yep all right we made it offshore best snapper season 2023. this guy hooked it up with some live Croakers and I'll see if we can put a good one in the boat stay tuned nice little Coker a little nose hook them drop them down wait a second here we go oh it came off I think he broke me off I don't know he just came off there's drop down another one about to drop another one down there came off I guess he wasn't hooked good it's a little choppy out here for my I'm only in the Key West 15 20. take it slow but we made it out here to the closest Reef it's freaking out so something's probably trying to get him came off again I don't know if he's not they're not eating them all the way or what some good bites though I'm gonna retire because you kind of frayed me up all right I retired that 60 pound leader this time just drop them down there again it's only 65 feet out here right now while we're out on the bottom see how long it takes we're gonna try to throw another cocoa down there I'm marking a lot more stuff on the sonar right now because there's a there's a little bit of wind and the current keeps sticking us over off of the rack so probably why we don't get bites until we drift back over it I think right now we're right on top you've been hooking fish but kind of been able to get them in the boat we definitely tore them up look at that drop them back down see if something wants to eat them let's check this one because oh I had a piece of cup bait out there and I got an eel try to unhook them without getting bit [Music] he's got some teeth on them too I'm not really trying to put up my hand in there there goes can't believe I lost my pliers come on eat them oh [Music] yep [Music] small one there you go there's one a little swamp but you might just keep just in case we don't hook any more got a limit of two so we got one more to go all right first one almost 20 18. all right finally got our first one in the boat almost get our second one and get out of here probably just go fishing Shore got a couple live Croakers left still you can use those at the end but hopefully this next one's big they're bigger [Music] had a sardine out there just free lining something ate it let's see what it is actually it's not no Remora I'm just gonna work them that hard because I don't have any leader on there steel leader I don't know what it is coming in pretty easy though pepper thank you oh I think this is a small Kingfish it's hard to tell because I know they can look like Spanish macros when they're small but let's see all right piece of Sardine look at that I think it's a kingfish definitely not a Spanish monkey it got to be I think 24 to the fourth we'll get a measurement on them but he might be a little too small fish gotta release them though oh that was a small kingfish put another piece of Sardine out there see if we can get a bigger one foreign got hit again see what we got oh he broke off [Music] okay must have been another king there you go he dropped it let's go I got something on the side [Music] come on but another keeper red snapper the Sardine almost 19 inches no pass both our slappers it's not the biggest but what we could do I'm gonna go home so yesterday was the last day of the season for red snapper um my friend Capital One and I kept one today we're gonna do it uh basically butterfly it and uh it's called sarandiado we're gonna throw it on the grill over the coals and cook it that way like like a barbecue I've only cut it a few times bear with me I might be a little slow and it might be a little sloppy but I'll try to get it done so you want to start like your your filleting if you're gonna fillet him come down come down you're filleting and then You're Gonna Wanna I got a little ax and a hammer because I knew I was gonna be able to get down to this hood and see if we can do this we don't break the glass let's split it on the cooler because I don't want to break the glass real quick all right we're getting there we still got to clean them out I couldn't clean them I've done I've done these with tilapia and stuff but obviously they're a lot a lot easier to clean so you kind of you split them in half and then you want to cut the bone right here see what I get on the on the cooler bone closer to the Head and then right at the end of the tail and then you basically wanna you're gonna find the bones to break them break them then you're gonna fillet it right down the bone and it's fine if you leave a little bit of meat because you're still gonna cook that over the fire lay that upside down just so that this me this me on this side can get cooked that's it butterflied it I'm gonna clean them up a little bit and then we'll show you how high we make the sauce all right we got the fish cut up I'm gonna show you guys what you need to make the sauce so first you're gonna need some salsa Magi you can I think you can get it anywhere we get it from the Mexican store uh some some worse you know you know what this is worcestershire sauce some mustard salsa which all mayonnaise sauce ground pepper ketchup garlic salt and some butter so and everything's not going to be like measured it's kind of all kind of like guesstimating kind of what you need how much you really need and basically the size of the fish so all right first we're going to start off with the ketchup and like I said it's all going to be depending on the size of your fish is what you want to make so I mean the fish isn't that big so we're just gonna pour some in here next up is going to be the mayonnaise and this is my my first uh catch and cook video so bear with me all right next up is going to be the the Magi sauce it's a little bit and The Works Worcestershire sauce I know everybody be I know everybody doesn't know how to say it well I was doing at least about the same amount some mustard and the salsa which all is uh it's a this is a hot sauce that we use um I guess it's just up to your liking to how spicy you want it garlic salt [Music] pepper a little bit of salt and I got about a spoon a spoon and a half of melted butter you just want to pour it in there and and mix it up that's going to be the sauce right there and you can taste it and then I mean if it needs anything you can kind of add whatever you whatever you think it needs Vanessa sauce we got the fish ready now we're gonna wait for the fire to go down and then we're going to throw them on the grill all right we're gonna add a little bit before we throw it on the grill just so it can start get us some flavor I can't wait to have this it's gonna be real good all right ready to go on the grill all right it's in there I'm gonna close it up all right let's get in there we're gonna add a little bit more of the dressing on there got a little stuff so we're just gonna add it right over there a little great thing [Music] [Music] I'd say that thing is pretty much done we're about to take it out all right now time to enjoy this crab and the
