I you haven't changed at all you really don't remember me no I'm John John no we we went to school together John McMillan I I'm sorry I think you got the wrong Johnny from school John I again like I don't think Johnny John yeah and John McMillan um Emma are you sure I know yeah I've gone through so many notebooks just trying to draw your face well when I was a kid and I couldn't draw and I still can't draw but anyway the point is that I'm quite sure they I don't know the wrong person Emma I I knew a couple of Jones back at school but I don't think you're either of them sorry that's because we were only in third and fourth grade together my dad got transferred a lot and he was moved around from town to town because of his work he worked in the railroad right yeah Johan uh yeah of course third and fourth grade oh come on you have no idea who I am I'm sorry I I feel pretty bad that I don't remember you I'm sorry it's okay don't worry I was like chunkier back then and um my mom dressed me better you've done well you were one of the smart girls in class I was an average girl an average student not true so let me guess you must be a lawyer I'm an engineer actually a civil engineer wow wow so an engineer of roads and bridges and canals impressive so what do you do me that you can't see I'm an engineer too I'm an engineer of um the street and park benches and in the best case scenario uh shelter engineer um I'm sorry um I don't know what to say you know you still have that same laugh that you had when you were little do you mind if I um if I move over if I sit there uh no go ahead okay do you remember that day in school that we um we played that voice game no oh come on you really have have to remember sorry I don't remember okay so it was this game that um we all had to keep everybody in the class had to keep their eyes really closed tight like this right and the teacher went around to everybody and touched them on the shoulder and when it was their turn they had to say a letter like um AB b c XYZ whatever right and um and the rest of the class we had to keep our eyes closed we couldn't open them and we had to guess who spoke and say out loud the name of the person well there was this this one turn for this kid it was actually it was a girl and um and she couldn't say even one letter she just kept laughing out of control out of control and I knew that it was this one girl whose vein appeared on her forehead oh yeah the vein yeah same laugh yeah you don't remember I'm probably the person with the worst memory in the world no I'm sorry that day it wasn't hard for me to guess that it was you and I called out Emma and um I was really funny I'm sure and I um I remembered that laugh of yours all these years I see I've arrived late what the ring oh yeah I got married last year H and you didn't invite me to the wedding it's a joke right funny it's funny oh I'm getting off the next one oh okay yeah yeah and I get off um at the park there's a few of us who get together every night and um to spend the night did you go to relatives or friends my parents died and and all my friends had kids and you know I'm really not the ideal guest and if I were them I wouldn't want me sleeping on their sofa either yeah but it gets pretty cold at night it's okay I'm used to it now I got all these blankets you know and a Nordic quilt that uh this woman was about to throw but I caught her just in time fortunately and and now it's mine but um it's temporary well I'd offer you my place but it's quite small and my husband's there oh no no no no no no no can you imagine if I walk in through the front door with you and and me being this guy who's so masculine and handsome he'd get jealous of course mascul yeah um this is my this is my stop so I yeah right sorry yeah yeah uh listen John I would like you to have this yeah no no I wouldn't even think of it John please take I'm going to put it here that's embarrassing here keep it you know if I remember correctly you were always stubborn yeah oh this should cover a couple of nights at the hotel the hotel I'm I'm sure would cover a week at a hostel and and and with my own bathroom you know last night I shaved in the bus station happy to help thank you it was really nice to see you again John that's not true you don't remember me Emma hi you haven't changed at all you really don't remember [Music] [Music] me there is no way my heart can take all of this another day [Music] but I'm tired of being an emotional Mo I just want to see him and every time I try to break away after some mistake I've made he grabs a hold of me and I want to shout gather around my door and hear the tale how I was cured by a good man by a good man gather around my door and the T of how I was cured by a good man by a good man oh by [Music] good
