Cop Encounters: Mythical Crew

was weird uh almost made myself cry I can make myself cry laughs I want to punch myself when I make that noise won't you punch me oh he flinched he flinched it the thought I didn't even move let's talk to people about the police and run-ins uh we're gonna go mythical more um you know with with such a mythical crew we're just bound to have some people with some some some silly run-ins with with law enforcement usually I don't know what these stories are but I'm told the silly is more on on your part than on the enforcement part but what let's discover it welcome to the show Casey now we'll say Nimr I will say Khan is your last name water water I will say we do have we that wasn't yeah it's one of those things that as you were asking you were saying Casey what commit him you knew that you were gonna say John and not know his last name hey it's alright if there was money involved we've gotten really used to it it doesn't matter if you were paying me I remember your lies yeah now you would I will say we have one crew member who has built my life arrested and spending time spend some time in jail uh but we're not bringing them out so there is one I mean actually prison it was a key was in jail it was prison it was a federal corrections facility one of our crew members but you're gonna have to just do background checks using website to figure that out ask Jesus ask Jeeves John your run-in with the law um alright so in high school two important facts about me I was a total science nerd and a jock these are relevant Wow um you're hitting on all cylinders ya know all too silly so I played soccer in high school and I was heading to team dinner and I was street racing when my friends you know what in a Honda cr-v duh oh don't street race kids not know or adults with nitro I wish but no really just like my old inherited car that couldn't make the turn that I wanted so I hit a wall you couldn't Nimr quite like I can never the why didn't never well I did shave the corner you shaved the wall remembered the wall so I got in a car accident and then my parents very cool with it was fine but you get a ticket when you get in a car accident you didn't get hurt I didn't get hurt nobody else was involved but it was still not a good idea it was yeah it was fine um no it wasn't fine was a mistake it was you should know no one got injured though which is the big point right um then that summer I went to Hawaii to study marine biology and while I was there I missed my court date because I didn't even think about it yeah so my mom called me I was like um when you get back we're going to take you to jail what she was like yeah no it's gonna be fine but you missed your court date and they think you're trying to flee the country they're very confused because I went to Hawaii which is part of the United States still do so and then I had to like explain to them that I was on a science trip for school and science not actually trying to flee the country whether cheerios involved or what are they call the stuff that meth is mistaking for SpaghettiOs with their Cheerios involved yeah all right well this is like cereal but no the brain um so then they were like okay it's fine we get it you can reset your court date then that was for the my first day of my junior year in high school so I missed it so I had another warrant out for my arrest and I had to go again and be like my bad school they're like really you can only use this excuse so many times like school can't be that important but it was fine I showed up and like a long white skirt and a pink button-up shirt and like braided pigtails all right look is innocent no possible you have a picture of this yeah my mom took one and I deleted it and I was like I'm so sorry like really I'm like I'll toss it I need to pay a fine and everything worked out okay but yeah I had like two warrants for my arrest before was 17 for being nerdy and going to school don't miss your court date next time when is it now well we resolved it okay guys it's not still hanging out there yeah I just can't go back to go don't use us as Lee's okay but you're in the clear now yeah everything's good we didn't do a thorough background check on you we did on so many some people who we have we have suspicions about we do but because I wore the long skirt in the pain we weren't pretty for your interview with Heldman filming that we went through he's clean though him John believe in me I believe in my Queens jewels yeah garden those jewels um so I was in college good old college rambunctious right actually awake awake this is sort of filling in that mafia whatever that game is where was where we love playing werewolves on the wicked so I was my freshness my freshman year UT at you to University of Texas and I was in the Longhorn marching band so that floated the drum I was allowed a trumpet 0:03 Valles is all you need rivalz in a couple slides yeah that's a trombone well it's a trumpet you got like incredible seats to all the games yeah we got yes my freshman year got to go the national championship but this was in jeopardy because of this story oh okay bring it back so don't bring it well I'm just just saying oh wow here we go prove it that's my daughter don't put your mouth oh yeah yeah put your mouth on I just did I gave it to you a pleasure so you just gonna do a scale yeah I'll just do a scale place it play something funky play your song your UT it's been a while let's bill what haha it's rusty too all right yeah hey you're about it whoo casings all right bein that all the tables okay John we'll see so what some people don't know is that within Longhorn band I'm sure a lot of other college college bands have this there's universities within so you got like fraternities sororities and there's also a few few unofficial organizations non-sanctioned not recognized by the University no like smart anxious yeah under the table and I was gonna I was a pledging for one of those non-sanctioned organizations so you know whenever you're in an organization the cult can't say as we keep that up - yes it did involve SpaghettiOs skull and bones huh um so basically you do they make you do a bunch of silly things to get into your organization be part of the crew and one of the last things that they wanted us to do was go on to go into the DKR Memorial Stadium go on the 50-yard line and take a picture on the on the logo of the Longhorn logo which normally wouldn't be a problem doing what of us just taking a picture like Jill I guess the wrap on it I'm not saying that we don't want to do that you know you would do that it like a.m. that's where you dig that rally yes we would have done that there did you know you know rivalries in college yeah yeah so we that would have been totally fine because you know we're always practiced on the fields but they want us to do it at night with the lights around so they wanted us to bring in stadium so it's the night before induction night right oh man we got to get this going we got to do this so a big robust letter which are pledging about 20 of us go out the stadium at 1:00 in the morning like most middle of the night stories do and none of us really want to go in so we basically like two people we nominate two people to go in I want to say their names so we'll say Lewis and Clark they were like our explorers to go inside the stadium so Lewis and Clark go in and to kind of get credit for them taking a picture well where we're going to go in basically to see if we could get in there was that they were scouting it out okay got it so they were going in and as we're just kind of waiting a bike by and sees justice list yeah they really are yeah so they just see us just standing around and doesn't say anything so I can this is not good the two guys lose car come out of the gate and doing sweetie tell us there's no way like we couldn't we can find a way in and as they're doing it that by cop to other bike cops police car come in lights the whole shebang come in and make us sit on the curb they separate Lewis and Clark and start asking those guys questions and they're like alright what's going on come to find out Clark wasn't the best guy to nominate so unfortunate Lewis did a great job but Clark in his bag they're asking the questions in his bag he had spray-paint in his bag so it looked like we were getting ready to tag the place or a graffiti but we were actually using the spray paint from earlier for like another one of those activities that we had to do like tag - tag ins yeah like tagging a wall well we were like tagging cups like to the library we were sure we were we were not doing anything illegal so they asked the guy questions like why do spray paint in your bag is like yeah he doesn't he doesn't want to like out anybody so he says uh I'm in an art class and the cops like okay well what who's your professor ah no answer oh what's your unique number I don't know and so the cops like if you lied to me like you know you're gonna have to take you in so finally he just says I'm part of the Longhorn band so that right there got all of us in trouble because he bassist said my affiliation with the band is why I tried to break into your stadium which wasn't true which wasn't true no this is non-sanctioned thing you know this was at unorganized so basically work out to athletic department that flight department lets us use their facilities I thought apartment got mad at the band directors and we all got suspended from Longhorn band what per Mille well for like four games and I and then I got to get and then our pal like how you still good at it I can still play it but solely I'm like four or five games we got suspended the first game I missed was oh you versus Texas which is like the huge Red River Rivalry yeah and so that was you know it's suck because you know freshmen yes when you make all your friends and like you can't be hanging out so what lesson did you learn um don't nominate Clark yeah I guess and listen I'd say if you're gonna do something like that you have to talk ahead of time about what the story is if we get caught yeah that's all you got to do you got to have the at you got to have the B story prepared mm-hmm don't listen don't take that advice don't use them just write it down on index cards and give it to everybody now you can index cards or printing criminais ting you got a if you guess not if there consists of stupid people in the group get them out of the group you don't want it because they're gonna get called in he's the kind of guy you have a lot of fun with but you'll get in trouble with yeah he's like that guy right mythical beast use your best judgment stay out of trouble guys you
