Could Raihan Actually Become Champion?

could right hand actually become champion of the gala region he seemed to do really well in the finals and is acknowledged by champion leon as his only true rival so if the protagonist wasn't there to stop him in his tracks would he have actually won against leon of course being able to defeat the champion alone isn't enough to become champion otherwise bead would have snagged that title with little effort to get a true feel of how worthy right hand is of the champions title i decided to see if he'd be able to handle the entire galler gym challenge from start to finish just like the rest of us so i started a new game in pokemon sword this time and played through it as right hand and as with previous runs i only added pokemon to my team as soon as they were available manage my move sets to match those of the characters in-game team and allowed myself one use of the best potion available per battle we'll treat the ratladon as rihanna's starter and get right into it by catching a little rogan rogen little rock and rolla from gallermine and beginning our challenge with milo's grass gym where i let durabledon take the lead since little rocky is very much under leveled i gotta say of all the runs i've done this has been the one where i pitied milo the most his dynamaxx though the gauze did two damage to me using its signature move and the effects of his attack ended up healing me with three hp so in reality he ended up doing negative one damage to my duraladon no wonder he seemed kind of salty when he got matched against reihan in the finals something else i wanted to do with right hand that i didn't do in previous runs is pay special attention to the double battles in this game the first one being against the interview crew right after you get your first badge there wasn't much of a team synergy going on between little rocky and ramadan but what i've learned from this battle is that the raulodon is not a slow bulky pokemon instead it's got a pretty good speed stat then to write home about but nothing to write off either especially for a story run and a laughably low special defense something to keep in mind but not to worry about until later the nice thing about having a high physical defense stat is that i could finally have something on my team that can tank out nasa's aracuda and dreadnought i'll take this w while i can since it looks like most people voted for a score bunny leon run i'll be seeing a couple hundred times next round nessa since i can't take a selfie with nessa i guess i'll just take one with her father and brother those are her father and brother right we're going to take a quick detour in gallermine 2 to pick up a tm for santoom and teach it the little rocky i forgot how cute little rock and roll are from there we're off to fight kabu it pains me to admit but my first try didn't go so well in order to have sandstream as an ability later little rocky is stuck with weak armor meaning it can't bulk its way through kabu's arcanine not only that but to add insult to injury kabu decides to smokescreen stall me while maidu rauldon dies to fire so that's how we're gonna play it huh bulldog review to assume i won't come back with some vengeance this time and actually match your team's level i set up sand tomb stealth rock and then finished off nintendos with a rock blast i knew arcanine wouldn't do much damage on the first turn so i set up another stand tomb healed up and having gained enough speed to go first took it out with a rock blast leaving kabu with his santa scorch which lost 50 percent of its health thanks to my stealth rocks alone sadly rock blast only hit 4 times instead of the 5 which would have been enough to ko the long bug but at this point i could easily one shot it with duralodon take that kabu from there i went right into right hand's backyard route 6 where the double team will be complete with trepinch and city cobra as well as a torque over later given the desert view of this route it's no wonder right hand's double team focuses around sandstorm specifically and with our team complete it's time to face off against b who i haven't battled in forever since all my runs weren't shield and oh boy did i underestimate how strong she is on a scale of juan tonessa she was just as difficult to defeat as the water type leader during the hop and beatty runs her fighting types made easy work of my rock ground and steel type team the baby pokemon weren't gonna cut it either so i had to evolve both baldor and true pinch with gigalith i set up stealth rock right from the start any extra damage better than no extra damage am i right gigalift goes down and i go for a dig on silly cobra to let the sandstorm take care of hitmontop i paralyzed pangoro which was busy buffing itself up thinking i can get some extra trip damage out of this sandstorm no this thing knows bullet punch her surf edged obliterates vibrava leaving just durabledon against two fighting types as in i lost a lot but then i realized rihanna's flygon is supposed to know thunderpunch but since fabrava can't learn thunder punch because it doesn't have arms maybe you can use that free slot for something else maybe that's something else could be a very conveniently free tm that you could get from the cab driver and stow inside and maybe just maybe that dm would also happen to be super effective against fighting types and maybe that move has an accuracy of 95 which means i'll miss twice in a row i'm just gonna go on record here and say that right hand would have definitely lost a b so sword right hand couldn't become champion he might however stand the shot against shy guy what was his name again alistair alright so here's how right hand can win against b's gym but bravo used fly where bravo used fly pangoro drags out the rattledown with circle throw meaning it's time to dynamax and use max steelspike to stack up our defenses even more drop a healing item for good measure before taking out surface then facing off against way big forearms from from benten doraldon goes for a breaking swipe its signature move of sorts that also happens to lower the enemy's attack stat b starts setting up her max g strike but it might be a little too late to do so in my previous attempts she would stack triple max cheese strike giving her machamp 100 crit rate so she would easily finish me off in all honesty she played herself with that circle throw and i got lucky that my dynomax mod got pulled out instead of silicobra otherwise i wouldn't have been able to tank out her attacks and win the gym badge but look or not a win is a win and a silly culver is a santa conda at level 36. we had ourselves a quick double battle on road to ferrytown where i could finally experience the full power of ryhan's double battle sandstorm gym team it was technically another one of route 6 but the team was still in his baby form anyways i was a bit concerned going into the fairy type gym with a dragon team then i realized right hand's only dragon dragon that's weak to fairy types is the bravo assuming right hand would use his phone to google bing or whatever the heck the search engine of choices for gala region i started stacking on those quiz stat boosts on gigalith as it made its way through oppo's team sadly throwing rocks at her cake wasn't as effective as cramer and spitting a pikachu on it i figured i'd try sprinkling out some more sand on it and with the power of earth her all cream became no cream having gotten the fifth badge i decided it's time to ditch the sandstorm team and start building the single steam that right hand actually uses during the finals for one i knew that gigaloth and santa condo could easily defeat melanie and pierce don't worry i still gave those two plenty of love since getting the right move sets for the rest of the team was going to require me doing a whole lot of raids i already got a torque so that's going to be my next team member except the torco ryan has isn't a wild one you see it knows the move yawn which it can only learn by breeding with one of three partners whooper hippopotas or dunsparce as much as i think right hand would take a liking to woopers because they're cool beans or hippodons because of sandstorms i think he most likely caught and used the dunspars and not because it's one of my favorite pokemon or anything like that and i just wanted an excuse to catch one more in the game but because right hand's team is more reptilian than dragon based he has turtle snakes and whatever giggle it is waddles is this a reptile i'll take that as a yes and out of the possible three parents then sparse is the most reptilian so congratulations you are the father before going to the sir chester gym i had to follow tradition and do the double battle on road 8. i will admit this was a bit harder than the others but torco did a good job of sweeping the enemy team also remember how i was talking about melanie earlier yeah i forgot that this is sword and it's actually gordy this time torko took out both barnacle boy and chuckle man she even knocked down a small bit of stonehenge sadly it couldn't tank the colossal damage from a gigamax gigamax from a giganomax pokemon but bravo lived long enough to stall the dynamaxx and our newly souped up duralodon finished off the battle with ease after getting the sixth badge we also get to access the water bike which means it's time to hunt down the last two party members turdinator and gumi both of which appear in the lake of outrage as random encounters with two percent spawn rate in sunny and rainy weather respectively for either sword or shield i had a noob moment i managed to not catch this pooponator after wasting all my pokeballs including all the specialty ones and then i realized just how much i messed up since odds are that if i ran into another one it would have been above level 50 and the game would just not let me catch it so instead of wasting until the time i traded over a goomy from shield but just like storcold this gumi had an egg move this time from one very specific pokemon melodic this meant that i had to go back to that lake near magnolia's lab and try to fish for a one percent spawn rate fee bass just like the terminator i ran into one of my first try except i had plenty of balls this time i was very curious how this one would go since right hand and pierce were very much talking about having a one-on-one battle without dynamaxx and in my case rihan's team had two less party members torqueholt took out his crafty with two body presses i had to heal it since it took quite a bit of damage from malamar but that meant i could also take it out with a lava plume i made a bad call thinking he'd use obstruct with obstagoon so i went for a yawn sadly torko couldn't take too many throat chops but it did manage to put the enemy to sleep i sent out the rattle down next since it also knew body press leaving pierce with just his skunk tank which wasn't too much trouble for deraldon i guess reihan only needs two pokemon to win a no dynamics battle against piers although i might have to do a pierce one to find out for sure with a seventh badge in hand i finally catch a terminator and level up the gumi to be battle ready and if you're curious yes right hand's single team can win against right hand's double team even though it came down to who had the biggest bite between flygon and santa conda this means it's time for the semi-finals or as i like to call it can right hand win against the other rivals considering torko knows body press and has a ridiculously high defense stat i had a super easy time winning against both marnie and hop beat was a different story torko easily burned away his malwale but couldn't do much against cardevoir flygon managed to tank one deserting gleam thank goodness and take out rapidash but all three of my non-steel dragons lost to hatterine good thing the rolodon has super effective steel type moves from there you know the drill nessa not as strong as before neither is b but best dragonfly god happened to come in to win both of the fights if right hand ended up fighting rose which why the heck didn't he he would have taken down most of his team with just the two fire types torko and turdinator and when those two failed he still would have had flygon to show rose who's boss probably could have got eternities too being a dragon tamer and all i ended up having to use the fastball that i got from doing the bottom rally or whatever it's called for 20 minutes since i wasted all the other specialty balls on that one third inator alright rival vs rival the strongest gym leader versus the unbeatable champion take a guess who would win the game claimed that right hand was the one trainer who was able to knock out the most pokemon on leon's team torko takes out edge slash with a lava plume terminator manages to take out haxeras after it's hit itself in confusion next up is goudre who doesn't have any dragon type moves why why duralodon has to carry the rest of the fight except since i picked score bunny as my starter leon has intelion and mr rhyme meaning i am not gonna have a good dime so the answer is four right hand could have knocked out at most four of leon's pokemon i know in part i doofed by picking score bunny but it also seems to be that leon has the better dragons both dragopold and haxorus would outspeed right hand's dragons and leave the raul don to try and chip off the rest of leon's team the point being i couldn't even get to the part where my gmax duralodon would face off against leon's charizard okay i pulled it off once and charizard melted my poor doralodon's face off something tells me that leon's team composition is a little too stacked against ryhan's team specifically maybe after the battle at the start of the game leon took note and changed his team up a bit to make a better matchup against his rival or after losing to eternitis making a team specifically able to handle a strong dragon either way there's no way that reihan could have won against leon's team but since i came all the way out here i figured there must be something that the in-game character doesn't use and there was melodic that all starts out the same way torko takes down aegislash with lava plume and gets taken out by haxorus but this time i go straight for my ace mylotic is able to one shot hacksaws with a blizzard tanks a thunderball from dragopold and then one shots it with a blizzard as well mr rhyme is troublesome but i managed to burn it what's called however this smooth criminal knows freeze dry flygon swoops in with a crunch and remembers how to use thunder punch sadly it still goes under luckily for me gujar knows thunder leon's signature charizard comes out a sand storm it's belts and before knocking me out spits air from its net to boost its speed what's that all about okay no more rhymes because it's time for the grand finale leon acts dumb and doesn't use his signature fire type move meaning that duraldon can finish off the fight with a max rockfall and that that is how righthand leon's only recognized rival could have won and become champion sadly in-game right hand wouldn't be able to achieve this feat since both b bead and leon would have given him quite a lot of trouble i'm still curious about whether or not leon changed his team specifically so he could outpower right hand and or eternitis so i hope you click that subscribe button because you know who i'm
