good morning everybody this is the day that the lord hath made we will rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it because god is good and god is worthy to be praised god bless you all this morning and uh i believe that the best is yet to come in the name of the lord jesus christ and hey man it's a good day it's a it's a great thursday it's a great morning and uh i send blessings out to you today i say you're blessed going in and blessed going out uh i just believe that uh you know god is real and he is awesome and he is worthy to be praised every day and every day it's worth it to me to get up in the morning and to set my thermostat the thermostat of my life towards god believing god blessing him all day long and really walking in a one-on-one personal relationship with him and that that that's really what christianity is all about it's it's it's about him and uh i'm so glad that i uh have arrived to that point where i understand it's it's about him it's always been about him i think it's sometimes it just takes us a little time to come to that place of understanding that uh you know once you have a relationship with god everything at least for my life is like everything falls into place because of that personal relationship you have with god so we love you guys thank you for joining me wednesday nights we are talking about we're setting up a understanding series and last night we talked about water baptism in it amazing that you know when you think you understand something all your life and just sit and listen to the basics of it you always get something out of it and you realize wow and i understand that as i wear my wedding ring so that people will know that i am no longer on the market i also experience baptism and let people let the devil know and let sin know i'm no longer on the on the market i belong to jesus and so thank you guys for just just so supportive and so amazing and um you know we send blessings to you guys we send blessings to rod and chester again nigeria is in the house new jersey atlanta is in the house see my folks showing up in georgia this morning what is it praise god i love it and uh we send blessings to you guys and uh all is well all is well all is well see if you're right in the middle of something the greatest thing you can declare is that all is well if you're right in the middle of of a rough time the greatest thing you can rehearse is all is well um man i'm telling you it's it's all is well it's just something when you contradict the trouble with the blessing i don't believe i have said that like that before you contradict the trouble with the blessing that comes out of your mouth so if you're facing the trouble and troubles trying to convince you that you're in trouble it's when you open your mouth up and you release the word of the living god in spite of what you might be in and i believe with all of my heart that's what brings you up and out of those situations in your life amen praise the lord well let's go ahead and establish ourselves this morning in psalms 91 and then we're gonna we're gonna plead the blood of jesus on some things we're going to release the blood we overcome the enemy by the the the the word of our testimony we overcome the enemy by the the blood of the lamb amen and so and then i'll teach you one more aspect we're gonna rightly divide the new testament this morning that's something different and uh so you might want to hit the share button and we're gonna we're gonna show you some scriptures there this morning that will bless you so let's get into it if you are ready ladies and gentlemen let's do it i declare that i will dwell in the shelter of the most high god i declare that i will find rest in the shadow of the almighty i declare that god is my refuge and my fortress i declare that you are my god in whom i trust and with great confidence and whom i will rely i declare that god will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every disease i declare that i am covered and protected by his outstretched arms i declare that god's faithful promises are my armor and my protection i declare that i will not be afraid of the terrors of the night nor of the arrows that fly in the day i declare that i will not dread any disease that stalks in the darkness or any disaster that strikes at midday i declare that because god is my refuge and the almighty god of my home no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling i declare that god has ordered his angels to guard defend and protect me and my house i declare that god's armies of heaven will keep me from falling i will walk unharmed and kick anything that is evil from my path i declare that because of god's love for me i will call upon him he will set me above all my troubles he will deliver me from all my fears and he will honor me with his presence and his power i declare that he will reward me with a long life and he will show me his salvation i declare that today i am psalms 91 equipped thank you lord in jesus name amen come on let's plead the blood of jesus repeat after me father i thank you that through the blood of jesus i now have the peace that passes all understanding guarding my heart and my mind i declare that i have peace wholeness and completeness nothing missing and nothing broken in my life in any in every area of my life i plead the blood in jesus name father i thank you for sending jesus to live inside of me and i thank you that i now abide in him because of the blood i declare that christ the anointed one lives inside of me and that anointing removes every burden and destroys every yoke in my life and the lives of those that i touch i plead the blood of jesus praise god amen come on father i am so grateful that you were willing to pay the ultimate price for me the blood of your only son so that i could belong to you forever i declare that i am forever yours and that nothing can snatch me out of your hands and i plead the blood of jesus father i thank you that because of the blood of jesus it is just as if i had never sinned i declare that you are my defender and that i no longer need to spend my time defending myself against accusations i am unaccusable because of the blood i am forever yours and nothing can snatch me out of your hands i plead the blood of jesus father i thank you that i have right standing with you as my father because of the blood of jesus i declare that because i am righteous because i am the righteousness of god in christ jesus i no longer have to work to be right and do everything right i acknowledge that i already am made right by the blood and therefore i plead the blood of jesus father i am so thankful that the blood of jesus guarantees that sin no longer separates me from fellowship with you i can walk hand in hand with you and talk with you face to face i plead the blood of jesus father i am thankful for the abundant blessings that come into my life through the blood of jesus i declare that i am blessed coming in bless going out that your blessings are chasing me down and overtaking me in every area of my life and in this i plead the blood of jesus father i thank you that i am redeemed from the curse by the blood of jesus i declare that i am redeemed from sickness and disease poverty and lack problems in my relationships and failure in my career i am redeemed and over this i plead the blood of jesus father i am so thankful that the blood of jesus has brought me back into close intimate fellowship with you i commit to taking advantage of the opportunity that i have to freely fellowship with you and spend time in your presence and over this i plead the blood of jesus father i thank you that because of the blood of jesus the devil no longer has power over me his schemes can no longer be effective in my life i declare that i will walk in power and authority and give the devil no place in my life i plead the blood of jesus heavenly father i thank you that the blood of jesus gives me access into the inner chamber i agree that i am no longer an outsider but i've been brought into the inner circle of fellowship with you by the blood i take authority over thoughts of inferiority and i enter into your presence with confidence to fellowship with you intimately and freely and over this i plead the blood of jesus father i thank you that through the blood of jesus i have the ability to walk free from sin and to live a life that is pleasing to you i declare that i lay down my own agenda and i choose to live according to the plan and purpose that you have for my life and in that i plead the blood of jesus man this is awesome in it father thank you for the boldness that comes to me through the blood of jesus i declare that i am as bold as a lion i share the good news of the gospel with boldness and confidence and i am an effective witness for your kingdom and i plead the blood of jesus father i am so thankful that the blood of jesus saves me from judgment and makes your mercy available to me i commit to taking thoughts captive that lie and tell me that you're mad at me or out to get me and i purpose to walk in your mercy and loving kindness all the days of my life and in this i plead the blood of jesus father i am free from the law and the old covenant and i have entered into a new covenant with you through the blood of jesus i thank you that the new covenant is a better covenant with better promises i declare that i no longer live under the law but that i am a partaker of the blessing of this covenant and i plead the blood of jesus father i put my confidence in the blood of jesus to purify me to purify me from doubt unbelief and unholiness i declare that i worship you from a sincere heart and a pure faith holding nothing back from you and i plead this in the name of jesus and everybody said amen amen okay really quick if you have matthew chapter 19 in your bible it's important that you see this today matthew chapter 19 verse 16 and 17 and then at the same time if you'll pull up acts 16 verse 30 through 31. now i want to bring up something we talked about and this is how do i rightly divide you know matthew mark luke and john from you know the rest of the bible well a couple of things i want you to realize the new testament did not begin from matthew but it began after christ rose from the dead hebrews 9 16 tells you that you know without the death of the testator then you can't get what the testament is or the will is so the cross changed everything the cross of jesus is the defining line of the whole message of the new testament now here's the key the new covenant did not begin until after christ rose from the dead so in matthew mark luke and john what do you have you have the gospel or the good news of jesus and jesus in matthew mark luke and john uh it's the story of of of jesus you see if you read matthew mark luke and john you see jesus fulfilling all of the law you see jesus as a prophet under the old covenant as long as jesus was alive the old covenant was still valid and the new covenant had not yet began think about it now as long as jesus was alive the the old covenant was still valid which means that he had to keep all the law in order to be right because that's what it required nobody else could keep all the law but jesus did so while we see jesus walking on the earth the old covenant was still valid the new covenant had not yet started doesn't start until he is raised from the dead now so what did you do with matthew mark luke and john well you have to be uh cautious and aware of when jesus says certain things because he is operating as a prophet under the old covenant and then at the same time through prophetic words he begins to prophesy and talk some things about the new covenant that will come after he's raised from the dead so if you just kind of read matthew mark luke and john and you don't divide the fact that jesus is operating as a prophet under the old covenant and while he is still alive the old covenant is still valid which means he's got to keep it verses when he begins to prophesy about the coming of the new covenant which did not happen until until he was raised from the dead and so you you can plainly see how you can get really mixed up if you don't understand just that when you start reading matthew mark luke and john now i want to just give an example today and tomorrow i'll give another one but if you look at matthew chapter 19 and 16. matthew chapter 19 and 16 he says and uh behold one came and said unto him good master what good thing shall i do what good thing shall i do that i may have eternal life so basically he's like all right so what do i need to do in order to what be saved or have eternal life or go to heaven verse 17 and he said unto him why call is thou me good there is none good but god uh that is god but if thou will enter into life so he gives a little prophecy right there like man one day you know if you just believe in god that's what's gonna gonna take place but then he says all right if thou if thou if thou if thou there it is again if thou is a clue that we're under uh the pattern of the old covenant the pattern of the old covenant is if you or if thou then god will the pattern of the old covenant is if you or if thou then god will and so right here he says he says if thou which the first clue is like if when you see if thou or if you if you see uh you got to do this then you'll get that then you know you're under the pattern of the old covenant so he says if thou will enter into life he says here's what you've got to do keep the commandments if thou will enter into life here's what you got to do keep the commandments now that's what jesus was doing before he went to the cross that's what jesus said if you want to be saved if you want to enter into eternal life uh then you've got to do this in order to get that all right now unfortunately a lot of people saying the same thing today but is that the same answer uh after he rose from the dead well let's go look at a similar question uh in the book of acts chapter 16. and verse 30 and 31. so here's paul and silas in jail you know the story the jail opened because of an earthquake and then the jailer asked this question verse three and and he brought them out and he said sirs here's the question what must i do to be saved so it's a similar question to what the rich young ruler asks what i need to do to have eternal life what do i need to do to be saved now are we going to get the same answer that jesus gave the rich young ruler while he was walking on the earth or did it change after he rose from the dead verse 31 and they said here's the answer believe on the lord jesus christ and thou shalt be saved well before the cross the answer was keep the commandments after the cross it was believe on the lord jesus christ something changed before the cross keep the commandments after the cross believe on the lord jesus christ he says and you shall be saved and your house if they believe shall be saved so notice after the cross uh after the cross uh and see some of you still you're so stuck on the tradition of the old covenant and ten commandments you're not hearing what i'm saying all of that was true before jesus died on the cross but you got to pick up what happened after he died on the cross or you're still going to be operating in the old way of doing things now the ten commandments is the moral law of god and god's gonna use a new administrator to bring the moral law together he's gonna use the holy spirit under the old covenant he used rules and regulations some of you are so hungry about rules and regulations you're never going to get it you might as well log off because you you're not even listening you're not even here what i'm saying you're still stuck in the tradition of living under the old covenant when jesus died so you could live under the new covenant so what you're doing is you're trying to keep all of the commandments because that was the requirement before jesus went to the cross but after the cross jesus was saying if you will believe me then i am gonna start working in you i'm gonna give you the holy ghost the holy ghost is gonna change you from the inside out he's gonna give you desires to do uh what uh what you hadn't had a desire to do he says but you keep trying to work it out with your own effort but i'm trying to show you you need me i'm trying to show you you need me and you can't you keep trying to say i don't need jesus i can do it myself you ain't kept the ten commandments yet you're sitting up there hollering about and i'll keep the the ten commandments you ain't kept them see i can understand see there's 613 commandments see if you're talking about keeping the commandments you gotta keep all of them but let's let's just go with the ten you ain't keeping the ten you ain't keeping all you ain't keeping the ten and you hollering by keeping the ten commandments you ain't keeping them why because you can't do this by yourself you can't be moral by yourself see you're thinking like jesus said in matthew we'll read it later jesus says you know you keep talking about it says thou shalt not commit murder and jesus says but i say unto you if you hate your brother you've already committed murder see you you're not understanding that you know jesus lifted it up another level he said you say you know thou shall not commit adultery and jesus says but i tell you if you look at somebody with lust in your eyes you've already committed adultery see you have violated them in so many different ways and all jesus was saying is while you think you can do this without me i keep trying to tell you you can't do this without me you need a savior you need a savior jesus is your savior see this is what i'm saying so many people are playing religion because you don't have a relationship with god you're playing religion and you're so quick to open your mouth and holler stuff that you have heard out of tradition for such a long time that you're not understanding that god did not give you the law or or the ten commandments uh to bless you he gave you the law and the ten commandments to to show you you can't do it by yourself and you still walk around here with your pretty little self like you can do it well i keep all ten commandments well what what about when you mean and nasty to that servant at the restaurant what about when you snap on people because you have a bad day what about when you know you know to do good but you don't do it what about whatever's done not of faith is sin and you're doing things not of faith you need a savior and so god is saying he that believes on me he says they shall be saved you're not saved of works the bible says you were saved by faith through grace not of works lest any man would boast if you get up and say well i'm saved because i kept the ten commandments that's what works you've got to understand that god did not give the law to to bless you he gave the law to knock you down and to bust you up until you could lift your head up finally and say okay okay i surrender i need a savior i need jesus and when you get to that point then you understand the difference every time you hear the commandments you think about the ten commandments but you don't think about the commandments that comes in the new covenant the commandment of the new covenant is to love it's the commandment of love the commandment somebody says well under grace do you have commandments yeah you have the perfect law of liberty you have the law of love but when you're walking in the law of love love is the fulfillment of the commandments and so jesus is breaking it down and say if if you can learn how to believe me i'm gonna give you the holy spirit he's gonna pour the love of god on the inside of you and when you walk in love you won't kill because you love you won't steal because you love you won't covet because you love and so love encompasses all of the things and the law of the new testament the commandment of the new testament is love and within love you will fulfill everything that the 10 says but you over there trying to keep rules instead of believing jesus you're over there trying to keep rules instead of establishing a relationship with jesus and the difference is the ten commandments was trying to be obtained people tried to obtain the ten commandments through rule keeping 603 rules to try to do ten commandments and over in the new covenant it is you know what i'll make sure that the ten commandments are fulfilled through the administration of the holy spirit through the administration of the holy spirit so basically he's saying the way you're going to do it in the new testament is having a relationship with god but religious people don't believe that religious people just spurt out things that they have understood traditionally and bless god i believe this way all this time and ain't gonna change well i'm telling you you're living by the wrong covenant you're living by the wrong covenant then the covenant that you should be living by is the covenant that jesus died for i mean what is it saying what is it saying when jesus died so you can have a new covenant and you like forget that i'm gonna keep living the same way what is it saying when jesus dies so you can have a new and living way and you keep doing it the same way and if you look at your life you still ain't getting there if you look in the booth in the back in the corner of the doctor your life your life is a mess while you're going to church and shouting hallelujah and all that kind of stuff because you're fooling yourself you need a savior you need jesus your self-performance has gotten you nowhere but continuing to fail and fall and feel condemned and all that other stuff let go of that tradition he says my people uh they don't understand that they've allowed their tradition to make the word of god of no effect well what does that mean your traditional understanding about living by the law has made the word of god of no effect by living by the new testament so amen uh i got excited but praise the lord and i know what i know i believe what i believe because i've i i was there for years and i was i was just one day i recognized this is not working what's going on and god asked me will you become a student of grace and uh i say yeah i'm gonna become a student of grace and you're right people are being run out of the church because of all this law based christianity you're condemning people you're ready to kill them and all that kind of stuff and and you're hating people and you're and it's law based it's like the apostle paul knew it the apostle paul was law base and then he got he saw jesus one day and he let all that go and he says man this is the way to do this thing so uh i got kind of excited and my time is all gone i love you guys man i love you i love you remember you saw the difference there what do i need to have do at eternal life he says keep the commandments that was before the cross that was why jesus was walking on the earth uh lord show me what i need to be to do to be saved believe believe in the lord jesus christ and thou shalt be saved amen well god bless you have an amazing day
