going pick up pick up from reel I told you he's gonna be big okay like all right come on yep all right all right we're gonna we're gonna pick up now reel down real real ones in the boat but uh you know is that as many as we'd hope but we're running short on time next year I'll run longer trips and I'll just I'll go and run one a day but uh we got on them and you guys have fun yes definitely that's right that's what it's all about so we'll get moving and I'll go cut these fish up all right guys trip number two today um I got uh Jack John is seeing with me and uh hopefully we're gonna get on them wish us luck we're gonna get back out there and see if we can't make something happen all right guys we're back out we got some more Blue Runner we're gonna drop him down fish finder rig and this is how we're doing it guys when you send him down don't just drop and let go like that um wait till the you want the weight and the the Allstate go to at the same time so you drop slowly just a little bit at a time like that otherwise the weight's gonna sink faster than the bait is and it's just gonna go tie up around your line okay so just a little bit of time to get to the bottom and then once you get a bottom close that Bale and just crank up a little bit just to keep it off the bottom here you go yeah it's probably just a little Grunts and stuff yeah you won't get picks like if a red snapper is going to get it you're gonna get a slam you wanna hear me the net it's not too big but hopefully it's the right color got the Rick gonna get the right color yeah I'm thinking he might be in an Alico maybe uh yeah I think an almaco no that's a red you can keep him and he's a little guy though baby little baby little baby red all right okay all right it's a little small there we go that's probably a king all right we got hooked up somebody come take this one actually what's the recording all right here because keep the pressure on it keep pressure on them because he hit that mid-water column too I only have him down about maybe 30 feet because I was just getting your stuff ready but if we can get him we'll get him Court yeah just keep playing Ring Around the Rosie and I would guess if I need to show me something yep hopefully we get to see something here soon yeah he's going around and like if it goes towards that motor man just put that line tip at the tip of the water and we're just learning all their wants to learn about fishing oh oh man I think he just got sharked he just got whatever he was yeah that's uh something different on there now yeah that's another one's not gonna end well man they just they may have just sharks have just may have moved in that may ruined our Snapper day you came back on him oh man what the heck's going ever on the same side of the boat I would just reel it up as fast as you can always drop it down in a minute when once we get this guy back in he's not big films but he's he's a fish and is he the right color yep yep right color it's wind yep a little better yeah I mean I'm I'm eager yeah keep that one up so you get the hook back but it probably tore him up so he's going to the Box I'm sorry and uh turned out to be a really good afternoon uh we can get one more fish because uh captain and crew can keep their winalot limit so I'll be able they can keep fish for me so all right guys good job good some good teamwork man there we go all right clean up yeah there we go this is gonna be it if we get them in if we can get them in yeah yeah that's a definitely I'll call that a red definitely the the higher up you get them the less they give up because they start to get a little bloated so once you get them up then they just start kind of circling a little bit yeah hopefully it doesn't get sharks we can call this trip a done deal yep there you go oh yeah there you go good job man good job buddy that's it now 2023 it's not the season so the one in the books yeah there's nobody out here is there look I'm gonna look around oh there's one more boat nobody out here yeah that one guy came and took the note here we go get him oh look at it oh it's almost gonna be sore today you got him this time you got him that time that's a that's a red snapper I'll put money yep really yep you got him you got him but it's his lucky day because he gets to go back you just better not be bigger than the ones you got right [Laughter] he's decent he's gonna be decent yeah a little bit smaller than the last one I got yeah but that initial hit is good yep here he comes that's a nice one and if he's bloated we'll have to send him back down to send your device and yep hopefully he'll swim back down yes I hear him off gassing so he's he might be okay there you go buddy lucky day yep swung back down okay guys so second trip we limit it out got a huge kingfish a couple other fish but uh you know we got a red snapper that we're looking for did you guys have a good time oh my
