I don't buy it. If it was an ordinary ring, he would have done it with one of their rings. It would be more impressive and shouldn't make a difference to him... I think his sleight of hand is when he switches out the normal ring for his trick ring.
The two rings are show in his hand here: https://youtu.be/x_Lm7cvA4Vw?t=165 - the shot from behind him, just as he is about to place it on Teller's finger. Two rings between thumb and pointer.
Everybody in here is talking about 2 rings and whatnot. I wanna know about when he took his finger off his hand. How the fuck??? He showed the back of his hand!
The trick is cool, but what the hell is that vest coat butcher apron smock he is wearing?
The ultimate trick here is him lying about the ring.
Most likely a combination of a regular ring and two halves. Just really good sleight of hand. The ring he gives to Teller to inspect is the actual ring, but it's switched out for the two halves when he places the ring over his finger. Notice his thumb and index finger never the two sides of the ring when it's on Teller's finger.
Here is the moment before he places the ring on Teller's finger: https://imgur.com/KfoGR0G You can see the gap under his thumb and the back section isn't aligned very well with the front section. Then more sleight of hand when he gives the real ring back to Teller after the two halves are hidden behind the fingers in his left hand.

I found the first swap. Not sure how it was done, but there βtis.
