- I want you to think of an object. You're thinking maybe of any object. Okay. It's not a tennis ball. I know it's not a tennis ball. One. Two. Three. (suspenseful music) Is a, were you thinking of
a diamond by any chance? - Yes. I was.
- Wow. How the heck did that work? What's up? Welcome back. Hope you guys enjoy that little snippet from performing magic to people on Omegle. This is a weird website
where random people encounter each other in video chat. Me and my buddy Wes decided to
be cool to come up with some original magic we could
perform to people on Omegle. Here's the catch. I don't wanna edit that video. I wasn't aware that Omegle
was a dark seedy, disgusting, and frankly impure
platform where people... I don't wanna get into it. Fair to say that we did
get some good reactions and there's surely a good
video in there somewhere. But in post production, I
have to sit through dozens of, well, (suspenseful music) I wanna expose you to
that kind of, you know, physical harm. (mud splashes) (man screaming) That's the only reason
I've been hesitating to edit this video, but tell you what, if this
video gets 43,000 likes, I will post that video. And only if, otherwise no candy. Let me know. I feel like I shouldn't
even have, whatever. (whistles) No camera man today so this is all me. I'm just gonna (whistles) For my reactions I'll
be like, what the hell? I'm having too much fun here. That's definitely not gonna make the edit. Good job Chris. Way to alienate your new viewers. They're for sure gonna subscribe now. Great job. Please stay. Let's have a look at
the comment of the week. (splash) It is by D V. (bright music) Bro. What are all those tattoos on
your hands? They look filthy. (objects clattering) (water running) Nope, never doing that again. Okay. (upbeat music) Ladies and gentlemen, today, we're taking a
look at who has become, no cap, my favorite magician. It's not David Blaine, Copperfield, Chris Angel, Wes Barker. Not even sure why I added
him in that category, but there you go. Check out Wes' channel. You're welcome Wes. Now, we're taking a look at a magician by the name of Jeki Yoo. (exclaims) Jeki Yoo. this man has single-handedly
rekindled my love for, especially, online magic. He's entertaining. He's funny. He's fooling. He's creative. He's original. I can't say enough good things about him. Definitely check them out. I'll let his video speak for themselves. How about that? Hat forwards or hat backwards,
you think for this video? Comment below. I'll wait. Backwards. Small disclaimer. I feel like this, what I'm going to say next
has such importance on what you're about to see that
it's worth sticking through. No editing or camera tricks
were used during his videos. He mentions that several
times in his captions, it's something I wanna address
because most of my audience, now, when I started, most of my audience
was, were all magicians. Now, most of my audience are uninitiated. So let me initiate you
formally, right here right now. It would not only be
shameful, it would be harmful, and it would be a complete embarrassment to the art of magic itself if video editing were
used for the most part. And I say for the most part, because there are people like Zach King. He mainly uses video editing. But for the most part, magicians are always trying
to show you on video, what it is they can create in real life. And that's always torn the audience 50-50, because here's the reason. At your very fingertips, you have all of the world's information. And as much as it's a blessing, it's also a curse, because
with that information comes an unwavering view of the world. When an intelligent person
such as yourself watching this, views anything online, if your mind cannot explain it, there is only one thing
left to do, and that is to dismiss it entirely and
blame it on video editing. In some cases, maybe that's true. Not in this case. Bear that in mind. Now I'm not saying that this man or any other magician is smarter than you, I'm just saying that you,
are not aware of everything. And if you were, then
magicians like myself and Jeki and everybody else
would be out of the job, I'm okay saying, I don't know. The world would be a better
place, if a lot of us just said, I don't know. Rant over. All right. So this first
video we're going to check out is the very first video that I saw and this one completely baffled me. In fact, I've watched it so many times. Still, I can't for the
life of me, figure it out! Have a look. - Watch! Lemme show you Japanese Rope Trick. See. Here's a one piece of rope and I make the knot in the middle. Now it looks like a circle, right? But watch here. (blows air) Now the circle comes out. See? Oh my! (giggles) - Oh my! (giggles) Feel free to rewind. Go watch it again. I'm not gonna watch again. I've seen it. I've seen it a million
times. You can go ahead. I'm going to move on. The rest of us are going to move on and watch something else. Feel free to stick around
and then just keep rewinding that last part. Totally up to you. Oh my! - Pocky! See? It's my favorite biscuit pocky. Watch here. If I tap this, (tongue clicks) chocolate comes out. Goes back inside and comes out. Oh my! Actually I have two.
- Oh my! - If I tap this. Watch.
(Jeki whooshes air) - Ah! - It's changing. ( Jeki blowing air) Oh my! - Beautifully done. - Watch!
(coins rattling) I have a four coins in my hand. But watch here. Two gone! (metal clicking) (Jeki claps) Oh my! (Jeki chuckles) - Again! - Watch!
(coins rattling) I have a four coins in my hand. But watch here. - One. Two. - Two gone! - Three. (metal clicking) (Jeki claps) Oh my! (Jeki chuckles) - Oh my! There's a reason he does this, you know. Here's why. I'll break it down for you. Real simple, real quick. He knows, that we know, that he knows, that we think, he's
throwing it on his lap. He knows that we know that
he thinks that we know. So what does he do? What does Jeki do, you ask? Well, Jeki uses a glass table. There's an old magicians'
proverb that says, "Magic is the willing
suspension of disbelief." But there's another magicians' proverb that Teller from the famous
duo, Penn and Teller says, "Magic is the unwilling
suspension of disbelief." When there is no explanation, so you have nothing left to
do, but suspend your disbelief, unwillingly. - Watch! Lemme show you an unique card box. See? (springs swishing) Here's nothing. It looks like nothing inside. But watch here. (blows air) If I blow on it, (cards tap) See? The dart comes out.
(card box clunks) The beautiful dart.
(cards swishing) Oh my!
- Okay. - I'm gonna show you one simple trick. I put the ball here and watch. One, two, three. See? The ball changed to yellow dot. The secret is toy gun. (springs swish)
(both chuckle) - This is so good - Cover the board and punch it. That's it. Oh my! - There's something so
great about that because the method that he's showing is just as silly as the
presentation, as his character. - Maths test! Three plus two plus four plus one. And the total is, 10! - Wow. - Oh my! Watch! I have a four cards in my hand. And if I put the cards
one by one, like this (fingers snapping)
- Wow. - See, it change to mini cards. - The mini cards. - Mini card. - It's not the mini card. Watch here. One, two, three, four.
(fingers snapping) It's gone! You wanna know the secret? - It's in your hand! - The secret is, I have a hole in my hand. Hole! Let me show you. See, here's hole. So I can put the cards here inside. And yesterday I put a coin here. Watch! - Ah! - Oh my! - Jeki, lemme tell you something. There is a fine line you're
walking right now, sir. A fine line between amazement,
amusement, bewilderment, astonishment, and annoyance,
frustration and anger. And you sir, you've walked in a fine line. Moving on. - Watch! I'm in the park today with my dog. Oh my! (Jeki laughing) - No video editing was used.
- But I forgot my lunch box. Oh my! But I have a black hole. - It's written right there. - Watch here. If I put my hand into
the hole, like this, see? Here's a coke comes out. Oh my! Okay. Let's do it again. If I put my hand into the hole, see? Oh my, this is burger. (laughs) Watch! I'm in the park t... - Oh my, this is burger. No video editing was used. Now it's circumstances like this, which makes me believe otherwise. My mind, that's the only
place it's got left to go because I don't know the method. So instinctively, I say, well, screens. Got the camera around. There's like a two camera, but I can tell you there
isn't and I trust this man. Wow. - Watch! Here's a small mat, nothing here. And I have a four cards in my hand. One, two, three, four. Right? Before starting, I place one card right here on this table. So now I have one, two, three. Right? The snap. (fingers snap) One, two. (fingers snap) One card left. See? (suspenseful music) - What?
- You see. Where did they go? Huh, watch here. Here's the one, two, three, four. But the difference is, it got smaller. You see. - Ah, you hit me with
the mini cards again! - Oh my! Watch!
- Watch! - This is more fun air and nothing inside. And I have, one, two, three,
four cards in my hand. But if I put the cards
right here, (blows card) - And now,
- Wow! - one card magically changed to mini card. See? Mini card. Oh my! Okay, let's see it again. Now I have a one, two,
three cars in my hand. But watch. See? Now I have only two cards left. One, two. But watch here. - Where are they going?
- One, two. See? One card left. And this is the last one. I grab the card. And one, two, three. See? All four cards
change into, mini cards. Oh my! - Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to commemorate and remember Chris's mind. (soft, suspenseful music) Chris's brain was something
special and spectacular. And unfortunately he is
now just a puddle of goo on the floor and will be missed greatly. That was pretty good. It's okay. It's pretty good. - Watch! Here's an empty tube
and three paper balls. I put the balls inside the tube and blow on it. The balls completely disappear. Oh my! The secret, is the vacuum cleaner. Ah. All you need is some duct tape, place the vacuum cleaner
right outside of the camera. - Oh wow! - Before starting, push
the button using your foot. Now put the balls inside tube (Chris laughing) and after bring the tube
near the vacuum cleaner. - That's so great. - That's how I make balls disappear. Oh my! - That's so... Just the silliness of his naked foot, just hitting the vacuum by himself. I can imagine him doing this. Of course, we know something was going on because it was off camera. But what a great explanation
and what a great way to show you guys a little bit of what he's doing behind the scenes to achieve these effects. He's using perspective,
a force perspective. Actually Buster Keaton, this guy, (bright, suspenseful music) One of my great inspirations
for filmmaking once said that, "If the camera can't
see it, it doesn't exist." And that's exactly what's happening here. He's using that principle. And that's totally fair. And that's not a camera trick. It's just not on camera. Well this again.
- Watch! Nothing here, but if I put my hand into the hole,
- How does that even work? ball comes out and you can put it back, it's gone.
- I don't... - The amazing thing is that,
if I put my hand like this, the ball comes out and
it goes back inside . See? (chuckles) Watch here. It's crazy. - I know something's going on
and he's good at it. I just... - But lemme show you something more crazy. Here's a cube and a frame, you see? Nothing here. But watch, cards come out. But actually, this is not a frame. If I remove this cube.
- Stop! - See? This is an amorphic illusion. Oh my! See? It's not a frame. (suspenseful music) Oh my! - He just keeps like, this is my brain and this
is his magic, just... (boxes pillow) Felt really good. Okay. Moving on. - Watch! I change these
to one dollar bill. See? Watch here. (coin rolling) Here's one and two. (coin rolling) Oh my! - Wow. - Is this one dollar bill? - There's something so
beautiful about that because spinning a coin, just beautiful and quite magical in its own
right, the physics of it. Naturally as a magician, my mind goes to, well, if I wanted to change a coin, you can't really see
it while it's spinning. So maybe I'll change the size, the color, the denomination of the coin, but to add another coin to that and still retain that spinning
effect is really clever. And so that's just something
I really appreciate, when I see things like this. - Watch! I have four aces in my hand
and it's all pulled back. And if I put the cards
one by one, like this. See? The card magically
changed to red card and also it changed king. - Wow!
- Oh my! See. Four kings! And if I put the cards like this (fingers snapping) It's gone.
- He's so good. - And where is king? (suspenseful music) I'm here. (Chris laughs) - I'm here. That's a great payoff right there. That reveal at the end
made that whole video so much more entertaining. If there's anything you could take from my entire video
today, just as a magician, just remember, you can create your own
online persona, right? You can film yourself a billion times before you upload something. You can get the perfect angle and refilm it as many times as you'd like, just to get it perfect. And that's something you
can't do in real life. So take this time if you're
sat at home quarantining or you know, not going
outside and being social to create something
that can be appreciated through an online medium,
much like this guy. He's exploring it to its furthest points. And I appreciate that. - Watch! This is glass cup. And inside this cup, there's
a yellow ball, and two, oh my! Two! (chuckles) And I grab the balls one by one like this. And I make them pass through this table. I always quite difficult
because this is glass table, but there's easy method. Watch here. First, you need to make
them smaller, like a powder. See? It's crazy. (laughs) - What? - That's it? See? (hands clap) Oh my! - How is the sand just suspended
like that under the table. You understand what
I'm saying? Physically? Like, I mean, physics talking here. This effect could have been achieved, if the cups were opaque, if
you couldn't see through that. He knew that, and knew that
it would be twice as fooling if they weren't. And also the table is
made a glass and frankly, yeah, it's really good. I mean, it's all right. - This is my math book. See? Oh, that's tape. The interesting is that
if I put this inside. Oh my! See? They are somehow connected like this. (Jeki chuckles)
(objects cluttering) - Oh that's table watch. Here's my tape. The interesting is that, it's a tincase. - What? So much going on there. He, it's almost like he knows. It's not almost like he knows. He knows exactly where your eyes are going and where the misdirection
is, even on camera. He's able to misdirect
you, which is really great. Oh, that's an interesting setup. (soft music) (Jeki blows air) - Wow.
- Oh (chuckles) (suspenseful music) (Jeki blows air) - Wow! (hands clap) - Oh. - That's so good. A few things I like about
this particular illusion is (a) What am I looking at? Right? You're looking like, what
am I seeing right here? This looks abstract. It looks bizarre. It's captivated my attention. And are they mirrors? Are they pictures? Are they simple frames?
Why are they in this order? And then he proceeds to
do these magical things in around it using, and I say this very aware, he's using the angles
of the frame and string and everything else in there
to create this illusion. So, yeah, really well thought out. - Watch! This is called Mystery Frame. I made this yesterday. Ah, see? Is nothing inside. Nothing. Right? But watch here. If I put my hand in this way. See? (hand claps) Pull my hand like this, - Wow!
- one card comes out. See? Nothing.
- That's so clean. But watch here. Oh my gosh! See? Second one. And watch here (ooing and laughing) Crazy! And now this is last part. Watch! I cover this, like this and snap my finger. See? - No! Stop! (phone pings) - But actually there's nothing. See? Nothing inside. Ah! - Oh my! - One day, my friend asked me, can you show me one simple trick? At the time I had 10 cards in my hand. 10 cards!
- Follow along here. And I made them disappear
one by one like this. Yeah. (fingers snapping) (Jeki laughs) Yeah, after watching
this, he was quite shock. And then he asked me, oh, that's cool. But can you show me your left hand? And I say, yes. Why not? - Wow. (Jeki laughs) Can you imagine. Put yourself in this
predicament right now? You're at a bar. You see this guy, he's making everyone laugh. He's performing these things. Now, you've had a couple of drinks and maybe you're not in a great mood. And then you're trying to talk to someone, but this person's just distracted by this amazing magician over here. And you're kind of getting like,
you know, fed up with this. So you walk over and you're like, oh yeah, well what's in your left hand? Imagine! Oh, I'm having goosebumps. Imagine, he pulls this out just
as you asked that question. Imagine the room exploding
and this man disintegrating, before your very eyes, melting
into the floor being like, please, don't ever,
please don't look for me. Goodbye, cruel world. That's what I would like
to imagine happened. I can watch this guy's
videos all day, by the way, if you couldn't tell by now. One more. This one's got a cool thumbnail. Let's look at this one. - Here are two rings in my hand. Two rings. Watch here. One, two, three. Oh.
- Wow. See. The two rings connected into one. And lemme show you once again. One, two, three. Separated.
- Wow! - And connected and separate again. - He's very good. - I know, my hand is
fast, but wait a minute. Have you seen my ring? Oh my gosh! (chuckles) See? My ring is connected
here and you missed it. If you watch here. One, two, three. See? They're connected. The interesting is that. One. Two. One, two, three, like that! Oh my gosh! (Chris laughs) Huh, here's my glasses.
- Oh God! He's such a goof. - See? My glasses is connected here and the ring and my ring
is connected into one. Let's go back to the beginning. (chuckles) One, two, three. (fingers snap) - My ring comes out.
- Wow! The ring comes out, and this is the last part. It's difficult part. But I'm magician Jeki Yoo. (both chuckle) And this is for the Cover Photo. (papers blow) Here are two rings. - Wow! Unbelievable! Not gonna lie, you had
me in the first half. Well played, sir. Well played. All right. Again, I'm probably gonna sit
through all these videos, whether or not they're on
camera, probably at home, by myself, eating a fat bowl of chips, crying myself to sleep. wondering how it was that
I failed to magic community after all these years. That just got super dark. Okay. Not insecure about that at all. For real though. He is an incredible inspiration to me. I hope he's inspired
some of you out there. And if not, at the very least, I hope that this whole video served as some form of entertainment for you while you're sat at home. Do check out his page, left it below. I know by now, if you're
not following him, you probably wanna download
Instagram and follow him. Be the only person you're following, it would be much worth it. Thank you so much to everybody
who watched this video. Don't forget to like and
consider subscribing, if you haven't already. We'd love to have you. And we'll see you guys on the next video. Peace, right? (bright music)
