I followed this case and watched the entire trial on Court TV, he had THE WORST defense attorney I could ever imagine. There was enough reasonable doubt, even a half assed attorney could have done a better job. I can’t decide whether he’s guilty or not, I don’t think he is and I feel sorry for this man if he didn’t do it.
Ehhh...I'm not convinced that he really deserves a life sentence.
Not denying that he had a clear motive, but motive does not make him guilty. I think there is plenty of 'reasonable doubt' here.
Casey Anthony walks free but this guy gets life? Something's not right.
Yeh I’m not buying this whole murder rap deal- I think sure that “could “ be a possibility but alas considering ALL EVIDENCE it’s unlikely... the area was very small and tight and the downward trajectory without evidence of defensive marks upon the torso arms legs side ( think slashed and gashed) is the first clue... no castoff and considering the force needed to remove the rake and thrust it back into the victim is great nonetheless it should account for more than a small amount of gravitational pooling... she’s going to be fighting for her life so trajectory would more likely be at an angle then downward especially if husband is taller and at a distance which would be necessary considering the space confines- I think what really happened was she went to retrieve the carrier- couldn’t reach it- either bc she was dizzy or bc it was bulky and wouldn’t fit she opted against a ladder or step stool and instead decided she would bring it down to her rather then climb up to it.. a corn rake is a perfect tool for such a task.. center of gravity be damned but shit is what it is - she went for it lost her balance dropped the rake just before falling back herself and upon it again different trajectories bc different injuries- she’s impaled but can’t get out for help- first she’s going to get upon her knees and then inserting her fingers underneath the rake to remove it gets friction injuries not defensive wounds.. but there’s the force of gravitational pull again and once thrust outward she again falls backwards and again upon it impaling her again finally she rolls to her stomach to alleviate pressure and maybe make another removal attempt in a way that wouldn’t injury her further whereupon she succumbed ... look at the pictures there’s nothing like that rake kept there it’s outta place
My husband made a good point. Why didn’t this guy just feed his wife to the pigs? I’m not convinced the guy did it. Maybe she had another lover who had a jealous wife and killed her.
On first viewing, I think he did do it.
With that being said there's plenty of reasonable doubt there and not a whole lot of evidence. Don't even get me started on the whole "go to hell cheating whore" 😂😂
Point being I can't see how there was an unanimously guilty verdict.
I wondered too if his son did it, or he THOUGHT his son did it and decided that no matter what he’d protect his son. It looks like he has filed an appeal for ineffective counsel.
