cove took her first steps + at home mini photoshoots!

[Music] hello guys and welcome to today's vlog we are starting up the vlog a little bit late in the day i think it's like 3 15 or 3 30. it's been a busy day so far we've had just like lots of random work stuff to get done i just did a little try on haul for my story for luke and gray we just got these pants in and they're up on the site now and they are so freaking cute comfy so that is what i'm wearing today with this top also from luca and gray i think we still have this in stock i know we had it in a few colors but it's one of my favorites it's kind of like a bra top yeah that's my ootd i don't know if you guys can hear the wind it is so windy today yesterday and this past week it was literally like 90 degrees like almost too hot to go outside and then we have some weird like wind storm happening my mom lives like 45 minutes north and i think it's a little bit worse there because they actually don't have any power and they haven't had it all day and one of our lucan grey employees who lives up there but in like a little bit of a different spot said that her power people said her power wasn't supposed to come back on until like 11 p.m tomorrow i don't know but i don't think we talked about this on the vlog our power actually went out the other day one of our neighbors i guess i was like on the neighborhood facebook group like trying to figure out what happened and see if anybody was talking about it but our power went out at like 8 p.m and didn't come back on until i think it was like 4 00 a.m and one of our neighbors put metal in the microwave to try and heat up her food and it literally blew like the power box or whatever for the entire neighborhood for that many hours so it was kind of crazy but it even though that was at night it freaking sucks to not have power so hopefully my mom gets power back soon and everybody else who doesn't have it anyways that's the update on my mom's life if anybody's wondering i need to clean up my room i finally filmed a main channel video today i did it trying on cheap swimsuits so i have that pile over there we're working on getting a vlog finished up and sent in it is so freaking windy it's also freezing what temperature is it outside it's like 45 degrees outside oh my gosh yesterday it was like 91. so it's crazy we have all of our like cushions and stuff brought in from our outdoor furniture i usually like to take cove outside at least like once a day to go play but today we are not doing that and i'm not ready for the winter so i have been trying to just enjoy the heat and i think this little like cold front thing that's happening is only supposed to last a few days and then it's supposed to get warm again so i don't really know what's going on yeah today's a busy work day check off vlogging parker's gonna clear off the crap counter right now which is this pile of stuff that we always have somehow all the crap just adds up there and we actually have a little basket to put it all in so it's a little nicer than it used to be but it is just a disaster i also have that check that we need to do deposit did you paint everything no but i went and i had to like fill some of the stuff with plaster you know like wall filler yeah something else on the to-do list was to go there's like a few paint chips around the house or it's mostly like wood chips from i don't even know what did you do all of them though because that one doesn't have anything on it there's probably like six or seven spots this week i also maybe not this week because it's really busy but we said we were going to do this a while ago but getting rid of the wood chips in the backyard yeah because they're such a pain they look like crap they get all over luma all over our house and now cove likes to go play with them and put them in her mouth which i'm sure even if we had rocks you're trying to put them in her mouth but i don't know i'm just really really over the wood chips i also want to make flash cards for cove with people's faces on them that she knows like me parker grandparents lauren luma yeah and then we can like hold them up i know let me show you guys the picture that my grandma and grandpa sent me they're so cute just like of themselves i asked her for they did yeah my grandpa my grandma i think i put some other ones on my computer that i already had of like my mom and us but i want to do that and then get them laminated and then we can like show her and be like pointing to them and like the names and she can learn all that so i think i'm gonna do that right now while she's napping and then we can figure out where to get them laminated maddy can do that she is on her way back from ikea right now so we can do a little mini ikea haul i don't know what she got i forgot what i told her to get but i think she only got a couple things so i'm gonna do that parker's gonna work on the paint touch-ups cleaning the crap counter and depositing my check all right something else i also want to show you guys this cup that i got i showed it on instagram and i had a ton of questions about it i also have it in white i saw melana see siati post these on her instagram story so i swiped up and i bought a bunch of them i got the 20 ounce ones which i feel like are a little bit small so i actually just ordered the 24 ounce one so they're a little bit taller but they have like 40 different colors and they're just like so cute and i love them so i'm gonna refill my water and then do all that stuff that i just said [Music] all right so here is what we got from ikea if you remember in the last vlog aspen said that she wanted to change out this table with this little sensory table from ikea so this is it i need to put it together and then i'm going to put it right there i don't know where we're going to put that for now i think we might just keep them both in here i don't know but for now i'm getting this put together [Music] that's it it's done it's got these little parts that have the bins underneath they sit on top makes an actual table it's about the exact same height as that table so it's perfect you got your crazy hair oh good morning oh i see baby you got me a pineapple head hold on you should get your snack you just wake up crackers oh can you just have one first there you go these are kobe's favorite to snack on in the afternoon this is the blueberry and purple carrot one she also likes the orange box i think it's like sweet potato and banana it comes with two little crackers you got it in your nose usually when she wakes up from her afternoon nap she's been having this as a snack huh drink some water instead of milk huh i also just took her ponytail out to redo it and the elastic broke so we got cuckoo hair should we see if we can get some of your steps on camera will you walk okay come on come here come on oh you big girl oh good job oh you're all done is that all can you stand up tell me to help you where are you going okay now the kobe's had a snack i am going to attempt to take her picture with this one balloon that is like from three weeks ago when she turned one what oh you're walking come here oh my come on you can do it you can do it you can do it you can do it oh my gosh this is [Music] good job good job oh wow she's like going so much usually she'll like walk for a second if we like stand her up and be like okay walk to me like she doesn't really just get up herself and start walking good job anyways as you guys know lauren always gets me balloons like number balloons for like my birthday or when cole like turned one month old and now she is one year old so i've been meaning to try and take this picture but cove just obviously is a one-year-old and does not really sit still for photos anymore so i have this balloon that i want to get a picture of her with it and i also have balloons that say 10 for my 10 year youtube anniversary that i also have been meaning to get a picture with even though that was also like two weeks ago i think i'm gonna take this upstairs and try to get a picture of her in her playroom with it so we're gonna see how that goes just got way dark in here but coke just found her new toys for the week so she's super excited to play with all her new ones you want to go upstairs though come on let's go upstairs okay i'll wait till she's done playing let's go oh you are just tubbed in the snow it's just the best feeling ever i don't know why i just love to be able to you know get out and be freezing cold and then get back in and be warm i don't know what it is but hot sports do you plan to teach co get cove into are you gonna teach her to snowboard honestly she's gonna play every single sport possible soccer gymnastics dance cheer you know softball i'm definitely gonna teach her to snowboard at a very very young age every time i go snowboarding there are like the tiniest little kids that have to be under three years old that just fly down the mountain and every time i saw them i was always thinking that's gonna be my kid i'm definitely gonna teach her to snowboard try and get her to skateboard ride bikes just every possible sport she can think of and then if she doesn't like the sport and doesn't want to do it anymore that's fine whatever sports she wants to do she'll play but i'm going to get her in every single sport possible so that she can test them all and see how she likes them all and yeah so basically the answer is you name it i'm gonna have her playing it basketball that's another one that i love and she's gonna be playing
