how many are thankful for the angel of the lord of this house the the leaders of this great august body can somebody help me thank god for two of the choices leaders in the kingdom pastor tony and casey stewart i love you and you know it amazing what god is doing here is special i used to preach in a lot of places i don't preach in so many places anymore because i don't have time to waste and if i'm not assigned to the place i don't go there i used to preach because i had a sermon now i preach because i'm on an assignment [Applause] you say what's the difference if you've been preaching any amount of time at all you know the difference between going somewhere to preach and going somewhere because you're sent there and the relationship god has blessed us to have with this house is so special and anytime your pastor calls me whatever i'm doing i just drop it to get here because this is significant what the lord is doing in this house is significant especially in the kind of jacked up nation we're living in [Applause] we need this and so christopher and i are honored to be here and i just came to jump in the river with you i really am thankful to be alive because when you feel like you can't breathe somebody said why is he hollering because i hadn't been able to in a while [Applause] y'all better get ready for it for the next 45 minutes i came to holland my head is on fire right now i run around this building i run down to city hall amen i want you to go with me tonight to the book of ruth can we thank god for all these psalmists and singers and musicians come on tell them you love them stay standing with me i'm gonna let you sit down in a minute but the word deserves my undivided attention we love you lord he's been so kind to us thank you lord thank you lord can you just slip those hands up with your bible i know you got your bible in your hand but can you just slip those hands up and tell them thank you anybody got a reason to be thankful i just heard the lord a moment ago he reminded me of this revelation he gave me a long time ago he said to me kevin remind this house that thanksgiving sustains the blessing chris is over there playing the piano he'll tell you that you could hit a note and just bounce it and it'll the note will stop but if you put your foot on that sustained pedal and hold it out that's that's what thanksgiving does for your blessing it just come on tomorrow morning when you wake up if you'll give him thanks he'll let you drink from this well again on tuesday when you're walking through hell in high water at work if you'll just reach up and tell him thank you he'll let you drink from this well again how many are thankful for all of the goodness of god come on [Applause] hallelujah i want to go tonight to the book of ruth the fourth chapter [Music] and i want to tell you that i'm just going to preach to you where i am right now if there's ever been a time we need a rhema word and i'm standing down there walking around praying in the holy ghost lord i have no clue how you want me to put all this together tonight but i know what you're saying so rather than give you a cute sermon i'm gonna tell you what i feel like he's saying and i'm living here because personally it happened to me personally it happened to my house personally it's happening in my church corporately it's it's needed i believe in the in the nation yeah even the world we need a breakthrough i don't know if you know this or not but cute church ain't cutting it right now and i'm only telling you that because because i'm watching my people they they're moving into a place where they want to hear the voice of god and they need the spirit of god and it takes moments like this where there's not the pressure and we can just say god i need to throw some stuff down and put some stuff on and i believe in tonight breakthroughs coming for some people in this room ruth chapter four this is this is a message i'm just gonna tell you you can go back and watch it i'm not gonna lie i have nothing to hide i preached at sunday in my church i preached it at ruach a couple of weeks ago i want to go to ruth chapter 4 verse 11 and i want to preach tonight a message called house of breakthroughs at your neighbor tell your neighbor say neighbor god's gonna make your house a house of breakthroughs fourth chapter of ruth the 11th verse when you got it say jesus is my king i said that because my king will not be elected next week my king has already been born king [Applause] [Music] and i'ma love everybody i don't care who you vote for y'all my brothers and sisters in christ and this mess is about to get over so we can get back to kingdom business i had to get that off my chest ruth chapter 4 verse 11 and all the people who were at the gate and the elders said we are witnesses the lord make the woman who is coming to your house like rachel and leah the two who built the house of israel and may you prosper in ephrathah and be famous in bethlehem look at verse 12 this is such a obscure passage but i want you to underline this in your bible may your house be like the house of perez say house of peres whom tame our bore to judah because of the offspring which the lord will give you from this young woman so boaz verse 13 took ruth and she became his wife and when he went into her the lord gave her conception and she bore a son then the women said to naomi blessed be the lord who has not left you this day without a close relative and may his name be famous in israel and may he be to you a restorer look at here a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age for your daughter-in-law who loves you who is better to you than seven sons has borne him then naomi took the child and laid him on her bosom and she became a nurse to him also the neighbor women gave him a name saying there is a son born to naomi and they called his name obed he is the father of jesse who is the father of david now this is the genealogy of perez perez begot hezron hezron begot rama rama begot aminadab aminadab begot nation i ought to get an offering just off pronouncing these right for real this is amazing come on here forget that i practiced all day it's still good nasham begot salman solomon begot bo has boazby got opened obed begot jesse and jesse begot david and i want you to look back at the 12th verse of ruth the fourth chapter may your house may your house be like the house of perez lord i stand in need of your leading tonight someone in this place needs a breakthrough you are the lord of the breakthrough now turn houses into houses of breakthrough may the spirit of god quicken the word to our hearts tonight i thank you for this beautiful family of believers before we leave take us into heavenly places and i pray the quickening power of the holy spirit be upon the preached word of god in jesus name and everyone said a man who can be seated in the presence of the lord the book of ruth the book of ruth many of you who study the bible will find and discover that scholars didn't exactly know where to put ruth in the bible in terms of its location because of the nature and the content of the book of ruth it did not fit certain criteria wasn't necessarily a prophecy so you couldn't put it in the prophets it wasn't just uh wisdom literature so you could not put it among the wisdom writings ruth is a book of the bible that is unique to itself it is a narrative a story of a young lady whose name is the namesake of the book it doesn't start with her it starts with her mother-in-law naomi her husband ahimalik these two are bethamites they live in judah and they serve the lord but the bible says in the first chapter of ruth that there was a famine in bethlehem and this is significant because bethlehem itself means house of bread and in the house of bread there was no bread and when there is no bread in the house of bread people who were depending on the bread in the house of bread are forced to make decisions to survive so the bible says that naomi and ahimalek moved with their two sons namely chilean and milan they packed up their home and they moved to moab now as you read the story of naomi and ahimalek moving to moab you will first think man this is really bad because these are israelite people bethlehemites who who who love god and they love yahweh and yet they find himself in a pressure cooker because there is no food in bethlehem and they are driven to dire circumstances and must make dire decisions and and one thing that i found out about living with the lord is that sometimes we preach a god who keeps us and exempts us from pressure but i want you to know tonight that sometimes god is moving in your life even in the midst of pressure god is moving sometimes even in the midst of famine god is sovereign and writing your story even when the place you're in in life isn't producing like you thought it would and if you're really honest with yourself and if i'm really honest with myself sometimes we go through seasons of disruption that we don't like we're living in bethlehem there's bread in bethlehem we've got a himalayan naomi and the boys and everything's going well and then all of a sudden something comes and disrupts our life something comes and produces pain and confusion and even sorrow in our life and so the bible said they had to make a decision are we going to starve to death in bethlehem are we going to make a move and are we going to go where we know there's food and what you must understand is that when they move from bethlehem to moab they're literally saying we're leaving the house of bread and we're going to a camp that some would call the enemies of god's people and here's what i found out about god god will often use disruption to lead you to destiny [Applause] god will often use pain to push you into purpose god will often use sorrow to bring you into a new season i can't find no help in here god will often use a pandemic to push you into more power i hope that you are not interpreting the moment that we are living in as somehow god losing control and sitting up in a corner of eternity somewhere popping a prozac and running his hand through his hair and and nervous about tomorrow i want you to know god is not shocked by anything that we are walking through god is not dealing with any regret you didn't inform him he doesn't need a newspaper they'll never tell him anything that he didn't already know god is on the throne and it might be that instead of losing our mind we need to gain a heavenly perspective and understand god could be working in this moment to push us through the pain into a place of purpose to get us out of the disruption into destiny because no matter what hell hatches against us i'm still persuaded that the steps of a good man are ordered by the lord i'm still believing that all things work together for the good to them that love the lord and those who are the called according to his purpose and at the end of the day god hasn't changed in his nature he is still good yesterday today and forever if you believe it say amen this famine in bethlehem pushed them into moab and they went there to survive some seasons are intended to survive and when i read the story of naomi she goes to moab with her two sons and her husband and what she gains in the process are two daughters-in-law namely orpah and ruth ruth and orpah are moabitesses they are not from bethlehem the land from which naomi come they are from and they find ruth and orpa in moab and chilean and malone these two boys of naomi and uhimalek they find these moabitesses and they marry them and now the family is growing and then all of a sudden in moab she begins to experience loss her husband himalay dies not long after that her two boys die naomi is left with two daughters-in-law in a strange land but something good happens in moab she hears a report i'm laying a foundation i'm having a good time while i'm on my way to my assignment tonight she's in moab and she hears a report that the famine in bethlehem has come to an end lord i feel like preaching and that bread is now back in the house of bread and i need to tell somebody tonight it is crucial to your future that you know how to make an end of one season and begin a new one because if you keep living in the old season and you keep thinking you're stuck and you keep thinking there's no provision and you keep thinking it will always be this way we'll never be able to hug again we'll always have to wear a mask we'll always be nervous and afraid of the corona i'm telling you at some point god is about to breathe on the body and say to the body i want you to know that there's bread in the house there's healing in the house there's breakthrough in the house you don't have to walk around run around and wonder the rest of your life if god's going to bring us out i came to tell you he is going to bring us out [Applause] [Music] she heard that there was bread in bethlehem and she said to her daughters-in-law i'm going back home y'all need to go back to your own house and serve your own gods and the bible said that orpah looked at ruth and said no we want to go with you and ruth said no we want to go with you and naomi said no i'm going back home and you can't go with me go back to your moabite family orpah kissed her and said peace and went home ruth clung to her i want to talk for a moment tonight about an alignment that is happening in your life and mine because a shift is coming to your life and mind and there are a number of areas of your life god is getting ready to align and the first area god is getting ready to put his grace on is the area of relationships i need to tell somebody who came on friday night that your future is connected to the people you connect to y'all didn't hear what i said if you want me to show somebody their future show me their friends if you want me to show you your tomorrow who are you connected with today you cannot run with chickens and soar like an eagle somebody in this room tonight has got to come into a place of relationship alignment and if you're going to be everything god put you on this planet to be ruth you've got to recognize that your future is not behind you in moab but your destiny is connected to naomi in bethlehem oh jesus who am i talking to i want you to look over at your neighbor and tell somebody i love you but i gotta go i love you but i can't stay here i love you but i can't be trapped in relationships that have kept me bound and anchored me down i'm coming up out of this in this season god is god is aligning god is aligning my life with the right people and before this night is over i feel like god is getting ready to cut back some stuff and some relationships that have been dead weight on your life slap your neighbor and tell your neighbor god is about to connect you with the kingdom connection and you better be careful who you ride off naomi don't look like much she is a widow she don't have no money she's barely made it she almost died and survived in mohammed but you better know that no matter how broke busted and disgusted she looked she was ruth's door into her next season god give us a church with discernment i have never in my life seen so many people jeopardize that i feel the holy ghost on me right now jeopardize your destiny over staying connected to somebody who you're not assigned to [Applause] [Music] do you understand what the bible said don't be unequally yoked do you know what that means we we have all kind of crazy interpretations about that paul knew what he was talking about when paul said don't be unequally yolk a yoke is a wooden device that houses the neck of two oxen and what you have to understand is when you get in a yoke with with a w it's this is crazy there's a lead ops and a dumb ox i'm not being critical i'm telling you what they call it in the field in the field the farmers would call it a lead ox and a dumb ox and when you get yoked up with the wrong ops if you're not careful you'll be the dumb ops that follows the lead ox and he'll take you away from church young lady and she'll take you away from the altar sir oh you're not gonna help me but i know what kind of spirit is loose in this hour and it's a devil of deception and distraction and i came to intercept the plan of the enemy for somebody tonight and tell you god loves you too much to let you get hooked up with the ox that'll take you out of this wheel in fact don't be shocked if by the time you get to your car tonight they send you a text and say peace out and instead of crying that they left you ought to put your dancing shoes on [Applause] i'ma give y'all the deepest revelation i ever got in my life you ready for this the rejection of man or a woman is oftentimes an expression of the jealousy of god one more time while this rewind the the rejection of a man or a woman is oftentimes an expression of the jealousy of god what does that mean he loved you too much to allow them to keep on liking you your destiny wasn't connected to them and since he wanted you more than anybody else wanted you he gently removed him out of your life and instead of crying you want to start praising because he's just trying to align your relationship i got to go i got to go i got to go i got to keep going here number two not only is he aligning relationships he is putting you in a timing alignment have you ever been looking at somebody else in the kingdom and been like man something good always happens to them man nothing good ever happens to me look at somebody tell your neighbor that's getting ready to change they didn't like it they got jealous so tell your other neighbor that's getting ready to change you are getting ready to get in timing with the favor of god [Music] and it hinges on your ability to disconnect from people who you used to be connected to oh come on in here ruth do you know when we do weddings we say this we we often say this in our weddings and we don't even know where we got it from but we say things like this until death do us part your god will be my god your people do you know who said that first not the preacher ruth did ruth looked at naomi and said my future is connected to you honey and i can't go back to moab i've got to go where you are your people will be my people your god will be my god watch this when when ruth made the decision to leave naomi but to to leave moab behind and go with naomi watch this she got into the timing of god [Music] i feel like covet some things that caused us to adjust and now we're getting ready to get syncopated in the timing [Applause] how many want to be in step with god what am i talking about i'm glad you asked the last verse of the first chapter of ruth says this that ruth and naomi decided to go back uh-huh look here at verse number 22. they decided to go back to bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest jesus if i'm going to go back let me go back to harvest time if i'm going to get in sync with god let it produce my steps intercepting harvest time in the kingdom i want you to know this family your season can change don't miss this don't bat an eye you'll miss it that quick well you know i got to get some things lined up god's already working on your lining up some of y'all need to learn how to praise it when you can't figure him out because you trust that he's good even when you don't know what he's up to oh i just said something right there how many believe even when you can't trace him he can be trusted when you don't know what god is doing can you at least praise him that you still believe he's good and you may not be able to see it working out but you really do believe all the steps of a good man or woman are ordered by the lord timing is getting aligned [Music] most theologians believe that when naomi was in moab she was there 10 years a decade how many know that a decade is a long time come on in here y'all how many would like to have another decade at least another day a decade is a long time to live in moab surrounded by moabite gods and all of a sudden in one decision the season changes and it's harvest time i just want to leave this with you before i bounce to point number three your season can change that quick and it could have taken 10 years to get you to the moment when it's harvest time but i have some very very good gospel news for you when it's your harvest time there is not a demon big enough to keep you from your harvest i mean come on y'all presbyterian people said amen on that one how many know when it's your harvest time the devil can't stop what god puts in motion and i feel like there's some people in this room tonight who trust jesus and because he's the lord in your life he sent me to tell somebody that you're getting ready to get into a timing thing and the door is getting ready to open and the right person is going to be standing right there and you're going to have the key to open your door for a new season let me keep going let me keep i got to get to the text hold on number three god is aligning your place your future is not in moab it's in bethlehem more specifically let me just say this to some visiting people who are wondering about do you belong in the kingdom you belong in the kingdom and if you don't have a church you belong in here well how do you know that because god mysteriously drew you to this place tonight oh halloween weekend do you understand that you've been searching for something you can't find out there you won't find this in moab you won't find hope in moab you won't find joy in moab how do you know because the kingdom of god is not meeting drink but righteousness peace and joy in the holy ghost you can't find true joy out in the world because it's not the world's portion it belongs to those who are citizens of the kingdom of god this is where you belong well i was told i wasn't welcomed by other churches well that's why god brought you here because you are welcome here and your future is connect you've got to find the kind of people in your life that you know when you see them there's something about them that is connected to my future [Applause] what's this placement now it's not just that god brought her out of moab when she connected to naomi when she got to bethlehem please understand ruth is a moabitess she don't even know how to do life like jewish people know how to do life it's all foreign to her she's not even really supposed to be living in bethlehem but when you get connected to the right people y'all missing what i'm saying how many are living a life right now you are you have experienced favor in such a way you know you don't deserve it like 12 of y'all okay [Music] before we leave tonight my prayer is going to be for every person breathing in this house i said every person breathing in this house that you come into a place of divine favor and it's the kind of favor that when it happens there is no question about where it came from can i explain to you what i'm talking about thank you when you when she comes out of moab she goes to bethlehem and because naomi is a seasoned saint we don't have old people at church we have seasoned saints because naomi is a seasoned saint and passed her prime ruth understands that the burden of taking care of both of them rests solely upon her so ruth says to naomi i'm going to go out into the field and get the leftovers of the cleaners why was she going to get the leftovers because it was harvest time i'm trying to tell y'all timing is everything but not only is timing everything the bible said she went to a field to glean and it just so happened to be the field of a man who was connected to a himalaya who was naomi's dead husband and now because she is aligned with the right people are you following me and she's gotten into the right time god is now getting ready to order her steps and put her in the right place i want you to slap your neighbor unless you got covered don't do it but if you don't have covert slap your neighbor and tell your neighbor neighbor god is about to put you in the right place somebody's losing sleep if you're in the right place i got news for you if you want to be in the right place the steps of a good man are ordered by the lord and god is getting ready to save you some time no more wasted time it's time to give him the right place she could have went to any field in bethlehem but she just happens to show up in boaz's field i gotta be careful with that one and she's getting out in the field after the workers are through working and she's looking for leftovers there's a few here a few there now you must understand this is a moabitess and and she didn't look like a jewish sister her nails wasn't dead come on she was struggling struggling in bethlehem need a little bit of need a little bit of help ruth but i want you to see something i want you to see something she's out in the field dirt up under the nails dirt on her brow her hair sweating and picking up those leftovers and all of a sudden boaz looks out there oh man boaz still got it single after all them years he looks out in the field y'all smile some of y'all need to smile in the middle of a pandemic come on look down in the field say who is that this is such a deep theological revelation because you would think that in order to strike up the relationship ruth may look at him and see his wealth and want him but instead he looked at the moabiters he looked at the one with dirt up under her nails and her hair wasn't done and she didn't look fine at that moment she was out in the field cleaning but aren't you glad that romans teaches us he first loved us i can't find no help in here i'm not in here tonight because i loved him first i'm in here tonight because he loved me first love me with dirt up under my nails i can't find no help love me with sweat coming off my brow love me when i was in the bar love me when i was in the craft house love me when i was a wreck some of you raised in sunday school all your life you may not understand this one but somebody in this room is thankful that god loved them when they were announced from moab [Music] anybody know what it feels like to be a mess from moab came to tell you if you jacked up and messed up and tore up you're next in line for the favor of god god is gonna bless you if you'll turn to him he said who is that they said that is ruth the moabitess who came who came with naomi from moab and he said this is crazy he said tomorrow she's going to come back i don't want her getting leftovers i want to to be out here in the field and as you go out and reap brothers i want y'all to reap it but throw out handfuls on purpose so that when she comes reaping she don't just reap leftovers she reaps handfuls see this is what i was talking about a moment ago when i said god is getting ready to give you the kind of blessing that you're not confused about some of you haven't been blessed like that before some of us have been blessed and we thought that we manipulate our way into that blessing did i use my connections to get that blessing what if i told you god was about to do something in your life that you can't give anybody else the credit for when you get out to the field tomorrow there's not gonna be a little bit there's not gonna be a leftover there's gonna be a handful on purpose look at your neighbor tell them on purpose oh purpose god's about to bless you on purpose he's about to bless you and he knows the mess you made he's about to bless you and he knows the wreck you are he's about to bless you and he knows what you did yesterday i need somebody to praise god for the handful of prayers the handful the handful the handfuls handfuls every time i turn around i don't understand why i don't understand why it doesn't but every time i turn around i keep reaping more than i planned i keep taking it more than i threw out why because i serve a god who bless you good measure press down shaking together and running over don't you never tell god's about to bless you god is about to bless you [Music] sit with me she goes out the next day i gotta get to my text lord have mercy she starts reaping she goes back home and read the text when she comes home she got all this grain and naomi said where you been reaping naomi knew what she was carrying was not the product of an accident it was because somebody left her a handful what are you going to do when you come to church and the people who hate down the road and they see you when you go to work on monday and come on in here somebody and when you come in after you've left the church on sunday and you're so loaded with spiritual blessings that you walk into church on monday you walk into your workplace on monday and they look at you and they say where you been [Applause] what do you mean where i've been well you just look so good i mean you look so happy girl you're looking so joyful what is up where you been oh honey i've been to the altar and i got me a handful on purpose i've been in praise and worship and i got me a handful on purpose i know you thought because i used to be screwed up god could never bless me but i want you to see what a trophy of grace looks like i want you to know that god will bless you family coming in and he'll bless you going out and he'll bless you in the city and he'll bless you in the field and he don't have to wait till cole it is over before he blesses you he'll bless you in the middle of a mess so that nobody gets the glory but god so so naomi says you've been in boaz's field she said tonight i want you to go in this is where i'm going i got to get there right now right now i want you to go to boaz's tent tonight after he eats and is full i want you to go in and pull the covers over his feet and into the tent now this is crazy now this is crazy there's only one person in my life that can roll up the covers on my feet her name is d-e-v-e-n her name is kevin my name her name is devin my name is kevin on a scale of one to ten she's an eleven and we are a match made in heaven y'all didn't know i had that in me did you but the anointing not only helps me preach i write poems as well [Applause] what is she doing going into boaz's tent and rolling up the covers she is initiating relationship because she understands that her future is connected to intimacy with the redeemer if you don't get anything else i say catch that one your future is connected to intimacy with the redeemer because what he's looking for is not someone who follows him for the handfuls he wants somebody who'll jump in the tent roll the covers up y'all don't want me to preach on this on friday night but i came to tell you he's tired of these dates who come in on sunday morning and blow him a kiss and then wednesday through saturday they won't hear stuff but they don't want his face i'm telling you tonight the church in this hour is not gonna chase him for the blessing they're not gonna stop till they find his face i don't just want his stuff i want the savior i want the glory i want his presence i don't just want a new car i want more of his power in my life and she comes in and she throws up the cupboards and this is crazy because she could be rejected but naomi pardon me but boaz initiates response to the initiation of relationship by saying to her i will take you i'll be the kinsman but there's one other person who's next in line before me we need to go ask him if he wants to be the councilman redeemer and this is what i love about god because there's always somebody who wants you but some people just wanted ruth for the land and the stuff in fact when boaz went to the man and they don't even name him in the bible the reason they don't name him is because history is not given to the cowards or those who are not committed we don't even need to know his name because he wouldn't even take her hand in marriage so boaz goes to this man and says you are next in line as kinsman redeemer for all of the property that belonged to ahemolekh and the bible says that the man said i want i want to be the next one i'll be the kinsman redeemer i'll take all the land and all the stuff and boaz says okay but you have to take ruth's hand in marriage too so that you can be a namesake and when the man knew that it required intimacy with ruth he didn't want the stuff that bad here's the point the point is if you get the savior and he's the object of your love you get the stuff but if all you want is the stuff and not the savior you don't get the stuff or the savior there are some people in here they got nice stuff because they've been walking with the savior for a long time you may judge them and you may misjudge them and you may say well they don't deserve it you don't know how deep they've been in intimacy with the king and until you've never been in the tent with him and rolled up the covers you could never understand my blessing if you were not there the night when he and i came out again who am i preaching to has anybody in here ever almost burnt down you almost lost it all you escaped from hell's kitchen and your hair smelled like fire but you're still alive tonight and you're here because the savior brought you out i got to come watch this [Applause] none of that none of that is the sermon that's the introduction so i gotta roll boaz says this woman is mine he goes like every good bethlehemite in his day to the gates of the city of bethlehem and there are the elders of bethlehem and the elders of bethlehem hear the pledge that boaz makes regarding ruth the motive moabitess and he says this will be my wife and i will serve as her family's kinsmen redeemer and all that that belongs to naomi that ahimalek had until he died i'll now take it back because i will be the redeemer of this family and the elders of israel did something crazy they looked at ruth and boaz and they pronounced blessing upon this new couple that's the scripture i read to you tonight the 11th verse of ruth chapter 4 is the recording of the elders of israel lifting their hand up over boaz and ruth and releasing blessing over the house this is where i'm about to lose my sermon and i'm about to just start flowing because in this moment that we're living right now i hear a whole lot of voices not very redemptive voices i hear a lot of fear-mongering i hear a lot of hate y'all don't have to say man you watch the same mess i watch anybody ever anybody ever watched something been like what am i doing i should have been in matthew martin luke and john what am i saying we are hearing curses and wondering why we don't experience blessing we are feeding our soul garbage there are two gates into your heart put your hand on your eyes eye gate and put your hand on your ear irrigate through your eyes and through your ears content enters your soul and there are people in the in the church right now that are exposing their heart to more garbage than they are glory and the way i know it is because if i check out the source of the person speaking into your life the source will determine the content of what's in there and we are hearing a whole lot of hopelessness a whole lot of division a whole lot of hate a whole lot of malice a whole lot of fear and then we run the church on sunday morning and we sing a song about god is doing something and our minds are conflicted because out there we're being bombarded with words that that that divide in words that hurt and words that harm and words that bury and words that try to kill and then we come in here to try to declare something that is different than the world out there and what i came to tell you is god is about to speak because he's tired of the house of the lord hearing all the other voices all the other curses all the other junk i don't know about you but i'm ready for god to open up his mouth and say something over you say something over me say something over my house anybody want to hear him there's a reason there's a reason he blessed there's a reason they were blessed it's because the elders understood the power of blessing if god just wanted to bless you he could put it on you but read numbers chapter 6 god told moses to go tell aaron you walk out to israel and you lift your hand up over israel and you say the blessing like this the lord bless you and keep you the lord make his face to shine upon you the lord be gracious unto you and give you his peace and when god said this this is numbers chapter six god said moses tell aaron when he blesses israel with his words i'll bless them with my blessing why can't god just bless them without aaron saying something because you got to hear the blessing why do i got to hear the blessing because faith comes by y'all better help me right here and hearing by the word of the lord why do you think why do you think the enemy fights for for space in your mind because the more jay the more he talks in your ear the more he pollutes your soul and robs you of faith that's why we gotta come on in here sisters where y'all at talk to the hand [Applause] because i ain't trying to hear it anymore i'm tired of voices telling me i'll never be blessed i'm tired of voices telling me i'll always be a wreck i'm tired of voices telling me my marriage will never work i'm tired of voices telling me i'll always be broke i'm tired of voices telling me i'll never overcome who i used to be those voices do not come from god and most of the time they're only present because you haven't heard somebody speak a blessing over your life and tonight god is going to speak over you so they come to the elders and what do the elders of israel say to them the first thing they say this is crazy right here this is real crazy they look at ruth and boaz and they bless boaz and say may the woman you're marrying be like leah and rachel and and that's when ruth said hold on timeout cause those two sisters had 13 kids y'all come on in here ladies i mean if you're 25 or 30 you're like okay well that's you know that's a lot of kids if you're 50 you're not hold up jack i bind every what were the elders of israel saying may you have a fruitful womb there would be no israel without rachel and leah do you understand there would be no israel without the fruitfulness of their womb and what the elders are saying is may god bless this house with fruitfulness the next thing he said is may you prosper in ephrathah and may you be famous in judah now i know that when we hear that we're like well you know i don't want no prosperity gospel preached to me listen to me very carefully the elders of israel understood something in order for you to be a blessing you must first be blessed on wait let me finish this the most selfish thing you could ever do is act like you don't want to be blessed i don't want to be blessed i can't handle all that it might go to my head well when it comes to you pass it down to me because i know what to do with it come on in here somebody all these super spiritual people well you know my mama told me poverty gets you into heaven your mama lied to you poverty is not a ticket into heaven there'll be as many poor people in hell as they will rich people what gets you into heaven is the blood of jesus christ and i'm telling you when he saves you from sin it's not just to get out of health he'll bless you mind body soul spirit he'll bless you domestically relationally occupationally mentally physically and yes he will bless you financially abraham can't be a blessing to many nations if abraham don't get blessed first so tonight when i pronounce a blessing over your family to be prosperous i just want you to say lord i don't want anything you don't want me to have but i want everything you said was mine i felt something just happened right there i felt somebody's mind just get set free i felt a poverty mentality get broken right then i feel like god is about to raise up some millionaires right here in the city life god's about to give you an invention a new thing you say preacher i don't know if i can handle it you can handle it god's getting ready to make you the head and not the time ten minutes i promise you i think we're through i think he said i want you to be like rachel and leah and have fruitful wounds i want you to be prosperous and ephrath and i want you to be famous and you famous i want you to be known now i'm not going to go too deep in this because some people will faint and fall out but i'm going to tell you right now i want to be known in the right kind of way everybody's known for something y'all know them people in your family you start talking about them you're like oh do we invite them to thanksgiving oh praise the lord the governor just he just limited the gathering size of thanksgiving meals praise the lord that was the lord we don't have to invite him y'all know y'all saying it right now in your mind your mind is going famous known i want my kids and my grandkids and my great-grandkids and my great-great-grandkids i want them if the lord terrorists a hundred years from now to be sitting at a christmas looking at pictures and i won't be sitting up there with my bible in that picture who is that that was your papa your great great great peppa he broke curses he broke curses there was some stuff that tried to hinder everybody in the wallace family there was some stuff there was some demons and some spirits that tried to drive everybody in the wallet's house crazy but that man had a prayer life that man got a revelation how many want to be known for what god does through your life and then this last piece the last piece i'm wrapping up he said i want you this is out of nowhere out of nowhere i want your house to be like the house of perez now if you have a king james bible that says pharaoh is but if you have a new king james or other some other newer translation it says perez and it would it would cause me to it piqued my interest as i began to read this why the house of perez what's this all about and in order to understand the revelation of what it means when the elders bless them to be a house like the house of prince you've got to rewind to genesis 38. oh this is where this is where the morey poet show comes out right here yeah come on this is montel williams right here y'all this is cray-cray okay okay all the people who think well the bible is just for perfect people you may read genesis 38 because it gets bananas in genesis 38 you have a man you have a man named judah okay he have a man named judah who has a son who is married to a woman named tamar and the husband of tamar dies and tamar goes to the gates of the city and dresses up like a prostitute and judah her father-in-law he he comes to the gate one night and he's looking for love in all the wrong places and he can't even notice that the woman dressed as a prostitute at the gates of the city is his ex-daughter-in-law so he takes her into a room and the bible said that he knew her which is an old testament way of saying they become sexually intimate and when they did the bible said that her womb was filled with twins tamar is pregnant with twins and your bible says that the time when the twins were to be born the midwife comes into the room i mean genesis chapter 38 you can read this later in genesis 38 the midwife comes into the room and tamar is getting ready to give birth your bible said that when when the first boy came out say first boy why does it matter who's first because the firstborn gets the birthright and the firstborn gets the blessing of the firstborn and there's nothing like being the firstborn of a family in israel because when you're the born you get the best when you're the first born you get the good stuff when you're the first born you get the doors open and you get all of the wealth and everything in the family lays on the shoulders of the firstborn everybody wants to be blessed like the firstborn and when uh tamar is ready to give birth to the twins the the one baby shoots his hand through the womb of the mother and the hand comes out and when it does the midwife bends over picks up a red scarlet thread and ties it to the hand of the boy whose hand came out first but something happened in genesis 38 that's never happened before or since and that is that after she tied the scarlet thread to his hand the hand with drew back up into the womb and the midwife had never seen anything like this before and the mother didn't know what was going on but inside the womb oh in a hidden place a shift what's happening i'm getting ready to get excited in this room because it looked like the boy whose hand came out first would receive the birthright and the blessing it looked like he would get the good stuff and it looked like the second born son was just gonna have to live on the leftovers but something happened in the womb that's never happened before there was a shift in the womb in an unseen place god was rearranging the order of birth i feel like preaching to somebody in this room and it looked like that the second child would get the leftovers but in the womb god moved that baby who was last to the front of the line and when he was born he came out watched and there was no scarlet thread on his hand and the midwife said uh-oh this one wasn't supposed to get the birthright but he did so let's name him perez [Applause] and then she offered an explanation for the name she said let's name him perez because this child has broken through look at your neighbor tell them call me perez i know my name is bobby but tonight i'm perez i know my name is susie but tonight i'm perez i know my name is kevin but tonight i'm perez because i am the one that was behind i am the one that was about to get the leftover i am the one that was about to be forgotten i am the one that didn't look like they would be next but i am next and i'm breaking through tonight my name is perez this is crazy they did not name the child till after he came out of the womb which tells me you cannot be called appropriately what you're going to be while you're still in the mess it's when you come out of the mess that everybody sees what god is up to in your life look at somebody tell them don't name me too early you may call me broke right now but i'm coming out of this you may call me messed up right now but i'm coming out of this and when i come out that you'll call me breakthrough watch i'm done i'm done i'm done i really am done start playing something that sounds like landing music they said we're gonna name that baby perez that was years and years before ruth four was written hundreds of years and by the time we come to ruth's life the house of perez had become a synonymous way of releasing bl when they said may your house be like the house of prayers what they're saying is may you always be the kind of house that no matter what you go through you never get stuck [Music] you just break through and then i got over there in the second samuel chapter five but i'm not going to preach this i priest is a ruler david got over in the valley of rifle him say rephyim rephyim means giants the valley of giants the philistines heard it got anointed and the bible said in second samuel chapter five that they came out to test him to fight against him he went to the lord and said do you want me to go up before them and god said go up before them give them the into your hand down in the valley surrounded by philistines david called on the name of the lord and he changed the name of that valley that day this is all in second samuel five he changed the name of that valley that day from the valley of rephaem meaning giants watch this to a place called bel perez baal is simply a word that means lord perez eem don't miss this everybody see perez it's the same perez from genesis 38 and the same perez from ruth four but david did something that no one understood except we who've been through some battles david didn't call it the lord of breakthrough he called him the lord of breakthroughs watch perez is the singular pirozim i am in the hebrew adds a plural to it how do i know that seraph or seraph s-e-r-a-p-h are flying flaming angels seraphim are a multitude of repha or giants refi eem are refa is a giant rephaim are giants i am always as the plural what's the point david did not call him the lord of the breakthrough because that might mean i go through one battle and he gives me breakthrough but the next time i go through a battle i don't know if he'll show up david said oh no not this god i'm gonna get victory in this battle but he's not just the lord of the breakthrough he's the lord of the breakthroughs [Applause] somebody's already had a breakthrough but somebody came here tonight wondering if he can give you another one i just came to call him the lord of the breakthroughs [Applause] and i came to declare that your house come on stand with me i'm through preaching your house will be a house of breakthroughs somebody who needs a breakthrough obed who had a son named jesse who had a son named david who had a son who had a son and they kept on having sons until one day a woman named mary had a son and when bartimaeus come walking up on the scene in mark chapter 7 and he heard jesus was passing by he said jesus son of david why did he call him son of david because he remembered david was connected to jesse jesse was connected to open oped was connected to boaz and it kept going back to a house called feyres and pharrell's produced a breakthrough and bartimaeus knew if i'm gonna get a new kind of life i'm not gonna get it through any other man i'm gonna get it through this man who came through and from the house of breakthrough what are you telling me i'm telling you faith pharah started something that is still producing breakthrough today one man had a breakthrough who produced a son who had a breakthrough who produced sons who had breakthrough and you could be the one person in your whole family tree who gets a breakthrough that produces children who live in a breakthrough that produces children who live in a breath the curses are broken by the blood of jesus [Applause] if your house needs a breakthrough robbing you of your sleep the spirit of fear the voices of worry you're not gonna lose your house you're not gonna lose your marriage you're not gonna lose your children and in the name of jesus you're not gonna die of clothing you're gonna live and you're not gonna die [Applause] i declare you're going to rest tonight and the rest of this year and if you need this throw your hands up i bless you with sleep psalm chapter 2 said he gives his beloved sleep he doesn't give them tore men and gives them sleep psalm chapter 3 many are they increased that trouble me many are they that rise up against me many are they that say of my soul there is no help for him in god but now o lord are a shield about me the glory and the lifter of my head i laid me down and slept and i awakened for the lord sustained me with his right hand i declare right now every marriage if you're by your spouse take their hand and lift it up i don't care if you got the biggest fight of your life i'm about to break every assignment and this is not just because i'm blowing smoke i'm telling you the blessing of god is going to flow into your house if you let him in humble yourself in the sight of the lord he'll lift you up in due time some of you feel like you can't make it anymore this pandemic has exposed cracks in your relationship and the devil's trying to exploit the weak foundation but i'm telling you tonight god is going to strengthen every family every marriage i bless every marriage now they're not just going to survive they're going to come into a season of blessing they're going to have more joy now i break every assignment of the enemy trying to hinder the joy in your house and i release joy now i release joy now i release breakthrough now i release [Music] breakthrough [Music] okay holy ghost thank you some of you are afraid of what you're going to be known for [Music] saying everybody but some of you made such tragic mistakes and the enemies told you that's what you're going to be known for god just told me to tell you the blessing of a legacy is coming on your life you're going to be known for redemption you're going to be known that you serve the god of second jesus [Music] and i just heard the holy ghost told me to tell somebody your kids will not follow you into your mistake the lord is good to you in your house and because you repented and turned it over to god that thing is broken off and it has no power over you somebody shout i bless every house in this room the bible said a that jacob leaned on his staff and blessed every one of his children why did he lean on his staff because by the time he had gotten to that place of blessing he was an old man weak in body but strong in spirit some of you feel weak weak because of this moment we're living in weak because of the stuff you've been fighting you feel weak and like you have no power to bless but if jacob can lean on a staff and bless his children you can lean on the promises of god and bless yours i want you to go home tonight i'm done i want you to go home tonight i don't care if you've never prayed for your [Music] kids something's going to shift in your atmosphere you don't have to know what to say walk through your front door tonight throw up your hands and say i bless this house i bless it with breakthrough i bless it with peace walk in your kid's bedroom pastor kevin they've gone too far the devil is a liar they're coming home i said that i feel this i better quit because i feel this they're coming home and some of them are coming home this sunday some of them are coming back to god this sunday [Music] i'm gonna leave you with galatians chapter six verse number nine keep on doing good for in due season you will reap a harvest the new living translation says it my favorite you will reap a harvest as long as you don't quit house of breakthrough it's not that you don't have an enemy it's that he can't keep you from the birthright and the blessing [Applause] healing where there was infirmity somebody just got healed right there healing where there is infirmity a right hip a right leg this whole area just healed by the power of god jesus you make all
